Positive experience: Thanks for renovations and adding a water fountain. It is nice to have card operated massage chairs. Since construction started the music got extremely loud that prevents our peaceful enjoyment of the gym. I hope this will be considered and corrected immediately.

Negative experience: I'm trying to come up with a reason to stay at the place but I have none. They keep raising my fees yet more and more machines are broken and never fixed. The place is filthy most of the time paper towels and cleaning spray are empty and clocks have been missing for almost a year. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is just frustrating

Negative experience: I really didn’t like my experience at this gym I got harassed and felt watch the whole time during what was supposed to be staff hours even though there weren’t any staff. Horrible maintenance and really bad machine.

Negative experience: Horrible environment; awful gym members that treat people like garbage. Type of people to steal a machine or have a bad attitude. Poorly kept machines, unstaffed even during staff hours time to time. Do not recommend.

Positive experience: You kind of get what you pay for. Great value, but there's no water to drink outside of the washroom tap water. Also, some workout equipment is limited (only two benches for bench presses ). Equipment is often malfunctioning and takes months to be repaired. No free squat machines as well.

Negative experience: This would be 5 stars if they fixed broken equipment. I've been walking by the same broken equipment for months. No fix in sight. Everyday there's something broken. Who breaks this stuff? How?! I've been going to gyms for most of my life and I've never broken anything, even when lifting super heavy. It seems some destructive person is destroying everything and the staff keep letting them come in instead of expelling them. FIX THE EQUIPMENT! Planet Fitness is open now and I'm switching because at least they have new equipment.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at this Fit4Less location for 3 years and I have to say the staff are extraordinary, specifically I have noticed the Saturday staff are particularly exceptional. I came in 2 Saturday's ago and the girls were just radiating positivity. They walked around the gym multiple times to check the facility and were always smiling and conversing with customers. These two girls make this such a welcoming environment, truly such hard workers. Keep up the good work!

Positive experience: I have been a member for more than 5 years now. Main reason is that it is open 24/7 and I like to go early, like 3 or 4 a.m.. But at that hour the facility is generally dirty unfortunately. I am almost tempted to try out the competitor that opened this month on Mer Bleu. But it is farther away for me and I guess I can put up with dirty floors and paper towel bits scattered all over. And sometimes empty spray bottles and paper towel dispensers. I just trudge over to another station! Sometimes the strengthening machines take a while to fix, in particular the leg presses. So good enough and certainly can't beat the price!

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this location for more than 2 years and recently, I receive a hostile treatment from the club manager. I forgot to bring my card and asked her to let me in. Usually, staff will check my identity and that’s it. But this manager asked me rudely how many times I forgot my card. I got shocked. Who counted? Told her 2 times. She accused me of lying because she remembered it was more than that. Then she let me in while threatening me she would check how frequently I swiped my card. Another speechless situation. I handed her my ID and she checked. Couldn’t find my name on the system, the way she talked to me was so disrespectful. At that point, I told her I was feeling very uncomfortable because of that. She accused me of having that feeling because I checked her ID. No, it was not. When anyone is treated like a criminal repeatedly in a short duration, they should have the same feeling as mine. I took my ID back and left with a big disgusting rock in my stomach. If she couldn’t use the database properly, she should receive a proper training. If she couldn’t have minimum customer service skills, she of course should receive another proper training. It’s not about what happened, it’s about how she should have handled it differently.

Positive experience: This is a "bring your own WD40" type of gym. Most of the machines have weirdly stiff bearings. Once a machine is broken (which is often) it's for a super long time, there's no water fountain for some reason so you have to use the sketchy sinks instead, super crowded from 2pm to midnight on week nights, they rise their prices every once in a while but it's ALWAYS super clean. There are a bunch of changing rooms and lockers which is nice, there's a small empty room for cardio exercises, plenty of dumbells and a tone of cardio machines. This type of gym is great when it's new but goes downhill later on. With a brand new planet fitness opening near this location at a similar price I don't see any reason to pick this fit4less over the new gym unless you've payed the sign up fee already.

Negative experience: You literally get what you pay for. A piece of equipment has been out of service since when I signed up 3-4 months ago, don’t seem to be in a rush to fix main equipment, which is lacking already (ex. Cables). Bare minimum equipment. 24/7 but no showers or fountain. Gets really busy where you need to wait for equipment. You can only scan in every 30mins, so if you forget something at home/car, you need to rely on staff to buzz you in. I’ve had to call to be let in although the staff were present.

Fantastic experience: I only use the cardio section and generally during non peak times, it’s usually quiet. The times I’ve been during peak times there are still usually available machines provided not too many are out of service which can happen but they have been good about fixing them quickly for the past few months!

Positive experience: U get what you pay for I suppose. Clean facility and 24/7, the gym gets really busy during the week but never to the point where you have to wait for equipment. Perfect cheap gym if you go to actually workout and not fool around and socialize. Wish dumbbells went past 75lbs

Negative experience: Customer service is lacking… the desk is often unattended- when you go find them to use the massage chair or hydro bed they seemed annoyed- the gym itself is fine - not too crowded in the mid mornings- just adding the staff( some)seems so uninspiring and lack zest of anything

Negative experience: Pretty busy spot but noticed a decrees in cleanliness with all the people coming, which made me stop coming completely. Kept my membership for the "just incase" days that I wanted to go but really did not use it. When I called Place D'Orleans to cancel my membership the front desk worker refused to cancel it for me and said I had to email even though there is no email listed on their website and their website directs you to call or visit the club, he kept insisting to just give me the email. After being a little frustrated with this I called the Walkley location and they cancelled it for me even without it being my main club took maybe 1 minute of their time. I had visited with Walkley a couple times after stopping at Place D'Orleans and I found my experience better with nicer staff, still lots of people but the location was cleaner even with the amount of people.
Fantastic experience: The front desk crew here in place d'Orleans fit 4 less and are super dedicated. They keep cleaning and cleaning without complains you guys rock, and your hard work to keep this place clean is noticed if not by everyone, but I do, and I appreciate it so much. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Banger gym. Been going since summer of 2022 and it is by far the best one I have frequented. Went to many others and none compared to the value here at fit4less. Only thing at this one specifically is that there is no water fountain on premises so don't forget your water bottle. Bottles can be refilled from the bathroom tap

Negative experience: Fit for Less Management, the gym is seriously lacking sufficient bar clamps/clips/locking collars. I have asked the counter staff on multiple occasions to re-stock these safety items but nothing has happened to date. I suggest you review the safety protocols of all your gyms before you get served with a negligence lawsuit under the Ontario Occupiers Liability Act.
Negative experience: Lady I spoke with was being borderline racist, rude and condescending (Orleans location Indicated she was a manager. She refused to provide her name claiming she’s not aloud because she hasn’t verified my membership ID which I don’t have ( I have my black bracelet and another lady already verified me as a member All over a dispute over my membership status because I wanted to cancel and asked for my annual refund as I no longer have intentions to use fit4less I also haven’t used my membership services for atleast 6 months. extremely unprofessional with how they handle customers and resolutions. I strongly do not recommend I had issues when I first signed up with the black membership making sure I got everything included in my package and picking up my. Bracelet as I had to go to a different location then what was selected as my home location and there was no one working that location when I had gone to pick everything up And now with my cancellation issues it’s apparent customer satisfaction is not something they care about

Positive experience: There are a lot of pieces of equipment down at any given time and many of the bench’s are cracked. Hopefully this will be fixed soon? Well that was 10 months ago and nothing has changed. For the last 3 weeks, there have been at least 7 pieces of equipment out of service and about 1/2 the seats or benches have cracking. Some are minor (just starting) and others have holes right down to the backing material. A huge infection control issue! Also a comfort level as the cracking digs into the back of the legs. I asked a staff member about 1 of the machines and she said when there are 2 machines the same, there is no priority to fixing the first one. Does Head Office not know that there are 2 because they are popular? Staff are friendly and keep the place clean, just a maintenance problem!
Fantastic experience: The gym is open when you’re ready to work out, 24/7. Massage chairs and beds are available during the day when the gym is staffed. Location is easy to access and there is plenty of parking.

Negative experience: I changed my bank account details for the bi-weekly subscription. Four days after this change, I received an email from them telling me that I missed a payment. I called them on the same day and the phone staff member told me that the system takes 5 days to update the payment information and that I will be refunded and all I needed was to email "Anna", the manager. I emailed Anna but she never replied my email. I found out today that the 25$ penalty as a result of the delay in their system was still withdrawn from my account. I called again today and Anna answered and asked me to resend her the email. I resent it and she said she won't refund me because I updated the information only one day before the due date for withdrawal and I should have updated it 5 days before the withdrawal date for the bi-weekly payment. When I answered her email saying I didn't know the system takes 5 days to update the information, she didn't repsond. When I called her asking if she will refund me the 25$, she said she won't. This place will be reported to the consumer protection bureau.
Positive experience: You lose one star for the squat rack situation but overall sick and amazing gym
Fantastic experience: I use this gym four to five times a week. A new manager (Anna) took over few weeks ago. Since then I noticed a big improvement. The bathrooms are cleaner, floors are cleaner and equipment in general is more organized. Anna is often seen doing the work and not just directing. The other employees seem to be more engaged now too. Overall I like this gym and can’t beat the price. It is getting a little older so maybe some fresh paint in some areas would be nice and please install a water fountain!

Positive experience: member here for several years and it's fine, my only issue with these gyms is cellphone use. Everyone is staring at their phones constantly. Last week I got treated to listening to the guy on the eliptical beside me in a full on phone conversation with his buddy over his bluetooth earbuds. a half hour of listening to him yak while pretending to work out. Leave your phones at home or in your car, and come to the gym to work out!
Fantastic experience: Great Gym. Enough equipment to work with if you don’t go in super rush time. Staff is always working and making sure the machines, surrounding and supplies are properly maintained and cleaned.

Negative experience: It is usually pretty reliable, however, I had an issue with my card this morning where I couldn’t get through the gate. I arrived at 6:10 a.m. and there was no attendant to assist. So, Unfortunately I could not get my workout in. Unless there have been changes, they should still be checking for vaccine passports.
Positive experience: This a really good place to work out. They maintain good social distancing procedures.

Fantastic experience: You get what you pay for. It’s 24 hour access, but it isn’t staffed 24/7. Machines are in descent shape as they’re seemingly old - not state of the art and new. I’ve never had an issue, nor received any snobby attitude like I had done at other gyms.

Positive experience: Can get crowded, but good selection of equipment for the size of the location. No freestanding squat rack which is a major downside, otherwise I would have given four stars.
Positive experience: I have 2 complaints, 1) some machines have been out of service for more than a month now. 2) there is no water fountains, your only source of water is the washroom sinks which always Luke warm even if you let the water run for a while before filling up, I guess they want to force members to buy water from them.
Negative experience: I don’t mind this location. It’s small but it’s not usually super packed. My biggest complaint is, like others here, cleanliness. The last few times we’ve been here the paper towel dispensers have been empty and wipes have only been available at two spots in the gym. Other times, the paper towel is left on the garbage can - not even put in to the dispensers. It’s already bad enough that plenty of people are too lazy to clean the equipment after use but when you make it even more difficult by not having the supplies, it’s even worse. And I rarely see staff doing anything other than chatting it up behind the register - it’s not as if they are too busy to replenish supplies. This is the company that had the nerve to send me an email asking me to petition the government to allow gyms to reopen and yet, this location can’t get its act together to provide cleaning supplies to curb the spread of a highly contagious virus.
Positive experience: Gym equipment, size and location are great! My only concern is the cleanliness. Need stricter rules on cleaning machines after use. Many staff not noticing people not wiping down equipment after use. Putting weights away, not cleaning equipment. I always wipe down my machines before, just in case. But in my personal opinion, we shouldn’t have to worry about this kind of thing during a pandemic.
Positive experience: The free weight area has too many people working out for safe distancing. Not a fan of the use of terri cloth towels rather than paper towels for cleaning equipment after individual use.
Negative experience: I went to this location for the first time today and I hate it! 1) The gym is small and don't have a lot of equipments compared to others, 2) I saw many people not reracking or cleaning when they were done, 3) All the paper towel dispensers were empty and wipes were only at 2 spots in the gym, 4) they only have smith machines. I would recommend going to another location.
Negative experience: It's been a year plus of Covid and I still can't cancel my membership. They make it difficult to reach anyone via email or phone and you must visit in person to cancel which makes it almost impossible during Covid times. I was a happy customer until this horrible customer experience.
Fantastic experience: Update : I have opted to leave my last review as record of what it used to be... yes what it used to , I am glad I didn't leave this place did a turn around on the employee side customer relationship ... place us clean, pleasant I now go as much as I can I was going to the one on Blair road or Ogilvie... and I still go on the weekends because it's closer to my part time job ... yet please please reach out to management there the place is filty specifically the man's washroom... come on I understand the price is affordable but don't treat people like that... Not happy !!!! I can go on and trash the location but sometimes the staff makes me think of changing gyms ! I opted to continue working out home even tho the separation of work and personal life can be difficult, the staff needs a bit of more customer relations … customers are treated like children , fit4less news flash !!!!… you need customers /gym users as much as gym /users need to work out … but there always options to go

Positive experience: I think this gym is really great and all the machines are easy to use with clear directions on them that show you how to use them if you don't know, which I find very helpful. I can't give it 5 stars though because it's often overcrowded. One fit4less serves much too large of an area. More locations would be nice.
