Fantastic experience: I been going maybe 2 months and is incredible place for the money that we are paying!!! The classes are wonderful!!! Olga for Zumba is the best ever. And have sauna!!!!!

Negative experience: This has been the most unorganized and ridiculous gym i have ever been to. I had to close my membership because I was having trouble getting here for workouts because of location and the traffic and the time that I have available. They seem to understand when I gave my notice. They said they weren’t gonna charge me the yearly fee because it was due right at that time the same week that I was quitting which is $87 Not only did they charge me the 87 but they had the nerve to charge me the following month for the $19 which is supposed to be a 999 monthly fee. When I went into complain, the girl was emotionless and could care less about my problems. Said she was refunding me. It would take 4 to 6 weeks even though they take their money whenever they want. I would never recommend this place ever ever. I’m sorry I recommended friends here. I’m gonna apologize that I’m in person. If I can give a lower rating than a one, I definitely would. Don’t go here.

Negative experience: Edit: Everything below is still true. The staff are stellar people doing their best to help folks out. Be kind! But corporate needs to figure out a better system for maintaining equipment. Last workout, 6 machines were broken or needed repair. They have a pile of qr code tickets on them, but no one comes to fix them. The men's sauna is broken. Some of this stuff is going on 8 weeks now. Once they get this sorted out, it'll be back to 5 stars. Did I mention the staff are awesome? Really great. --------------------- Genuinely love this gym. Everything I need to build a healthy body plus kind and friendly staff who make an effort to make you feel welcome. They seem open to growing and improving, too, which I appreciate. Added bonuses: they have a big selection of arm-independent plate-loaded machines, awesome sleds upstairs for pull/push work, and a weighted farmer's carry treadmill. Great gym staffed by great people.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome right away. Taylor is the GM and she is absolutely amazing to deal with. I've had the pleasure to meet most of the staff including; Logan, Keira, Kaleb, Jon Jones and others are very kind, caring and helpful. The gym is always clean, and the equipment is well-maintained, so I never have to worry about broken machines or long wait times. One of the best things about Crunch Fitness is the variety of workout options. Whether you love free weights, machines, or cardio, there’s plenty to choose from. The atmosphere here is unbeatable. Everyone, from beginners to experienced lifters, feels comfortable. For the price, which is SOO cheap and affordable, Crunch Fitness gives you amazing value—24/7 access, spacious locker rooms, and even amenities like hydro massage chairs and tanning in some memberships. If you’re thinking about joining a gym, I 100% recommend Crunch Fitness.

Negative experience: Although I cancelled my membership (one reason being all advertised machines weren’t available ) in the first week of February, they charged me again on Feb 19 and sent an email saying they needed another payment despite the cancellation. This is unfair and unacceptable. Sharing here so this scam should be exposed because from my experience and online reviews, I would only be wasting my time if I called someone to refund me.

Fantastic experience: Out of all gyms I’ve been to this is the best one. The equipment, staff, music and vibes are all amazing and the people here are very easy to get along with. My experience with David was great and he is very knowledgeable about all memberships and overall gym knowledge. Jon and Ben are both great PT’s and Taylor has the gym always looking good. Great place to workout!

Negative experience: I put my name down in January 2024 for their $1 enrolment fee promotion when they were scheduled to open in February 2024. They kept on postponing the open date and the last email I received from them was in May 2024 stating that they would open on May 31, 2024. No communication at all from them since then and all of a sudden my card was charged $82 on January 20th, 2025. I never signed anything and didn’t even know they were open! When I questioned them, they ghosted me. I’ve been waiting for a refund since I did not approve of this charge and didn’t even know what it was for. While waiting for a response, my card was charged again, 3 weeks later for $102.78. These charges don’t make sense and they are randomly taking money out of people’s accounts! STAY AWAY from this place!!!

Negative experience: This Gym is a total SCAM and money hungry. First of was supposed to open in January 2024 but opens a year later without notifying and further as I checked I was charged my first payment I went in and canceled. A week later I got charged $83 and they said they need a month notice to not charge anual fee. Literally no one in the customer team wants to help with the issue and basically asks you nicely to suck it up. Will be making a consumer protection complaint against.

Negative experience: Gym didn’t let me know about the yearly fee, it came as a shock, there was no communication about this.

Fantastic experience: The best plate-loaded equipment in the city. Friendly staff! Plus state of the art cardio equipment ranging from push sleds to hitting the bag.

Negative experience: I’d give ZERO stars if a could. Complete scam this place is!!! I Signed up over a year ago. Was supposed to open early 2024. January 20th this year I got a charge of $74.99 and didn’t even know the gym was open! I have had zero communication with them regarding opening, being billed, etc. I’ve called and the first girl couldn’t get off the phone fast enough. After not receiving a refund I called again. Very helpful gentleman but he told me the refund was never requested!! Garbage! I was also told to email head office regarding my refund, but try finding an email address anywhere! The gym didn’t even know what the email address was. Nothing on the website etc. Fast forward til today and I was just charged ANOTHER $97!! I called. And the poor nice kid on the phone got an ear full. He said the last cancellation request Had a note from head office that there needed to be 30 days notice. Im sorry, what?? I didn’t NOTICE I was being charged for a membership until Jan 20 I called to cancel the 21st. Yet I was just charged $97 today!! I’ve now paid $172 in the past 23days to a gym that’s supposed to be $9.99/month?? This feels like robbery or a complete scam!

Negative experience: Very rude staff. Spoke to someone who claimed they were the "manager", he ended up hanging up on me and even mentioned the plans the gym was offering were scams. He said it was a marketing ploy to get the most money out of people. He included "I dont get paid enough for this", then proceeded to hang up on me. He also answered the business phone with just a "hello", no indication of a business. Thanks, but I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. Feb 13, 2025 at 10:15 am. In case the business wants to know who was on staff that day. I will also warn my coworkers as we were all planning on signing up. Good job!

Fantastic experience: Kaleb made our first few experiences at crunch outstanding! He was very welcoming and encouraging and has amazing customer service. He explained the options in detail, gives a great tour and is very efficient and friendly! Thanks for making our introduction to Crunch amazing Kaleb!

Negative experience: The staff is ok but they need to do something productive like cleaning up the machine or checking on the machines if they are working properly when I used to work for another gym I go beyond my job to check on the machines and clean up the machines

Positive experience: Signed up recently. I'm surprised by the low rating, but I understand when I read reviews regarding the long delayed opening. I don't know about before, but it's open now. Staff are friendly, machines are available every time I've gone so far. Their hours are a little short in the evenings on weekends, otherwise I'd give them 5 stars.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with this gym. I signed up for a membership two years ago, but the gym was closed for over a year, and my contract had already expired. Recently, I was charged $78 for a membership without any prior notice or confirmation that I was still a member. To make matters worse, they called me earlier to ask if I wanted to rejoin, and I clearly stated that I wasn’t interested because I’m currently a member of another gym. Despite my response, they charged me two weeks later without my consent. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of transparency and respect for customers. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone. Be cautious about signing up!

Fantastic experience: Cheap and you can actually get a machine during peak hours. Great plate loaded machines

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at crunch fitness . I approached the general manager with a concern, but they were rude and uncooperative throughout the interaction. Instead of listening and trying to resolve the issue, she dismissed my concerns, spoke in a condescending tone and refused to help. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in a customer service role. I was hoping for a positive experience, but this interaction left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a member. I would not recommend this gym unless they address their management and customer service issues.

Fantastic experience: This gym is the best gym in Winnipeg. In terms of friendly staff, cleanliness, best and different machines from other gyms, prices in which they offer so much and at last they have the best music playlist that I dont feel bad even if my headphones die while working out.

Fantastic experience: I signed up three days ago, and my experience has been excellent so far. The registration process was quick and easy, which was a great start. The pricing is very budget-friendly, offering great value for the services provided. The gym is well-equipped with almost all the tools needed for a professional workout session, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced gym-goers. Additionally, the changing rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I’m very satisfied and looking forward to continuing my fitness journey here!

Negative experience: I had a bad experience. I had to cancel my subscription, it felt impossible. Transferring me from person to person. The staff was rude, and did not communicate with each other. They didn't open for year, and did noy update anyone. I would not recommend it.

Negative experience: I don't normally give reviews but this gym is such a hassle to deal with, horrible management and hours. Trying to cancel alone is such a headache. I would go during business hours and the doors would be locked then once I finally talked to someone I was told I'd get an email for cancellation. When I got the email I received a call same day saying that I still had to come in and cancel in person. I told them I got the email and the guy on the phone laughed and said "oh really you got one? Well you still have to come in to cancel". This gym is more concerned with posting ig videos of how great the gym Reno's are coming along rather than focusing on managing the gym. To ppl looking for a budget friendly gym membership with good management I recommend you go to planet fitness or fit 4 less (which is actually open). I can't speak about other Crunch locations outside of Winnipeg but this Crunch is not a gym it's a waste of space and a headache. If I could I'd give zero stars.

Negative experience: Called at 12pm (during “open” hours) to see what’s going on since there are several 1 star reviews - phone didn’t ring, just went straight to voicemail. Seems like this isn’t legit, not sure how/why I’m getting so many advertisements for a fraudulent company.

Negative experience: I’m unable to cancel my membership.i signed up in January and it’s September, the gym has not opened. No updates at all. I’ve tried emailing and calling every week for months. They have my credit card information and I would like to cancel.

Negative experience: Delayed opening by almost a year and they are not sharing any information to those who actually paid and signed up for memberships. At the very least they should provide an update once or twice a year, this is ridiculous

Negative experience: Update: I received an email stating Crunch canceled my contract —no documents were signed. In addition, I was not refunded monies owing to me from when I signed up. I have sent an email, with the expectation I get paid or I will end up filling an application for small claims court. Businesses must be held responsible. Crunch fitness has turned off comments on Instagram so people can no longer complain. This is problematic behaviour and is also predatory as they continue to ask for people to sign up. UPDATE: I went to go cancel my contract and the craziest thing happened… there was no one at the gym and they left the doors completely unlocked. I checked around for staff… no one was in their office…. No one was on the main floor… there was no car (except for mine) in the parking lot. This place is very dysfunctional and should obviously not be in business. I don’t know how their CEO (Wes Hodgson) lets this happen. Maybe it is the norm. Anyways, finally received an email… after I told them their door was unlocked. They said they would be open May 31st. Well, rumors are going around that they won’t be open still. They have pushed this date back while people have cancelled their gym memberships months ago. I intend to cancel because if they are unable to communicate effectively to their customers—except when they push sales— then this is a business that is not worth my dollars.

Negative experience: I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone for months. No updates, no response to any communication. Even my emails won’t go through now. I signed up as a “member” 6 months ago!

Negative experience: WORST EXPERIENCE … gym is supposed to open at the begining of this year and once I joined it’s been almost the end of the year and gym is not yet open plus now their office is closed and no one responding on calls or texts . Hopefully they don’t one day withdraw all my money out of my autodeposit

Negative experience: Is this place a scam??? Was supposed to open June 1st, we are half way through June now and no updates. Constant ads for pre-sale and membership options but no updates whatsoever on an opening date. Went a couple of times during the "Open" hours and its always locked and no one there. Tried calling the numbers on the front door to ask questions and can never get through to anyone. I cancelled my membership at GoodLife for this opening date, stuck without a gym now. The close proximity to my work is what made me want to switch to Crunch, would be nice if this place was legit.

Negative experience: Got there and the gym had a “on break” sign. Then we waited in the parking lot for over 30mins. No one came. Also, what kind of gym closes so their staff can go on break at 3:30pm? So unprofessional!
