Negative experience: You get what you pay for. The gym is filthy, the garbages are overflowing, half of the paper towel dispensers are always empty. Multiple machines are broken that seem to never get fixed. The staff don’t seem to do anything except sit in the office and chat. I have canceled my membership, I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

Negative experience: The equipment here is awful in comparison to other locations. For example, I can use the Bilateral Curl machine at Centre and I can easily lift 100 LBbs. The machine is so bad at this location, I have to bump it down to 30 pounds. Yes....70 pound difference because of the shape of equipment. They layout is a little weird in comparison to other locations but nothing major. I'll visit here on my off days but mostly stick to Centre/Burlington location.

Positive experience: I have been a member at the fiesta mall fit4less for a number of years Recently I wanted to upgrade to a Black Card but the new computer system they put in made it very frustrating Peter( the club manager) went above and beyond with countless phone calls and emails He made it happen !! So thanks for that I have used other gyms since but I prefer my own gym in Stoney Creek It really is a good place to workout

Negative experience: I checked this location out on my way home from work since it's the closest location. They didn't even have a water fountain. What kind of gym doesn't provide a water fountain? Anyways, I will not be returning.

Negative experience: I used to enjoy going to this gym 4-5 years ago, and now it has gone downhill. Machines always seem broken or out of service, the gym is dirty, the customer service isn't great as they seem to hide away in the office, and honestly, people forget proper gym etiquette. I will be looking for another gym in the Hamilton area. I don't reccomend this gym.

Negative experience: Joined this gym since I am staying in the area temporarily. This was the most economical option and the state of the gym emphasizes its cheap price. There are many machines that are broken/scheduled for service. The equipment selection is also lacking. The only thing I can appreciate is how quiet it is when I go early in the morning. I’ll be happier when I’m back at my own gym.
Negative experience: Will go again because it’s the closest to my house, but what a dump. Cobwebs, garbage on the floor, cable machines all messed up and weights everywhere. Just a lil tidy and I’ll be happy to add some stars
Negative experience: The guy at front was very rude, very disrespectful while giving me a tour, show impatient, running fast all the time, leaving visitor way behind. Responded very rudely to all the questions. Came to sign up, but not wish to see his face before I start workout everyday.

Negative experience: Machine, bench, work area is all good, But staff is not friendly, I’m not saying every single boy or girl, I found just one guy, arrogant and disrespectful. I just told him about standing cycle’s loose seat in the corner area. But that’s okay whatever he said.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms for sure. There are a lot of workout options. Usually it’s pretty clean. People working there are always nice. The tanning option (for Black Card) is my favourite In the morning (9am - 10am) is not crowded at all. And don’t forget it’s open 24 hours

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym for my needs. Affordable with lots of workout options. Peter, the manager has made a huge difference in keeping the facility clean and stocking the cleaning stations! The guy is always visible and never stops cleaning! Hang on to him Fit4 Less! He is making a noticeable difference in the appearance and upkeep of the gym!

Positive experience: First off. No water fountain is present. Lockers are very small for storage. Black card area is a bit of a joke. The gym is very spacious and was clean besides the bathrooms. Some of the machines were missing carabiner.

Positive experience: A lot of broken machines
Positive experience: It's a little dirty, the people don't seem to have much gym etiquette, but I guess that's what you get for a discount gym. All in all, if you don't mind waiting an extra 30-40 minutes to get your workout done because people lack awareness and use the gym as a social space, then Fit for Less is for you. If you want to go to the gym, bang out your workout because you're an adult with a job? Maybe this might not be good for you. There isn't much difference between this one and the one on Barton either.
Negative experience: The Hamilton fit for less locations are extremely disappointing, there is very little access to management and when there is account issues it’s very difficult to resolve them. This location is usually busy in the evening, there is no water fountain at this location which is frustrating

Positive experience: I've enjoyed this location in the past but lately it has been very dirty. The change rooms have a heavy smell of urine... I'm guessing dirty mops from bathrooms are being used in the changerooms. I've only used the bathroom once as it was quite disgusting at night- the urinal looked as if it had not been cleaned in a month. It is also quite difficult to find paper towel dispensers that are full. The black card room is a closet compared to the Oakville location. Equipment is good but management should definitely take a look at what's going on with cleaning. A few years back there were two older people that were doing an absolutely fantastic job at night keeping the whole place clean and it was awesome. Haven't seen anyone around in the past year.

Negative experience: Decent gym, but suffers from severe lack of cleaning. Really irks me the company added an annual cleaning fee, and cleaning got worse. Eg, not uncommon to have to go to several paper towel dispensers before finding one that has anything in it. Today there are none anywhere in the back half or middle of the gym mid morning even though staff have been here for several hours

Negative experience: Does the staff even bother to do a hourly check of the towels or sanitizer bottles? Every time I come in half the paper towel dispensers are empty and the staff are too busy having social hour in the back room to bother checking. It shouldn't be the customers job to tell staff to do their job. If it wasn't for being around the corner form home I would have left the gym long ago.
Negative experience: Garbages full, equipment not maintained and zero staff presence at rush hour. Both staff sitting in the back office. Worst fit4less I've been to.

Fantastic experience: I’m a Goodlife member that used the gym this morning as a visitor. The staff were kind to me. I had a little trouble getting onto the incline bar bench, it was a busy bench, but the Smith machines and were available so I used those. I had a good experience and a good workout.

Positive experience: I joined this gym a year and a half ago. It has been a good experience until the last few months. Multiple pieces of core equipment(Lat pull/leg extension/hamstring curls) have been under maintenance for close to a month. This is not acceptable even if this is a "value" gym. This combined with a short list of inconsiderate members sitting on machines for 15+ minutes primarily playing on their devices creates long waits. I don't know what to suggest but these same comments seem to be common in other reviews. Management might want to step up and address them before they lose their long term members.
Fantastic experience: You get what you pay for. Lot's of machine's, missing one or two, sometimes machines are down for service, for a couple of weeks, before repaired. Friendly staff.

Negative experience: It’s been weeks and the same 3 machines I liked to use are still out of order. There’s not that much equipment so when machines break you’d expect them to be repaired in a reasonable time frame.
Negative experience: I joined a few months ago with the black card membership. Been mostly satisfied in the first couple of months but the last few weeks there are so many machines out of order! It's so frustrating to have to alter your whole flow because you can't get on a particular machine and if people pair up (or worse, a group of three friends) on a machine, you can wait 30 min plus for it. It's unacceptable. Thinking of changing gyms.

Positive experience: I'd give it a 5 star due to Mens bathrooms being dingy... on a Saturday morning, probably from a Friday night unstaffed. Very bright, large and spacious. Equipment seemed more than up to date. Yes. No showers but that would require major renovations and retrofitting. Meh... go home to shower.

Negative experience: You can’t beat the price but this particular location does always seem to have quite a few broken down machines which take a while to be fixed, and the customer service is atrocious. The staff are more interested in flirting/talking with friends than even acknowledging you with a smile when you walk in. Heaven forbid you need help with something, 90% of the staff need customer service skills practice.

I sighed up here 3 years ago and was promised that they were working on getting showers implemented. never happened some staff are rude all together the gym has a lot of false promises and a lot of machines breaking down that never get fixed.

Positive experience: I just have a little beef with the black card membership. If it's 24/7 and I'm paying for use of the extra amenities, then why can't I access it 24/7. This is an inconvenience. Unless I'm totally misunderstanding the staff when I had a small chat about how to use/start The chairs. If somebody could get back to me about this I would appreciate it. Thank you.
Positive experience: Fit4less is your basic gym membership without the frills. There are different franchises owned by different people who run them better or worse. For what you pay, they have a large base with most members not coming in and not cancelling because it’s so cheap. Regardless though they have some serious improvements they can make. The number of machines that are out of service is just awful here. The first treadmill when you come in has been broken for 3 weeks with no sign on it. This is just some of the images of the broken machines. Not to mention the lack of paper towels to clean the machines. You can’t rate a gym low if people who use the machines don’t wipe them down. That can happen at any gym. But here because the staff is so minimal it can be messy. To me this comes from greedy management who don’t do care about delivering a good experience. There is no point of having a black card at this gym. The people who use the gym are fine. It’s the same at every gym. You’ll always have a few odd balls which is normal. My suggestion to management is to review how you use your staff. I’d switch to crunch if it was nearby with better parking over this place. People come here because it’s cost effective. There is however some level of upkeep that management needs to do on there end. If you do go to the front to mention maintenance issues nothing really happens. Put a sign there if you’re lucky. Sometimes they have only 1 person working but at times up to 3 people. They could hire more mature adults to be there when the younger folks are not there. I have not been at the gym when it’s unstaffed. Overall I’d recommend this place but understand the issues at hand.
Positive experience: The gym is actually decent with a lot of equipment. However, there are too many people who go there to hang out and hog equipment. Also too many people would be taking extra long rest breaks on their cell phones. I know Crunch Fitness closed down and fit4less absorbed members from there and probably dealing with overflow from other gyms. If it was not for that. I would of gave this gym a lower rating. A really good gym at one time which is headed down the wayside at this rate.

Negative experience: I have a Black Card Membership and THERE IS NEVER ANY STAFF DURING STAFFED HOURS TO ALLOW ME ACCESS TO MY ADDITIONAL BENEFITS!! What is the point of having a Black Card if your staff just walks out the front door leaving the gym unattended during staffed hours. Don't believe me? check your cameras on Feb 1st 2023 at approx 220 pm. You lady working just walked out the front door. Two of us were waiting for tanning and hydro beds....both of us had to leave because she was gone quite a long time and we both have to go to work. THANKS FOR SUCKING
Negative experience: I'm usually here early in the morning. Today I came at 10pm and the place was filled with ignorant people. Not once did I see anyone wipe anything down. It's gross. D-bags gathered around machines yacking and playfighting or tryin to pick up the only female there . Just a pathetic bunch at this time of day.

Fantastic experience: I stopped gym membership since covid19 outbreak. Recently decided it was time to return. The gym is cleaned between scheduled appointments. The staff is diligent with information and policing time slots. I'm really impressed and glad to be back!
Fantastic experience: If you only wanna pay 12$ a month for a gym, you shouldn’t complain about anything especially not here. All the equipment is always working, plenty of choice in machines and there is tons of treadmills. Remember, this is goodlife’s cheap option of a gym. If you want all the extra stuff its gonna cost you like 60$+ a month at their main gyms. This fit4less for the price is definitely 5 stars ✅

Negative experience: I am long time member of this gym. Recently I replaced my fob as I thought it lost but once I get back to my car found the old fob, within 2 minutes I went back and explained I don’t need the replacement and ask for money back. They explained once you pay something money will never return. Then I said, if money Can't return then provide something so it offset monetary value, again refused. The employee talked to the manager and same reply. I am not concern about small $ here, I am just concern about businesses principle, I am concern about customer support / care. Gym itself okey as per your pay value but I am really frustrated how they treated me!

Negative experience: Just joined today for full year already paid. No info that only 2 sessions available in a week ( No info on website) and club is already booked for the next 2 days. Will be waking at 12 am To book a slot for Thursday. Plus if u wanna cancel no money back cause already paid for Whole year. Just learned even after 1 year u have to cancel through email that they do not even answer and u have to keep on paying for the membership ( check reviews).

Negative experience: The fiesta location is less than impressive.If you are looking for a dirty gym that looks like nobody takes care of it, this is the gym for you. Let's not even talk about equipment rarely being unracked or wiped down (if the location hasn't run out of paper towel). This is location is great if you have no real goals in getting in shape but you want to be able to tell your friends you go to the gym.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the recent conversation with the staff about canceling the membership. I have been a member for 2 years, and always paid up to date, even first year in advance. I wanted to cancel my membership when I heard gyms will open back up, cause I do not feel comfortable enough despite the efforts I am sure your clubs are taking. I emailed to cancel prior to the opening, and have still been charged for membership. Just phoned and was told that (my wife and I) cannot come into a location to cancel, rather we need to keep emailing and hopefully it will be seen. Meanwhile, we will still get charged for a service we do not want because your staff is unable to accommodate our request. I do not have time to continually email and hope that it is seen. You need a better process to this problem. Please reach out to me so I can process the cancellation.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to congratulate this location on a successful reopening. I was skeptical about how the experience would be, but I was impressed by their effective health and safety plan, and the persistence to make sure that everyone were following the newly established rules. Those that weren't, were quickly corrected by the staff. Yes, there will always be a risk but I was pretty frickin satisfied. Good stuff....

Positive experience: Up to the budget.... this gym is fine .... machines are ok .... but some need real mentenance
Negative experience: I have been a member for 2 years now but I have gound the last coue of months the gym was very dirty..many members nit cleaning the equipment after use..reamlt gross actually. Didn't see any cleaning staff for quite awhile and the staff that work there never clean. I noticed yesterday that they seem to be renovating tjus location? I'm hoping when utvreopens that they will have staff that take pride in the gym and keep it clean.. and when they see people not cleaning equipment before moving on to the next that they deal with it.
