Fantastic experience: Walked by this gym in 2015 on my church mission. The owner came out the front door and he was the size of a barn. Asked for a “Mormon bible” We talked for like 20 minutes and he was super chill. I’m not LDS anymore, but as a scared Utah boy in another country. I really appreciate kindness and vibe.

Fantastic experience: Oliver the gym owner really takes pride in his company and will make sure you have all the information you need on all the equipment in his gym. Its nice to speak with a person who takes pride in his work these days and it is wonderful to find a place that has 1100lbs cable bars for guy's that deadlift more than 6 plates, gym name is quite accurate

Fantastic experience: The Bullpen is an absolute gem. If you’re serious about training whether it’s powerlifting, bodybuilding, strongman, or just pushing your limits this is the place to be. The atmosphere is raw and motivating. It’s not flashy or corporate it’s a place where real work gets done. The equipment is top-tier, with everything from specialty bars and heavy-duty racks to strongman implements. There’s no waiting around for machines or people hogging benches everyone’s there with purpose, and there’s a strong sense of mutual respect. What really makes The Bullpen stand out is the community. The members and owners are supportive, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. You can tell it’s owned and operated by people who genuinely care about lifting and helping others improve. If you’re tired of commercial gyms and want a no-BS environment that encourages you to grow stronger mentally and physically The Bullpen is where you want to be. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: great old school gym for serious lifters. I put 1 star because the management system is trash. LIARS. Initially, I tried to explain my situation because I'm still new here in this country & it was all good and fine. little did I know they tried to locked me into two years contract. Don't scam people, you should be grateful enough that your company is still standing for decades.

Roger is genuinely passionate about the members; he always takes the time to stop by, say hi, and make sure everyone’s doing well. You don’t get this kind of personal connection or support in a commercial gym. Whether you’re hitting a PR or posing, they’ll be there to cheer you on. The gym might look intimidating from the outside, but once you’re in, it’s all about community and growth. If you want to train in an environment where experience and encouragement are abundant, this is the place to be!

They have a ton of different machines and equipment for every workout, it feels like there’s nothing they don’t have. Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve worked out in ever. Great family. I pissed off the owner years ago, and owe him an apology. I doubt I’m welcome back now. Clean, lots of big weights. Big lifters there will motivate you. Could be open earlier/later, but we all gotta sleep sometime.

Members are respectful and follow the gym rules (like not dropping their weights). Clean change rooms, sufficient amount of lockers, friendly staff. Honestly, this gym has everything you'll need.

Negative experience: For the love of GOD keep your contract OR DO NOT SIGN WITHOUT ONE. had a membership with them went to cancel and said I couldn’t. Original contract expired and they didn’t let me leave. 3 charges to my credit card in one month from this crook. THANKFULLY I had my contract and was able to dispute it with my bank. GYM IS DIRTY. No showers no up keep. For 60 bucks ? GO TO THE DEN or a commercial gym. But hey I warned you. KEEP YOUR CONTRACT OR DO NOT SIGN WITHOUT ONE.

Negative experience: The entire place reeks of sweat, it is almost unbearable! The equipment is above the caliber of some commercial gyms but boy do they never clean any of it. Furthermore, they don't have a website to list membership prices cause they are trying to haggle the prices and get you locked for 2-year contracts!!! I would also like to say with a quick Google search of the owner of the gym you will soon find out about his record. That is the least of your worries though as the lady that works there is a con artist to her own credentials saying "I have trained multiple body builders to the Olympia" but as you can see by her choice of exercises she is nothing short of a Lier and ego manaic.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have been to ever, and I have been to a lot of gyms all over the world. It has a great vibe and great people. It feels like family. The owners are really nice people. People are here to train hard and get results and not sit around on their phone like a lot of other gyms. It has good loud electronic music too which is nice because then you don't need to wear headphones and you can actually have a human interaction, plus get pumped up. It also has 200lb dumbbells so you know its legit. I have never had to weight for a machine or squat rack too which is nice. This place is awesome and hands down the best gym in Edmonton.

Fantastic experience: I came back to this gym from working out here in the middle of the 90's. When I can in the music, equipment and the people who owned the gym were better and more like home! How were the people who owned the gym better? They are surviving the Covid pandemic as we all are as all small businesses are trying to survive. We are being drained of funds from a tremendous amount of places. We would also like to give to a cause for the right reason. I support small business and in this case I support Bull Pen Gym. Grant.

Fantastic experience: Started training at the bullpen 28 years ago at age 17! I love it! Everybody is encouraging, supportive, and full of beutyfull complements. They play loud rock and roll music that just bounces off the warehouse walls! Its got a big warehouse door that they always have open in the back and big industrial fans to keep it nice and cool! HARD CORE AND MOTIVATING! WITH "THE BEST EQUIPMENT EVER" TELL DEATH DO US PART!!!

An old school feel gym with an unlimited number of machines for muscles you didn't even know existed! I've tried numerous other gyms in Edmonton and I honestly never get the same workout as I do here! Roger and staff make you feel at home. Like family.

Positive experience: As a serious lifter, I’ve always wanted to check out this gym. I definitely prefer the look and environment of this facility compared to the fancy health clubs. The music they play is the kind of music I listen to so it’s nice to not have to wear headphones for once. They have a lot of machines you don’t normally see at commercial gyms and nice to see heavy dumbbells over 120lbs. The space is smaller than what I had anticipated from the pictures but it wasn’t busy when I went (11am on a Sunday), there was 4 other people. The lady at the front desk was nice and welcoming. The only thing was the drop in fee was 30$ for me which kind of turned me off. I’ve never seen it that much and I’ve been to a lot of gyms. Not sure if it’s because of COVID, but others have told me they were not charged so much for drop in.

Fantastic experience: Hands down my most favorite gym of all time. The staff are super friendly, and really go out of there way to help you in any case they can. No matter the fitness level this place has it all. But to me this gym is the gym I’ve always looked for, and I’m happy I found it, and look forward to training here for many many workouts. If you aspire to bodybulld this place is for you. If you just want to train and be healthy, this place is for you.
