Fantastic experience: Many options to pick for Kids. Swimming lessons have been fantastic, kids are learning fast as well.

Positive experience: Not very helpful. Asked about Senior price for drop in swimming what I was told its expensive for senior budget

Negative experience: This review is only for swimming lessons. It's a joke. 30 minute lessons with little to no instruction. Teachers talk to each other and kids float around. Very little skill development

Positive experience: The students take most of everything here. If possible go to another location.

Positive experience: We love this gym! I enjoy the aquafit and mindfulness classes and working out in other parts of the gym! My husband and I have been coming since March, but beware of thieves. Someone took it upon themselves yesterday to soak my towel for absolutely no reason and steal my toiletries out of the shower area, during the time I was in the pool. I’m so disappointed that anyone would stoop that low. Most of the ladies put their towels and products in the shower area during aquafit, and as far as I know, no one has had a problem, but I’m pretty mystified this happened. It’s sad that you need to lock up your towel and shampoo, which means coming into a locker room wet which makes the floor wet. I’ve always felt this gym was a safe space, and now I’m annoyed that I can’t easily access my towel out of the pool or worry the same thing won’t happen. Never in my 15 years of going to gyms has something like this happened.

Fantastic experience: Coordination here is everything. Instructors are kind, professional, and helpful. Pictures are not allowed inside the building.

Negative experience: I wish i had a negative star for them...worst people to come accross, i called them to tell them that my son and i were not well at all and were tested positive with covid in a home test due to which its not appropriate to send my child and risk other kids....so the person i spoke to was super rude obviously when u ask for a redund. ....and even the facilty was really not clean and unhygienic due to which my son got sick.....worst people

Fantastic experience: The pool was good overall

Positive experience: It was a good place overall. The Y had a yoga gym with not many weights but made-up for it in the upstairs gym it had good machines,treadmills and weights. The pool was good but the only reason I put a 4 star is because the hot tub stunk and was pretty gross. But it's a good place to hang out and get fit.

Fantastic experience: I go here everyday and I highly suggest working out then hitting the hot tub or steam room after, it feels so good, just trust me

Ми відвідували сімейний басейн ( 1 мілкий теплий басейн, 1 басейн з помірним наростанням глибини, джакузі, сауна та приладдя для басейну).Не вистачає гірок . Рушники можна орендувати, або принести свої. Є шкафчики для особистих речей та роздягальні. Також в комплексі є спортзал, дитяча кімната, заняття йогою, фітнесом, плаванням( перелік не повний, більше інформації на сайті). Ззовні літом волейбол, зимою хокей та катки.

Positive experience: This place is great but they could offer more fitness classes. I wish they could keep the land fitness classes with the weight training instead of only offering them on the weekend. The sculpt and triple sets are a great way to burn off any extra energy left after zumba.

Negative experience: Don’t go to this branch if you are looking to be treated with any respect or kindness. Worst customer service ever !

Negative experience: What the worst experience in this particular place. The life guard on the evening on March 29 was so rude. my child had no freedom to swim. Every thing she did is a crime, don't do this don't do that I try to observe the way she treated the others so I got that was part of racism. so disappointed.

Fantastic experience: A was traveling for work and I stopped to train here. Friendly staff, e.g. when I asked if they had lockers someone from the front kindly desk gave me a tour of the facility. Thanks for having me. I love the YMCA and how I can drop-in when I travel across Canada.

Negative experience: I went with my family to aquatic center in this branch and sadly we didn't enjoy our time.. the aquatic was very cold which affected the main pool temperature, it was very cold I tried to keep my self in the water to get used to it but my body was shaking too much, so I went to the kids pool to warm my self up.. I asked them to trun off the AC but they said thay can't control it.

Fantastic experience: Great fitness facility with a wide range of activities for people of all ages. Offers affordable memberships along with drop in. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Steam room is always down, showers and the facilities are always dirty, staff never knows when the gymnasium is open, I know people who got kicked out because the staff doesn't like them.

Negative experience: Staff is very rude ,swimming instructors have no experience, teach very slow , a lady have no sense to speak when I try to sit in Hot tub with my daughter she yell with very rude tone of voice. Very disappointed

I bet any of the bosses of this facility are partying somewhere mask less! I just cant support these hypocrisy anymore. Im taking my business somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: Been going for years will continue going even though it is a more geared to families. But good weight room downstairs even if your serious lifter .... Patricia no longer harasses people .

Negative experience: We called to register our kids for swimming well in advance. They told us even though I wouldn’t get my vaccine card on time I would be allowed to drop off my kids. I went there with them for the lesson and they told us we were not allowed without a QR code . Called in the next day to see if they would apologize for not keeping their word and let our kids recover the missed lesson but there was absolutely no consideration. The guy on the phone told me it was on us that our kids missed the lesson . Tried to reach the manager, left a voice message. Tried reaching the director, left a voice message. None of them called back of course. We’ve been paying membership for a while already and still dealing with horrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: I am giving this place 5 stars regardless of what I say cause I like the place, but I warn you when I say be careful going, I was their on Monday and saw atleast 5 people their take off their mask for atleast 5 mins, this one person was in a bike a machine and had it off the whole time if you can't workout under the conditions required dont go, stop making things worse for everyone else, and if no one tells them anything then they will be known as the place that lets people not wear masks. Help yourself by helping everyone else and WEAR YOUR MASK AT ALL TIMES LIKE THEY TELL YOU.

I had no prior experience going into Swimming, but the excellent teaching made me adapt very quick to the water, and overall, I’m a lot better now thanks to the YMCA

Fantastic experience: Great family plans and classes for kids. They have great adult classes, workout options and child care. I love the staff they are so friendly. The only thing I think needs improvement is playstructure supervision. My 4 year old daughter got badly injured going down the enclosed slide, 2 older boys 10+ were climbing up. They really should have someone supervising at busy times. I know it is the responsibility of the parents to watch their own children. Quite a few parents don't. Some of the older unsupervised kids aren't following the rules, knocking over smaller children over, climbing up slides while kids are going down, climbing over and under the netting and getting under the areas where they shouldn't be. At the moment there are 3 Children not wearing socks. Really it is dangerous, there should be at least one person supervising when it is busy

Negative experience: I signed a contract in which days the membership fee was supposed to be withdrawn from my account. After 2 months they started taking funds out 3 times a month not twice. After my child’s swim lessons were over...I canceled the membership then!!! They still took funds out. I even put stop payments on my cheque! My bank told me places like this scam all the time it’s such a low amount no one notices. And to boot the bathroom in Change room was dirty the showers were to. Horrible seating to watch your children swim. Beware!!!

Fantastic experience: This is my family’s favourite Y in the city. We live in the middle of The Elmwood and Fermor YMCA’s. We always seem to pick this one. The parking is horrible, but it’s a busy area. The pool area is always spotless, and the workout area are never too crowded. Our children love the pool. There is a family pool that is much warmer than the average indoor swimming pool. The steam room was a nice surprise! There is a small indoor play structure which is perfect for little ones. All of the staff seem very friendly! As well, the children’s day care for 5 and under is fantastic!

Fantastic experience: We did a free one day trial to check it out... Now thinking of getting a membership. They have a warm children's pool, which my 5 year old loved!

Fantastic experience: Clean place. Nice staff. My kids and I enjoy the swimming programs and the instructors are great with the kids! The main Pool is a little cool for the children. The "family/kid" pool is nice. It is warm and not to deep. Just deep enough the kids get a solid swimming feeling, but the floor is close enough that they feel safe. The play structure (climby tower-as per my kids) is in good shape. Lots of fun structures in the tower. Good benches for the parents, water fountains are close. They have hand sanitizer for the kids. And they sell kids socks if you for get your. All in all a fun place. There are usually groups of teenagers playing sports, people in group workouts, and gym peeps lifting weight and cardio. All shapes and sizes.

Positive experience: Been going here for years, It's got everything you need. Can be packed at times but it's easy for me not to go at primetimes. Only complaint there's no shower curtains for the mens showers but there is for the women which is a little strange if you ask me. The steam room is the best part of this YMCA, got most of the essentials for weight lifting and plenty cardio equipment.
