Fantastic experience: The centre is great. And they have an amazing park as well.

Fantastic experience: La piscine est très propre et les plages horaires en fin de soirée sont plus chargées que celles en début de matinée. Il existe deux bassins, l'un est pour les enfants et l'autre est pour les adultes. À tout moment, il y a toujours au moins 3 sauveteurs surveillés. La piscine donne accès gratuitement aux bains libres et aux couloirs pour faire des longueurs.

Fantastic experience: A great place, a children's pool, an adult pool, and basketball courts, all indoor. I tried it in the winter, and in the summer I recommend visiting it.

Negative experience: Pourquoi des hommes seuls et sans enfants se retrouvent dans le vestiaire familial ? Et que les gens rentrent, sortent des vestiaires et vont aux abords de la piscine avec leurs chaussures d'extérieur ? Il y a quelque peu du laxisme au niveau du respect des règles... le personnel ne fait rien respecter dans les vestiaires et aux abords ! Il y a de plus en plus de spectateurs sur les bancs aux abords de la piscine... pourquoi ? Je viens depuis plusieurs années et il y a de moins en moins de respect dans la piscine, les vestiaires....c est bien dommage car la piscine et les activités proposées sont agréables et diversifiées !

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our daughter for swim lessons and free swim for almost a year. Staff is friendly always and service is great. Special thanks to swim instructor Audrey, she is so professional and great with the kiddos.

Negative experience: The receptionist the short girl with the glasses unhelpful she don’t want to explain anything she grumpy she’s doing minimum effort , such a lazy person ‍♀️,she don’t deserve to be working there, she’s not even trying , I wonder why she got hired from the first place, unprofessional she need more training public relation , communicating skills

Negative experience: **Just FYI and context my review will be strictly for the "gym" and I use that word loosely as its a workout room and not a gym.** I have been consistently working out here for a month but I have been a member for six months off and on. I will first start with the negatives : This gym is tiny. My living room is bigger than this place. This is the type of gym they may have at a hotel or a condo, just so they are able to say they have a "gym". The equipment is pathetic, as they don't have many machines and the dumbells are light and only go up to 50lbs. There are only two benches, and on to my next part as soon as there is more than five people this room is crowded. You fight with people to use equipment and generally you have the same issues that you may have at other gyms, people don't clean the equipment or machines after use, people talk loud on their phones, drop the weights very loud, break the equipment, people sit on their phones not caring that this is one room where other people need TO SHARE THE MACHINES. There actually is no supervision here. And the guy who is the "supervisor" doesn't Inforce rules and sits in his phone in the other room, away from the gym. He's also rude when you ask him for help, or extra cleaning materials which they fail to provide or forget to re stock, he's incompetent, he has a beard and a hat, you know who I'm talking about. If you have rules, please Inforce them as this creates an unsafe and unpleasant space for PAYING CUSTOMERS. Please rectify these issues. The hours are strange also, just keep the place open and don't shut down for your lunch hour. This is not a government office. Lastly I have never seen a more incompetent front desk staff, you least you could do is smile when you are taking my money? Now on to the postives, which there are some. I like the fact that this gym is only 20$ per month without a contract which is nice for people who want to save a few bucks and not have to pay a fortune just to work out. I really appreciate this. Not everyone can afford to go to the gym. But I believe everyone deserves to have access to a fitness center regardless of your income, health is wealth. This is where this gym shines. Also the facilities are beautiful with modern amenities, you can shower after your workout and even take the elevator if you just hit leg day. I will say this: I believe if you know how to workout and be creative you can workout fine here, but you will get to a point where you need a barbell bench press and a squat rack, and this gym doesn't have it. You are limited in terms of equipment and machines, but you can still get a good workout here and build progress. I have my reasons I work out here, but I am at the point where in order to progress more I need another gym with heavier weights and atleast a flat barbell bench press. I live five minutes away from the facility and I don't make excuses to not work out. This is an honest but tough review and I believe other customers should read this.

Fantastic experience: J'ai essayé la salle de sport à quelques reprises et je dois dire que c'est très adéquat pour le prix pour des utilisateurs occasionnels ou réguliers! 5$ la journée ou 20$ par mois, c'est imbattable. Les employés et les autres usagés sont sympathiques, mais c'est vrai que la place est limitée dans la salle. J'y retournerai absolument pour essayer les autres plateaux et installations offerts!

Negative experience: Love the pool (5 star)- quality in lifeguard/safety questionable and not appreciated (2 star) As a previous competitive swimmer, I truly appreciate this swimming pool. It's clean, beautiful (glass windows) and the hours are convenient. However, as a lifeguard myself, I am extremely disappointed in the service/ level of security provided (please note that I swim from 6:30-7:30 before work). - Several times are the lifeguards talking to one another at one chair, leaving their section unattended (20 minutes). - There is discrimination and favoritism between when to apply safety rules in regards to traffic and speed of swimming within lanes. Not all lifeguards apply the same rules, and when they do apply it, it's for only when the masters are present/ "friends". As it is a public pool, and the hours are called "bain libre", I am all for respecting the speed within the lane. To guarantee everyone's safety, it is important to ensure that you are in the right lane based on your level of swimming. However, public pools come with their territories. We are all different swimmers, with all different levels of skills and trainings. If you are to apply the rule of ensuring that traffic speed is respected, the rule should be unanimous for all lanes and for all swimmers, at all times. It is discriminatory and unjust to see that one lifeguard will only start to apply the rules once a or multiple master swimmers/ their friends arrive. As my opinion can be viewed as subjective, I am a regular swimmer who comes 1x a week to BF. This is the first time I've witnessed a lifeguard request that a swimmer change lane and it only happened once the Master swimmers arrived. Please note, over the course of the summer, when verbal complaints were given for having slower swimmers in the lanes, no lifeguard requested the swimmers to change lanes. That said, as I am a lifeguard, CPR trained, and a competitive swimmer myself, I chose to swim here at my own risk as it close to my job and allows me to continue to stay fit. However, I am extremely disappointed and appalled to see how certain lifeguards use their privileges' to their own advantage/ to allow their "friends" to have their own lane and do not do their job correctly. If you are looking for a pool that provides more security, a clean space and apply the rules for everyone, I also love going to the Côte-St-Luc. It's 5$ entry (hence why I come to BF 1x a week) however it's worth every penny to not feel discriminated against and safe.

Positive experience: The pool is too crowded to have a good swim, and that's nearly all the time now. I don't know why we're letting in people from places like Westmount and Cote Saint Luc, when those places don't let Montreal residents use their facilities. But if you have money you can pay to have your own lane. That was the wrong thing to do because the Centre was supposed to be for everyone, not just people who have money. Switching the men's and women's change rooms was also the wrong thing because now neither one is doing what it was designed to do - but I hope the ladies are enjoying the urinals. Some people make a habit of swimming down the centre of the lane; the lifeguard should instruct them to keep to the right, but they can't be bothered. And younger people showing up for seniors swim or entering the pool before seniors swim has ended, because they have realized no one is going to do anything about it. I'd recommend returning to a system of online registration, and better supervision of lifeguards.

Located next to a kids play ground. one thing what i don't like here, it is a very hot water ♨️ in showers to rinse off before and after swim.

Negative experience: I had to stop going here because the water is much too cold in the multifunctional pool, and this was causing me health problems. And the 25 metre pool is very unsafe for Covid, close contact with strangers is a bad idea right now. Well that's Quebec for you. But the building still looks nice from outside.

Fantastic experience: Best and cleanest pool in Montreal. I would literally bike here for 20 minutes just to swim laps at night because it's such a quality facility. If you like a free swim as much as I do, check this place out! 9-10pm most weekdays.
