Negative experience: Went into this location as I signed up for a membership online and went to get my physical card. That went smoothly so I will give the company that. But the staff... I obviously had a question about the card and f that's all I had to do, I tested my card out on the scanner to see if it worked and this little short dude and woman walks to the desk with the most unimpressed faces and I was like "Hello! I have a question" he comes to the gates with the woman and with the rudest tone "Do you need HELP with something?" like it was an inconvenience.. I asked about the card being used at another locations and if that was all I needed to do at the kiosk and the way he was answering my questions like I'm suppose to know if that's it about the card.. I hope those aren't the only 2 working there because first impressions are usually important.

Negative experience: Thought I cancelled my membership over the phone while away with work, realize 1.5 months later I am still being charged. Go to the location am told it wasn't ever done and she will do it today. Actually cancelled it 3 days later. Then am told a ticket has been opened and they will look into it. No such thing was done. Fast forward another month still being charged. Block them at the bank and get a phone call they will take me to collections over the remaining balance... Ask to be called back by the regional manager who is supposively visiting calgary and am told oh yea she will call you around three "take my word for it"... Long story short don't bother with this place theydont care enough to do their jobs and will gladly come tinue to take your money even though you told them you want to cancel the account multiple times making up new even more lazy excuses each time.

Positive experience: It’s a great gym to join if you’re on a budget as the membership is very affordable. It’s fairly clean, good working equipment, and staff are friendly.

Negative experience: I recently joined this gym, and for the first week I liked it things were nice. The next week I started to notice many people staring at me, making me feel very uncomfortable. I would also like to address that there is a group of old men who come in and always try to come near me and touch me. Watch your cameras and ban people please!!!
Negative experience: The staff at this place have to be the worst of the worst. Any question you ask them you will get an “I don’t know” there is one machine for almost everything and if it is broken you will not be able to use it for another month atleast. There is one employee in specific, a short white male age 20-23 who I see picking on young people seeming to have a power trip. Moral of the story is staff only make this gym worse and the equipment is just horrible

Negative experience: Staff are pretty much useless, they don’t know anything about any of the machines. One of the employees is extremely disrespectful, I’m not sure of his name but he’s a short white kid, again extremely disrespectful and rude. I once saw him pick someone up who was working out because it was 9:30. Half of the machines have maintenance signs on them and take forever to get fixed. I understand this is a a budget gym but what am I even paying for at this point? You guys have closed the gym due to the water crisis without letting anybody know. Many people went and wasted their time due to the gym being closed.

Negative experience: One of your employees who was working today around 7.25PM, does not have sense how to talk with clients. I upgraded membership so that I can assess of all locations still they need more time to make it confirmed therefore customer care told me go to gym ask them that you will get confirmation tomorrow so that they’ll allow to use . But that lady had different tone and aggression. I’m wondering if fit for less is paying her for unprofessional service. All those negative reviews must be because of her.. of course people should not come to this location because of her unprofessional behaviour towards clients.

Negative experience: Terrible gym. I called to cancel my membership on Jan. 26/2024 and was told by the girl that was assisting me that my membership was canceled. Nearly two months later and payments are still being taken out of my account. Today, when I call to find what was going on and why I am still being charged, I was told that my membership is still active and it wasn't canceled. Absolute nonsense with this place smfh. As for the gym itself, unless you're planning on training late into the evening/early mornings don't waste your time because it's packed and you'll be standing around waiting for people to stop socializing or for them to get off their phones to use the equipment which there is a very limited selection of to begin with.

Negative experience: The employees there are very sensitive and stupid. All I did was talk about a TV show about Jeffery Dahmer and apparently that was enough to make one of the Employees there uncomfortable to ban me without even giving me a warning or anything even though I've been going to this location for 4 years straight. That's why you should never let a idiot manager have this much power working at this facility.

Negative experience: This facility is frustrating. I was informed that the owner hasn't recruited a management yet, thus there isn't one at all. They said that there was an issue with my bank. However, a woman who works there helped me last week to pay the amount owed and adjust the payment method. believed it to be resolved and workable. discovering that despite upgrading the payment process, the system remained unchanged. I was now pushed to purchase a new membership, which entails paying the initial cost. The worker even claim that this occurs frequently. Why not make this ridiculous method better? Is this some kind of scam to force people to keep making more payments? I only started last month, and now I must pay again as a brand-new member? Thank you, but no.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Lots of equipment and great location. Usually I can only do weekday evenings (which can be busy at the gym) and after a stressful day at work, I really only feel like working out and going straight home. But nina is always such a smiling face to greet me when I walk in, and I feel welcomed every time I walk through the door. I always look forward to saying hi!

Fantastic experience: Great location as it is nearby home and work! I notice a staff member, I believe her name is Nina, I love how she maintains cleanliness and tidiness around the environment. Very outgoing and lovely girl! Always answers questions respectfully and makes every customer and passerby’s welcome and comfortable. I see her hard work in maintaining the safety and security of all machines and cleaning after people’s use of weights including the bathrooms. Fantastic experience: Have had a membership at this gym for over 6 years now, and I enjoy it much more then the Sunridge location because the staff are always on the ball and keep the gym clean, one of the workers Chey has always helped out more then expected. Also, The air conditioning in the summer is 10/10, only thing is the music sometimes reminds me of a grandparents playlist but hey way more good then bad.

Positive experience: I am a regular at this gym, and the staff and people are awesome at this location. My only complaint is that some of the equipment is aging and showing a lot of wear and tear. I would hope to see some of these items replaced or fixed in the near future. A water refilling station would also be a great addition!

Negative experience: There is no digital clock...if you need to time your rest between sets Mat area is in open space...so everyone takes their shoes on it and not a clean area for stretching No water fountain, just one washroom stall for men, no paper towel to clean your hands in washroom...just one air blower which is not hygenic There is always an equipment broken and it takes months for it to repair Most of the strength machines are out of alignment specially the Chest fly machine...one handle is higher than the other The machine where you signup/changes for membership is in public area and people coming in and out can see your banking information

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership two weeks ago, yet I was still charged today. Hard to cancel and no personal easily available in dealing with such issues. Each time i went to the gym, there were always a handful of machines out of order.

Fantastic experience: Decent equipment, good price per month, tanning and massage chairs/water bed available. A water fountain has been added, I'll no longer skip this location for the other.

Positive experience: Black card gives access to hydro massage , tanning beds and massage chairs( chsirs are ok but not great). It's a pretty well equipped gym. Disappointed they don't have an inversion table. Some of the machines are too large for a smaller body type.

Negative experience: If I could give them a 0 I would. They signed up a member and made a mistake on the bank account. They took money out of my child a bank account. Called them and talked to the manager. I was told to go deal with it at my bank and hung up the phone. Tried to call again but they wouldn’t speak to me. Theses guys are fraudsters.

Negative experience: Paid for a membership and was told I wasn’t allowed in during vaccine mandates, while fully up to date but was told I wasn’t allowed to use the gym For weeks cause THEY “didn’t have a tablet they could scan my code” even tho I had the physical copy. Joke of a company, don’t give these losers a dollar
Fantastic experience: Reason for 5 stars because; I went there on Oct 23,2020 around 2:30pm the Asian dude in the office was pretty awesome I forgot to grab his name but he was really helpful. Whoever you are If you remember me just so you know your nice gesture doesn’t go unnoticed. Gym was great not busy lots of dumbbells and huuge floor space.
Positive experience: Good place to workout. Open 24/7. Lots of equipment gym to choose from. I prefer going early morning when the gym is still quiet. Not bad for the bi-weekly payment.
Positive experience: It is a friendly place with lots of average sized members and lots of equipments. My only complaint is that they keep trying to push Black Card membership on you. Even when you unsubsribe from all marketing emails they persist in sending at least 2-3 a week it seems like. It's 6 AM and I already got another two spams already. Will have to start keeping records to send to CRTC. It is unfortunate they seem to disregard the anti-spam legislation.

Fantastic experience: It has the leathery gym smell . Weirdly enough that puts me in the mood for long exercise sessions. The staff I'd say are approachable. Equipments are well maintained. Lastly my Introverted judgement is it's a great place if your also trying to jump out of your shell so far I've only met friendly people at the gym. Afternoons have less people and from 4 pm downwards usually more. The location is also great as I don't have to worry about getting famished after long workout sessions. Honestly I feel like a 4 star for no reasonable reason so I give it a 5 instead. As always it's affordable!

Fantastic experience: I like this gym it's close to my house by car. the staff are friendly and I feel comfortable here. the best part I love the hydro massage chair after my work outs. there hasn't been problems with machines 1 machine is broken for a week but other than that they keep the equipment in good condition.

Positive experience: Quiet and tidy gym. Dumbbells go to 75lbs and there's enough weight for any beginner or intermediate lifter to get a good workout in. Not the best cardio equipment that seems to be mostly broken down any given day. 24 hour operation so staff is only on site for determined hours. Definitely not top of the line equipment, but affordability offsets this downside.
Fantastic experience: It's very busy but there is a lot of equipment to use. The stair master is awesome. A few power racks, 4 bench press benches, lots of dumbells, treadmills, and bikes. Lots of benches. They have all variety of machines for isolations. The membership is very cheap also.
Positive experience: Pretty crowded. Some machine are not working. No water dispenser. But staff works hard to clean everything.
Positive experience: I like this gym really good, I recommend it. It has lots of running machines, bars, lots of dumbbells and what I really like is that the place is big. The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes they don't fix some of the machines sometimes they are useful take like 1month or 2 weeks to repair it .

Fantastic experience: Vanessa is great with her work ethic and customer service. Quick to assist customers and prevents long lines from forming at the entrance. Works hard and keeps the area clean as well. Well done
Negative experience: Poor to no customer service. Continue to dodge my calls or requests to cancel my membership. I requested a membership freeze twice and they proceeded to charge me throughout the "frozen" period anyway. Then they proceed to charge me $25 for non-payment when I stopped my auto payments that they continue to try to charge me for after I gave notice for termination. You already charged me for the membership I didn't use when I got the email to confirm that it'll be FROZEN. Will not be using in the future. Also they never had paper towels refilled ever, they used the same unsanitary cloth for communal use during a pandemic. And they did not care about the members who wore no mask, didn't social distance or wore the mask improperly (this was before the vaccine exemption program).
Negative experience: Staff wasn't there, waited outside for awhile.
Negative experience: Worth place ever especially the staff and even no tap for the water not recommended the one at Sunridge is the best
Negative experience: They don’t repair Equipments if they are damage. I started gym one month ago. Still i can see what i saw on first day. Need maintenance. But they don’t care.
Negative experience: I frequent this gym . But lately has been lacking in maintenance . So many broken machines . Not to mention the smelly bathrooms . Gonna switch it up an hit sunridge for a while . Hopefully this place turns around
Positive experience: Everything's fine but please fix the cable machines :( 4 out of 6 cables are unavailable :(
Fantastic experience: Love this place. Has huge collection of equipments you might not need to wait to you the trademill or other equipment, has lockers but very few changing stations compared to the workout area, but well maintained also has shower. Equipments are been frequently wiped off.
Negative experience: I have been trying to get ahold of SOMEONE to cancel my membership and this place makes it next to impossible to get ahold of someone. The phone number they provide doesn't have an answering machine and just says the customer you are calling is unavailable. There should be a call center that a person can call. They have absolutely no problem taking my money every month, even during covid, but can't answer the phone. Or provide alternatives for people who cannot attend to cancel in person. Which is another issue I will add. There is hardly ever anyone at this location to talk to. How am I supposed to cancel?
Negative experience: Your comment is awaiting moderation. 1st I would say this is a good gym especially if you are on a budget and really self motivated, however the manager (Roxy) at the Macleod location Calgary Alberta is the most rude, unprofessional and ill mannered person I have ever met in my life. I have been working out at this location for over 3years, I booked an appointment, showed up to work out and Roxy told me I can’t because this is not my branch, I said that can’t be right since I know I have effected this change twice now. She basically walked up to me and said she is the manager and I have to leave or she is going to call the cops. I never seen such a power drunk person in my life. I literally told her I think she is power drunk at this point and she said she was going to cancel my membership too (wow). To cut the story short, as far as she is still the “manager” over there, I would like fit4less management to look into how many memberships she’s cancelled and her reasons. And I wouldn’t recommend this location for anybody. I do recommend fit4less for what it is but for this Macleod location please don’t, the manager (Roxy) is horrible
Negative experience: I call them 15 Times to cancel my membership but they are not doing that. She said only manager can do that but whenever I called she said manager is not here she put it in notes to call me back but I never get a call. When I ask her what time your manager will be in so I can call again then she said she can’t say anything when Manager will be here there is no specific time for manager. This location staff is so unprofessional. You can use this location for workout but Please don’t join on this location.
Positive experience: Excellent value of money I would appreciate and give 5 stars if they install a water fountain as they have installed in sunridge location, or allow their customers to switch to any other location without charging 40 dollars.
Negative experience: I canceled my membership 2 months ago but they still pull money from my account . I went last month and I talked to the people in front office and showed my email of cancelation a month before .she was sorry to know that and promised that cancelation is now done and no more pulling money from my account but still do it .(hustlers )
