Fantastic experience: My son was new to Impact House League last year and I was beyond blown away by the facility! The coaches were great and the facility was well kept and clean. This year he is playing for the Rep team and being new to all of this I had a few questions...when I emailed, Imad himself responded and walked me though everything! There is something that can be said about an owner who answers client emails! Absolutely amazing! After experiencing other leagues I couldn't imagine going back! I'm shocked to see any bad reviews for Impact! If you're a parent who is on the fence...jump off and sign your kid up! You won't be disappointed! Even the quality of the gear is above and beyond any other league we've experienced!

Negative experience: Worst facility I’ve played at by far. Court was terrible and slippery in the summer and almost impossible to safely play basketball on. Would never recommend this place to anyone if I could give 0 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: I started doing impact basketball 2 years ago. And I have noticed a very big change in my basketball skills. When I first started impact I wasn’t very good but all of the drills, scrimmaging, games etc have made me improve drastically. The basketball hoops are very high quality and the court floors are clean. Every season you are provided with a jersey with a number on the back, shorts and a pair of white adidas socks. The jersey and the shorts are very comfortable and good quality, I would highly recommend impact to anyone new to basketball

Fantastic experience: I'm editing my review as I was able to speak with Imad shortly after writing the review. While I went into the conversation very hot headed and angry, Imad was able to turn the conversation into something positive. Despite my hostility, he was respectful and kind and was able to work out with me a great alternative solution to what had happened. I commend Imad for not becoming as irate as I was and for being able to maintain such professionalism throughout. Something that's not that easy. I look forward to working through the inconvenience and hope to have a much better experience moving forward.

Fantastic experience: We've been part of Impact for 2 years now and are very happy with Imad and the organization he has built. Whether you are part of house league or a rep team his dedication to helping players be their very best is at the heart of his organization. Open gym has been a great extension too. It's a perfect place for players to use the gym to improve their skills and also join in on some scrimmage games. I would highly recommend it. We have been impressed with Imad and his staff. We are proud to be part of the Impact family!

Fantastic experience: Having used the services of Impact Training Centre for years, I can confidently say it is an absolute haven for basketball enthusiasts. The state-of-the-art and very clean facilities include regulation courts, half courts, and specialized skill training areas, perfect for training camps, league games, and tournaments. What truly sets Impact Training Centre apart is the caliber of their coaches, who bring experience from playing and coaching at high school, college, and professional levels. Their dedication to helping each player reach their maximum potential creates an atmosphere of fierce competition and dedicated training. A special shoutout to the owner, Imad Qawash, who is incredibly professional and exceptional in his dealings with everyone at the Impact Training Centre. Fantastic experience: We recently hosted our Century 21 Heritage House Ltd. Charity Basketball Tournment at this facility. We were very impressed with the overall professionalism, cleanliness and level of detail this centre offers. Imad was fantastic to work with, he was open to hear all of our ideas (anything to help for charity he said) and communication was top notch. Things definetly ran smoothly. We're hoping to host our tournament at Impact again next year. Thanks Imad and team!

Negative experience: Poorly run league. Half the coaches teach aggression and the 5 foul rule isn't used during games. Players can continually foul and push other players and never be removed. Claims they split teams based on skills assessment but also not true, they are split by names. Players don't receive all of the items promised such as socks and water bottle. Don't waste your money on this league

Impact Training Centre
Impact Training Centre

Hello Kris, I am sorry your son is having a difficult time in houseleague. We do have official refs who make sure players are controlled and we have official rosters from start of our league that are followed. Most if not all players received adidas socks, if you have no please contact our email address. The 8 weeks of development, coaching and gameplay is most important. We appreciate your feedback. We also don’t have any record of your name and registeration in our system.

Negative experience: I am another parent who experienced the same issues with Impact in regards to the U16 Impact Rep team this year. Our kids put in 9 months of hard work, fully expecting to go to the Ontario Cup which was hosted in KW by the way. Our contract with Impact included the fees for the playoffs but as the pervious poster said we were not signed up for it. We paid our fees in September but multiple teams were never registered and the fees not paid to the OBA. The Owner never reached out to any of the parents to tell us. We were informed by other teams that we had played against during the OBL. I called you personally Imad the night we found out, you never returned my call. We asked multiple times to meet with you so you could explain what happened and you never did. You finally sent out an email saying it was the OBAs fault not yours. It was then a game of he said, he said. In the end it doesn't matter who's fault it was, our kids are the one to pay the price of clerical errors or just bad business practices on your part. Giving us a $71 refund means nothing. It's the disappointment that your club caused all these kids that is the main issue. Not once have you apologized to us as parents but most importantly you never stepped up and apologized to the kids for what happened. My son has played in your house league many times and almost every time he's been signed up he's not gotten all the gear promised when we paid. No Water bottles, socks, wrong sized uniforms, only half a uniform. It's sad that we just got used to it and even came to expect it. We gave you multiple chances to see if it would improve but what went on with the Rep teams is a disgrace. You will never get another penny of our money and I hope others see these reviews and don't subject their kids to the same heartbreak our kids went through with your club. Thanks Imad If you paid the fees, we would have been registered seems pretty simple. My husband wasn't coaching for you or Impact. He was helping our coach and team it had absolutely nothing to do with you. When we had concerns I called you and got no response. We asked for gym time to make up for some of this, you wanted to give us times that did't work for us as a group. Yes you offered to put us in tournaments in the middle of the summer, those tournaments where all out of town where we then would incur more expenses. The Ontario Cup was played in our home town, where our kids would have had tremendous support from family and friends. And the gear I was speaking about was for house league not Rep. Although he did get the wrong size shorts at the beginning and had to get them switched. I have every right to voice my disappointment and displeasure with what happened, everything isnt OK just because of a crappy refund. Wow Imad you are now threatening a child. That's pretty low. I recieved an email after my first review that states " I assure you, you have ruined things for your son, I will be sure to point out my experiences with you as our coaches and organization to all organizations in the region and all coaches at every level:)" end quote You are a gem Imad Edit Not sure why this review is no longer showing up on website but I never approved its removal

Thanks for the feedback Leanne. All fees were paid to OBA, please understand facts before going online and bashing a program that you chose to sign up for multiple times and your husband was proudly trying to coach for. It is as simple as administrative error on both sides. Parents were refunded what they paid and we honored everything we promised to our players. At NO point during the season did you bring up ANY concerns. We can appreciate not being able to play in the end of the season OBA Cup tournament , however, Impact offered every player to continue with the team for extra training and a couple More tournaments, which parents including yourself turned down. We wish you nothing but the best! All hear by your son received was worn proudly every practice and you received EXACT sizing. I can appreciate your take but at some point you have to move forward.

Negative experience: I'm leaving this review to help parents in the community understand what they are getting into with Kitchener Impact. Go in with your eyes open. Positives. First, it's nice for teams to have a dedicated facility to practice in, though this is less of a benefit than in the past, as other clubs have no problem booking schools and other courts these days. Second, their coaching staff seem decent, though the other clubs in the region have great coaches too. They run a decent house league, but warn your kids ahead of time to be wary of high pressure sales pitches during gym time. Negatives: They often overbook the facility, leaving teams to either share courts or having to look for external venues for regular practices. Two courts aren’t enough with so many teams signed up. There isn't much space for spectators. Their 2 single person washrooms are entirely inadequate for hosting games. Impact claims to have staff to help with team needs but they are unable to handle even the most basic parts of team administration. By far, this is the most expensive rep club in the region. They charge hundreds of dollars more each season. I understand that Impact is the only fully for-profit club in the region and I don't begrudge the business owner the need to make a dollar. But, one could easily argue that a not-for-profit will put the athletes first and every dollar in fees goes to benefit the players, while a for-profit might naturally have other priorities. My personal nitpick, the gear provided to the players seems like dollar store quality, to me. Much lower quality than what the NFP’s provide. If you are going to charge top of the line fees, you should be offering unquestionably top of the line product or service, not the same or less. The real complaints: Promises and commitments made seem to have little weight at Impact. After breaking their word, the usual response is "well, I gave you a refund so no harm", but that is a copout. A refund doesn't make up for overcommitting and under delivering. Many families signing up for rep teams thought they would be entered into multiple leagues, only to find out afterwards that the commas or slashes in communications were to be interpreted as "or" not "and". I would advise ALL parents to get everything in writing from Impact before paying a cent. Finally, for the 2024 OBL season, multiple Impact teams were excluded from the OBL Ontario Cup, hosted in KW this year for U16 Boys. This is the capper to the season and is advertised as a part of joining the Impact rep teams. Impact seems not to have properly registered these teams, seems to have waited until past the deadline to investigate and did not ever notify players, parents or coaches about the problem. Other local clubs alerted the teams a couple weeks before the tournament that they were not scheduled for the tournament. The teams worked all season, for 8-9 months, all towards the goal of seeing where they stand compared to their peers, only to have it ripped away without any notice or consideration from Impact. There was never any communication from Impact to the players that the teams were excluded. None. I don't care if it was negligence or carelessness or incompetence or a problem with OBA, someone with any character would immediately contact players/families and explain the situation or even apologize. But not here. If families knew there was even a slight chance that they would screwup like this, few would have paid the Impact premium. In summary, Impact runs a decent practice/training facility/house league, but they seem entirely unready to manage rep teams. Maybe in a few years they will gain experience/maturity and better understand the process and administrative requirements for managing rep teams in league play. Players and families should not be paying for their growing pains and learning experiences. Check the OBL website to find other rep clubs in the region, all with stellar reputations. I’d actually like to see the OBA revoke their ability to register teams for OBL play until they prove they are capable.

We understand your frustration as parent being left off provincials due to an administrative error by the OBA. However, we have spoken to you about this multiple times and have rectified and solved the issue by giving a refund. All above is false and you have never attended our hosueleague once. We don't appreciate the feedback on coaches collectively. If you are not happy with Impact, we encourage to you find a better fit. Thank you for your feedback. As far as gear and equipment, we order fully Adidas gear packages, I don't think the "dollar store" sells any Adidas product in your complaint. You are focused and 100% nitpicking here and we can appreciate constructive feedback but this is head towards a just an angry person that chose to let frustration out on a keyboard. Have you approached Impact about these concerns at any point during the year? In another comment you complain that Impact does practice at other venues if needed or should , then make a fuss and a complaint that they do when every organization does. There are other for profit organizations in the region and non for profit. The coaching and skill development is important and not about just the "swag."

Negative experience: Terrible place for a tournament. 2 courts, side by side, with no barriers. Balls were bouncing into the other court and referees whistles very confusing for the players.

Impact Training Centre
Impact Training Centre

Hey Scooter, thanks for the review. Respectfully, we have a divider that is used for rentals and any tournaments. It is up to the renter or tournament organizer to utilize this, I would suggest speaking to the Brodie League director and “tournament organizer” to better utilize our facilities divider so that was balls and whistles don’t effect the game. Appreciate the feedback.

Negative experience: Fraudulent owner.. please look at the other reviews of this owner. Today, we drove my girl to Impact after signing her up for girls Grade7/8 Girls Valour League today from 3-5 and were told by shocked to find out the owner cancelled the league without contacting any parents or refunding their money for the league. He claimed that there wasn’t enough girls to sign up. We witnessed over 15 girls come to gym to be told it was cancelled due to lack of numbers. Very strange, but if that was the case why didn’t you contact the parents who paid you and let us know? Read the reviews carefully, this man constantly takes $ from people and doesn’t honour it and then cancels last minute and doesn’t communicate it to the parents. It’s funny how he couldn’t communicate cancellation of girls valour league at all but had no problem posting on social media all day long for upcoming programs .. Disgusting practices! Also, he just tried to tell a parent she signed up for a boys league.. NO ACCOUNTABILITY at all! 15 girls didn’t sign up for a boys league. Nice try! The man lacks any ability to be accountable and apologetic

Hello Chris, thanks for your reply, our courts have been measured at the length of a high school Gym. We do have portable and official goals which reduce the baseline space as they do not hang from a ceiling. As far as parking, we do have across the street available for parking as well on weekends, which helps alleviate the concern you have. Thank you for your feedback.

Negative experience: We tried tried this company originally for a camp for my 13 yo son. We completely understood when he did not receive his personalized jersey because of a snow storm. But when we hadn't received it by the end of camp, we emailed them. Horribly rude customer service and only ended up receiving a blank jersey. When we signed up for a 13 wk league, they were overbooked, resulting in limited playtime and coaches were often seen on their phones or chatting. For the cost, we expected much more.

Negative experience: facility is dirty and floors are not cleaned, offen slippery. if someone gets hurt they lack the appropriate first aid equipment and no staff even bother to check on you. ambulance and paramedics come and no staff even bother to check on you or anything. Our son had to call us and my wife had to call 911, the staff wouldn’t even do that. To respond to your incorrect response below. i never raised my voice, (we have 5-10 eye witnesses that will confirm my story). There was no first aid trained staff on site and nobody supervising a group of minors playing in open gym. My sons friends had to drag him off of the floor and nobody provided any attention at all, even while waiting for the ambulance which again my wife had to call when she showed up after my son had to call her, again as no staff came to aid my son. for the pictures below i have several of the dirt tracked from the baseline into the key as well as several witnesses who will state that the floor has not been cleaned prior to or during the open gym and that the gym floor was slippery. please refrain from trying to gaslight me or make light of this situation and please clean up your business to avoid others from getting injured.

Hello Charles, we understand you involved in an incident where your son got hurt in a basketball play, we are very sorry to hear that. We assure you, our staff is first aid trained and not only that, we are constantly sweeping our floors along with taken the atmost care of our facility. We understand frustration and emotions are high but we ask you kindly to also not yell at staff members as accidents do happen. We wish your son a speedy recovery! *Also the pictures you have taken are outside our playing surface and no players participate on a baseline of the court* this also caused by members coming in OUTSIDE the court which is normal in any facility.

Negative experience: I'm only giving this 1 star because zero is not available. I contacted the owner (Imad) to ask about having a child's birthday party there. He assured me they do this often and that he would personally be available to act as a coach for the kids. 2 days before the party I emailed him just to confirm the details of the party and he informed me that he had double booked us and cancelled our booking. He knew about the double booking for A MONTH and he didn't even bother to contact me to tell me so. He showed no consideration for the fact that he was cancelling a young child's birthday party at the very last minute. When I asked what would have happened if we had shown up on the day of the party he informed me that Impact is a private facility and he wouldn't let us in. He was rude and unapologetic and took no responsibility for his poor business practice. I say poor business practice because this was obviously no mistake. Regardless of how he markets himself as a coach he does not seem to care about kids based on this experience. Just look at his responses to previous bad reviews to see what I mean about his record of double booking, not taking responsibility, and rudeness. Imad - I don't know what you mean by fair warning as there were no clauses or stipulations when I paid for the event. A refund (to the wrong email address, I might add) hardly "resolves" the issue. Further, I believe that you didn't tell me about the cancellation so that I wouldn't also cancel my fall registration. "Conveniently" for you the refund window for that was over by 1 DAY the day I emailed you to confirm and you left us hanging. I believe this is dishonest business practice.

Thanks, we fully refunded your fee before party got started, we also gave you fair warning that all programming takes place first. We appreciate your interest, Thank you for your review - Imad

Fantastic experience: We feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered Kitchener Impact Academy for our sons' basketball journey. This league is a shining example of professionalism, organization, and talent. Imad and his team have undoubtedly set the bar high, making them stand out as the absolute best. Our eldest son's growth in skill and passion for basketball has been remarkable under the guidance of Impact Academy. His success has sparked a similar enthusiasm in his younger brother, who eagerly looks forward to following in his footsteps. Being a part of Impact Academy is truly an honor, and we're grateful for the exceptional experience it offers.

Negative experience: Not for beginners. I enrolled my daughter who is a beginner to the sport in the girls valour spring league. When registering they stated they would be divided by skill and experience level. This is not the case at all. She was put in with some girls her level and some that definitely had a lot more experience. They were doing drills by week two that were confusing and more advanced that even as a parent I found it hard to understand what the coaches wanted. As a beginner she is looking for positioning and shooting. During game time the more experienced girls did not want to pass to the less experienced and the coaches did not take the time to explain to the less experienced kids what they needed to do to be in better positions. The coaches were not helpful during a game to increase the skill level and instead just became about trying to win. Also, you should not advertise that it’s a Powerade sponsored event when they received Powerade once and never even received the water bottle they were to get and no they don’t get customized uniforms. The experience for my daughter was extremely discouraging.

Impact Training Centre
Impact Training Centre

Hello Mandy, thank you for your comments and concerns. We did not receive any conversations or warnings about your concerns as a coaching staff, we would have definitely tried to listen to your concerns and implements. However, we did stress to all players to play as a team. We cannot force players to pass to a particular player because they are not “getting the ball.” As a staff, this is completely unbecoming in coaching and not the right things to do in development, there are many ways to affect the game without always having to score the basketball. Please re-iterate this statement to your daughter in her basketball journey. As far as Powerade, in your comments you did not mention the Powerade towel, squeeze bottle that was given to your child and all the players at our sessions. Our job is provide samples of the actual product and we did this and also provided the swag along with it. The uniforms are customized, with numbers and the logos for this particular league you are in, we are confused by the comments, did you mean last name on jersey as well? We do have other beginners in our league who have been thriving, it seems most of the comments here are not anything to do with the skill development and actual gameplay that has went on for 9 weeks. I appreciate the comments and we would love to have an actual conversation about your concerns but we had no idea this was a concern of yours until the last week of this league.

Fantastic experience: Impact has the best training facilities especially the quality on its basketball courts. I could say this is one of the best within KW. They also have an excellent basketball program that is not only associated with the skill development, but they put the vision combined with their talent that initially could build the sportsmanship mentality in the real game and career to whoever would expanding their basketball’s level.

Negative experience: My daughter played here for a tournament. Very limited parking. Narrow sidelines, and staff not courteous. Only one single bathroom to accommodate hundreds of people.

Matthew Wilson 2 years ago

Positive experience: The facility seems to be a good facility for sports training. Unfortunately, I was there for an OBA weekend, and this facility does not meet any of my expectations for a game day facility. The basketball courts are about 4 feet apart and pose a threat to the athletes and referees. The noise levels are beyond acceptable, I had to go next door and buy earplugs from Princess Auto. Parking onsight is terrible and not set up for large events. The washrooms are disgusting with only one room for both men and women. The day I was there, they were not properly maintained as well, with urine all over the floor and walls of the men's room. I will give the facility a three because it is well thought out for sports training, but honestly, I would give it a zero for hosting organized sports.

Mike Selliah 2 years ago

Negative experience: Might be a decent option for younger kids to play games at, definitely not for high school aged athletes. Also, there NEEDS to be a divider between the courts, it's crazy that a ball can easily come over to your court mid-game. We played in a U17 tournament that was supposed to have shot clocks, all U17 games are to be played with a shot clock, it is a NECESSITY. My understanding is that there wasn't enough staff present to actually run the shot clock. So they had working shot clocks available, just nobody to run them?! Driving all the way there to play in a one day tournament with no shot clocks was a complete waste of time. You need to do better...

Hey Mike, Thanks for your reply, we had issues with shot clocks and therefore, did not require staff members to operate the shot clocks. We have now repaired them. Thank you again for your opinion and good luck the rest of the season. Congratulations on winning the tournament!

Fantastic experience: The experience my son has had with the Top 40 Basketball camps he participated in, under Imad Qahwash's leadership were amazing. Imad demonstrated not only an advanced level of skill development in Basketball, he also emphasized the value and importance of sportsmanship ethics. I read a statement that defines, the experience Imad brings to the game of basketball. It states, "The GOAL in Sportsmanship, is not simply to win, but to pursue victory with honor by giving one's best effort!" Imad truly seen the value in building the personal honor and character of the players. He was approachable, and result oriented, when approached. Although it has been acouple years since my son participated in the Top 40 Basketball Camp..I believe it is a MEMORY he will cherish for years to come. As a parent, I was as interested in watching, as though I was the one, on the court. Top 40 Basketball Camp brought the skills & the value of games to a different level. A Memorable Experience that we feel fortunate to be part of!

Fantastic experience: My son has been going to Impact Training Centre for 6 months now, he has taken part in the Spring Valour League, Summer Camps and takes part in the open gym times. The facility is clean, and the two full size FIBA courts are immaculate. The Owner (Imad), Staff and Coaches at Impact are exceptional, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and push the players to strive to their full potential. My son enjoys going to Impact and has developed new friendships there. We are thankful to have such an amazing basketball facility to train at in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

Negative experience: Was able to attend an event called "Top 40". This wasn't what I expected when my nephew called me to attend. I have been in the basketball world for 20 years and it seemed it was just a pick up game. I was able to connect with some Laurier players I knew but even they seemed bored. The programs from what I understand are all the same. Same jerseys same branding same ownership. I hope there would be some diversity. It was apparent after day 1 that this wasn't the best top 40 players in the region as I know 20 players who weren't invited. Also it was easy to see who was gifted to be there vs paid to be there. Big skill disparity usually shows this off. Imad has been part of the game a long time and isn't the easiest to deal with so I know he will try to get better. I can't see this being so profitable in the long run with programs using Rim Park's new flex pricing and the school board approving permits.

Thank you Sammy for your comments, we appreciate your feedback! I think you are VERY confused, it is Top 40 for junior players in the region not seniors included. Please try to read itinerary, which we had readily available for all spectators :)

Positive experience: I signed my 2 boys up for basketball, after they had shown interest, but having not really played before. At the time, the choice of leagues to register with was very limited due to the closure of numerous leagues that rely on school gym rentals (which were temporarily suspended due to covid restrictions). I'll start by saying that the facility, the coaches and the overall experience in the Valour league was top notch. The league seemed disorganized at times, but these things can be easily forgiven, considering the hectic nature of organizing hundreds of kids. When we signed up for the league, they had advertised custom jerseys with their last name on the back, socks, shorts, and powerade at every game. The jersey didn't have their name on it, never did receive socks, the shorts needed to be hemmed by my wife because even though she ordered a S all they had left was a LG. I think they got powerade at one game. The problem was, the kids were excited about these things because they had read the advertisement online. When my wife approached the owner he explained that last year the process of the customized jerseys was a fiasco and they weren't doing that anymore. She emailed a couple weeks ago to voice the same concerns I just listed and the owner, although responsive, remembers things differently and is insistent that these things were followed through on. I personally was present every step of the way and can confirm all of my wife's observations about the things that were promised and not delivered on. The bottom line is, and if I may make a suggestion to the owner, the league itself along with the facility and coaches are the strongest elements of your business, and make for a great basketball experience, and would keep people coming back. Why not just focus on strengthening that and leave out all the promotional gifts and overpromising. At the end of the day it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

Fantastic experience: Imad Qahwash is a very busy man, creating and developing programs so children can have the opportunity to develop their skills and play the game they love. Imad needs to be recognized for his efforts in trying to bring one of his programs to a rural community in another province. However, due to no fault of his own, he was unable to due to Covid. Since day one of signing my son up for his program via his website, he has taken the time to make my son feel like a priority and communicate with me personally. Mr. Qahwash is trustworthy and is a man of his word, and since the program has not been able to take place, Imad has personally refunded my payment in full. Mr. Qahwash - Best of luck in all your future endeavours and I have no doubt you will be successful in sharing your talents and changing the lives of children, for the better, for many years to come. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Impact Training was Waterloo United's second home on Saturday nights over the winter months. We embraced the facility and truly enjoyed every minute be able to launch our very first Futsal League at Impact. There was always enough parking, bathrooms were clean, and we were always welcomed with a smile by Osama. The gym floor was always top notch, and Imad truly supported our program from day 1 ! We were able to store our equipment and he always accommodated us in every way possible even providing stop clocks for our league. Parents were able to spectate and athletes had enough space to play, fill up water bottles and be in a safe/clean environment. You will not be disappointed by the quality of the facility, nor disappointed by what Imad does for you as clients, athletes, and spectators!

I see a huge difference in my sons basketball skills and understanding of the game since he has begun at impact. I encourage anyone looking to use their facility, to do so and you won’t be disappointed.

Rob Conley 3 years ago

Positive experience: Seems decent for small groups but absolutely not suited for tournaments. Not enough parking, not enough washrooms, lobby area and hallway leading to the courts is very small. There is also the issue of there being no divider between the courts which seems like only a matter of time until someone gets hurt by tripping over a ball that finds its way over from the other court.

Impact Training Centre
Impact Training Centre

Hello Rob, Thank you for your comment. As you know with many many spectators and players coming through our facility it is important more then ever to have traffic control in our hallway leading to the gym. with winter here, we have asked all parents, players to take off outdoor footwear, which causes some unfortunate troubles for traffic as well. We have run many successful and charity tournaments in our facility where this is not an issue due to footwear being allowed on. We appreciate your comment on the divider, which is on our list and currently working through :) In all tournaments we have had, we have never ran into this issue. Thank you again!

Negative experience: The owner/manager of the facility would not provide a tournament refund after a tournament was cancelled. Very shady business practices. Stay away from this place if you can. It is my understanding that the OBA had to step in and deal with the situation. Another greedy owner. As per your response, you failed to follow the policies and procedures in hosting an OBA event and specifically did not follow the seven day refund rule. You cancelled the tournament on Jan 15th and then decided to reschedule the event after COVID restrictions were lifted. You chose a date that did not work for this team and they have every right to a refund. In the future, kindly state the facts when responding.

Impact Training Centre
Impact Training Centre

Not shady at all Tom, your group did not obey our policies and your club has spoken to my staff and myself in a negative condescending manner with no consideration of pandemic in mind. The TOURNAMENT was NEVER cancelled and in-fact rescheduled where ALL teams adjusted except your Brantford CYO group. Thank you and good luck!

Fantastic experience: In the past 35 years I've played, coached and refereed the game basketball in the KW region and I can say that Impact is hands down the premier basketball facility we have had thus far. The facility is first class from top to bottom and I would recommend not only basketball players but all athletes to take advantage of this training centre to develop their game.

Fantastic experience: Impact is a great facility for basketball, and working out. It’s absolutely amazing inside. They just reverently did the courts too and it is phenomenal. The owner of the facility is also a very nice guy and very trustworthy. I definitely recommend getting a membership here.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, modern, well lit and well maintained training facility. A great place to train for basketball individually or in smaller groups. It has brand new very clean "sticky" hardwood flooring and regulation hoops. The parking lot can fill up quickly if there are larger events being held, but that shouldn't deter anyone from the actual facilities amenities & experience. My son continues to train there today and really enjoys it. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Impact Training is AWESOME! My son has been attending the Sunday morning league and has had a wonderful experience. Imad and his team have done a fantastic job of teaching skills and pushing kids to reach their potential in a positive and energetic way! Could not recommend Impact more highly to the basketball families in our area. Way to go Imad!

Fantastic experience: My children have been attending the basketball camps coordinated by Imad over several years but these have always taken place at different facilities. I was excited to see Imad open up the Impact Training Centre. The facility is clean with high quality courts. I know it has been especially challenging to operate ANY business during Covid, but particularly organized sports. Our children are passionate about basketball and I have been so thankful for Impact in our community. Imad and his staff have provided my children with the ability to play a sport they love, safely maintain a physical activity during a pandemic, improve their skills and most importantly have fun! Thank you Impact and the entire team!
