Negative experience: Looks like a nice gym from the outside, but they want $20 for a one time pass to try out the gym, or you have to wait for their once a month free trial day, your schedule be dammed. $20 for one day, or $26 for the month. I guess they don't want new business that bad. Very disappointed.

Positive experience: “This gym was great when I first started, but unfortunately, it’s become way too crowded, and I now prefer driving to another Fit4Less location for a better workout experience. It’s a good, smaller gym with all the equipment you need—if you can catch it at the right time!”

Negative experience: This is regarding the brazen scam and fraud that is going on in your Fit4Less located in Kitchener Webber Street. I called twice to confirm before canceling membership and I was told by their associates that the annual fees had not come out and I will not be charged post checking the system. In addition, even the day annual fee was deducted the associate confirmed that I should not be charged and it will be refunded. But then I get email from the store manager Sydney V that it will not be refunded. This is unacceptable and the annual fee should be refunded asap. There is no point cheating customers and not honoring what was communicated by your own employees.

Positive experience: It's a good gym for the most part, it has the equipment you need for a good workout. Simple and basic but good. It's not bad for a cheaper gym. However, you guys need to do something about the washrooms. I understand they definitely need to be cleaned , I know you guys have a schedule and everything. But you guys keep it closed for way too long. 45min to an hour is unacceptable, especially when it's the ONLY washroom. You guys need to find a better system....especially when the gym is busier and people need to use the washroom!

Negative experience: This is not acceptable. On 11th Aug 2024, when I raised my cancellation request with fit4less person, he clearly told me that your annual fees will not be deducted and only two payments will be deducted from your account, one on Aug 25th and other on Sep 8th. However, yesterday my annual fees was deducted from my account. When I raised my concern with the manager, Sydney, she responded me with this message ‘ Unfortunately, because you cancelled on the day the annual fee was already being withdrawn, we cannot issue a refund. I apologize for this inconvenience, however, members are expected to cancel before their annual fee comes out, as this is Fit4less' business model. If you have any more questions please let me know.’ I would request you to look into this issue and refund my wrongly deducted annual fees. It’s unfair.

Negative experience: I visited on Sunday morning & the guy wearing glasses was working at the front was very rude to me & his behaviour was extremely terrible. I will never go there & that guy needs professional & proper training. He should know how to talk with their members & should be transparent without giving any false information. Never recommend & don’t waste your time going there who doesn’t respect their members.

Negative experience: It's frustrating that Fit4Less doesn't provide massage chairs in Kitchener, especially at night, while they do offer them in Waterloo. This discrepancy in amenities between locations can be particularly inconvenient for members who expect consistent services regardless of the time of day.

Negative experience: Probably the worst fit4less in KW and surrounding areas. Very small compared to most, and the black card area is very small as well. Gets very busy given the size. I’d almost always choose to make the drive to Northfield over going to this one.

Positive experience: I'm giving this gym a 3 out of 5 stars, and for good reason. It's a bit on the small side and can get fairly busy so sometimes it's hard to get a good workout in, especially when you have a specific routine and some dude be doing more of a finger workout on his phone than a chest workout lol. There also isn't enough cables in this gym cause I'm always like "where can I get a cable around here, there's not enough channels on cable". Not to mention that there's almost always at least 1 cable machine under maintenance which is understandable because they're flimsy little buggers that people ego lift on and slam the weights, but I digress. Here are my suggestions for this gym to be better: - Get Kettlebells - Maybe another leg machine (like a hack squat) - Reduce the amount of ellipticals (too many for not enough use imo) - If possible, another pec deck machine - I know this won't happen but I think there's way too much lockers with the amount of change rooms there is lol, like why is there like 100 lockers and only 2 shoebox size changerooms? Needs more change rooms but ya, if you guys have the budget it would be very nice to have these suggestions put in place. Probably won't because I'm not Theodore Roosevelt Jr or anything lmao.

Negative experience: To start, a large percentage of the treadmills don't work at all, no signage on most. Various machines around are also down for maintenance. The place is busier than I've seen other facilities and also machines are dirtier. The selection of equipment could be better... I guess beggars can't be choosers for one of the only locations in the area. I will definitely choose to frequent other facilities as a black card holder and limit my visits here when I can.

Negative experience: Pretty ghetto gym tbh. There's always 2 or more machines broken The black card massage chairs/beds are out in the open and not in there own separate room The 1/2 of the rotating entrance doors has been out of service for the past month lol. The staff are rarely seen and hardly refill the paper towel and cleaning solution. It's common to see the people here not wiping down there machines after using them, not to mention not washing there hands after using the bathroom. Wouldn't recommend this gym but it's the closest one to me.

Negative experience: It’s good gym but the problem is if you have black card it’s not gonna benefit you the way expect. Because the some things like steam, massagers you can only use when staff is there. Staff is hardly present over there for 11am - 4 pm. So, not beneficial for people who are working in mornings. So, I would suggest regular membership but not the black card. Or they should increase their staff hours.

Positive experience: Good: * Open 24x7 * Decent variety of equipment * Good price Bad: * Lacks cleanliness * One or the other machine is always broken. Since there are only 1 machine for each type (mostly), you have to find some alternatives for your exercise if it's broken *Black Card is not that useful : black card workout area is pretty small, you cannot use shower if it is unstaffed (in the morning they arrive at 7 so it is pretty much useless if you have to workout and leave for work before that)

Positive experience: Just so everyone knows, they have already added water fountain at the gym so that's a plus. Only problem is they need to add 1-2 more machines which are always occupied. Chest fly, benches, etc are 9/10 times occupied. Also, one chest press machine isn't fixed for months

Negative experience: I would like to give 0 star because management of this gym is literally worst class. They will not take any action if you have any kind of complaint because I tried to get help through social channels and gym staff but still I didn’t get any solutions from them. In the end , I had to cancel my membership. I will not recommend this gym to anybody.

Negative experience: There no water no fountain for members and you must pay monthly membership on top of your actual membership to be able to drink water. There’s no specific black card area and there’s only two shoe box size change room and that’s it. gym is small and lots of broken equipments this gym is a mess don’t waste your time.

Negative experience: Hello My name is Ishan and i have an experience from yesterday morning that i would like to share. As a long-time gym-goer, I have always considered the gym to be my sanctuary - a place where I can work on my physical health and document my progress. However, my recent experience at Fit4Less left me feeling anything but empowered. During a recent workout, I attempted to record myself, as I have done in countless other public gyms without issue. However, to my surprise, I was informed by staff that I could not do so. Despite my efforts to explain that I was not monetizing my content and had no ill intent, the staff would not budge. At such point i even offered to share the footage with the staff to show entire footage was focused solely on my self. I was made to feel like a criminal simply for trying to document my workout. To make matters worse, the way in which the matter was handled the situation was incredibly unprofessional. I was humiliated and made to feel inferior, despite being a loyal customer who had motivated multiple people to join Fit4Less. As a result of this experience, my respect for Fit4Less has been shattered. I do not believe that any customer should be made to feel inferior or be denied their basic rights in a public gym. It is disappointing to see that Fit4Less values their own policies over the well-being and satisfaction of their customers. Additionally, after my negative experience at Fit4Less, I voluntarily chose to cancel my membership. I cannot in good conscience support a gym that treats its customers with such disrespect and disregard for their basic rights. Overall, I am deeply disappointed in my experience at Fit4Less. Their handling of the situation was unprofessional and left me feeling demoralized. I hope that Fit4Less takes steps to improve their customer service and ensure that no other customers are subjected to similar mistreatment.

Positive experience: Love this place, but for some reason maintenance takes forever. Pec fly machine has been down for over 2 weeks now. They only have one. Other than that great gym good location, friendly staff and, clean all around. Love the 24 hour access.

Negative experience: The shower water is very hot. It has been one year I’ve been complaining and I’m not the only one. They don’t care to fix it! No option for cold or hot water it just too hot. I dare they take shower themselves. If showers come with the gym it must be useful else what’s the point. Is it a trick tbey play to make members not take shower?!

Negative experience: They literally don't even have a water fountain. Like WHAT?! Numerous times i have had to go to the bathroom and drink out of the tap. Blows my mind how cheap they are. A water fountain costs 1 to 2000 not more

Positive experience: It’s a discount lifting spot, so I didn’t expect anything too great, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve gone to this location in the early morning, mid-afternoon, and late evening - never an issue with the free weights, machines, or cardio space. This location can get busy and buzzing, but it isn’t the end of the world. It’s also dirt cheap to be a member - yay!

Positive experience: This is a BUDGET gym, it will never be as nice as the more expensive Goodlife around the corner. (Fit4Less is owned by Goodlife) If you take weightlifting seriously, this is not the gym for you. There is no proper squat rack, no designated deadlift area, no barbell shoulder press station, and the dumbbells do not go as heavy as other gyms. The smith machine squat rack might be the worst piece of equipment I've ever used...That being said, if you are new/returning to weightlifting, or are more interested in cardio, this gym is a decent cheap option with a good location. Just bring a full water bottle, as there is no water fountain and the vending machine has been out of service for >2 years. As for the complaints about staff, I have never had an issue with an individual staff member. Sometimes they're cleaning when you would like something from the front desk but that is hardly their fault.

Positive experience: An okay gym for beginners and those who are not familiar with equipment. Not a fairly large gym but i’m still able to get my workout in. No black room for black card holders, no water fountain, no squat racks and the studio room is sad.

Negative experience: I would not like to give bad reviews, but this is my first bad review in my life to this gym. I would prefer to all not join this gym, because there are lot of other gym where you get respected. I will cancel my membership and will go further to complaint that guys. I had very bad experience during my first day of joining. The guys who was there like racist. We ask them to help instead of helping us they was just going in and out to waste time. Then after wasting time they told us they have finished their shift and will not help us. They was very rude, like they don’t want us in there gym. It’s ok if this gym not belong to us then give us our money back, we will join other gym.

Negative experience: I will give 0 star rating if there is such option , got new membership and ask staff to help me out for the membership card and they said you are late and we are closed for the day and shut their fukinn computers before 10 also locked accidentally outside and staff refused entry these guys are so unprofessional and girl over there also refusing to other fellow…i will not recommend to get membership ,,try other gyms

Negative experience: Well the staff was really rude they don’t care about the customer’s concern even after requesting he refused to help I think they should learn how to treat people before doing anything No personal grudge just writing whatsoever happened

Fantastic experience: Really cheap, open 24h and not full of people that take steroids and have muscles the size of watermelons. Normal people exercise here

Negative experience: I have many bad experience with this gym but I have tried to avoid giving bad review but it's high time now. I've been going to this gym regularly for more than two years now. First thing, the staff is extremely unprofessional and specially the manager is very very rude. I am pretty sure, top management doesn't care about the reviews or the problems their clients are facing with the staff. The manager, she is so rude without any reason, she is racist and she has zero sense how to deal with gym members too. Recently, within the span of 10 days gym was closed 3 times without any sort of notice. This gym is claiming to be open 24/7, are you serious? I am used to go pretty early in the morning and imagine you wake up so early to work out at 6 am in the morning and gym is closed! I was so frustrated that when it happened second time, I called them and the staff told me that gym was closed for two days for maintenance. I didn't see any kind of notice in the gym too. What era are they living in? Can't you guys send an email to the members for gym closures?!!! You can send email for price hikes and annual membership fee charges but can't send an email for gym closures. Just imagine how it can spoil your schedule for whole day. I let it go and didn't complaint. But again today I went for work out in the morning and gym doors were locked. Just imagine how frustrating this can be!!!! And maintenance is a joke in this gym. Rubber grips are torn off from handles and cables sticks in mid-way when you pull them. Machines are not clean and you will find dirt on them. Plus they charge you for annual cleaning fee. Extremely disappointed with this location and staff. Not deserve even one star.

Positive experience: Nice quiet gym if you go at the right time. Limited equipment. No squat racks just smith machines. No water fountain. Also tried to bring a friend for a day and it costs $16 which is more than a monthly pass.

Fantastic experience: 3.4 Really?? This gym has been such a huge asset in my life not only for sweating but the people that have worked here in the last year (well what we could use) have been nothing but nice and have put up with a lot of road blocks and dealt with the public they were the faces after everyone was so angry at the government. These people held it together and handled some out of control in a better manor then I would. Anyways I’m just here because I love this place and want to thank them for everything they’ve done for me in the last year and a half. Their smiles them socializing with us means a lot when they have no idea what’s going on in our daily lives. Thank you for being you and providing me with some sort of sanity in working out in my bad days!!! You people are all 5 stars in my !!!!

Positive experience: It’s an alright gym lots of cardio equipment. But To many dudes with friends hogging the free weight area not even lifting so there isn’t enough room to use the weights, so you have to wait until these guys are done having family gatherings to even be able to use the weights. Some machines are broken and the water vendor has been broken ever since I’ve started working out here. Gym kinda needs to get their stuff in order.

Negative experience: Ayo, the manager, can’t believe her customer service skills!!! Zero manners to talk to the members! I don’t know if she hated her job or the whole world!! Please don’t come to the work if you don’t like it. Don’t come snapping on the customers. Politeness is the basic thing we learn. Leave your anger issues at home!! NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THAT KIND OF ATTITUDE!!

Positive experience: Some of the equipments are missing like if I talk about the dumbbells, after 5 kg they have 10 kg then 15 kg. But they should have 7.5 and 12.5 kg dumbbells also because it helps in drop down sets. Few rods are also missing but my overall experience is good. I have really like the vibe and enjoyed my workout there.

Negative experience: Just called to sign up and ask a few questions about membership, whoever was on the phone a few minutes ago was very rude answering my questions, I asked to speak to someone else since she seemed annoyed answering a new customers questions and she said no one else was there....I will be creating a membership somewhere else.

Positive experience: Love the place...big enough to get a good workout....but small enough that it's more personable....has been extremely busy with new year's resolution people...so kinda crowded if you can't adapt your workout...but what gym isn't these days...they have a yanga flavoured vitamin water machine $4 every 2 weeks..unlimited refills...if you go lots it's worth it....

Positive experience: Kind of useless staff. They require covid Vax proof every single time... for members with accounts that's super annoying. The machines are slow to service when not working. But the atmosphere is chill, no annoying "gym rats". Overall cheap, close place to get a basic work out.

Negative experience: Normally it's all good. The morning staff are friendly and it's not overly crowded in the mornings. But lately their opener has either been sleeping at the front desk or just straight up doesn't show up to open the gym. Happened this morning we show up with 10 other people waiting and by 6:30AM no one had shown up.

Negative experience: I visited Webber Street Unit today at 4pm with my wife and had very bed impression. The attendant was very rude and unpolite just because we made questions comparing Fit4less plan with other gyms. The worst thing was when we said we needed to take a look around the gym, I have my car license but my wife doesn't have it and forgot her ohip at home, for this reason she was prohibited to walk inside the gym. It doesn't make sense, we'll never come back to this gym

Negative experience: - Limited equipment - No water fountains (bring your own filled water bottles) - Small lockers—it can barely fit a gym bag If you know a better Fit4less location that doesn’t have those issues, go to that instead of this place.

Negative experience: Very bad customer experience. I have been with this gym for a period of 2 years now. I changed my place and went to this location from one in erb street. I forgot my membership card and I was ok to show them my membership number. Lady working this morning has a very bad attitude. Everyone has a bad day but its not good when you take it out on your customer. She just told me you cannot workout here because my address is not updated. I was ok to update my address and when I told her you are not talking in a nice way she replied ,” i really don’t need this attitude in the morning”. I came out without working out and on that she said well it’s up to you. I am cancelling my membership just because of this lady. There are other gyms where you can get nice customer experience. I was entering with all the proof because I knew I forgot my card. It felt really bad and went home without working out. Management has to look on this. This is a place for working out, doesn’t look good if customer goes out without doing exercise. No wonder there are so many bad reviews.

Positive experience: Great gym, on the smaller side but the price is right. Like any gym if you go between 4-7pm it will be difficult to find your own space to lift free weights and with COVID every other cardio machine is roped off. Friendly staff, very clean! If they added WIFI for their members I could give it another star!

Negative experience: The gym only has one sanitizer bottle in side maybe two . There's 2 or 3 sanitizer bottles to spray machines so people are not cleaning the equipment when there finished. The manager and the staff are incredibly rude. If you had a customer service issue don't bother bringing it up to the manager they will tell you your wrong even if they weren't there to acescess the suitation themself.she cut me off on the phone wouldn't let me finish a sentence. Go to crunch it's down the road it's the same price and the customer service there is outstanding. .
