Negative experience: Manager was rude, super uncooperative - unfortunately left us scared to go back to GoodLife , and sickened with our customer service experience. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL UP SELL YOU ON MEMBERSHIPS. WORLD GYM IS DOWN THE ROAD. DO NOT GO.

Fantastic experience: Best people. This is a smaller gym compared to LaSalle GoodLife. They don't provide women's only areas . But it is small and respectful. The staff is always ready to help and it is wonderful

Negative experience: I have been working out here for years because it’s one of the only affordable options in the South End. This gym is filthy, there is mould in the men’s showers/shower room, the staff never enforces people to not wear their boots or winter shoes inside. Yoga mats always have salt and dirt from outdoor shoes. They run out of shampoo/soap several times a year. The toilets are disgusting and it’s apparent they aren’t cleaned enough. I’ve tried to file a formal complaint with the staff but have seen no improvements. 1 star for the friendly staff at the front desk but the cleanliness and health/safety protocols of this location is poor.

Negative experience: I will never again mess around with this franchise. I signed up because the website said that you’re not locked into a contract. I’ve been moving house for the past month and just received a collections call for less than $40. I just checked spam and there’s a series of threatening emails. These people are leeches. I paid for the membership 2 months ago, never set foot in the place, then get sent to collections for 30 something dollars; disgusting. I will join a smaller gym with some human contact, common sense, and morality. Edit: thank you for responding but I do not need help reading the terms of the agreement. I see that you now at least allow people to cancel their memberships without locking them in and hounding them for the full year, but it is my personal opinion that it is immoral to attempt to send someone to collections immediately when you can simply cancel the membership. Life happens and a lapsed gym membership shouldn't impact someones ability to buy a house or car or some other loan in the future. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Great spot for the wife and myself. Staff is always polite and friendly. Equipment is in great shape. * Members and non members must sanitize after they use equipment! Also could use a real pec deck and a few updates on some equipment but I don’t know their finance so……it is what it is! More then enuff to get in shape or jacked.

Positive experience: The middling experience doesn’t reflect the corporate standard of fitness. Been a member here for two years, and over 10 years combined at other locations. The front desk staff are nice and the equipment is in good shape but this location needs to hire more qualified staff to guide RPM in the mornings. Signing up for a class and then coming in to find it’s been canceled because they couldn’t find an instructor is unacceptable. I don’t have a gym membership to watch and ride along with glorified YouTube videos. They also need to keep up with building maintenance at this location. Burnt out lights, wall clocks having dead batteries and showers with broken fixtures are basic issues that could and should be addressed immediately.

Positive experience: This Goodlife doesn't have a glute drive machine, but the one on Lasalle does. Sad! If Henry Cavill has a glute drive machine, why doesn't Goodlife?!

Positive experience: The gym’s got everything you need although it does have a somewhat weird layout. Staff are nice but super finicky about the smallest things to a fault in my opinion. Goodlifes normally have a ton of dumb rules that personally make me feel excluded as an athlete amongst the rest of the community, but I’ve never been to one this bad. Overall, not terrible but not great either.

Fantastic experience: This is my gym of choice whenever I visit Sudbury.. staff are friendly and there is always equipment available. Easy to get in, have a quick workout and get out. Tons of parking makes this a great location.

Fantastic experience: Small but had everything you need
Positive experience: So many broken machines and very unfriendly in general. Not well-stocked and although the staff is very particular and finicky about certain things that are missing the boat on many other basics. I don’t like this location at all.

Fantastic experience: Socially distant, smaller sized gym. The appointments were fully booked through most mornings slots on the 3 weekdays I was in the area and I wasn't able to walk-in (but was able to book appointments later in the day). The changer oom was nice and big but showers were blocked for covid.
Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for years. The staff are friendly and helpful. The equipment is in good repair. The locker rooms & gym are kept clean. The only issue I've had was a few years ago when the shower heads in the women's locker room were getting old and had residue built up on them, which I mentioned to the staff as I was leaving. On my next visit, they'd all been replaced with new ones. I went yesterday for the first time since COVID hit, and I could immediately tell they took cleaning and keeping everyone safe very seriously.

Positive experience: Great gym. I love the lower ceilings that reduce the echoed drop of weights you get at other locations. As well, the staff are extremely friendly to you and help you get to your workout fast. My only thing I would change is this: As a woman you have to walk all the way to the back corner to get changed or drop off your winter coat. The pathway for the first half is a bit grimy and dirty, as many men wear their boots all the way to their change room, getting my gym runners pretty mucked up along the way and defeating the purpose of asking clients to remove outer footwear.

Fantastic experience: I signed up here in October of 2018 with the goal of losing 50lbs. I fully did not expect to reach my goal. I figured within a week, maybe two I would quit. I decided to try getting a person trainer hoping that maybe I might have a better chance. She was awesome! She kept me motivated where I kept coming day after day, whether I had a training session with her or if I was just going to do cardio that day! Unfortunately she ended up moving on to a different path, but I did make my goal with her. After she left I still had more weight to lose and more training sessions left. After a quick meeting with the Caleb the fitness manager, he set me up with Baron to finish out my training. Everything went smoothly and as seamlessly as possible. With Barons help my progress went further then what I ever thought was possible! All of the staff here are friendly and willing to answer whatever questions I've had. Everyone made me feel welcome here, and very quickly all of my anxiety about initially going to a gym quickly disappeared and I felt like I belonged there. I definitely can't say enough good things about this location and the staff here! Thanks for helping me reach my goals!
Negative experience: No towels, dirty equipment .
Negative experience: Employees use the facility as a social gathering. IF there is towels available you will most likely be shown the full UNFOLDED laundry basket and expected to serve yourself. Im not one to questions ones tasks at the workplace but at this gym you can expect employees to socialize at the front desk and provide next to zero customer service. Uncertain what the need for several employees are at this location, towels are overflowing in change room laundry baskets while employees show no care to provide the $50+ p/month service members are paying... Unfortunate to say the least.

Negative experience: Terrible gym, I’ve been coming here for a while now. since they remodeled the gym, it is way to crowded! Plus the personal trainer take up a lot of the left over space, which makes it impossible to get a good workout. Don’t waste your money here

Negative experience: The hours are wack the members arnt friendly and the staff is even less friendly . Lots of parking and a hot sauna is the only plus to this location . I reccomend the lasalle location.
Negative experience: Alot smaller than the other GoodLife in Sudbury, but just as much cardio equipment. No womens only workout room. Very overcrowded , which makes it hot as hell. Beautiful changerooms. Limited parking thats close to the entrance. Child minding is quieter, but that might be because it was around supper time that we went. The child minderz were great with my child. Great location. Theres plenty of staff, but none of them were very greeting when i came in; despite them all standing at the counter. I prefer the Lasalle location overall

Negative experience: I have been to this gym 3 times since moving and there has never been towels available. Some of the equipment has seen better days but is alright for a quick workout if you can't travel to the LaSalle location. Laurentian University has a beautiful gym 5 minutes away from this location and would be worthwhile to go there if you're just visiting Sudbury looking for a gym.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of treadmills, great group classes and super professional and friendly staff.
Negative experience: The worst part of this gym for me is that all people must take their shoes off at the entrance and this area is always so dirty, especially in winter with all melted snow and sand...it just feels gross to even be there, it must be cleaned more ofte, overall the gym is not bad, but dirt really ruins the impression
