Kcal Fitness is a private Personal Training and Nutrition center in Kitchener, where experienced Personal Trainers Jenn and Bill Calberry have been helping people to lose weight and build strong healthy bodies for years. The facility was designed to make professional training and nutrition coaching available to the average person, and the spacious private gym combines all the equipment and resources they need.

We provide evidence-based training programs, individually developed for each member, and guided by experienced Personal Trainers. We also keep things as simple as possible, so members can focus on doing what they need to do.

You don't need to deal with overcrowded gyms or costly home fitness equipment cluttering up your house any longer. Because our large private gym provides all the equipment you'll need and plenty of space to use it safely and effectively.

In an industry full of shady characters that are here today and gone tomorrow, veteran Personal Trainers Jenn and Bill Calberry are among the few constants. Together they have over 50-years of combined experience helping the people of Kitchener Waterloo overcome their challenges and achieve their weight-loss and fitness goals.

Bill keeps my workouts interesting and challenging. He learned how to push and motivate me very early on, and has helped me come back from soccer injuries, and become a better athlete.

Jenn has always displayed a high degree of integrity, respect and ambition. She really makes her clients feel great about themselves by helping set fitness goals, personalizing an amazing program and coaching towards exceeding results.

Bill is a true professional, I have been training with Bill for approx. 4 months and have been challenged, satisfied, exhausted and energized at each session. I would recommend Bill for anyone who wants to improve their strength, or personal wellbeing.

Jenn is very knowledgeable in her area and she brings a wide range of practical experience to her daily interactions with her clients. She is highly motivated and consistently gives one hundred percent plus, to the tasks at hand.

To win my National and World Championships has been a great honor and I know I’d never have accomplished this without Bill’s relentless commitment to make me the best I could be. This was where it all started and something I will be forever grateful to him for.

Whether it was leading me to my initial weight-loss goal, training to maintain what I’d worked so hard for, improving my overall fitness, or patiently working with me while I struggled to recover from an injury, Jenn was always there for me.

No fluff. Bill gets results. If you need a plan to improve your shape, Bill can lead you every step of the way. If you can trust in his process, he will get you results. He’s as honest as they come. Did I mention no fluff?

Fantastic experience: I have been going to KCAL for over three and a half years, and my mobility, my endurance, and my strength have all improved, and continue to improve. At the age of 74, I never expected this, and now recommend strength training to all who will listen. Bill is also an excellent trainer with Health Sciences and Kinesiology education, and a background in weight training, football, and other activities.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for safe gym options right now, you should definitely call Bill. He and Jenn have gone above and beyond to make their personal training space exceptionally safe and clean for their clients. Bill and Jenn clearly mean it when they say their clients' safety comes first. Bill is a knowledgeable, experienced, trustworthy, and professional trainer, and the best I've ever worked with. He knows what works and how to motivate you to help you meet your goals. Training with Bill has helped me recover from and prevent ergo injuries. As I move through my 40s, this is increasingly important! He even helped me recover from a rotator cuff injury that I had previously struggled with for years. I really can't say enough good things about this place. I've been going to KCal for more than 4 years, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: As a very physically active 56-year-old, the effort to stay fit gets harder with age. Over time, my injuries increased with little to no recovery from various paramedical treatments. I suffered chronic back pain for several years before I finally went to Kcal Fitness. Bill developed an individual-specific training program to help me build and maintain my strength, which was noticeable in the first 2 weeks. After 3 years of consistent training with Bill, I still enjoy many hours of weekly sports, walks and hikes – without injury. In fact, I am more fit now than I was 20 years ago. During this 2020 Coronavirus pandemic my physical fitness is particularly fundamental in keeping me sane. Thanks, Bill!

Fantastic experience: If you want to return to the gym, but also want a safe environment during Covid, then K-Cal has to be your choice!. I have been training with Bill Calberry owner of K-Cal for over 5 years. The steps taken to protect the clients and staff are above and beyond. The professional personal training aspect has not changed. Attention to client safety is paramount. Social distancing exceeds the current health department recommendations. Fantastic experience: I've been working with trainers for more than 15 years and I've never been as strong as I have been since working with Bill. He pushes me to my best and is incredibly knowledgeable about this industry. During the pandemic, Bill and Jenn have gone above and beyond to make clients feel safe. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Bill at Kcal Fitness for just over 4 years now. I have a physical job and Bill helps to keep me strong and functional so I can be at my best. Most notably, Bill recently helped me through an ACL and meniscus tear. I was in the gym before my surgery getting as strong as I possibly could and I was back in there post-surgery gaining my strength back with confidence under Bill's watchful eye. I refer a lot of my friends and patients to Bill because I trust him and he's a great communicator, so I know the people I care about are in good hands!

Fantastic experience: This is not my first gym nor my first trainer and by comparison I truly dont think this establishment can be outdone in the way they operate their private training gym. They listened to me when I explained my goals and created a plan to assist me in achieving them. The support and training I have received has excelled any I have had in the past from other gyms and trainers. I highly recommend this gym and the staff.
