Positive experience: Decent place to get in shape for sure. The only thing that offends is why they don't make it mandatory for people to cover their privates in the sauna. It's uncouth, uncivilized and offensive. I don't need to see that when I'm relaxing in the sauna.
Fantastic experience: Staff are amazing I've had nothing but good experiences just wish they were open longer on weekends.
Negative experience: Very good gym but I wish they would move to a different location. The mall that they are located in is a cess pool.
Positive experience: Great gym love working out here but the classes in session are so annoying, especially when I and others can’t even enter the stretch room considering the immense space there is. White chick at the front with the eyebrow piercing seems pretty rude too forgot her name
Fantastic experience: My favorite place to spend time, super clean super friendly staff, VERY clean bathrooms and change rooms. Going here has litteraly changed my life I lost 60lb in one year and hope to make more progress! My favorite thing they did so far was the costume contest on Halloween it was so fun wish more people participated!
Fantastic experience: Used the gym for a week while I was visiting from Florida. Awesome gym, really good equipment, and friendly staff. If I lived in Sudbury I would buy a membership.
Negative experience: This gym is run down. Ventilation is awful and flooring needs work. It is very unsafe. I switched gyms and I am still locked into paying for a membership. I’ll take the loss. Cheaper than tripping on the old floor and breaking a bone = loss time of work.
Fantastic experience: I'm really happy that I switched over to World Gym Sudbury! The facilities are clean, the staff is always friendly, the indoor parking in the winter is awesome and it's less than half of what I was paying at my old gym, plus I get tanning!

Negative experience: Unfriendly service. Weekend staff needs to be re-trained for assessing better customer service
Negative experience: After falling ill with inflammatory issues nearly 2 years ago I called several times and tried several times to cancel my account with this facility. The manager promised to inquire with the owner, who they are related to, about doing something for me in regards to having been stuck paying for a gym membership I cannot use because of my health issues. I went in person and was given run-around and phone number to the manager to cancel or have my cancellation policy waived when I would have preferred that instead of having to chase around for a response and be sent in circles. Now I've finally cancelled, but I am still stuck paying until August. Absolutely insane. Not to mention, paying for this facility that was difficult to access during the pandemic because there was always a line. I didn't have time to stand in line for a half an hour to an hour every evening just to get in. It was also in very poor taste to charge members the *full* yearly cleaning service fee when the gym was closed for half the year that year. World gym does not care about it's members / customers and I do not recommend this place.
Negative experience: World gym is a rip off...my hubby went in to cancel his account cause he hasn't been in since 2019 since covid. We called them to cancel and they said that he needed to go in. He went in today and now they are saying that we owe them 400 and something because we got a bank to stop payments a couple times but yet they kept taking money once the stop payments were over. Well after 4 years of you guys taking money from our account and him not attending the gym is your 400 dollars that we apparently owe yous. I'm going to call head office tomorrow and my bank to get something done as you got more then enough money out of us. Never again will he be going there and nor will we refer you guys to anyone. What a joke.

Negative experience: Got a membership online everything looked decent, went there worked out for about 1 hour then asked them to cancel and refund my membership, allot of the machines felt worn out, I went on a treadmill the belt was loose! So decided to try out another and the flooring was caved in under the track felt like I was walking in and out of puddle, this place has potential but fails because of the lack of maintenance, one more thing to note more then half there inventory of treadmills where out of order, so was only able to try 3 treadmill and all 3 felt junky, won't be returning and would suggest to take your business elsewhere! Oh and one more note I told one of the employees about the 3 machines I went on and there response was we now we are waiting until after summer to fix them, so if you really wanna try this place out wait until fall so they can make there repairs, but she did not put an out of order sticker on the one with the broken floor so beware of some of them!!!

These parts have become difficult to procure as many of our regular vendors no longer supply these parts due to shipping availability and cost inflation. The good news is that these replacement parts that are on their way and are expected to arrive at the end of summer! We apologize for the miscommunication and hope you understand we are working as quickly as possible with what is in our control! In the meantime, we offer multiples of certain equipment like our treadmills to supplement for the unavailable pieces. Positive experience: In terms of cleanliness... it's not all that great. I workout in the women's only section so I can't comment on the open shared space but the girls do a really good job picking up after themselves and sanitizing equipment. They have a supposed janitor but last week someone left a water bottle and it sat literally all week. Literally an almost fully drank Dasani water that just sat there... most of the treadmills are also broken and have stayed that way since I got my membership. They make enough money on memberships so there shouldn't be an excuse as to why a bunch of stuff is broken and in no hurry to get fixed... I love working out here but it could definitely be better with very little effort...

Negative experience: I've been going to this gym for years and I would recommend if you had the extra money...bring your business somewhere else. Cardio equipment has always been in horrible condition (someone will get hurt one day), took years to get new equipment, sauna has been in horrible shape for years. The online booking system for workouts during covid has been horrible also. The only positive thing I can say about this gym is that I like the people that work there. You get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: I was in Sudbury for only 4 days but this gym had everything I needed for my workouts. Extremely clean and well organized for training. I will definitely be a repeat user if I’m in Sudbury again. Staff were very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I've only been a member for a short period of time but I've grown to really love World! Not only are the prices extremely fair but the front staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Doesn't matter what time of the day it is you're always greeted with a smile by the front desk staff. I highly recommend joining this gym if you're looking to work out somewhere with a great atmosphere, positive staff and fair prices.
Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this gym! I have been to a few gyms throughout my fitness journey and this has been by far the mostly open and welcoming environment! The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful! The facilities are very clean, and I'm so impressed with their women's only section!
Negative experience: I was working out on the mats on the floor in the women’s room and was COVERED in dirt, dust and hair. I don’t think the people cleaning this gym sweep or vacuum. I am disappointed with the cleanliness I this gym....makes me regret committing to the membership here. Only perk is that it’s cheap and I can park indoors...other than that, every other gym is significantly better. I will go back to GoodLife once my membership is done.

Positive experience: A decent workout gym around downtown. This is an economic gym have 10/month and 20/ month plans. Parking on rooftop for the mall. They have recently extended the open times.
Positive experience: Been training here for over 5 years, good gym pretty solid overall, good lighting & mirrors everywhere, can build allot of muscle in this house of iron, Good vibes overall... shower area could be cleaner (floors full of body hair) but you get what you pay for.
Negative experience: The one older women that works there is rude I've been to lots of gyms but this woman should not be working in a gym
Negative experience: I registered on Monday April 15 but was a problem with credit card cause I could not remember pin # so I returned on Tuesday and none of my info could be found and one staff member by the name of Jen was rude when asked a questioned. I was looking so forward to join cause I liked everything it offered. Was not very professional of her. I said goodbye and will join the YMCA instead.
Negative experience: Tapout shirts, steroids, hamburgers. They won't let me train here. They are jealous. Jealous of my juicy rip. My pump scares people. People see my pump and go runnin. Just shameful that they are so jealous of my juicy rip.
Negative experience: THE STAFF ARE RUDE EVEN ON THE PHONE. Us customers never asked you to work there so why giving us attitudes ? I live in Toronto now there’s a world gym there and it’s completely different. The staff are so nice and helpful. The staff in Sudbury are putting a bad reputation for the gym. I suggest them to employ people that really wants to work there and actually do what they signed up for.

Negative experience: Member for about a year. I have to agree with previous reviewers that it takes weeks to fix anything there (equipment, sauna etc) Wifi won't work 9 out of 10 times. One of the employees has been very rude at least couple of times and there is never a manager around to resolve more serious issues, once they arise. I would think twice to commit for a year's subscription despite the low price.
Negative experience: If you want dirty change rooms that rarely get cleaned, machinery that takes weeks if not months to get repaired. Wi-Fi that constantly boots you off.. this is the place for you. Even for 10 bucks I don't know if i would renew my membership.
Negative experience: Look elsewhere these owners never fix anything.....only one of almost every machine.. staff all complain about working there ...same people are there no matter what time of day it's weird... Play terrible music...for 10 bucks a month this place is a good place to take a dump even then you can see people through the door and they can see you
Negative experience: I was a member for just under a year and couldn’t wait to get out. Staff is rude and don’t make you feel welcome, the equipment is always broken and takes forever to get fixed (that’s if it even does get fixed), the studios mirrors are all cracked and broken and look like they’re about to fall off the wall, the 1 year contract has lupeholes that rope you in and make you pay for 2 extra months after you cancel. There’s also been lots of thefts in the locker rooms in the last little bit. You get what you pay for, cheap membership equals out to a cheap gym, especially with the new VIP membership changing from being able to bring a guest for free to now 5$ each visit?! . Since canceling at world I’ve become a member at GoodLife and highly recommend it!

Negative experience: 3 months and still have yet to replace 60 and 65 lb dumb bells that broke. Half the machines are broken. You get what you pay for.
Fantastic experience: Great staff and private environment. The sauna is a nice touch. The hydromassage is the best after doing a good hard workout. Late night is the most opportune time to visit and workout. Low volume of patrons at night.
Negative experience: Ridiculous cancellation fees rude staff (besides the black guy) and why advertise that you're open 24hr when really you aren't
