City of Peterborough arenas and community centres, including information on public skating, arena uses, ice and floor rentals, banquet facilities and other uses

The City of Peterborough operates three arenas with a total of five ice pads, including the Peterborough Memorial Centre – our community's Major Sport and Events Facility.

The time frames in the tables below will be compulsory when forwarding ice allocation requests to the Facility Booking Office. All dates in the tables below are prior to the beginning of each season.

Note: General Public Availability is the date that all remaining ice and floor time can be booked. All user groups and organizations will have their facility booking contracts complete.

Pre-registration is required for these skates. Skaters can pre-register online or in person at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre at 775 Brealey Dr. 

Through our instructional skate programs, you can learn how to skate, power skate or play hockey. If you are looking for a way to meet new friends, join our recreational adult hockey league! 

The City of Peterborough is a great place to host a wide range of indoor and outdoor events. This includes events such as farmer's markets, trade shows, weddings, banquets, conferences, yard sales, celebrations and other special occasions.

Healthy Planet Arena features the Leon's Peterborough Pad, the Freedom Mobile Pad, the media box, and a banquet facility that are available for rental.

The centre reflects our community's rich tradition of sport, fitness and recreation – with a goal of promoting a healthier lifestyle for all. The 5,000-square-foot banquet facility and adjoining ice surfaces complement each other for the benefit of our community. It can be used for small meetings, weddings, receptions, or anniversaries as well as serving as a main location for seminars, conferences, trade shows, product shows, concerts and cultural activities.

Arena Division Customer Service is closed for in-person service, and staff continue to work remotely.
