Fantastic experience: It is one of the best. I usually bring my kids for swimming there. They have four different pools, a large hot tub and steam room. We always enjoy the services and facilities at the swimming pools. The other facilities include a large gym. Ice rinks, basketball court, badminton courts and table tennis room. They have also child minding services. There maybe more services, but I know of all those I mentioned. It is an excellent facility for a family to enjoy and stay healthy.

Fantastic experience: It is relatively new and gives you nice vibe to get involved in activity. Lots of people all ages come to exercise. Family frendly, clean, inviting.

Fantastic experience: Excellent pool! There are a number of different pools. One for tots, one main pool that increases in depth, one for lane swims and a hot tub (which is out of order as of Oct 2021). They have 1 waterslide, which my kids loved. Change rooms are a bit tight. No coins needed, lockers are free. Theyalso have swimsuit water extractors. I do not have a review on the gym or arenas as we didn't go there.

Fantastic experience: This is our go to pool. Nice warm wave pool, lazy river and our favourite hottub. Great place for the kids. Also lanes for lane swimming. Better to go on off hours to avoid crowds

Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic recreation centre, it has such an abundance of activities that there whole family can engage in. The pool was great temperature and the lifeguards were super helpful for my son to have his swim testing definitely will be back!

Fantastic experience: Only visited the pool and it was great!! No rental for lockers or any of the other items inside inside swim area. Lots of fun.

Fantastic experience: The best place to spend an afternoon as a family We came in from out of town and were disappointed when our hotel's pool was down We were recommended the Rec centre and were amazed by all they had to offer! I would strongly recommend you check it out!

Fantastic experience: Great place for some family entertainment or sports. Used one of the Multipurpose rooms for a birthday party and the services from the team and reception was great. This has become one of my top spots to recommend for events

Fantastic experience: Going there for quite a while. Great place for lots of activities. Pre-covid I used to swim and loved it. It's usually not very crowded. Good enough for lane swimmers. Lots of gym equipment to choose from. They have many trainer driven classes for various activities. Also, different amateur league games also take place here. Fantastic rec center close to our neighborhood. Post Covid, Rec center is still maintaining its quality. Keep up the good work. 25 July 2022: Nothing much to add about the rec center. It's still as good as it was.

Fantastic experience: Will be joining!!! Free weights go up to 125 lbs. I used to train like a powerlifter and the 100lb dumbells were always too light. Tons of equipment, Life Fitness being the big one. Only thing I wish they had was a sled and maybe a safety Bar fpr squats. The "Club" option for the private access washroom seems like a great upgrade! Given that they have a massive pool here, having a private access washroom is definitely worth it in my small opinion. Amazing selection of Cardio Machines. All kinds. Quality machines too! Only wish they had some Hammer Strength equipment. I really like their geometry and feel. There's 2 ice rinks I think. Never really checked out that side of it. They have a huge gymnasium that was packed full of kids. It's great to see kids getting active. Also has a Second Cup with a nice seating area. Very cozy on colder days for sure.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for years and Honestly havnt had a problem the life guards that were there were amazing and polite and kept an eye out on everyone

Fantastic experience: Excellent pool for families with many levels of swimming ability. Everything is kept well cleaned. Gym area is expansive with a decent indoor track. Large gym area for basketball, badminton and other sports. Bookable breakout rooms for events and birthday parties.

Fantastic experience: Have come here quite a bit as our kids were in SWAT hockey. Now, they are Millwoods hockey and still play here during the tournaments. Now, hockey is done. See you in the fall!

Fantastic experience: It's quiet at 5:30 am but still only managed to snag the last swim lane....so it's busy....if that makes sense. Newer facility, salt water pool which is key for me and these old eyes. Attentive staff

Fantastic experience: Good place. One just has to plan ahead and know what to expect. Better gym equipment than in most places. Most always in working order.

Fantastic experience: The family pools at the rec centre are fantastic. There’s a smaller pool that’s heated up and suits babies / toddlers and has a gradual access ramp in in to it. The larger pool is catered for any toddlers and over and has a wave function in it. There’s also spray cannons and drop buckets in this pool for the kids to play with.

Fantastic experience: The pool area here has a wave pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, diving boards and swimming lanes. It is THE BEST swimming pool in the city. The indoor play place is also one of my favorites. Inside the red center there is also a Second cup and a DQ. This rec center has it all. Prices are great for monthly passes and there is something for everyone!

Fantastic experience: Love this community center ! The daycare is great, and the staff are always really friendly ! Love the pool with the slides and whirlpool! There is also a huge heated "tub" and a steam room. The play ground is also a lot of fun for the kids ! Get a day pass for up to 6 family members, and you can use most of the facilities that day ! It's a great place to spent the day during a cold winter day ! Your family wont regret it ! Especially if you have little kids !

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym! Awesome prices and a ton of options for everyone. I was hunting for a new gym last year and checked out pretty much every option in town. I am very thankful that I ended up going with Terwilligar. Not only did they have one of the best prices but the facility is beautiful. There are more machines that you could ask for, it is always kept clean, and your membership grants you access to pretty much everything available, including a variety of classes, the pool etc.

Fantastic experience: Terwilligar is one of the best recreation centres in the city. Perhaps new ones in the north could be better. The place is generally clean and well organized. Can be crowded during holidays and many people regularly come to exercise. 2nd floor fitness is very exclusive with a running track and many equipments. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great place overall Ive been working out here for a year and a half. My only criticism is not on the staff but on the clientele. The etiquette on and around the running track is substandard. People walk slowly three abreast, blindly ignore the STOP signs at the track intersections, meander from lane to lane dumbly staring at their phones, etc. Anyway, enough negativity the place is cheap, pools are great and my son and I always stop at the DQ for a post swim ice-cream. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: My favourite COE rec centre. Huge range of classes for all ages. I love the coffee shop and child care services (staff in there are awesome!). The layout works well and the equipment is high quality and readily available during the times I come to work out. Kids love the pool too!

Fantastic experience: Pool is the warmest we've found in Edmonton and therefore great for babies and toddlers. Put a tiny person in the little rafts and float down the lazy river with them or enjoy the spray features. Best during slow times and when swimming lessons are not happening.

Fantastic experience: My 1.5 year old loves playing at the indoor playground. It's great because the way it's set up, the kids can play and you can see them from sitting. Everyone has a great time

Fantastic experience: New. Everything works. Friendly staff. The hockey change rooms are spacious and clean. The pool change rooms are small and not always clean.

Fantastic experience: Lane Swimming Pool, Fitness Cebtre/Gym, Walking/Running Track, Spin Cycle Room for Classes as well as Large Open Hot Tub and Steam Room. Water Slide and Wave Pool as well as Arobics Class Pool and Swimming Lessons. Facility also has Gymnasium (3x) for Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball and Zumba Classes as well as 4 Ice Rink Rentals with Public Skating. Open 5:30am-10:30pm M-F 5:30am-9:00pm Sat-Sun

Fantastic experience: Terwillegar Rec Centre is HUGE. The pool alone is a great size. 3 pools. 1 pool that can be made to different depths-which is cool, kid pool. Standard-nothing special, hot tub-which feels a tad warmer than other rec centres, but definitely like! I don't know thee exact height to the diving boards. I believe 3 different sizes. The tallest 1 has got to be thee tallest in the city for swimming pool diving boards hands down! Same with the the slide. Its far bigger than any other slides at any other rec centres!!! The wave pool is a plus and the whole place in general is so much bigger than say Clairview or for sure St. Albert Servus Centre. There is all the bells and whistles that all the other rec centres have. Hockey arenas, indoor gym, work out equipment, running track, indoor playground (which is huge too!!) & programs. The staff is helpful and friendly. What I thought was lame was the change rooms. Clairview Rec Centre has wayyyyyy better change rooms BY FAR! Terwillegar Rec Centre could have put far more into making a bigger and nicer change room(s.) That would be my only negative to that whole place. What I absolutely love is that they have a Dairy Queen and Second Cup!!!!!! Major plus!!! ;)

Fantastic experience: I have to say, in all the years coming to this gym, there has only been one lady with the best attitude at the front desk called Amanda. Thank you Amanda for a great customer service. Keep smiling! Only because of her I am giving 5stars everyone else should follow her steps.

Fantastic experience: Swimming pool is absolutely great for children! Water temperature is great. The change rooms are clean, even though they are always busy! Pricing for swimming isn't bad either! The slide is also very great as kids can go down, even if they can't swim! There is no pool at the end of the water slide, whereas most places the water you go into is very deep!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for about a year now. This place is pricey, at $11/entrance it is the most expensive of the public rec centers in Edmonton but the equipment is new, the facility is big, the staff is helpful if you need them and overall I find the facility to be clean, cleaner than most too. I just wish they would lower the price.
