Expérience fantastique: I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness for some time now, and while the facilities are great, there’s one reason I keep coming back: Kurt. To be honest, they’ve become one of the best parts of my gym experience, and it’s not just because they’re knowledgeable and friendly — it’s because they genuinely make an effort to connect with every member, myself included. Here’s the funny thing — Kurt looks exactly like my brother. Like, exactly. I mean, I half expect him to start calling me Big Bro whenever I walk into the gym. But here’s the twist: Kurt treats me better than my actual brother does! I know, it sounds crazy, but it's true. While my brother might only call me when he needs something, Kurt remembers my workout goals, checks in to make sure I’m staying on track, and always has the perfect words of encouragement to get me through a tough set. Honestly, I can’t recall a time when my brother has been this attentive or positive — in the gym or outside of it! Whether it's offering advice on form, pushing me to lift heavier, or simply chatting about life while I’m cooling down, Kurt has a way of making every gym session feel like a personal, supportive experience. Their energy is contagious, and it’s easy to see how much they care about helping everyone reach their full potential. So, to anyone new to the gym or even longtime members who need a little extra motivation, I’d say: look for Kurt. They’ll treat you with respect, kindness, and attention that goes above and beyond what most people — even family — would do. And trust me, they make the gym feel like a place where you actually want to be, every single time. P.S. If you see someone who looks like they could be my brother, don’t worry — they’re the real MVP of this gym. (And they’re probably treating you better than your actual family, too!)

Expérience fantastique: I started working out and the sirens went off and this guy came up to me so gently saying that it’s the lunk alarm, thank goodness he was there to warn me, so I immediately put on my shirt and this guy just guided me through it all to be a better version of myself and that guy was Mr.Kurt. He’s got this uncanny ability to sense when you’re confused by a machine. Before you even look around for help, boom—there’s Kurt, appearing out of nowhere like he’s been hiding behind a dumbbell rack. He doesn’t judge either. He once came up to me saying “You’re not technically supposed to sit on the rowing machine to text, but hey, at least you’re here!” And don’t get me started on how clean the gym is when Kurt’s around. I once dropped my protein bar on the floor, picked it up, and honestly considered still eating it. That’s the Kurt effect. He’s out here polishing weights like they’re trophies and wiping down machines like he’s in a Mr. Clean commercial. But the real magic? His pep talks. Kurt could convince a goldfish to run a marathon. I swear I left the gym one day ready to conquer the world and do a bodybuilding competition, maybe even be the next cbum. If you’re at Planet Fitness and Kurt’s not there, just go home. It’s not the same without him.

But what really strikes me the most is the phenomenal costumer service. Especially the buff guy named kurt. Hes the main reason as to why i look forward to going to planet fitness. I would like to mention also that the new member you hired recently name Casper he is fitting in with your team so well. His infectious smile and determination to do an amazing job at this location is spectacular. Casper is always finding time to chat with myself and other clients. This gentleman is so full of energy he makes my workouts so enjoyable to see him interact with everyone and clean clean clean. Planet fitness won the lottery with finding and employee of this calibre. Thanks to all the staff for making this fitness location amazing. Thanks Gary I forgot to mention the club manager at this location Cassandra is amazing as well always leading by example. I noticed how well respected she is by her team. Austin a newer employee seems to be so focused and wanting to learn the importance of customer service Cassandra was taking the time to introduce him to the clients as they arrive in the morning. Please note both her and ALI are continuing making sure they keep this location looking clean and safe for all. Expérience fantastique: I LOVE this gym! Very clean, organized and has all the equipment I need. I I especially love this location because it’s close to other stores and the mall. I always leave the this place happy with my workout and a big part of that is because of the staff. One memorable staff member here is Czarina! She always greets me and my husband every time we go to the gym. She’s so helpful and has very good knowledge of the policies and rules of the gym. What an exceptional worker and great gym!

The only ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS part is that now that ive left the province (finished work there), im being told i have to come in person or mail a letter to cancel my membership….. you have an app and the internet i cant believe i have to mail a letter

I have spoken to managers on duty and they clearly don't care about the customers. I have tried to email a head office or corporate office but to no avail. If necessary I will go to the media. This is ridiculous. I pay a lot of money for my membership. Think twice before joining! 1 star is too high of a rating. CLUB MANAGERS DONT CARE AND ARE HARD TO GET A HOLD OF. THERE IS HUSKY LITTLE FILIPINO MAN WHO WALKS AROUND BUT SEEMS HES MORE INTO WORKING OUT THAN MANAGING.

Expérience négative: I had a very uncomfortable and bad customer experience at this gym today. I barely ever go to this gym but I was convinced by my black card membership holder friend to join him today. After the workout I joined him for hydro massage. I was not aware that only black card holder was allowed to use hydro massage. I was in the massage room for under 30 seconds when this worker named -Alie, walked into the massage room and rudely told me that she will shut the machine right away as a guest I am not allowed to use it. Again, rules are rules but if someone is not aware of it, you should tell them nicely and politely, not with such an aggressive and rude tone. Her way of dealing with us was extremely unpleasant, and made me feel unwelcome. I hope they teach their staff to deal with members with more respect and kindness while explaining rules rather than such unkindness & attitude.

Expérience négative: An employee made a mistake in my account payment information and stated that I had to pay the amount of $97, claiming that it was not my fault and that it was an administrative error as a result of the worst experience, because it is unprofessional to advise anyone to register with you and then I repeat that matter even if you delayed the sports relationship in Canada because I had cancelled my subscription

I love going here but the some of the members here reeks they stink up the gym. You can try to avoid them but they are everywhere. Almost every time I go the BO is overwhelming and I have to leave early. It sad because I love this gym.

Expérience négative: When I went here with my partner the women staff working there ignored the fact that after our workout we wanted to be have me as his guest of his black card. She told us she can only have him use the hydronic message chair and not me with the black card. I looked it up on their website and it clearly states your allowed to have one guest with your black card. Poor customer service skills with staff there. They should know the place if they are employed there. Apparently not.

Expérience fantastique: There is a huge variety of equipment for all of our needs, the app is amazing at tracking when it's busy or giving video guides, and the staff are all very friendly and receptive, bending over backwards to help make your experience the best! We keep coming back to this location for a reason!

Expérience négative: Lots of hidden fees to cover the lower costs but you end up paying cheaper at other gyms for a better experience. Outdated equipment, not super clean and staff that aren’t helpful. Bathrooms are also rough One pro is the app. Otherwise not a good experience

Expérience négative: Their hours have changed on Fridays. The new hours close as early as 10pm. That’s terribly limiting, some of us have full time jobs that finish in the late evening and others have 2-3 jobs. Please fix your hours back.

Expérience négative: I have been a member of this gym for 5 years. Yesterday April 30th, 2024 around 9:45pm, I visited my local gym to work out but to also get a new key fob as I had lost mine. The staff absolutely refused to give me a new one.. they not nicely informed me that I HAD to use the app... I do not have a phone capable of having the app, so they MADE me say my private phone number out loud, which I am not comfortable giving out in a public space, In order for me to check into the gym... like i get they are encouraged to promote the app BUT this is ridiculous I PAY to attend this club and for them to refuse me something as simple as a key fob is literally outrageous. When someone tells you they cant use the app the answer isn't "TOO BAD".So I drove LITERALLY to the other side of the city and went to the club on pembina today May 1st 2024 and they kindly gave me a new one no questions asked. I also called the new st vital location to see if I could get a new one there and they said that it would be no problem.. so WHY is it a problem at the polo park location.. if you are a new member looking to sign up I DO NOT suggest going to the polo park location as the staff were rude and they WILL refuse a means of checking you in on your own. What happens if you don't have a cell phone, or you go late at night when staff members aren't at the desk. So unprofessional and very disappointed with their services, I do not recommend this specific gym to attend.

Expérience fantastique: I have to say the morning crew at the PF Ellice/PP location are absolutely delightful. Amanda and Jordan are ALWAYS pleasant, professional and most of all fun first thing when I walk in at 6:10am. They always have a smile on their face and make me feel like family. It's makes to a great start to my workout. Both keep the gym extremely clean with Jordan always buzzing around working non-stop! She is AMAZING!!!! Shout out to the weekend crew too; Ally and the other young girl, cannot remember her name off hand but also very friendly and full of smiles. Expérience négative: Around 8 PM on March 25th, I experienced a disappointing lack of assistance at the gym. After accidentally spilling water from my bottle, I approached a staff member for help. However, instead of offering assistance or even acknowledging the situation, I was met with a dismissive attitude. The staff member instructed me to clean up the spill myself while they continued chatting with others nearby. I felt so humiliated, and at least she could have come with me to help out.

Expérience fantastique: The monthly price is very reasonable. I appreciate that PF is a judgement free zone. The facility is clean, and organized. The machines are not archaic and a nice atmosphere there while I’m working out.
