Located in Shawinigan's Grand-Mère sector, **Mega Gym Maxi-Forme** is a premier fitness center that bridges the gap between traditional gym training and professional clinical care. Established in 1985 and expanded significantly in 2002, this facility is owned and directed by Yanick Fortin, a **certified Kinesiologist with over 36 years of experience**. Unlike typical gyms, Mega Gym Maxi-Forme prioritizes scientific, safe, and effective training methods tailored to individual health profiles, making it an ideal choice for beginners, athletes, seniors (ages 12 to 90+), and individuals undergoing rehabilitation.

The core of the service is **personalized training**. Every client receives a bespoke program designed by a kinesiologist, taking into account their specific goals, whether that be weight loss, muscle building, Ironman preparation, or managing health conditions like diabetes or hypertension. Private sessions are led by professional trainers who provide constant supervision to ensure correct form and safety. The gym also offers dynamic **group classes**, with a strong emphasis on **Spinning** (indoor cycling), where certified instructors guide participants through high-energy workouts that boost cardiovascular health and motivation.

The facility is well-equipped with modern cardio machines, including treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers, rowing machines, and stationary bikes. Strength enthusiasts will find a comprehensive selection of free weights and resistance equipment, along with a boxing bag for functional training. Amenities include **free showers**, a **sauna**, **air conditioning**, and **free Wi-Fi**. On-site, the gym stocks a variety of high-quality nutritional supplements from brands like XPN, BNI, and Cellucor. With flexible subscription options (3, 6, or 12 months) and pay-per-session cards that never expire, Mega Gym Maxi-Forme offers a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where professional expertise meets community support.
