Fantastic experience: Awesome gym! most defiantly the place to go!! I have gone there for years with my brothers, owner's are awesome and in my opinion best gym in the city, equipment for everything and anything! previous comments are kinda shitty and I highly disagree with the comments come try it out and decide for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Working in edmonton for a week . Figured I would give bull pen gym a try .this is hands down the best hardcore / bodybuilding gym I have been to. A rare gem . The atmosphere alone makes u want to lift more weight . Super friendly owners

Fantastic experience: I came back to this gym from working out here in the middle of the 90's. When I can in the music, equipment and the people who owned the gym were better and more like home! How were the people who owned the gym better? They are surviving the Covid pandemic as we all are as all small businesses are trying to survive. We are being drained of funds from a tremendous amount of places. We would also like to give to a cause for the right reason. I support small business and in this case I support Bull Pen Gym. Grant.

Fantastic experience: Started training at the bullpen 28 years ago at age 17! I love it! Everybody is encouraging, supportive, and full of beutyfull complements. They play loud rock and roll music that just bounces off the warehouse walls! Its got a big warehouse door that they always have open in the back and big industrial fans to keep it nice and cool! HARD CORE AND MOTIVATING! WITH "THE BEST EQUIPMENT EVER" TELL DEATH DO US PART!!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for the last 4 years and it's probably the best decision I've ever made in terms of my fitness goals. An old school feel gym with an unlimited number of machines for muscles you didn't even know existed! I've tried numerous other gyms in Edmonton and I honestly never get the same workout as I do here! Roger and staff make you feel at home. Like family.

Fantastic experience: Hands down my most favorite gym of all time. The staff are super friendly, and really go out of there way to help you in any case they can. No matter the fitness level this place has it all. But to me this gym is the gym I’ve always looked for, and I’m happy I found it, and look forward to training here for many many workouts. If you aspire to bodybulld this place is for you. If you just want to train and be healthy, this place is for you.

Fantastic experience: Reviewing as a *bodybuilding* gym because that is the niche this place is trying to fill. As a bodybuilding gym, this place is amazing. However, if you're looking for free space or cardio equipment, move on.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best gym in city. It's got that old school garage gym feeling to it, nothing but metal weights clangin and bangin. If you want to be a king then this is where you need to go to train like a king...the king of gods. If you cant handle it then go back to those corporate gyms over filled with cardio machines where boys stay boys and girls stay girls. All in all this is the place to be, see you in the bull pen...if you got the guts.

Fantastic experience: I`ve been a member at Bullpen for just under a month now and I can say with confidence that ill be there for years to come. The gym itself is in beautiful condition and kept very clean, it has all the equipment you could hope for and more. The owners treat you like nothing short of family and I look forward to every chance I get to train there!

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym! Staff is friendly and easy going, members are all polite and well mannered. Always have rockin music playing and everything is clean and organized. Truly an "iron paradise" where you can just get away from everyday life and focus on your workout. Machines are like nothing I've ever seen before and can hit the muscles from any angle. Lighting is also very good and would recommend this gym to people who are passionate about bodybuilding, powerlifting, or fitness.

Fantastic experience: This place is what I consider a "real" gym. Its authentic and the last of its kind. No fancy hot tubs, sonas, basketball court and machines that look like they havent even been touched. Bullpen gym is balls to the walls heavy duty gym. There would be no gym/fitness industry if it weren't for these type of gyms. I like that old skool vibe and that it's a bit dirty and runned down inside. I like hearing the grunts, feeling the sweat, the passion and the grime from this place. Bullpen is the gym to train hard and to get results for serious goals. Armed to the teeth!! Great friendly family atmosphere too by the owner.

From the moment you walk in the doors, you're immediately welcomed. I've trained in many gyms over the course of the last 10 years and this is hands down THE BEST GYM I have ever worked out at. Fantastic experience: Easily one of the best if not the best gyms I have ever been too! The staff is so kind and will make you feel right at home, they support your goals and aspirations. There's 0 judgement only encouragement! It has a very high energy, very intense atmosphere. I feel like I work out longer and harder because the energy is so positive and pure. If you're looking for your last gym you'll ever want to go to, you should come here. Been a member for 5 months and I'll personally never change.

There is a reason why they are the king of all gyms...If you wanna make gains with the proper equipment and train with some of the best athlete around..BULL PEN GYM is the place to be especially for a beginners down to the pros . It is a great gym that has everything we need and has helped us achieve our fitness goals over the years. Fantastic experience: Bullpen is a sanctuary in a city completely over saturated with "health club" garbage corporate gyms. No other facility in Edmonton has the equipment or atmosphere that this place does. I wish it didn't take me 3 years living here to find it. Great gym.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many gyms around Edmonton in the 8 years I’ve been working out, and the Bull pen is where most of my progress has been made. They have everything you need for whatever your goals are, especially if that’s getting bigger. Although it’s smaller than other gyms, it’s never too crowded and your machines almost never get taken when you walk away. Being a family owned and trained gym gives it a charm that Big Chain gyms just don’t have. Despite having a Chain gym membership for pools and courts, I continue to choose the Bull Pen because that’s where the real work gets done

Fantastic experience: Bull pen gym is a great gym to train at and the staff is good to.They veer u into a direction u want or u ask to go into.They have good knowledge on training and on supplement intake, never hesitate to task questions cause there always there to answer. Fantastic experience: Just to make this clear for everyone. This gym welcomes everyone who really wants to go and train and become someone with goals. Is a hard core gym the way is should be . Many bodybuilders train gyms like this one glad here in Edmonton there is one. And NO is not dirty or filthy and the staff is great run by family and treat you like one as well. If u are not serious about working out don't come here and go to other gyms which instead of training u pay ur amenities and wasting time.

Fantastic experience: Everybody needs to know that the Bull Pen is not only the best gym in town, but it truly is like a second home to me! For one, I could drive to any gym close by on the south side and sure, pay less but then have to plan my workout around crowds of people hogging equipment or machines, but I would much rather hop on the whitemud to be at the Pen, in a friendly environment where everyone respects one another's routines and space! Secondly, the owner and his family are so welcoming and encouraging to anyone that walks in no matter how intense or casual their training regime might be! They always take the time to catch up with you and follow up on whatever is going on with your life! They truly care about their client's well being! Understanding that mental health and physical health go hand in hand! How could you ask for better trainers! *Bonus* they will also remind you to take your fat burners or preworkout knowing you have a fitness goal in mind! When I first started at the pen I had no clue what any of the bars and bells were for! And trust me they have an array of highend equipment! I'm still not a super hardcore lifter, and also just one of the handful of fine ladies that works out there, but I never ever feel intimidated or uncomfortable there! It's seriously like walking into a gym with a bunch of family there, and you get to watch the regulars progress as the seasons go on! This is definitely a space that makes you feel good about yourself! Lots of variety of machines (and music)! But no room for the weak or the unwilling or anyone with a bad attitude! Everyone could use a place like this in their lives! Especially to get them thru the winter!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had tried almost every gym in the city and hands down this is the best gym I’ve been to. It feels like home when you walk in the door. The owners are so helpful and welcoming and it’s just a great place to be, especially when you go to the gym twice and day. I’ve never felt Out of place or unwanted and I’ve never felt judged. I’ll be keeping my membership there for as long as they are open. If you want to workout in a real Gym, this is the only Place I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Pound per pound this gym. Is worth every cent if you are looking for a gym that's a gym not a club ...this is the one.. I've been going here since it's open early 90s have tried others and I don't get the gratitude nor the results from other gyms or clubs as I do at this gym... It's got the best and the most hammer equipment if u feel like working out yourself without injuring yourself and the most free weights as well as the heaviest dumb bells then any where.. The owner will show you the best products to achieve your goals as well it has some of the coolest gym. Wear around It's a family owned gym that will treat you like their own.. There is a reason why this gym has lasted and out lasted any other gym. In Edmonton its the best of the best and the king of all gyms...sure there are reviews that say there's been flaws or nothing has changefor 30 years but couldn't be that bad if they stayed for 30 years..again if something works why change it this is why the bull pen gym is still standing after all these years while others have fallen such as club fit..golds..hardcore..and why upcoming bodybuilders are starting to make a name...this gym has produced 3 or 4 body builders that placed and also help a female win and get a pro card....also having a magazine do a photo shoot in the gym...every gym will have their flaws or have someone complain but this one so far.has been standing the longest in Edmonton and only getting stronger and better....people.should not mix personal friendship with business sometimes that can leave a bitter chip on one's shoulder and take a personal attack by leaving bad and fake reviews...a good family runs this gym making it a fantastic eviroment to train at

Fantastic experience: Bullpen gym is the best gym around you can't beat the staff it's family owned and ran they bring you into there family keep you motivated and extremely helpful . All the best equipment available and never have to wait to use anything All the members are great and also helpful . If you want to train with warrior's to be a warrior the bullpen is the only place to be . One of the only true hardcore gyms around if you want to be a Barbie or princes and nit pick stupid little stuff stay at whatever gym your at cause you probably couldnt handle a true hard core gym

Fantastic experience: Great gym. If you want a hardcore gym atmosphere that is still welcoming with a friendly environment bull pen is the place to be. Equipment is well taken care of and works like brand new. The members and owners are one big family and you won't find another gym with the same comradery in the city of Edmonton.

Fantastic experience: A welcoming place many call a second home, it's a place where you can really change yourself for the better. I've had a membership for a few years and really love the my gym family, even through thick and thin they'll be there. The Bullpen is like your favorite Aunt's house with lots of weights.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this Gym forever and I love it. It has that old school feel that gyms would have had in the late 80s and early 90s. It's family owned the members are all friendly and you can walk in throw your clothes in a locker and not worry about anything getting stolen. I wanted to comment after seeing some of the negative reviews in regards to canceling a contract. I never understand why people complain about contracts that they sign. I had to cancel my membership in the past and had no problems. I wrote a letter stating I needed to cancel (this is outlined in the contract) and called my credit card company just to let them know that the monthly payment was cancelled. I did this not because I didn't trust the business but because I wanted the cancellation process to be as smooth as possible. I've never had any issues here in regards to this. The people that complain about having to write a letter (it's in their original contract) and then complain that they "didn't check their bank accounts for months" are the same type of people that would want to return their car to a dealership 5 months after buying it and then complain that the dealership won't take it back. Like who doesn't check their bank account for months and know what is coming out and what is going in. It takes 2 minutes to do this, the same amount of time than it would to draft a letter cancelling your contract. I still have my contract filed away and believe me the contract isn't hard to understand you don't need to be a lawyer to decipher it it's pretty easy to understand.

Fantastic experience: Became a member roughly a year ago and had nothing but positive experiences each time I have gone. Owners run the place with a high degree of professionalism and respect which is shown to all its members. More than enough equipment to go around, so minimal if any wait time at all. An excellent place to go for a great workout and positive atmosphere while doing it.

Fantastic experience: Been going to the Bullpen Gym for over 4 years now and have gotten to know the owners on a personal level, and it's my home away from home. I never have to wait for a machine and the people are friendly. The atmosphere is all workout and no play. I live 25 minutes from the gym and wouldn't go to another gym ever. Best place to go dollar for dollar!

Fantastic experience: I've been to other gyms. Oh I'm sorry, "fitness centres", but none of them feel like the Bullpen. I used to work out at the bullpen over a decade ago. I moved away, and came back. I walked in and they remembered me. It feels like coming home and there's no better gym in this city. This family owned gym treats you like family, not like a client. Super nice down to earth people. 5 stars and always recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at bullpen for a few years now , I'm a competitive bodybuilder therefore gym choice for me is huge. Bullpen is unique in that the atmosphere is one that breeds my type of training through old school and new school equipment you don't find at other gyms (I.e overhead Leg press, nautilus pullover machine etc.). I have become friends with Roger (owner) over the years and continue to look forward to throwing iron around at my home gym day in and day out. 10/10 would recommend
