Negative experience: Sketchy

Positive experience: I’m from out of town., the location on tecumseh is good for the price. Hot showers and old school weights. Good tunes and good people. And it’s clean.

Negative experience: Home to some of the most predatory buisness tactics I've had the unpleasent misfortune of running into. Having signed for two contracts that were supposed to take place over a year for two monthly payments of 39.54 (which is already monstrously expensive for a gym) not ONLY did they increase the price of monthly payments MID contract but they also did not cancel my contract after the one year period. Now they refuse to refund me AND to cancel my contract because they are claiming I owe them more money. Please save yourself the stress and go somewhere else with your buisness.

Negative experience: I ve got a temporary membership 2022 for 3-4 months, because I had to move. In 2023 they discount their anual membership without my authorization. I sent emails and tried to get my money back in person but never received a reply

Fantastic experience: Jamie has immaculate customer service! Plus, the gym itself is unreal—has equipment for anyone and any goal! Definitely signing up—give Jamie a raise!

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership and still got charged the monthly fee, even though I had been told I would get a refund. I got charged a total of $140 because I cancelled my membership. Why is there a cancellation fee if you'd still charge me for the month? The lady I spoke to was so rude and off putting. Katie, you need training in Customer service because you do not have a hang of it. Before you sign up make sure you get all the details and terms.

Fantastic experience: Went for a solid detress session when I was visiting Windsor and if you're ever in the area I would 100% recommend going there for a visit if you live there that's the place I would be working out in. Family-owned small business. Clean and very well laid out and organized. The staff were kind. Personal trainers were working hard with their clients. The equipment was well maintained. And a great mix of both free weights and machinery. I didn't film my working sets but I had some skwaatz that day and they were feeling good. Fantastic experience: I just got a membership here a couple months ago. Facility is kept very clean and organized. The staff are friendly and work very hard to keep the gym looking good and clean. They have all of the required equipment to get the best workout you can get. They offer opportunities for small group training which I have not taken advantage of yet. Lots of the art provides inspiration during your workout and I truly love it. If you're looking for a great gym, and a very good price; this is your spot.

Negative experience: They do not let you cancel your membership I moved out of Windsor 3 months ago and had to email the CEO to cancel my membership after doing so he claimed it was canceled and I come to find out I am still being charged

Fantastic experience: Clean, friendly staff. Fair price considering all the well maintained equipment, 24/7 access, clean environment and any piece of equipment/accessory you could need is there (bands, kettle beetle, jump boxes, tire and a lot more)

Fantastic experience: Went for my first workout here today -- super welcoming and positive vibe from the staff and members. Range of equipment is really solid: dumbbells up to 120lbs, deadlift platform, suspension training, etc etc. The gym has everything I would want and membership fees are really affordable. Plus it's a local business! 10/10 recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I had recently come down to Windsor for a visit and was seeking a place to train during my stay. True Fitness was the first place I thought to reach out to and they set me up with a week pass right away. The second I walked in I felt right at home. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the equipment there is out of this world. As a bodybuilder, this gym totally met my needs in terms of training. I love that True Fitness caters to all athletes whether you're into bodybuilding, plyometrics, resistance training, etc. They have tons of cardio machines, cables, a smith machine, a deadlift platform, a squat rack, a turf spot, a sled, and some seriously nostalgic weight training equipment that is to die for. No stone is left unturned, this gym has it all.

It is a comfortable atmosphere with a relaxing and friendly environment to work out in compared to other gyms in Windsor that are too big and impersonal and others that are too expensive and clichy. They offer many different areas of fitness from group training, personal training, 24/7 access, workout apps for at home and in gym fitness programs, nutrition plans, fascia and massage therapy and nutrition products. Luis, Jessica and team are great people with your fitness success always their #1 priority for their gym members. The gym is extremely clean and always sanitized and they take every effort for you to feel at home. This is by far the best locally owned gym in town!

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym around. I have tried many gyms throughout the years and have never stuck with them. I have many health issues and the trainers at True Fitness has helped me get through and keep going and not give up. Many times I have had to take breaks because of my asthma or arthritis and each time the trainers have said “don’t worry we will continue when you are better. They give me the confidence to keep going and continue with my workouts. My doctor has told me that if I hadn’t gone to this gym at this stage of my life I would have been in a wheelchair with all of my issues. She is very pleased with the success I have made because of True Fitness. I love the fact that everyone knows you when you come in. Just like “Cheers” everyone knows your name. Lol. I would and do recommend this gym to everyone I possibly can and I would suggest that you come and bring your friends and feel great both emotionally and physically. Trust True Fitness to take care of you!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing atmosphere and wonderful experiences. I've been a member almost since it opened and I do not regret it at all. The training is hard and the results are worth it. Member health and safety is top priority and I never feel concerned working out.

Fantastic experience: Personal training and remote coaching: I’ve been a member at True Fitness for 2 years now and I think it’s a great gym. Luis is a very kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable life coach and personal trainer. I see results with him and the workouts are sick. Recently I had a very painful back to the point I was in tears and couldn’t sleep and he did the 1 hour fascia stretching that healed me and got me back to normal. Him and his wife care so much about their clients and business. They delivered equipment during the pandemic and designed an app with custom programs, video demonstrations of each exercise, pairing with MyFitnessPal and Apple Watch to track nutrition and sleep, zoom workouts. Staff and trainers are always friendly and inclusive. There are charity opportunities to partake in. Facilities: I’m not an expert on equipment lol but it works for me and has everything I need.Both gym locations are clean and sanitary. They’re open 24 hours with key fob entry which is convenient. Overall 5 star highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I called Luis after the gyms were able to open in August and explained my fitness goals. I knew id be looking for a trainer and after sitting down with him we assessed some options and he paired me with the most incredible trainer. She is quirky and driven and pushes me to never want to let her down. She is always smiling and is so knowledgeable that I'm learning as I train. Arsh at the front is always encouraging and welcoming. I absolutely love this gym and it's team.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with excellent trainers who know how to create programs to meet everyone’s needs. Another excellent feature is the 24/7 availability. The best feature is the 5 day program created by the trainers which include one day workout for the chest, another day for legs, then back, then shoulders and finally abs. You will not regret this choice of gym.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a gym where 1) you feel welcome 2) is clean 3) is open 24 hours 4) isn't a zoo full of people yelling and throwing weights around 5) your $ supports local and not a big corporation- then this is the gym for you! They have two locations and they are constantly improving things to keep the members safe. The owners are great people and I feel happy to support their business. The staff that works there are also very friendly. There's also nothing better than working out in the late evening with 24 hour access in a quiet gym!

Negative experience: If you want to quit the gym the owner is poor in getting it done . I have been fighting this person since last year to take me off the billing list. My contract ended last July and he is still billing my bank account. He is a piece of work, promising to cancel but it never gets done. I would never ever join this gym ever what i know now and have continually keep experiencing to date. Poor business skills and empty promises. I would not recommend this to anyone. Becarefull!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Great locally owned and operated business if you're looking to get in shape and don't want the big box gyms this is the place to go with two locations one on Tecumseh Road and one downtown staff is fantastic it's always clean especially the change rooms staff for very knowledgeable as well as personal training available supplements dietary plans everything you need to kick off your New year resolutions and get back that body you've always been looking for every month they run specials check them out again fantastic location I would highly recommend checking them out if you're considering joining a gym

Negative experience: First of all I just want to say that some of the trainers here are very friendly and very good at what they do. But overall this gym is a complete joke and the man running the show has zero Compassion or care for people. Not only did he pressure my friend into a membership she could not afford but when she tried to cancel it within the allotted time he basically bullied her into keeping it and made her feel like he was doing her a favor. Also, she already felt a little uncomfortable around him so brought a friend with her and he refused to let the friend in the office while they talked. She was so uncomfortable with what he did to her that she sent an email telling him she would not be returning to the gym and he could just keep all her money he then continued to place another phone call to her and threaten her legally. This place will go down, it only a matter of time until people see how you run your business. I appreciate your response... Over 1 year later but I was there and witnessed the disaster unfold and you defending this terrible behavior just speaks more to your character. This is exactly what you did to her. Also just to remind you, the only reason I was not in your office for the face to face meeting is because you would not allow me to enter with her even though it was what she requested, I was told to wait in the front chairs. She then exited your office crying, which is exactly why she wanted me with her, she knew how you were and you would not respect that. Cant believe your still open.

Positive experience: This is a good gym, staff is friendly and professional. I am leaving 3 stars primarily due to membership fee; other gyms are much cheaper. This particular gym's equipment and hours of availability do not make up for this high fee.

Fantastic experience: I went to inquire about becoming a member , the staff girl was super nice and welcoming, she gave me a quick guided tour and all information and options available to me. Like the atmosphere. Gym appeared to have all equipment at good condition and not super crowded
