Expérience fantastique: Tried the 1 day free trial and really loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean. There are lots of options for equipment. It wasn't too busy and I was never waiting for a machine. I love the atmosphere and all the signage around the gym. Really judgment free zone. Everyone is just there to do their work out.

Expérience fantastique: Best first impression I've had of a gym/business in a very long time. Planet Fitness had a bad rep in my mind, but that's gone now. Dude at the front desk clearly cares about people, and loves his job but not in an annoying way haha. 2 random guys started up conversations with me out of the blue and were genuinely friendly. Never seen that at a gym. Ever. Great culture. Great environment.

Expérience fantastique: It feels like family. I have no interest in "juice monkeys" hogging equipment, gym snobbery, or staff that don't care. Luckily, you won't find that at PF Leduc. STAFF: First off, the staff is the main reason I come back. They care, will do whatever they can to help, and are not in a hurry. They are happy to stand and talk and get to know people. They know my name and the things that matter to me. I know so many of them. I really appreciate people like Jason and his heart for why he works there. ATMOSPHERE: All types of people there, from newbies to hardcore, yet everyone is respectful and considerate. I've never had issues with anyone - if anything, I've made new friends. The place is spacious, ridiculously clean, and inviting. It's definitely one of my happy places. EQUIPMENT: Well maintained equipment, and lots to choose from. I personally love the "30 minute workout" area with the green light / red light setup. So self motivating! PRICE: The most affordable option you'll find. AMENITIES: Massage chairs, hydro beds, tanning beds... it's nice to be pampered!

Expérience fantastique: This gym has a fantastic atmosphere and a great staff that makes every visit enjoyable. The layout is convenient, but I wish everyone would wipe down machines more and limit themselves to one at busy times. Overall, a wonderful place to work out, highly recommend!

Expérience négative: Been going here 2 years or more. The staff is always changing. Just got back from being away and the new staff is very rude. Had a couple minutes to close and they were flickering the lights nonstop; then laughing about it.

Expérience fantastique: The Leduc location is very well kept, clean and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and uplifting. I always have a pleasant experience when I walk in the door. I also enjoy how tanning is included with the black card membership.

Expérience fantastique: Staff are extremely friendly and funny, the gym is always super clean and one of my favourite gyms that I’ve gone to yet.

Expérience fantastique: The staff are always friendly and helpful, the parking is great and of course the planet fitness standard of cleanliness and tidiness is great. I have personally been to 2 PF’s in alberta and one in. Idaho, and the standard is the same.

Expérience positive: I wish there were more mirrors by the cables, and that the smith machines did not share mirrors with the dumbbell area. I wish there was less judgement for all - including body builders - the signage is condescending to those in the lifestyle. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The tanning beds and massage areas are well-maintained and the wait times are short. There is plenty of equipment, but the cables can be very busy as there is only one set. The core/stretching area is great and well-equipped.

Expérience positive: Alright little gym except they NEVER change their tanning bulbs even though they’re super busy beds. I was so busy over Christmas that I didn’t tan for 4 months. Went twice in a week for maximum time this last week (one was a standup) and ZERO color. Absolutely nothing! When asked why they don’t change the bulbs regularly we were told management doesn’t want the hassle of disposing the old bulbs. We pay extra for the specific benefit of tanning. This is just poor customer service. Don’t charge people if you don’t want to provide the service they pay for.

Expérience fantastique: Well we'll start with the staff. They used to be mediocre, but they've really upgraded and now they are all super friendly, helpful and attentive. Jason especially, goes over and above to remember your name and greet you every single morning. He makes it feel very welcoming and he even calls you out if you've been slacking! Haha. The place is always very clean, and I would say the other members are very friendly and non judgemental. If you're just starting or scared of going to the gym, I would definitely recommend this place! They also have other amenities like tanning and massage chairs. You really can't beat it for the price. Love this gym!

Expérience positive: This is an alright place to kill some time. Place is clean, not run down, friendly community. Prices from their website, you're looking at $15 per month for a basic plan, or $30 for the premium membership. They do a month to month plan with no commitment, as well

Expérience fantastique: I coke here for early morning workouts every now and then with a homie of mine. Complements to the staff for being ultra friendly first thing in the morning every time I have come in. All the equipment is in great shape also. Never had any problems hoping on machines early in the morning also, maybe different later in the day. For sure cardio and machine oriented heavily at this gym and that’s great. The pressing looks like it’s all don’t on smith machines and I believe there is 3 of them. All located at the back corner with the dumbbells and other flat benches.

I was, however, a little sad that the “sign a friend up deal” doesn’t work if they don’t sign up with a credit card. But not a deal breaker. The gym is clean, multiple machines, cleaning stations all over, and the black card spa is such a bonus!! Looking forward to the promo of teenagers using the gym for the summer as well - my teenager is quite excited lol Thank you Planet Fitness Leduc! Keep being awesome

I'm enjoying the extra benefits of the Total Body Enhancement, the tanning with red light therapy, and both the massage chair and hydromassager. They give me extra motivation to get to the gym so I can pamper my tired muscles and give myself a reward for showing up!

Expérience négative: I'm a black card member and I love planet fitness I go in south common and leduc. Comfortable atmosphere if you're anxious about going to the gym. Very positive no one judges. HOWEVER leduc planet fitness lacks equipment, space, and actual gym equipment. I can't do weighted dips, preacher curls with a free bar, and they don't have free Olympic bars.

Expérience positive: Very good value for the variety of equipment. Ample parking and the massage beds are a great touch. It’s always very clean. The only thing I don’t like is that they close early on the weekends. Also, the south edmonton location has heated hydro massage. This location doesn’t have heating on. I’m 99% it’s just a setting and they don’t have it turned on.

Expérience fantastique: Over the last 12 yrs I have been to many private/rec gym's and Planet Fitness is by far the best experience I've had. I feel quite comfortable working out, I don't feel like I am being judged by others (even the staff) or stared for other reasons. The staff is very friendly and kind. I really appreciate that they hire people of different nationalities and body sizes. I believe that really supports Planet Fitness' Core Values; A comfortable, diverse, judgment free zone. I am very grateful for the membership prices they offer. With the current state of our economy I am still able to afford to get back in shape and stay healthy.

The only complaint I have is in evening the gym gets loud with younger meat heads who are very dramatic while they work out. NOW it is one of planet fitness statement that people like this are not allowed however the girl staff just giggle and don't do anything. Just standing there having girl talk

Expérience fantastique: I'm super pleased with this location. I love the layout of the gym although it's a smaller gym I still enjoy only going to this location because it's better driving time. I'm loving all the natural sunlight that comes in. I've been here in morning and afternoons usually never to crowded especially if you come in the morning.

Wasn't busy when I was there but I suspect it it get busy, it'd fill up fast -No Crossfit section (something I don't use myself) Possibly my fave location of the few dozens I've been to all over North America :)

Expérience négative: This is the Third time I’ve called and received attitude from staff. First one hung up on me and my fiancé when we were trying to ask a question about personal belongings and now it’s just all attitude.

Expérience positive: Lots of equipment, large facility. Tanning beds and massage chairs are a plus. Very disappointing that dumbbells only go upto 75 lbs and no mirrors by the cable machine. So hard to watch your form with no mirrors.

Expérience négative: Mostly machines. Very little free weights and only 1 pull up station. 1 star rating because I was trying out the place with a free day pass and, less than 5 minutes into my stepmill cardio, I was told I couldn't be on the machine barefoot due to "safety reasons." I have no issues with dress codes but I didn't bring gym shoes because nowhere on the website or posted in the building does it require shoes. I have slip on shoes for moving about the gym but I've been training barefoot for years. Seems like an okay place for an easy workout but I wouldn't recommend it for any serious training. Edit: In response to the reply from the owner, here's the dress code copied from the website: We’re all for people expressing themselves, but do ask that clothing that may be perceived as intimidating, revealing, or offensive not be worn in the club. We also do not allow clothing that may present safety hazards or damage equipment. Examples of clothing that is not allowed include: Open-toed shoes or sandals Mud-caked, greasy, or soiled shoes or clothing Jeans or pants with prominent grommets Clothing with messaging that a reasonable person may find offensive or otherwise inappropriate
