Fantastic experience: Clean and honest location. Some peak hours aren’t even as busy as you might expect. I took the one-hour free session with a personal trainer, Jack, and he was fantastic. Really friendly guy and myself being a bigger person he took into account my physique, and created an in depth plan for me. When I started working out he immediately pointed out tight calves I do have which I wasn’t even aware of and have had constant issues with them in the past, then told me what exercises I should do to help them. Extremely knowledgeable and reliable. He’s also Irish so we bonded over some rugby!

Fantastic experience: i’m relatively new to goodlife. i started coming to this location about a week ago and so far i really like it! in my experience its always been relatively clean, i like the women’s only area as well! haven’t tried much of the amenities yet but so far i enjoy this gym and would recommend

Negative experience: SERIOUSLY. ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS STILL ONE OF THE LEG PRESS MACHINE IS NOT WORKING. ON WEEKENDS ITS HARD TO WORKOUT.

Negative experience: I would give them minus starts if possible, for a month I paid 50 dollars and did not use the gym, the next month I tried to cancel my membership and they literally are not letting me, it is so disgusting I have not used it even one day, man it us hard already to survive in this economy and this gym Is stilling my money. Negative experience: I usually leave 5 star reviews at GoodLife locations - because I have simply been in love with GoodLife in general, you can see my previous comments - but I’m sick and tired of this location. I don’t understand why I have to “beg for” a towel each time I walk in, even though I’m specifically paying for the plan that includes it. This is something that is automatic and default in all other locations. The young gentleman with long dyed hair at the reception is especially a customer service disaster about this towel issue. The maintenance here is a joke, sauna is almost always taken over by a stench. Special Note to GoodLife: Your apologies will not be accepted and I will not remove this comment under any circumstances.

Negative experience: Bring Back JUMP! Such a great thing for parents, increase the cost if you need to. Great for my child to experience a healthy lifestyle as well as socializing with other kids! Allows me to take my child and I can get a workout in. LOVED the ladies who ran JUMP! Pre Covid at this gym, a saving grace for a new Mom! Gym is great otherwise! Negative experience: I been trying not to comment but this is extreme i usually use this facility at night time now i am feeling unsafe to go there because the person who should be at the reception counter always not there i saw so many people entering the gym without scanning cards this is also safety concern what if someone enters with any kind of weapon can harm someone too very disappointing

Positive experience: I like this gym however today was the first day I almost got denied a towel. I come here multiple times a week. Spend a lot of money on a membership and yet apparently can’t get a towel?! Is GoodLife hurting that much that towels are a money saving area for the club? Definitely sends the wrong message to loyal club members Second point is it sucks when classes become in jeopardy of cancellation due to not seeing 15 people weekly. Yet the same people do come weekly. Weather patterns have an impact. Again this is a premium gym and we shouldn’t have to worry about paid for amenities leaving. At that point crunch fitness would be a better option

Positive experience: I do like this gym however I went on Saturday at 8pm only to find out they closed in 30 minutes, thank god I live close and was just doing a super quick cardio but like man 830 that’s really terrible I know hair salons open later!

Positive experience: Maintenance of machines are awful. Have reported same ones (4 of them), several times, for over two months and still nothing done to have them work properly. Staff is great though and they are very friendly (reason for three stars)

Fantastic experience: Nice gym with plenty of equipment. Note that this one does not have a swimming pool, but my wife tells me that there is a separate women section. The staff is very friendly.

Negative experience: This gym is fine, a normal gym. What’s NOT ok is the problem with their pre-pay system. Whatever you do don’t pre pay for a certain amount of time they WILL KEEP taking more money out of your account every two weeks no matter how much you pre pay. I pre-paid in June until the middle of August and thought everything was fine and good until a few weeks later I check my balance and found out they took $95 (two times $45) out of my checking account (ITS JULY NOT AUGUST YET why are they taking money out of my bank account since I prepaid? So like a normal person would I went to the gym and asked why they did this? The workers were of course clueless and one of the guys said “it must be a system error” and that he would leave a message for one of his managers, and that they would call me and let me know why and what happened. Four days later I get a call asking to explain the situation, which I did and again, and they said “I’ll call you back once I figure this out” (some woman on the phone). GUESS WHAT two weeks later NO CALL, and I went today to the gym to workout and APPARENTLY I owe them another $100 WHAT?! I PRE PAIDDD!!! No call back from this woman. And I can’t go to the gym apparently because I closed my bank account because they KEEP taking money. STILL NO EXPLANATION!!! This is messed up. All I wanted to do was get fit and as a broke student ended up going into debt thanks GoodLife!

Negative experience: Cant train here anymore, I have arthritis and the gym is very cold even in the winter they have air conditioning on. Not a gym where you can sweat. If you have arthritis or want to sweat when you train do not come here it’s very difficult to sweat with fans blowing cold air on you.

Positive experience: Love this gym! All staff are super friendly, equipment is nice and clean! Spacious environment! Only upsetting factor is they close early on the weekends at 8:30pm, and they are still considered a “24 hr Gym”. It would be great if they considered even closing later on the weekends such as 10:30pm as there are those who work on the weekends and don’t have much time to go after work when they close at 8:30.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic location, staff (specific call out to the weekday morning gals) are lovely people, constantly cleaning and making the members feel welcome. Equipment is in great shape, sometimes tough to get a squat rack but that's pretty normal outside the gargantuan locations. Change rooms are large and bright, lots of locker space and showers, sauna is full of old men complaining about their wives which is wildly entertaining! Plenty of functional water fountains with bottle fillers too. Weekday morning members seem to be a great bunch as well, all friendly faces, courteous people. I've been to many GoodLife locations, this is one of my favorites.

Positive experience: I like this location it’s the closest to my house. I use the women’s only section so I cannot comment on the main space but it’s always clean in the women’s only section. The staff are friendly. They have all the equipment I need. My only complaint is the hours are not fully back to 24 hours so there are times I have to go to another location instead of this one. I do wish they do go back to 24hours all the time but understand if they don’t.

Fantastic experience: This Goodlife is by far one of the best gyms I have been to. Equipment always clean and in good condition. Great clientele. The staff always so helpful and friendly. Lost my galaxy ear bud. I was pretty upset about it. Kathy had it turned into her and she put it in a safe place so when I came and asked if anyone had found it she had it tucked away for me. Kathy you made my Saturday.

Negative experience: Probably one of the worst gyms in Hamilton. Equipment is super dirty, organization is a mess, the lay out of the gym doesn’t make sense. Staff doesn’t look like they do much other than greet people in and say goodbye.

Positive experience: I’ve been going here since this location has opened. It’s an excellent gym, and excellent staff. However since the pandemic it is no longer open on stat holidays which is a huge pain. I don’t have a membership anywhere else, and telling me I can go to another location and pay 5$ isn’t a reasonable answer. Also, a steam room would be nice.

Fantastic experience: I went to finish my registration today first got greeted by some of the friendliest ladies. Than I had an appointment with Justin. He is FABULOUS!! Not only did he make me feel welcome, he listened to my LONG journey so far and made me feel like I was great. Not only great about myself and my journey but great to be there and taking the next step. As I had my tour he also showed so much kindness to the clients inside the club showing me that I will feel comfortable going to workout. I also met another kind employee named Kyle who I will be going into see for personal training. So far my experience was amazing!!!

Fantastic experience: For all of you people out there that believe that Crunch or ANY of these low quality a month gyms are in someways the only choice because of price has not used GoodLife(I completely understand the decision if you’re financially struggling clearly but I’m not rich and manage because health and fitness coupled with quality is next to none and Goodlife provides that). I went the route of on the cheap and the equipment, the staff(mostly adult children or actual immature children that have a “im a above this station attitude) work there, no knowledge base, very rude. At Goodlife it’s not faked, I have a lot of experience at the Queenston location, the Manager is long standing and very professional, the ppl hired are chosen because they’re professional and naturally warm ppl that love fitness. Negative experience: I wasn't happy at all with the system I have been told to go home this morning because supposedly I was on the waiting list some how. I booked a spot for all weekend and the site told me I was definitely in to go, and then you have to check to see if your in or not the waiting list all b.s seriously I'll spend my all weekend without working out or exercise and on top of that I have to paid them.

Positive experience: I understand covid times are tough and for the most part they have done a good job keeping a positive environment to come work out. The gym for me isn't just a physical training, its mental also. And the older lady with the long grey hair is awful. She's rude at the front desk. Doesn't look up to greet you. Asking for a tan is like a chore. She came into the women's to "clean things" and check supplies, and left the one paper towel roll empty. She didn't even check it. I hate writing negative reviews- but my last straw was when I pulled my mask down in the dressing room to take sips of my water after my work out. And she stared at me until I put it back on after drinking my water. Which i am allowed to do. Uncomfortable, awkward and uncalled for.

Fantastic experience: I've been to a lot of other GoodLife gyms so far in my new gym going experience and this is by far the best one. All the weights are where they're supposed to be. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. They are constantly cleaning. And Kyle has been a great personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: Great location; equipment and location is kept very clean; staff is very friendly and quick to respond. People are patient and smile when I pass gas on leg days. Just kidding :)

Fantastic experience: One of the best place to train and get fit. All members are so down to earth, always ready to help and walk you through. I’ve always been welcome with a smile and motivation to kill my work out. I do not regret at all my decision for choosing GoodLife. I also have a personal trainer (Eden), I would say she drives her passion as a personal trainer. After a month training with her now, I can definitely see so many changes in my body, my movements and energy level. I can’t wait to flaunt my summer body in 2021. GoodLife is the place for a life changer. It’s a lifetime investment that you’ll never ever regret about. If I can do it, anyone else can.
Fantastic experience: This is one of my favourite locations, the women’s section for free weights is a bit crowded but overall is still a very nice gym
Positive experience: Noisy noisy doors left open during cycle classes so distracting to work out Then the weight droppers just dropping from 4 feet that's noisy O don't forget everyone on their phone sitting on equipment 20 min And the gym bag reservation you sit your bag on equipment Then go work out on something else not letting anyone use it . . And don't forget bathingsuits are now worn in gym no pool but girls wearing them . . Seriously go for a hike

Fantastic experience: Like most people, I felt apprehensive and nervous about what my "new normal" would be and look like. I am blown away by how organized and clean this location is. During my workouts, I constantly see staff cleaning (equipment, doors/doorknobs, etc). The first time I went in when the gym reopened, I did find the weights section to be busy, but I think Goodlife staff have done an amazing job separating the equipment to ensure social distancing measures are being respected by members. If/when the Jump room reopens, I feel comfortable bringing my daughter back in knowing she will be safe. I am so happy with this location!
Fantastic experience: I LOVE this gym!!!! I have just started going back after a 6 month covid hiatus and I never realized how much I missed being there. It is BEYOND clean and the staff is working hard and diligently to ensure the safety of their gym goers!! They are always happy, professional and kind!! I applaud you guys and management for the stellar job you are doing!! I see the hard work you are putting in and I thank you!! <3

Negative experience: Hey second post about the TV channels for football. I did speak with a employee about the channels and she told me that the channel boxes are locked..... Can not be changed with someone unlocking it. She doesn't know who locked it or has the key.
