Fantastic experience: Love all the staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff. They are all friendly as if they were just part of your family. From the assistant manager to the personal trainers, they are there to help you in anyway they can. I’ve been going there for just over a year and a half with a personal trainer that changes up my routine every couple of months to keep it interesting. Her and the other trainers are just like family. We have fun and have good laughs every time I’m in there. There is nothing negative that I could say about the Stittville good life center.. There is one thing the good life should do for their employees is change the outfits they are wearing. They are updated. They aren’t warm enough in the colder weather . You should update the fashion of the times were in.

Fantastic experience: Like going to this location better but only at specific times. Early in the morning or late at night that's when you'll find the place crawling less with teenagers. When you go while there's a bunch of teenagers around it does take quite a bit longer to get your workout in as it seems some just sit in the machines beside their friends who's actually working out and not them. Also the teenagers (not all) but most don't seem to like to wipe down their machines afterwards. Staff is +++++ friendly, hello, goodbyes, smiles! No complaints on the staff at all!

Fantastic experience: Great machines, newer, and they all work smoothly. I tried Movati, but their machines were much older and hard to move. I also like that there are two floors. The upstairs is quieter with a nice layout of machines for a full body workout.

Fantastic experience: I took my first ever group fitness body pump class yesterday with Sara and we crushed it! I don’t have anything to compare it to, but Sara made me feel comfortable and welcome. She spoke with me before and after the class, wanting to see how I thought the class was and if my expectations were met. The workout was easy to follow and even if you messed up, it didn’t really matter as long as you keep moving and pushing forward. Overall, it was a good experience and I will most likely be back for another group fitness class.

Negative experience: I have been a member of Goodlife on and off for more than a decade and had no issues with their services until a couple of months ago. I reached out to their Fitness Manager to see if they offered Physiotherapy for a sore elbow I had. I was told no but if I signed up for Personal Training, it was better than Physio and would fix my problem with my elbow. I didn't realize it at the time but the Fitness Manager signed me up to a nearly $8,000 a year program! When large payments started coming out of my account, I tried to cancel with them but was rebuffed--it's the holidays, come back later...the right person isn't around come back later...we'll get back to you etc etc. Payments kept coming out of my account. By the time anyone ever did get back to me, a month had gone by and they kept telling me you can only cancel if you pay 20% of the full contract. And I've been fighting with them ever since. My elbow is still as sore as before. I find their Fitness Manager and practices very slick and shady worthy of a snake oil salesman. Be extremely careful with these folks.

Positive experience: Been going here since it opened several years ago. Used to be really clean and well looked after. Big decline in the past year though. In the past, desk staff were diligent in asking clients to remove wet/salty out door foot wear. Had several large signs asking people to comply and most did. No sign now and no one cares - filthy, wet and salty steps up to the change rooms now. Clients put their wet salty shoes in the lockers leaving them wet and dirty. More often than not, a number of the soap dispensers in the men’s showers are empty so check the dispenser status before you start. And frequently the shower area has a strong sewery sort of smell. Most front desk staff are very pleasant but some are ineffective. Have advised 3 different people over the past 6 weeks about an elliptical that is not working properly and it is still not working properly. Given what we pay, quite disappointing. Seriously thinking of trying the new Anytime coming to Terry Fox @ Tillsonburg. Upside is that seldom is there an issue getting the machine you want to use. And in fairness, seldom are there issues with the cardio gear. Parking is generally not an issue.

Fantastic experience: The staff: The staff is very friendly! Val is amazing! I signed up here at this location several months ago and she was the first person I saw when I came in. She made me feel welcome and that this was my "Home". My anxiety practically melted away! Her interest in my progress and day to day life has made me feel like a valued member. I honestly look forward to seeing her friendly face on a daily basis. SHE. IS. AWESOME. The club: The club is good. It gets busy at peak hours and this goes until about 9:30pm, but this is common with any gym. It's clean and members are respectful. There is a fair selection of machines and the environment is great for lifters, fitness enthusiasts or just people starting out. Location: Great location.

Fantastic experience: I love going to this gym. The equipment is great, the locker rooms are clean and spacious, and the sauna and massage chairs are a nice way to relax after a workout. Fantastic experience: For whatever reason my usual GoodLife at hazeldean mall was closed Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 6am. I called Stittsville and spoke with Christian who said they were open. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately by him and thanked for coming in. He answered my questions and made me feel welcome. The gym itself was well kept and clean. Thank you Christian for making my night, taking preworkout out with no place to go sucks!

Fantastic experience: My mom lives in Almonte and this is the location I come to when I visit. The people working are always very kind and make me feel valued. I want to give Alex H. a special shoutout - he went above and beyond to be kind and to accommodate my big brother who’s from Quebec (no GoodLife in QC) but wanted to get a sweat in. Negative experience: I had four memberships on hold/freeze but the system or the staff who did missed one so I was paying for it for few months; I called multiple time and spoke with the assistant manager who told me I can’t get a refund and I’ll get credit. It I acceptable to pay for your mistake and even I credit that I was forced into didn’t happen yet after all these months

Negative experience: Not a bad gym overall, but just like almost every GoodLife gym change rooms don't get cleaned, This is not fit for less, it is not a budget gym. There are 2-300 hundred people going through the gym on a daily basis, GoodLife can't expect that customers will just keep the change rooms clean, you need better cleaning services. Sometimes someone drops something on the floor and 2 weeks later is still there. P/T other issue, I use the green area quite a lot and always trying to stay at the end of the green to let other people use it too, all of sudden P/T with their customer are right in your way exercising, disregarding that I've been doing sets for 10 min, already and 85% of the green still available. I guess if you don't get P/T services you are like second hand customer. These have been pretty much my issues with every GoodLife gym. To the GoodLife people Please don't contact me to harass me to remove my negative review, this happened before, just work on the issues that I mentioned above and once there is improvement I will remove it without being pressured. Positive experience: This location has great staff, good quality machines but it’s always packed. Just take a look at the popular times on google and it’s always busier than usual. I’ve been coming at all different times during the day and it’s hard to find a time when it’s comfortable. You’ll even see people sitting on machines while waiting for another machine like come on!

Negative experience: During the covid pandemic I found this gym to unfortunetly be unhygienic. The staff wear masks however everyone else in the establishment does not. Another issue I have is their handling of credit returns. Several months of contacting them, and I have still not recieved my refund. To make things worse during my last discussions somehow half of my credit has disappeared . // Response to owner below // I live right across the street and I see the establishment every single day. Its filled with people not wearing masks. Perhaps you should visit your site to get an accurate understanding of how things look. As for my concerns, I have emailed, called and been onsite on several occaisions since this pandemic began many months ago. My most recent contact was 2 weeks ago and at that time I was told my credit on file is not accurate, and that I will be recieving half of it within 5-8 business days. Now here I am - many months later, still no money back, getting a generic response from the owner who doesnt seem to understand how his/her establishment is run. At this point just keep the money on my file. You'll probably just tell me there was a mistake and further remove any remaining credit I had on file in effort to survive this pandemic. For these reasons I wont be supporting goodlife fitness moving forward.

Negative experience: Body pump instructor gave away spot after being 10 mins late without giving a proper explanation got ignored by the instructor.her name is Diana O, and she is usually doing body bump anyway i brought this issue to the staff who work there, they are very diplomatic rather than helpful. Other clubs have 15 mins window to allow people who register for class being late. Very bad experience there.
We are sorry to hear Seberana, however we will confirm that you we do allow a 10 minute grace period for members to show up. With any live programming, the instructors are required to adhere to a schedule.

Negative experience: GoodLife started playing ADS at increased volume for 3rd party products. I don't pay a membership to be fed ads while I workout!
Positive experience: The Goodlife gym in Stittsville is just grand, a brand new building with a nice open feeling on the inside, it's a great experience to work out here.
Positive experience: Probably the best GoodLife in the Kanata and Stittsville area, but because of that it is always really busy. The turf is nice, they have a decent amount of lifting platforms but still have to wait to use equipment fairly often. No longer am a member with GoodLife but if you are and want a decent location, go here
Fantastic experience: Best Goodlife in the city. This gym has basically everything you need. Awesome employees, members, fitness classes, great spinning class, hot yoga. One of very few Goodlife's that are kept clean which is a massive bonus. Frank is the absolute best, he will work day and night to make sure you feel at home and welcomed.
Fantastic experience: I was in town for a few days while visiting my family over the holidays. Not only was the gym opened on December 24th, 25th and 26th but I received stellar customer service. Special thanks to Mac!
Fantastic experience: So many weights, machines, and rooms to choose from! Exclamation aside, the staff was friendly and I was able to get proper guidance on some of the machines with my personal trainer, Fay, who is also a member there. I'm a weightlifting enthusiast, thus this type of gym is a perfect fit for someone like me.
Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. It's still relatively new so the equipment is great and they have a hot yoga studio (its extra for the hot yoga but worth it!)

Fantastic experience: The gym has clean equipment that's repaired when broken. There's a wide variety and duplicates of machines, racks ands weights which keep wait times low even during peak hours. To top it off they have a friendly staff and ample parking.
Fantastic experience: Since joining the club about six months ago, on the very first day, Frank was in charge of helping me getting a membership started. He was amazing and took the time to explain to me all the products available to me but most importantly, he was more focus to knowing and understanding what my goals were in order for him to better service me. He was very nice and client focused, not just wanting me to sign up rather he wanted to make sure this is something i wanted to do, wanted to know my goals...etc. He also went out of his way to make me feel so comfortable , introduced me as a friend (lol) to some of existing member/ colleagues, he evrn offered to be my gym buddy ( attending classes with me when possible). I ended up signing up with a corporate memebrship. There were some mixed up with the goodlife online system, of which they charged me fees for one month by mistake, upon receiving my notification of the error, Frank took it upon himself to talk to management at HQ to rectify the issue and has callled me regularly to give me updates. In all, I would like to thank Frank for his amazing customer service/ peope skills....his personality and caring for his clients ( which goes beyond just getting people you sign up) made me feel at home as a new member at Goodlife in Stitsville and love going at the gym because of the way Frank's A-class client service. Thanks Frank:)-plus the club is very nice and clean!
