GoodLife Fitness Windsor Manning and Tecumseh

Negative experience: This gym is too expensive for what it is. The inside is old and outdated. The locker rooms are not so nice. There is no ceiling inside. Dirty counter tops and very old lockers that are falling apart. A lot of older guys with no clothes are inside the locker room. The cheapest plan is still too costly for what it offers. At another location I would pay that price. They don’t even offer towels and the ultimate membership offers no more of an advantage than the basic one. This is the worst gym I have been to.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym, best GoodLife in the area by far! The staff is so friendly, and the setup is ideal for the given space. Mike made me feel so welcome when I first joined, and is always kind to greet me when I walk in. Definitely the best gym around!

Positive experience: This gym is well maintained and is very spacious. Spray bottles and paper towels are well positioned throughout the gym for easy wipe downs of machines after use. The staff is also very inviting. Mike from the front desk always has a positive comment to share when I walk in. The only downside for me is the men's locker room, but it's certainly not a dealbreaker when considering the rest of what this location has to offer.

Fantastic experience: First time coming to this Goodlife in Tecumseh and it was one of the less busy gyms I've been to in the region. The gym is pretty big, and has everything you could possibly need. It's all spread out, and has nice facilities. Gym is well kept and clean. Definitely will come use this goodlife again in the future.

Negative experience: Friendly staff and management. Men’s washroom is disgusting, showers etc is 40+ years old, disgusting mold. Most equipment is out dated esp compared to other gyms. Woman’s only section is in terrible spot, ladies have to walk by all the members to get to women's section= intimidating! Tons of wasted space at this location. It is time for a make over, this location should be a flagship goodlife facility esp due to the caliber of member’s that attend manning/tecumseh location. Imho!

Fantastic experience: The staff are amazing!!! I felt comfortable the minute I walked in the door. I am visiting from out of town and Jen went above and beyond. Find me some information.

Negative experience: If you're gonna get a membership here, wait till daycare season or "teen fitness" as they like to call it, is over. Gyms great. Having to deal with children hanging off everything, moving your stuff or using things they aren't supposed to, isn't worth the frustration.

Positive experience: Been a member for over 7 years! Love the gym, great atmosphere. Lately its been really overcrowded. Every other Goodlife in Windsor is 24/7. If only they would stay open to 12 like they used to, instead of closing at 10pm. I feel like that is too early. Otherwise would be 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I love this club- especially the Women’s section. Friendly atmosphere, very clean and excellent equipment. The Women’s section is honestly the best “gym within a gym” I have ever been to. It is always clean, there is a wide variety of machines and weights and most of all, the woman are kind and sharing. Great club.

Fantastic experience: This is my favourite GoodLife location. It’s not the biggest but it has all the equipment and it’s laid out really well. The club is always very clean, well organized and weights are correctly stacked. The staff is very professional and polite. Jen, the manager is a pleasure to work with and is very accommodating. Definitely recommend this club to everyone. I have no complaints about this gym and that’s very rare!

Fantastic experience: I was in good hands at this gym and i enjoyed it very much so but unfortunately I am canceling my membership and I can for sure recommend this gym to many ppl that live near by.

Fantastic experience: I've put on weight due to work and covid and wanted to get back in shape and improve my overall fitness. Over the last few months with my personal trainer Jermaine, we've made absolutely substantial improvements to my strength and cardio. I've shed ~8lbs of body fat in the last 2 active months. He personalized my workouts to fix my uneven left/right muscles, hip flexors, shoulder joints, and more! Even makes great programmer analogies so my programmer mind understands what we're doing! We do a wide variety of workouts with lots of free weights and machines available. This place feels like an extended family , shoutout to Jen and Richard for making me feel welcome and for the extra motivation.

This is what seperates this gym from ever other gym I've been to. I must say Megan really excels in this place and is hands down the best people person I've met!

Fantastic experience: Great place with top shape equipment. This place doesn’t have a pool but has nice studios. I tried out the cycling studio, all I had to do was book it on the app for the next slot I wanted and just show up. Great instructor kept me motivated. It gets busy at times, and that is a good thing. Tried the personal trainer program and loved every minute of it. I strongly recommend it.

Negative experience: Great staff, great location, great atmosphere. Should easily be a 5 star...however...I'm actually just about to start my workout but so frustrated ALONG with many others (seen in previous reviews) with regards to the operating hours at this location. There is no reason at all why members that have easier accessibility to Tecumseh and Dougall Locations should get more freedom with their workout since everyone pays the same membership fees. Please dont respond at all with a generic answer stating that theres no date yet or that you apologize for the inconvenience this has caused or even that the matter should be discussed with management. You already know that everyone has ONLY 1 request...please follow through with your commitment to the life long members, not only of this specific location but GoodLife as a whole. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, very clean however 5AM open time as it was in the past is preferred 6AM weekday is too late.

Positive experience: Long time member. Great to have gym open again. Very friendly Staff at Desk. Issue with start times. 6:00 am is inconvenient (esp. for people with 7:00 am work start times - check-in + workout + shower + drive to work = very difficult). Morning crew members are asking re: return to 5:00 am start times (and 7:00 am on Weekends). Thanks

Positive experience: Really appreciate the good work done by the management & staff to keep this place safe & open during these times. It would be really helpful specially for working class if this facility can be opened at 5 AM during weekdays & 6 AM during weekends.very tough to start work @ 7 or even 8 AM for 6AM opening. Really hope that management will consider this request. That’s the only reason for 4 stars otherwise excellent facility- 5th star loading ……, for 5 AM opening!

Fantastic experience: Im really happy with goodlife. Nice staff, on time open. Just want to request one thing they usually opened before 5am now it's 6am also weekend they start opening at 8am its very late. If someone can look for my request. I talked many members in the gym everyone saying 6am is very late for them. People need to start work at 7am. Also weekend is 8am it's too late.

Positive experience: We are connected to this goodlife location from almost 3 years. We like this place. The only issue we have is it opens at 6am before it use to open at 5am. Due to this timing change, I don't get enough time for workout. Lot of other people have same issue. I don't really understand why they change opening time from 5am to 6am. I hope administrator will understand the requirement of the members. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Gym is smaller than many other GoodLife locations HOWEVER, it’s made up for by the friendly knowledgable staff who give you the utmost quality of help and guidance. Yes the sign up fee is expensive, that’s out of their control. The trainers are so friendly and welcoming, really made me feel good when I applied and walk through each session. Ian specifically is a great trainer who takes his time with his clients and shows them the best ways to improve! Can’t complain one bit :)

Positive experience: Great gym but the hours are far too short for shift workers who work days and nights. I should not have to drive into Windsor to access a gym with my membership.

Negative experience: I had a membership here and left for Xanadu on Manning road. Good life is dirty, and lacks basic cleaning by employees especially in bathrooms. The showers are very basic almost like a high school locker room and there are very few amenities at this goodlife. I highly suggest Xanadu due to the constant air exchange and the constant cleanliness of the facility and machines.

Positive experience: Classes are good, equipment needs some updates. Spin bikes often need repairs. Wifi is not that great. And compared to other locations has very few amenities. Expensive for membership for what you are getting. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Poor management.

Negative experience: DO NOT APPLY FOR A MEMBERSHIP! They continued charging me after I cancelled the membership in January ($78 per month), noticed it today (lost $300+ for nothing). This gym chain behaves like a scum. Opened and investigation in my bank, going to my lawyer tomorrow. I'll sue you to the ground for wasting my time.

Negative experience: I'm a daily morning member of this location and they're consistently late with opening.

Positive experience: The people are great to work with. The only problem I've had is when another customer was harassing a worker for no reason, as it was something that the worker could not help.
