Fantastic experience: I did a transfer membership to try out the gym for a limited time and so far all the classes and work out spaces have been truly AMAZING. The classes are my favourite thing to do and there’s a huge variety to choose from - not to mention the trainers make it different each time for the same ones so you never get bored. The only thing is the classes open up 48 hours before so you have to be really quick on your fingers to sign up (you have to do it through the app) or else it fills up quick. I also appreciate there’s an only-women’s section complete with our own studio, workout area, pool, and change rooms/lockers/makeup space so I feel more comfortable. This place really offers what it speaks.

Fantastic experience: This gym is clean, the staff are amazing, and the classes they offer are fantastic. Personal trainers they have are the best. They have a women's only pool and a co-ed / family pool. The gym is inclusive, friendly, has tons of solid equipment, and when things break, they actually fix them! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This gym is absolutely epic! I fell in love with it and left goodlife immediately. Please give a compliment to Tori who was so amazing, nice, and friendly when she was re-signing me up after the covid closures and restrictions. My son and I absolutely love the rock climbing/ninja course and I always try to bring people to climb. I also try to refer people to the gym itself.

I also love how this gym is so diverse it has a swimming pools also consists of multiple yoga studios. Also those smoothies taste GREAT!!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter attended a Birthday party here. Very happy that QR codes were being scanned, surfaces were constantly sanitized and hand sanitizers were easily accessible. Staff was very friendly and helpful and answered all questions. Please ensure you fill out the waiver to use the climbing area. Suitable for children 4 years and up. Lots if fun.

Fantastic experience: Incredible gym! during this difficult time, the staff is working tirelessly to make sure the gym is kept clean. Especially their custodians specifically Mehran who is always there to lend a helping hand. Our family is very confident going to the gym and we feel safe thanks to Mehran and his team.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Altea for about 2 years now and I still get excited to go every time. It's not just a gym but an lifestyle. I've met so many great people there and reconnected with old friends. The staff are like family to me. The facility and equipment are the best in Winnipeg and it's always so clean. Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. There's everything here you need to get healthy and fit or relax if that's what you're after. The Himalayan salt lounge is wonderful. There are dedicated women only pools and exercise studios. Hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms, coed or women only. So many classes to pick from at whatever level you need. Lots of different times available. The smoothie bar is great too!

Really a lot of value for your money, the classes are great, the instructors are friendly and welcoming, the facility is very clean, the smoothie bar is delicious and has a ton of options. There's a huge variety of equipment and classes. Definitely check it out, you would not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Mahran is doing very well in his job. The cleaning is top class and I don’t think anyone can have any complain regarding cleaning. I would recommend more people to join the gym and be the part of this wonderful gym.

Fantastic experience: Great facility with a very friendly staff. I had some frustrations with the lack of spaces offered in the daycare and the club was quick to reach out to me. The active kids club staff is lovely. The wide variety of classes and instructors are awesome. Parent and baby classes added to the schedule would be a cherry on top of a great club.

Fantastic experience: Going to the gym isn't my thing, but Alteactive made it easy for me to start my first day! It's clean and not too crowded during evening workout. The reception is accommodating and my wife enjoys her yoga class. Please keep it up! :)

They have literally everything you need to start/continue your fitness journey. If you are a frontline worker, they have an amazing deal for you. The regular membership is very fairly priced as well. Fantastic experience: Bob and I joined Altra Active in January 2022 and we absolutely love it!!! The people are friendly, the custodians are always keeping everything clean, and our personal trainer, Jeffrey Barrie is so knowledgeable, friendly, focused and encouraging! We feel we really lucked out! I have numerous issues with tight muscles and I can’t believe the improvement since starting with Jeff! You can tell he really knows what he is doing and I like that he explains our goals and how we will achieve them! THE BEST GYM EVER!!! So glad it is fairly close to me

Fantastic experience: I have been trying to rate for a while but I didn't know the name of the lady...I think its the overnight custodian lady who is so nice....i saw her in the mornings when she is leaving and i got a chance to ask her name....she said its Niala...and I said i appreciate all the hard work she does at night....nobody is there to see but i see everything sparkling in the morning time which is comforting and welcoming....keep it up Altea for providing such a care as u promised for your customers.....

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Altea for just over a month now & I can't believe how encouraging this gym is! I've always struggled with working out and keeping a schedule, but having the classes really helps me stay on track and it's so nice that there's so much variety on any given day in the evenings. The girls that have been doing the bootcamps & bodies in motion have been absolute gems and such a huge help with their positive attitude & constant encouragement. I know the price might be iffy for some people, but when you think about the added value and how much is included there's absolutely no way you can't justify it. The only downside for some people would be how quickly the classes book up, however I've had reminders set and I've never missed out on the classes that I want!

He is one of the best trainer. He encourages a lot and motivates to do better. I never thought I will be consistent or have confidence to go to the gym often before I started training with him. It is very clean and well-appointed. I can honestly say I believe there is a place for everyone to enjoy and work toward their personal wellness goals. Body. Mind.

Fantastic experience: I love the diversity of my workouts. The gym routine has turned less “routine” and more experiential. I’m constantly trying new things and have a plethora of options to match what I feel like my body and mind need on any given day. Love love love it and would recommend to anyone. I think you’d be surprised at how affordable it is, especially when you consider all the added value. If you’re thinking about making a change or just getting started, you should consider Altea. Fantastic experience: You get what you pay for. Moving over from Planet fitness to Altea was a bit of a jump in expenses but it's worth every penny. Great atmosphere, super friendly front desk staff and yes plenty of equipment so you are not waiting for anything. There is so much to offer that you can't go wrong with this choice. Also with COVID, you want to be sure that you are going to a place which is well sanitized and thats where this gentleman Mehran comes in. Thank you Mehran for providing us the peace of mind by being constantly on the move and keeping the place clean and sanitized. People like you are often the difference between Altea and other gyms in the city!

Fantastic experience: I was invited as a guest to Altea Active through Mahran, and my god is this place beautiful. There is so much to look forward to, and the amount of facilities is indescribable. I can’t thank Mahran enough for showing me this gorgeous gym, so I decided that I’d like to continue coming with a membership. I definitely think it’s worth it’s price! Mahran on the other side, is awesome. As we walked through the gym, he got along with everyone, which is so great. He’s a hardworker, with a huge heart!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for a year now. Its the kind of place that makes life a little bit better and your day hella alot better. Staff is super friendly and hardworking. Mehrab has been super kind and has been working diligently to make sure the place is clean and everyone is able to carry on with their workout without a worry. 10/10 would urge you to check it out.

Fantastic experience: Altea Active is a gym like no other. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and kind, I have not seen one so similar. Not too long ago, there was a Custodian by the name of Mehran. My God, does he put all his love and effort into keeping the gym clean. I always see him, doing the best and giving 110%. Not only does he keep the place clean, he interacts with the customers, which in my past experiences, I have never seen. He is a phenomenal person, with a huge heart, and love for what he does. Great job Altea in hiring him!

Fantastic experience: Be careful with this club, you can easily become a victim of fraud like me. looks like Altea Active steals money. My friend invited me to this club in august 21 to go to swimming pool. It is located not convenient for me, but I agreed to join her that time. i filled in all concerns, forms, paid $25 for the visit (they didn't give me a receipt) and, it appeared that swimming pool was closed that day. Nobody on reception told us that swimming pool was closed. well, we went back right away and I asked for refund. First time the employee asked me if I am ready to come next time and use paid money for the next visit. I told that I leave far rom that area and will not come next time. The employee told me that there shouldn't be problems to refund money, someone would contact me and she gave me a paper and asked to wright down my name and contact information. It was strange because i filled all information in their forms just a few minutes ago. Okey, I wrote done required information one more time. Nobody contact me... I waited for a week and called to the club, described situation and was confused hearing that they don't have any information about me, about my visit that day at all. I was told that they don't keep information for a day visitors.....Very strange... I did ask why I was offered to use my money for the next visit? My fried who invited me contacted them also, we were promised that I would have refund last week.... Nobody still contacted me, no refunds.... That's my true story and experience with Altea Active, very negative experience. Probably I should contact police, I still have evidence from my bank that money was taken... I would update my review and change it from 1 to 5 stars. I am surprised how stuff of Altea Active handled my problem. They did fats and professionally. General manager Tyler Malloy contacted me quickly and arranged not only refund, but also granted a complimentary workout day pass. I am surprised.... and wish you all the best, Atea Active.

Fantastic experience: Altea is a fantastic gym. I always feel welcomed by the staff, and with the amenities that come with your membership, the cost is very reasonable. There is tons of equipment available, and as long as you go during the slower hours, it’s not busy. The only thing I’d love to see is extending their hours to 24 hours a day!

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience there. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The main advantage for me is the kids club where I can leave my baby to go for a 2hr workout. I can't say it's THE best gym in the city, since I haven't checked them all (:D) but it's pretty good.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism I have always found the staff friendly and professional. It's a very clean gym with a great variety of machines and equipment. I was wary of working out with a mask on so I made the call today and was able to put a hold on my membership for 3 months no hassle at all. Just being polite gets you pretty far.

Fantastic experience: The gym takes care of its members and cleanliness during these tough times. The whole staff is very welcoming and especially the staff that clean and sanitize the equipments. One person in particular that has been very friendly and has been doing a wonderful job is Mehran, who’s been taking care to sanitize the equipments well, keeping a friendly demeanor, all the while working his very best at the gym.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my first day at Altea and I’ve never felt so “at peace” in my life. I have 2 kids (6 year old and a 3 month old) and having the Active Kids Club at Altea is what really sold me. I am able to work out for 2 hours and have some much needed “me” time while I know my kids are in safe hands with their staff. I did the Aqua Fit class yesterday I was a little nervous because I hadn’t done a class before and it was so much fun, everybody had a blast!

Exceptional service, extremely clean and organized facility and a solid value for the membership price. All the classes are included and so many of the instructors are amazing. One of the best decisions I took for my health to be an Altea member.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Altea since the beginning, and it's one of the best gyms out there. Lots of equipment and classes to choose from, and both coed and women's sides of the gym mean everyone can be comfortable. The staff is especially wonderful, and they are both helpful and welcoming. And did I mention how clean it is there? All of the public areas get cleaned several times a day!
