Fantastic experience: I don't normally leave reviews on Google, but I cannot believe how negative the reviews of this place are. I work out at this recreation centre constantly, and I have also been to the pool many times. And they are both excellent. I was using the services before the newer developments and I was impressed with how modern and beautiful everything is now. The gym is well-equipped and even though it is reasonably popular there is always room for everyone. The pool has been clean and well supervised every time I've been there. I have no complaints. I really recommend it. Best of all, it is really affordable!

Fantastic experience: Went swimming with my kids at the wave pool and they loved it. I like that there is a kiddie pool but I kind of wish there was one that was in between in depth. My 2 older are able to swim in the waves alone but 2 younger aren't and my 5 year old didn't like the kiddie pool but my 2 year old did haha the inlet type pool was still a bit too "wavey" for my youngest. The perfect pool when my husband comes too.

Fantastic experience: Can't say much for the pool because I haven't been in there since childhood. The gym, renovations, staff and general localized area however are wonderful, this center is the highlight of the Newton area. It is a clean, nice place pertaining the friendliest and most helpful of staff. Walking into the center, I feel like I have escaped the drab concrete jungle into a pleasant and calm environment where I am welcome. Yes the wristbands are questionable, but if you are creative enough, they are hardly noticeable (I recommend putting the band on your shoelace or other clothing to avoid discomfort). If you think Newton is anything but special, this should be one building to have you reconsider. I recommend this as an excellent place for work and for its very accompanying facilities.

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool with fun for all ages. Includes a wave pool and water slides as well as a small play area with slide for younger children and a "paddling" pool for the littlest ones. Life jackets are available as well as pool toys and there is ample seating for parents who want to keep an eye on their swimmers. Lifeguards are present and active in enforcing rules. Drop in fee is only $3.50 per person.

Fantastic experience: Went with my five grandkids (4, 7, 11, 15, 17) and youngest son and we had a great time! The whole facility was very clean. The staff were all friendly. The water was perfect temperature. The waves were so fun. The 2 water slides were fast! There were lots of flotation devices available if you want one. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as family outing. And very inexpensive!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely for kids! There is huge slides, and simulated waves that go up from 6 feet to 7 feet high! Water splash and water Canon area is offerd here, as well as a hot-tub! Very fun for swimming!

Fantastic experience: Amazing pool, Very impressed with the slides there! Almost anybody can ride the slides, My moms pretty old, and she thought the slides were a blast! Heck, She couldn't stop riding them! Point is, Its an amazing place the half an hour drive was definitely worth it! I recommend it for all ages!

Fantastic experience: The Wave pool is tons of fun especially if you have kids, and if they​ are over 7 years old and able to swim on their own, they can have more freedom, plus there are 2 water slides. There is also a very shallow (pretty small) pool for babies to start getting comfortable being in the water. With a steam room and hot tub to relax. The have just finished making some renovations (added a new gym, updated the entrance/admin, a new play area outside, etc) & looking forward to checking them out.

Fantastic experience: All gussied up! Open, fresh, clean and modern looking! Can't wait for wellness section to open as well!! Would be nice if they had more desk staff at the beginning of public swim or separate area for public swim and class sign up. It clogs up quickly.
