Negative experience: I have an unpleasant experience at this club. I decided to apply for membership, this club was the most suitable for me based on geolocation. I tried to purchase a membership online, their website is constantly down. I tried to write to support, it turns out that such a page does not exist at all. Finally, I arrived in person, went to the registration desk, after which they told me that they could not help and registration is only online. I sat in the car for an hour trying to register and finally work out the training, but nothing worked. The administration did not try to help and was not interested in a new client at all.

Fantastic experience: Planet Fitness has been a wonderful Fitness gym. The staff add to the experience of a judgment free zone. Being a Black Card member gives access to everything available which great. Also I have brought guests with me and they loved the environment also. Can always get a great workout everytime i go, which is 4-5 days a week.

Negative experience: I recently interacted with a new staff member who appeared to be in training. Unfortunately, I found their communication to be quite rude and unprofessional, which made the experience unpleasant. I hope this feedback helps improve future interactions with customers.

Negative experience: They need to update their equipment and honestly they need to address the member hygiene. There are a lot of people that have terrible body odors. I understand the judgement free zone but the lack of hygiene makes it a very negative experience.

Positive experience: It is a very nice gym for price. I have somethings which I would love to see improvement on: 1. Ventilation: the area where I workout in front of dumbbells stinks like sweat, proper ventilation and air fresheners could make it better 2. Cardio equipment is at least twice as much as strength training equipment and half as utilized. Maybe replace some with strength training. I hardly find the squat racks available or the cable pulleys available 3. Water in the fountains tastes weird, not like the normal tap water, can you improve its quality? 4. Some people in the gym look violent, I have seen people swearing loud after lifting up heavy may be like as an accomplishment. Maybe its just me but I think it does not create like a very friendly atmosphere.

Negative experience: I told the girl at the front desk I wanted tan for 9 minutes in the lay down bed as I haven’t been in a while. I ended up falling asleep in the bed and woke up just before it hit 12 minutes. My skin is now burnt. I understand it was a mistake but staff need to be diligent in making sure the correct time is entered. If I wanted to burn my skin I would’ve asked for 12 mins.

Negative experience: Today was my first day. One of the lady staff at front desk was not at all welcoming. She was not interested for giving me a tour until i asked for it. It's creates lot of dislike to going back to that staff and plant fitness. As a new Comer there should be a lot of questions about plant fitness. As new Comer staff should be more welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic experience: It is a great facility and clean. The employee are always helpful and polite. Great place to go.

Negative experience: Air conditioning is broken Bad. 1. Air conditioning is not working properly/broken since May 2024. Expect 23-24C during your visits. This makes working out very uncomfortable and even unsafe (slippery). 2. Bad odour, because of the high temperature people are sweating profusely and emitting very obnoxious odours. Especially people from certain ethnic groups. 3. Very crowded. Can get very crowded during evening hours. You will be waiting for equipment. 4. There are not barbells here only the Smith’s machine. The dumbbells are 70 L pounds max. Good. 1. Personnel are friendly. 2. It is very affordable. 3. The gym is relatively clean. 4. There are plenty of lockers parking spaces available .

Negative experience: Overrun with Indies like the rest of South Winnipeg.

Positive experience: Less instruments. Small place but you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym. Cybex, Hammer Strength, and Life Fitness equipment. Good parking and easily accessible.

Fantastic experience: It's a non-judgmental experience that draws me to this gym. It has a positive vibe and also, the clean and modern exercise machines. It has everything that one needs to stay fit, for a very reasonable cost. When it comes to value for money, may be it's No.1 in Winnipeg, according to me!

Negative experience: Their manager, April goes the extra mile. I have rescinded this to say that they talk the talk but do not walk the walk. Said she would make a refund happen that never happened after many attempts of contacting her afterwards and an annoying, time consuming process to receive refund. Pretty shady.

Fantastic experience: Love this place, it's always clean, has great employees an always a positive atmosphere. The only thing I have against planet fitness is that they're not actually open 24 hrs everyday mon to Thurs day 24 hrs fri open till 10pm, Sat 7am to 7pm & Sundays 7am to midnight so for me who is up 5am for work every day I love being able to go at 3am so weekend tinr into a busy for me but maybe in the future it's something they'll change I hope fingers crossed.

Positive experience: Lots of equipment but congested between 6-10pm peak time. Better to avoid peak hours. Also massage chairs and hydro beds available for relaxing after workout. Washrooms, lockers are clean and well maintained. No punching bags available.

Negative experience: It is affordable but takes forever to fix frequently broken equipment. Crowd is mostly poor and retired. No running track inside, no swimming pool nor do they offer any classes.

Positive experience: Like the environment around the gym, perfect gym for new as it is much more affordable then other gyms around. It has great staff and also the whole gym is maintained well. The only thing I miss is the training sessions they use to have.

Positive experience: Overall great gym just not enough machine when it’s get too busy Price is very low for membership

Negative experience: Requires more weight training instruments. More sets of dumbells and a wider range of dumbell weights are required. Cables are not smooth. Limited types and number of benches. Decent crowd and close to bus stop and other convenience. Update: One of the cable machines is broken. With only one cable machine the gym can expect long lines and frustration amongmembers.Currently this is a very popular machine and I believe adding a few of these can help a lot.

Fantastic experience: The staff is exceptionally friendly and kind, and the gym remains clean even during crowded evening hours.

Positive experience: Sign up requires a bank routing number, but the gym was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful!

Negative experience: Too crowded, the machines are not well maintained. Not worth the money.

Positive experience: Gym is good. Mostly busy in evening times 4-7 PM. Changing rooms and lockers are most of time clean and good.

Negative experience: The express workout area is a good idea, but the rules are enforced. My wife and I quit because of this.

Fantastic experience: It has the amenities that I need to do my daily workout. The idea of $15 a month is brilliant; it removes the guilt of paying for a program that you may not be able to go to. I mean, $15 is affordable to “waste” if you happened to fail to go for your exercise.

Fantastic experience: Granted I went in the evening but definitely a busier gym so might be better going earlier in the day. However I was able to use all the equipment that I need to use and everything seemed to be in clean and working order. Also the bathrooms are clean and the showers were in great shape too. It was actually nice to have a shower with two different shower heads in a gym! Never seen that before so would visit again just based off that alone!

Positive experience: Very clean, lots of equipment and convenient hours. Lots of parking and easy to get in and out of this parking lot.

Fantastic experience: It has the big open space set with variety of good equipment uses and selections that its a good place to loose weight with some equipment kb targeted limb parts of your body to help the muscle knots off your body and using the spa area for black card members only so it's a good place to have both muscle gained and relieves muscle pain and massages to help that all out

Negative experience: The showers are absolutely filthy between 7pm - 9pm weekdays. I see no one cleaning them during in the these hours even though it is peak hours.

Negative experience: One of the biggest reason its 2 star because they let a bunch of highschool kids with free membership and they just really lotering around with the machine while others that actually work out is waiting for forever lol. No hate for the kids but that is just too much

Fantastic experience: The environment was very clean. The staffs were very proactive in making sure that the environment was clean which is very impressive.

Negative experience: If you’re a visible minority who might encounter a bad experience, please do not rely on Planet Fitness to care when it happens at their gym. I was discriminated against by another member at this specific location. The staff has his name, his picture, his information. As a Muslim woman who wears hijab, I take this very seriously. After countless emails, requesting phone calls that I never received, telling them I was not feeling safe with the member still being allowed there. Planet Fitness’s best effort was to let me know that IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN then they will ban the member. So they wanted me to experience it again, before they can actually do something about it. I was able to speak up and stand up for myself but that did not lead anywhere with management. And don’t ask me to contact you Planet Fitness because I have and you didn’t do anything except tell me how bad this racist felt. You did not stand up for me and made me realize it’s time to do better and choose better. My family and I cancelled our memberships too and I instead of you going through what I did, do not jeopardize your integrity or safety and consider a gym that will respect you and understand the importance of safety for women and for visible minorities. My coworkers and community members are hearing about this and will continue to. What a disgrace.

Negative experience: It does what it's marketed for but I'm not a fan of the purple look and there are too many cardio machines that no one uses and not enough weightlifting machines (that people actually use).

Negative experience: On my first vist i couldn't find any person working. Had to interrupt a members workout to ask them some basic questions, like were is the changrooms. Also if you lift heavy not a great choice of gyms. Limited heavy stuff to pick up and put down.

Positive experience: Great environment, feeling empowered and I can't wait to come back! Evening/nighttime staff (men) seem a bit unfriendly and rude... Other than that, this is the best gym experience I've had so far!

Negative experience: The good: The layout is pretty good. Staff are usually friendly. The price is unbeatable. And there's always cardio machines available. The bad: The ratio of cardio to free weights is very poorly balanced at this location. There is ALWAYS an excess of people utilizing the free weight area. It's crowded and hazardous. While the cardio area is never above 50% max usage & the "PF360" area is never utilized. There are no heavy free weights, squat racks or bench press racks. There also seems to be an inordinate amount of people who don't know about this great new product called deodorant.... The floors are always dirty and sandy. The lockers are typically dirty and wet from winter boots. They are not cleaned daily.

Negative experience: i dont know why they dont understand importance of everyones time . i am truck driver so i cant able to come in between their changing time same problem with my alot friend but they dont care

Negative experience: This place was kinda trashy today, we pay for the gym and water should be provided within a gym ?? the water was temporarily out of service and seemed out of their control nonetheless they should accommodate an alternative or notify via email beforehand not request the members to purchase water which is basically forcing a sale, it was cheap plus there was a discount so it doesn’t matter but u see my point . Staff are super nice tho so kudos on that!

Fantastic experience: Planet Fitness is the only reason I want to go to a gym. We live outside of the city and debated closer gyms but they don't have an undeniable price, extensive collection of easy to use machines, circuit room, HGTV playing 24/5, hydro massage and the cleanest facilities I have ever seen. Planet fitness just destroys all my previous reasons for not going to the gym and goes above and beyond what I would expect.

Fantastic experience: I like this location a lot always helpful staff and always a clean gym love working out really good prices and I stay near the place so I love the short drive

Negative experience: Was using the total body enhancement machine consecutively for the last 7 days after my work out. Came to this location worked out and now i have to go all the way to use the o use the machine i pay for access to. He also had no idea when it would be fixed so i guess this is no longer my home gym. Maybe ill sign up at fit for less instead since its closer to my home in st vital.

Positive experience: Pros: It's the cheapest gym chain in the city at $15 a month, and they have plenty of cardio machines. Cons: Extremely crowded at all times due to the low membership price, there is not many free weights, barely any dumbbells, not much space, and you can't squat/bench/deadlift which sucks. In my opinion it's an ok gym but not worth it unless you only do cardio. Your better off paying more for another gym if you can afford it.

Negative experience: Washroom hand dryers are not working from decades. Every other day at least 2 out of 4 smith machines with a tag ‘Temporarily Unavailable’. Free weights are just for leg presses. Tons of Cardio. 2 stars for now

Negative experience: The recent time change is very disappointing. I was not informed of it through email and ended up going to the gym when it was closed. Staff at this location needs to do a better job of communicating changes like this with its customers. Cleanliness is starting to become an issue. I never see staff thoroughly cleaning equipment like I used to.

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout, enough equipments, decent place and affordable. However I am not happy with new gym hours. One of the big reason why I joined PF is the 24 hrs deal

Fantastic experience: How can I choose what I like best when there is so much to appreciate? The monthly price is amazing and I'm not stuck in a contract. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I always see the staff cleaning and sanitizing, making me feel that much more comfortable with covid. The gym is spacious for everyone to spread out and keep distance. I think my favourite part is the "non-judgement zone" room that is tucked in the back. It helps me get myself to the gym knowing I can hide away and workout more privately. A plus to my experience is the locker room...I was worried I wouldn't be able to squish all my stuff in the lockers but they are surprisingly deep and can fit my winter stuff and a couple of my bags! I don't have to stress about what I can and cannot take with me.

Fantastic experience: Affordable, extremely clean, no weird people or smells. I'm actually pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this gym to anyone, you are honestly getting the best value compared to any competitor and at literally half the price with more perks.

Positive experience: The most friendly staff out of all the planet fitness locations. Would be good to have a Olympic bar and other equipment other than dumbells.
