Fantastic experience: I love the black card spot. Even when it's busy, it still feels spacious.

Fantastic experience: It’s good place and the price just offers enough value to your experience

Negative experience: Good gym just one customer service rep who is rude and has a bad attitude. I think staff should be better trained on how to talk to customers. She accused me of a bad attitude when she was the one rolling her eyes at me and being rude to me.

Negative experience: The black card access area is always crowded (sometimes more than the regular area) as a result of people sneaking in as groups or when a black card member goes through. It’s disappointing to see the management and staff not monitoring this situation. I seriously hope something will be done to fix this.

Negative experience: You guys have to have a max capacity on this gym per 2 hours or something! Some of us would like to actually train. Most of you who go there are on your phones for over 5 mins at a time. It’s called do your SETS AND GET OFF THE MACHINE. This isn’t a vacation spot, some of us are actually training. Fix this problem, or shut the place down because the people who are actually paying to train and have their membership worth while aren’t getting their money out of it, due to the lack of others actually not training. So stop talking, stop treating it like a vacation spot. 1-3 mins per machine makes sense.

Fantastic experience: Love going to this gym, very spacious and black card machines are all new.

Negative experience: Lots of broken equipment, seems nothing gets fixed when it breaks. Out of order signs on multiple machines for months. All of the message chairs have been broken for multiple months.

Negative experience: Decent enough gym. It's just not maintained. Some huge annoyances: - you have to have the black card if you want a good workout with a variety of machines, especially when it's busy - broken machines, particularly ALL the massage chairs (for two months now) - dust and dirt - empty soap in the bathrooms (happens way too often)

Fantastic experience: This is undoubtedly the best gym in St. Catharines. From walking through the door, until the time you leave, you're greeted with a smile, by name. This place is special. The staff go above and beyond their duties. It really makes you look forward to going to the gym. Shout out specifically to: Mary, Amanda, Emily, Noah, Scott, Kylie, Sierra & Vanessa. You guys feel like my second family ❤️. These people really are amazing. Cleanliness. I'm not too sure what other reviews are talking about, but there is ALWAYS someone cleaning something to make sure it's safe and sanitary. I am a real member that witnesses this every single day. Always keeping on top of the floors, the washrooms, the machines, the SHOWERS, the tanning area. Equipment. The equipment selection is more than you can imagine, with two free weight sections, tons of cable machines & weight machines, multiple different leg presses.. stretching area. It's all modern and kept up well. This is not only a place to workout, but shower, tan, recover, UNWIND....If you've never had a hydro massage, the membership alone is worth it for those alone. I don't think this place would be the same without the staff they have. The owner is extremely lucky. Thanks for being an incredible part of my fitness journey Fit4less fam!

Positive experience: It's annoying to pay extra for perks, like the massage chairs, only to have them all under maintenance. It's been months, when will they be fixed?

Negative experience: I like fit for less for it's affordability, but this location always has broken machines; some of them have since the gym opened and have never fixed them. All the massaging chairs are broken. A hydrobed is broken, and there are only 2. So if you plan to get a massage after your workout, you won't be able to cause there will always be a line. The attachments for the pulley machines are all broken for a long time. Sadly, I can't recommend this location. It will be better to train at home.

Negative experience: FIT FOR LESS is great if you’re on a budget. The equipments are all there depending on what you want to work on. I did notice most of the equipments aren’t cleaned regularly , they usually have dust bunnies on them. Majority of the interactions I’ve had with the staff here has not be great. They’re not very kind, a bit condescending. I do understand we’re all humans and have bad days, but there’s something off about the staff here. I hope management could speak to them. The attitude sucks!

Negative experience: I used to love coming here, but I pay for a black card to be able to use the amenities included in having one. (Massage chairs, hydro bed, cryo, black card zone) Most of the amenities are out of order or under maintenance. Today when I went all 4 massage chairs are under maintenance, one of two cryo is working and one of two hydro beds is working, among other equipment that's under maintenance or just broken. Its a tad frustrating, please fix these things. It's an overall clean and decent gym for the price I pay, but I'd like to actually have access to what I pay for.

Negative experience: Great gym. Absolutely terrible parking lot. Clearly no forethought was given when planning this location.

Negative experience: Everything is great , but the major reason I am paying for black card is to use massage chairs . However as you can see in picture 3 out 4 is under maintenance and the 3rd one in picture is also not working . So no chairs is working . So it is not fair and not worth a price . All other amenities are great , cleaning is good . I can understand if 1 out of 4 chair is not working then it sounds reasonable but 3 out 4 . And also from many weeks .

Fantastic experience: Great place, nice machines and weights

Negative experience: Having a visit with two friends of mine and in 5 minutes staff says me to leave the gym coz” as a visitor you are not allowed more than 5 minutes of walk in a gym”

Positive experience: So many pieces of equipment out of commission. 3 of 4 massage chairs broken. What the point of the black card if they do not work.

Fantastic experience: Big, bright and clean. Lots of great equipment. This is a great gym.

Fantastic experience: I feel like I shouldn't share this in case it gets too busy - but I love this place! I love the massage beds, the cryolounge, the equipment, the convenience, the price - all of it!!

Fantastic experience: Honestly, very impressed with this location. I used to pay a lot more $$$ to go to another gym. Now I pay a lot less and I am still able to get my full workouts in.

Negative experience: Place is always messy. A lot of people don't put their weights away. There's at least 4 or 5 machines that are constantly broken that need repair and it takes weeks before they get repaired. I found gummy bears on a machine a couple weeks ago and they were there for at least a week. Do better folks.

Positive experience: I go here because it's close to my house, but the dumbells only go up to 100lbs. There is a lack of cable machines and there are so many young kids that go here and just talk at the machines or on their phones. Most gyms are the same with that etiquette, but here it seems doubled. Thinking about paying more, and going back to good life where at least this was happening but not with groups, just individuals. Other than that... good price, nice space and a gym that gets the job done.

Negative experience: PROS: Clean gym, lots of great equipment, good pricing. CONS: A general membership who spend more time on their stupid cell phones while occupying equipment than they do working out. SO ANNOYING! Management should engage in an awareness program via posters throughout the gym and an email campaign to members reminding them that the equipment is for working out - NOT catching up on social media!!!

Positive experience: Would be 5 stars but it needs AC and fans. Gets very humid and the floors become slippery.

Positive experience: It's a nice big place for workout. Great location in the mall and open 24/7. Ample of parking space. Lots of options for workout. Nice equipments and massage chairs and Hydro massage too. Shower rooms and washrooms also with water fountain. Why one less ? Many equipments are out of order which needs repair or parts, which is always delayed. This causes crowd on other similar machines and people are literally grabbing machines to get on it asaap, which affects the workout routine. I know they are working on it but still it's always delayed. Lockers are very small, I was able to fit my bag in the older location lockers but here it's too small to fit in, I had already informed the team when the gym was started and they mentioned as it's a new gym they fit it later but even after 6 months they haven't fixed it. So please get new lockers.

Positive experience: Have been a blackcard member for about 7 months now. Pros: Friendly and well equipped. Cons: 1- Some broken machines like leg -curl and -extension, and adduction-abduction have not been fixed during these five months and at busy (evenings) times they are really needed. 2- Only one of 4 massage chairs has been functional. I reported this several times and just heard that they are waiting for the professional person to come and fix them.

Positive experience: It’s a decent gym for The price. Huge place, it can get busy during peak hours but it’s better than a lot of gyms in the area. One thing that’s frustrating is a bunch of machines being out of order for weeks at a time or longer. The showers are also scalding hot, and you can’t adjust the temperature. One thing they need to do is be more attentive about cleaning the tanning machine, and sanitizing areas in downtime. Overall, I enjoy this gym, the people are great, and it’s way better than the Pen Centre. I absolutely love that the cardio machines have fans on them as I don’t die of sweat!

Negative experience: 8 machines down in two months with nothing being fixed. I mentioned this and was just asked if I wanted alternatives. I'd like the place I'm paying to work out at to have machines that work. Ad/abductions been down the entire time and he told me 'no it's been fixed' I've been here everyday monday-friday for two months and it wasn't working once, and if it was then you need to replace the machine if it breaks so often. It's very disappointing to also see them try to fix the drink machine before any of the equipment. On top of the broken machines they also don't replace their carabiners that are broken, it's been a week since they were informed with no replacements. That is a safety concern and something that should be monitored often and they should have replacements on hand. I never see anyone fixing weights and plates to be in the correct place and find them laying everywhere. It looks bad.

Positive experience: Gym’s great. Complete equipment and spacious. Some of the staff are great, some are . But the one thing that bugs me the most is the shower!!! IT IS PIPINGGGGG HOT! No knobs to adjust the temp and it’s the same on all 3 showers! What a way to get 2nd degree burn!

Negative experience: Scanned card, door wouldn’t budge. Wouldn’t let me scan again for 30 minutes. This was during unstaffed hours so I had no way to get in and had to leave. Waste of time and gas.

Positive experience: Awesome gym, vast improvement over their Bunting location. They have showers, and water fountains now. They also have more strength training equipment, just know that if something is out of order they're very slow to fix it, be prepared for certain equipment to be out of order for weeks some of the time. Other than that it's far better than the previous location on Bunting.

Positive experience: yes it’s a decent size gym but the equipment, specifically the leg curl/extension machines are all out of order. The leg curl machine I was attempting to use was clearly broken but there was no sign saying not to use it. 3 out of 7 of the TVs are completely static and just pixels. Also the change room walls are not clean

Positive experience: The space is great. I changed from pen center to this location because it is near to me, but the equipments are always out of service (not counting the walls too). Everyday there is one more out of service and some are like that for more than a month.

Fantastic experience: Lots of machines and the black card area is big!

Negative experience: There are dust bunnies everywhere , it’s a new facility the amount of dust and hair in the treadmills underneath all the equipment it’s dangerous and disgusting for people who train in here . How come management doesn’t have a vacuum ?

Positive experience: some machines tend to be out of service more frequently than others. otherwise, it’s a great gym and the staff is great.

Negative experience: Multiple issues with the staff and gym itself no respect, or decency. Do not attend this gym. They lie about memberships. And payments. Don't do it

Positive experience: First day back at the gym and more than half the machines I wanted to use are out of service.. it is spacious and cleaner than other locations

Fantastic experience: Fit4less is a great gym. The employees are all great and the gym itself is very well spaced so you don't feel crammed together while working out. Also there is a great selection of top quality workout equipment. Lastly they have the following perks if you get the black card. - Black card only area with more equipment and heavier weights. - Hydro Massage, Cryotherapy Massage and Massage Chairs. - Stand Up Tanning beds. - Share your card with someone when you're not using it.
