Positive experience: locker room space is a bit dark and limited.

Negative experience: Bad experience. I was playing badminton and it flied onto the roof and got stuck on the ceiling because there were pipes on there. I asked the guys who worked at the gym to see if they got anything could help me to get it down. They said that they currently had no access to the machine so it would be couple of months till they could actually get it down. Theses dude keep digging our money every term so we have to pay for the gym for mandatory and what I want is just to get my badminton back but they couldn't. What a brilliant idea of service!

Sometimes on holidays google page says it's open but when we arrive it's closed. I know there is sign on the chalkboard or other banners but sometimes people don't go for a long period due to reasons and they can miss it

Fantastic experience: Huge and complete place. Has all the equipment you may need and more. Might be more expensive for those who are not U of M students compared to normal gyms.

Positive experience: Really good gym. Has many equipment available and more than one per equipment. Has many activities available such as swimming, volleyball and a big track space. I would give 5 stars but their hours of opening are a bit disappointing they close at 8pm on the weekends which I think is a bit too early.

Fantastic experience: University active living centre with lots of activities including gym, swimming pool, yoga and exercises, high performance training centre etc. Membership is required to participate in the activities, however membership fee is free for the University students.

Fantastic experience: The facilities are awesome, large clean space, full size track, more than enough equipment to change up the workouts every week. Most machines are labeled and have clear instructions, for the ones that don't the staff are amazing and super helpful.

Fantastic experience: I come here every morning with my friend, and the workers here are always nice! They always know how to help you out! The entire facility is amazing, definitely one of my favourite parts of the university

Fantastic experience: I go here to rock climb and I'm not even attending the university! Had bouldering and top rope climbing! Everyone is super friendly and are more than happy to belay and help with beta!

Fantastic experience: This gym has world class training equipments and facilities. I especially love the 3 to 4 indoor basketball courts which are also used for squash and other indoor sports.

Fantastic experience: It's been about 5 years that I have U of M's gym membership. I like it, especially after the Active Living Centre has opened. It's a big facility with a lot of exercise equipments. Most group fitness classes are included in the membership and they are great with experienced instructors.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the facilities at this complex! The Active Living Centre facility and programs are amazing. There's a great little take out cafe on the main floor with lots of healthier options. It has a lounge that's open to the public at the entrance and the staff at the desk are super helpful if you have any questions.

There are programs for all ages from toddlers to seniors and everyone is welcome I have great memories here I went to miniu when I was younger and now I just work out and its convenient for students that want to be healthy like me after your classes you can come workout and go home it's great.
