Positive experience: Had our company Christmas party here and the food was great. Our server was a little bit rough around the edges though lol she was a little aggressive when asking if people were done with their food or drinks (the glass is basically full and she would be like you done with that?).

Fantastic experience: my partner and I signed up as members early March. this place has been a god send! The gym is amazing, sauna and steam is amazing. Food is the best in Vancouver. We work remotely and would often book rooms for our staff. Our business has 3x'd since working here. staff is absolutely wonderful! Social events are a blast! The managers Peter and Ian are exceptional! highly recommend this place to anyone on the fence! i'd give them 7 stars if I could!

Negative experience: We came here as an affiliate from DC. Our first night, we went to the Members Lounge and had a great time. The 2nd time, we came casually dressed because we needed a place to work, hang out before our flight home. We were told there was a dress code - no hoodies, no sneakers so we couldn’t stay. This seemed odd because I wore sneakers the first night I came. The idea of an enforced dress code seems ridiculous since we are already members paying dues, spending money and they are stuck in this idea of upholding a certain look where millennials/Gen Z don’t abide by. We were directed to a loud public pub when we just needed a quiet, productive space. The rudeness continued when someone barged into our elevator before we even got off. Total turn off, disrespectful. Good luck attracting new younger or diverse members.

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding last weekend and it was everything we could have hoped for. The service from planning to the dinner was 5 star, the food excellent and the room beautiful. This was wonderfully turnkey, the club handled the catering, bar, service and our wedding cake. Would highly recommend for any event.

Fantastic experience: Went to an event there last night, hosted by Avari medical, I must say the venue is ALWAYS beautiful and immaculately clean , the staff and service has always been top notch . The canapés that were served were tasty . I Had a lovely evening at the terminal city club

Fantastic experience: I celebrated my friend's birthday and visited the Terminal Club for the first time! This is the best service, very attentive waiters! I didn't remember the names of the girl and the guy, but they were young waiters, and even when my girlfriend accidentally spilled the wine, the waitress with blond hair cleaned everything up very quickly and professionally, without drawing attention to herself, and at the same time did her job like a true professional! This is very tasty food, and the best birthday party I've ever seen! Separately, I want to say thank you to our Bartender, if I’m not mistaken his name was Alexander, (maybe otherwise) but I remember that he was from Ukraine! This is simply the best bartender I have ever met, he told us a lot of information, mixed delicious cocktails, and always made our cocktails with a smile, my friend is a member of the club, and said that he is delighted with this bartender, and that he only comes because this guy energizing!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since 1994. It is bar none the best business social club in Vancouver for the up and comers to meet with the establishment.

Positive experience: I was at a conference there, for some reason the door to enter the place is not in the front, it’s around, and in the back alley! Very very weird. Did you get in and the place is extremely dark so it’s easy to walk into a post or person. And I wasn’t even drinking yet! Food was average at best, but I must say they really did pour some good drinks at the mixer later!

Positive experience: Previously visited Terminal City Club for business luncheons many times. Wedding is first. Good setting and decoration for the wedding reception. However they failed to offer consistent quality of food for the wedding banquet. Salad is usual - pre-plated so lack of freshness. The portion for the scallop and barley risotto is so tiny. Main course is filet magnon - pre-ordered as medium rare and turned out to be medium well. The filet is chewy and not tender. Two star dinner for this event. Given my prior dinning experience at Terminal City Club, the overall rating is 3 stars.

Positive experience: This is a members only place. There are conventions and gatherings of different sorts. My friend is a member and I was meeting him there for a late lunch. I was stopped at the main lobby before going in and waited until my friend got there before I came in. We headed up to the restaurant and ordered simple food items from the menu. The food was good and did not disappoint. We ate at the patio and enjoyed the nice weather. It is hard to recommend this place since it is a members only facility but I had a good time meeting my friend.

Positive experience: I and my wife had a good time ....also meeting with new nice people is always inspiring..the only thing I couldn't stop to wonder, was the disapproval and displeasure face of an old timer attendant,.I could've ignored him and enjoy my time,but as he started his service I felt like he wasn't realy happy giving us service or he wasn't a happy person at all....first word he started with as he came to our table was " move" no prefix or suffix not even an infix (like " move your head I'm putting the bowl on the table, or, move your shoulder...or...not just once)...anyway, I assumed clubs,restaurants, pobs...etc were the first and the best places to forget about our daily hard work,,,stress,,,forgetting an exhausting work day .perhaps we are facing shortage of labour or shortage of the world or shortage in .... I always try to understand and not to judge others.I also believe everyone of us has a responsibility and commitment to our society and to what we do...I believe that , taking a few minutes of our precious time and writing reviews help our society to grow rich,it would help us find better way of understanding and management.stay safe,( I also appreciate the efforts and all the hard times which our young and beautiful and upstanding attendants have had,specially during the Covid19 pandemic) may God bless us Thank you

Fantastic experience: The Terminal City Club is an excellent venue for professional and gala events. The Club is located on W Hastings in downtown Vancouver, one block from the Pan Pacific, and a choice of room sizes and amazing food options. Underground parking and hotel options make this a truly upscale option for your company to consider.

Fantastic experience: A remnant of the era when there were rich (white) men's clubs with all the appropriate comfort and decor. The building is dated 1916 I believe, and the place still seems to serve club-like functions, also corporate and other events. The food we had was delicious. After that, there is a super convenient way to go to the pub on the opposite side of the building, not by going out on the street, but by using an internal staircase that ends right in the pub!

Fantastic experience: This is very elegant and quiet place suitable for small group gathering or party. My friend hold charity party here. Service people is nice and professional. There is stage in the hall can provide the space for performance people’s action. The elevator of parking lot will be closed 8:00PM, please access the parking lot via entrance not elevator if after 8:00PM.

Positive experience: I had the halibut and it was fresh and tasty but expensive. The portion was small too. Please do not order the dessert there , it was terrible, definitely not a dessert place.

Fantastic experience: Came here for a private dinner party with friends. Nice intimate setting, private/friendly and attentive server. Food was exceptional. From the fresh shucked oysters, to the charcuterie board and finishing off with a seafood platter (mackerel, shrimp, tuna tataki), it all tasted heavenly. The mushroom risotto, lobster tails, spaghetti bolognese, asparagus, broccolini all complemented the main meat board nicely (a carnivore’s dream). Must have gained 5 lbs and was suffering from food coma. Contemplated asking for some wheelchair services which I’m sure they would have gladly provided given their top notch service, haha ;)

Positive experience: Update: visited again with a friend who is a member and hit the gym and spa/pool. All the facilities are super clean. Gym is fine, but the spa and pool are fantastic. We ate at the bistro as well, and the food was fine. Nothing spectacular. Visited the lounge at the Club yesterday, and had a lovely time. Excellent service, cocktails and the chips and dip are excellent.

Positive experience: Had a great time with friends who are members here. Arctic char I had was delicious. My wife's 7oz Flatiron Steak was perfectly rare. The lounge was comfortable and provided a great setting for conversation, some fine whiskey and a couple of games of pool.

Positive experience: I can rate it a one star or five stars but it's facilities cannot be enjoyed by non members. The facility is nothing to write home about. The food at a wedding reception was again ordinary when compared to food served at hotels downtown which do not claim club exclusivity.

Originally known as the Metropolitan Club, the Terminal City Club can trace its origins back to 1892, when it was founded by then-mayor Frederick Cope and a small group of local businessmen. In 1899, the Metropolitan Club wound up affairs, and was incorporated under the name of Terminal City Club. Since that time the Terminal City Club has remained an important Vancouver social institution.

I had the privilege of marrying a couple of their members this Sep (2020) during Covid-19 and the club did an impeccable job. Not only did they follow all Covid-19 protocols they did so without feeling authoritative, they made it dun, simple and easy. I was so impressed. Fantastic experience: My husband and I had our wedding here just this past month and it was absolutely amazing! We had to re-schedule 3 times due to Covid but they were so great with organizing and giving us a new date. I had a separate planning team for the ceremony but Victoria and Meghan were both stellar at helping make everything perfect. For us, food was the most important part and a major decision in picking a venue. Even though we had 1/5th as many guests, everyone raved about the food and not a single dish was disappointing :) we also got our cake done by their pastry team, which I highly recommend. Everyone at the venue is very professional, conversational and nice, highly recommend as your venue for a wedding since they have many different room size options!

Fantastic experience: A beautiful venue for any event. Enjoyed my time here while attending a wine learning session. It’s got a lot of history if you are looking for Vancouver’s original and historical architecture. Terminal Club also has a very fine wine selection and an elegant dinner area. A prestigious spot enjoyed by those who are members.

Fantastic experience: I came to the club for a presentation to an up and coming ride share company. The rules of not having phone convo inside makes the environment very peaceful. It was refreshing to see people sitting by each other as opposed to be on their phone. The bar environment is pleasant. There was a good vibe between the member who knew each other. I'll be back with my team next month !

Positive experience: I visit quite regularly for a regular business meeting, and while the facility is clean, the decor is pretty, and the greeters are nice and helpful, the food is sub-par and the waitstaff are unfriendly, noisy, and disruptive.
