Great gym with a focus on athletes including powerlifters, cross fit and junior sports teams. Personal training available with a variety of specialized coaches too. Great spot. Very welcoming. Lots of space. Just love it.

Expérience fantastique: I joined this community looking for a space to share my love of fitness and was pleasantly surprised. The AK team has been fully supportive, encouraging and extremely understanding during these weird times. Location is a bit far for those who may live within Edmonton city limits, however, for me; I work in Nisku and it is a short 5 minute drive to the office. However, the 20 minute drive from South Edmonton is absolutely worth it. The space here is well fitted no matter if your style is cross fit, olympic or powerlifter. Even very well suited to the classic Bodybuilder and casual fitness enthusiast, with a range of members. The facility is impeccably cleaned, well laid out with an interesting range of equipment (even a huge turf mat and basketball area!). Full services (pre-covid) include meal prep, training, classes, tanning and even an on staff RMT. AK is a local business putting the Edmonton gym market to competition, they are worth the membership and fully worth checking out!

Expérience fantastique: I joined this gym about 10 days ago and i think it's the best gym that I've ever been to. It has a lot of specialized equipment specifically for performance that I have a hard time finding anywhere else like a sled push, chains for the bench press and heavy tires. The owner seems to really take pride in his gym and it shows. It's only been a week and a half here but I'm sold.

Expérience fantastique: AK Performance has all you’d need in a gym, although their collection of equipment is somewhat eclectic. A large number of their machines are from UFC Gym when it closed down, there’s quite a bit of Tydax equipment (yay, local!), and there’s a wide range of other brands as well. Their rates and hours are hard to compete with, although the drive might be a bit out of the way, seeing as the nearest residential neighbourhoods are pretty far away. In addition, if you’re someone who enjoys symmetry and matching equipment, you’re not going to find that here. Overall, my experience was really positive. The owner (and his dog) greeted me as I came in, and gave me a tour and told me a bit about the gym. It was evident that he was quite proud of the gym, and I find it super admirable when an owner is not only on the floor, but can whole-heartedly speak positively about their space.

Expérience fantastique: Ive been going here for nearly a year now. It's great with a lot of variety in equipment and styles of training. Not super busy like other gyms which is really nice!
