Fantastic experience: I did and if it wasn't so expensive id take the whole family there if i had my family and i wasn't left all alone with a job to do to make my parents proud even though they have left me many years ago jee thanks its ok i will survive with all my street friends and new friends joy thanks i will not forget what u keep doing for me , u even give me pills that i don't need so amusing i will protect you.

Fantastic experience: I've been to Anytime Fitness + Fit4Less, and neither can hold a candle to the cleanliness and vastness that is the YMCA. Also, gym etiquette was a huge problem at Fit4Less, with many members not wiping down machinery, leaving free weights scattered about, and not respecting other members. Everyone is so polite at the YMCA and it's a great atmosphere to work out in!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism Great fitness programs with lots of variety in types of classes including cardio, weights, yoga/pilates and more. Instructors are knowledgeable and make workouts enjoyable!

Fantastic experience: The staff and volunteers at the A.R. Kaufman Family YMCA are wonderful. The instructors have great energy and are accommodating, supportive, and encouraging of all activity and ability levels. The facilities are very clean and well kept. The pool is a little on the small side with only 4 lanes for lane swim, but otherwise the temperature and chlorination levels are very comfortable. Other patrons are also very kind and supportive. A very positive vibe. I've felt very welcomed and included as a newbie in the fitness world.

Fantastic experience: Kind staff that always try to brighten up everyone’s day! I have been going regularly for personal training and have seen significant results. They are so thorough with the COVID Health regulations and they make sure everyone is safe.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to this YMCA for 4 years and I love it. Everyone is so friendly and they have all the equipment I need for my workouts. I enjoy feeling like part of a community and the YMCA motivates me to stay committed to my health.

Fantastic experience: The Y had been great to me over the yeeears, especially with my accidents/injuries. So many programs and experienced employees to help me literally get back on my feet. Not including the amazing pool... I'm a lifer for sure

Fantastic experience: They offer a daily membership, for approximately $8. The squash courts are well maintained and the environment is clean. They have a gym, pool, volleyball courts and gymnasium for other sports like badminton/soccer.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities with lots of options for however you like to stay active. Staff are friendly and always greet me when I come in! Change rooms and facilities are clean and well kept. Lots of options for lane swims and open swims in the pool. Tons of classes and activities for people of all age and fitness level.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently doing the 2 week free trial and I am in LOVE. They have so much to offer and the staff are FANTASTIC. For the fitness classes, they know I'm new right away, always introduce themselves, and give me a rundown of the class. Afterwards, they always ask how I liked it and if I'll be back! I'll definitely be going for the membership after the trial period.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, very helpful! Facilities are decent. I was in town for a couple days and wanted to use the gym. They made it very easy to sign up for a guest pass (as opposed to some of the higher priced gyms in the area that either wanted me to pay $20+ per day or take an hour long tour of their facilities). The Y doesn't pretend to be anything it's not, and that's perfect;

Fantastic experience: I love this place so much my only complaint is the pool doesn't have a slide. Whole family has passed and the kids perpetually takemlessons there for something. Love it.

Fantastic experience: Great gym that facilitates all types of people in a friendly manner. Very inclusive atmosphere. Many classes to choose from and lots of equipment to suit your workout needs and very rarely busy and you have to wait for equipment. A bonus at this facility is the squash and racket ball courts. Also I opted out for the plus change room that has towel service a sauna and hot tub. Worth the extra 10 bucks in my opinion

Fantastic experience: We love going to the YMCA as a family. My children love swimming lessons and child care staff. They staff always make the girls feel welcome. Very happy we have made this apart of our weekly routine.

Fantastic experience: Took swimming lessons here (as an adult). The swim instructors are young, but well trained. They were able to adapt their lesson plans on the spot to help me achieve my swimming goals. Lessons are also very reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility with some excellent health programs that are free for members. Staff are welcoming and willing to adjust for any starter level. They genuinely want to see you be in the best shape you can be. Great place for people who need a community to help push them towards their goals.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly and accommodating and the drop in fee was just lowered to $5.75 for <30 years old. Good deal! Ball hockey on tuesdays and sundays is always a good time. Pool is a bit dated, however, would recommend the Stork YMCA in Waterloo for lap swim.
