I am not much of an athlete but I loved how the training went and it was awesome. Will join group soon! Location has ample parking space or street parking. Team is sweet and friendly. Expérience fantastique: I took an intro to aerial hoop class. It was my first time at this (or any) studio and I was really nervous. If you have wanted to try something like this (or pole or pilates or any of the other options), Saskatoon Pole & Dance is absolutely somewhere you should check out. I was greeted when I arrived and a few of us who had never been to the studio were toured around. The space itself is nice, with a cozy front room and bright, clean studio spaces. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable vibe before getting down to the actual class. The class I took was taught by Beth, who was graceful to watch, really engaging as an instructor, and positive/encouraging with all the students. The skills started of easy enough to build confidence and progressed to stuff that was challenging, but felt fun to attempt. Personally, I enjoyed the combination of fitness, playful artistry, and being with a group. I will definitely be taking some more hoop and probably try a few other classes

Expérience fantastique: I took a drop in class with Sarah, it was Taylor Swift "vigilante" theme. The class was SO much fun! The group was authentic, welcoming and just the right size. And when I booked it the staff was super helpful. Looking to do more of these one-off types of classes, it's much easier for me to commit to one instead of a semester. Definitely want to return!

Expérience fantastique: This is my new favourite place for many reasons. The instructors are very knowledgeable and they have really helped me build my confidence and strength. The atmosphere is also very welcoming to all levels and it feels like a family! It is also a very encouraging atmosphere where they genuinely want you to succeed! After having experiences at other studios and high school that were hardly positive and encouraging, finding this studio has allowed me to fall in love with dance again as well as make some awesome new friends!

Expérience fantastique: I love Saskatoon Pole and Dance Studio. They accommodate all levels, and are welcoming and encouraging to every body. They go out of their way to make you feel safe to try new things. You definitely feel the sense of community and belonging, and the instructors always truly listen to your concerns. The facility is very clean and full of positive vibes. They have been going above and beyond to create a safe space for people to exercise and practice well-being.

Expérience négative: A studio that's trying to be inclusive and a safe space. I've yet to truly feel this and have continually had to be an advocate for myself and others. There have been slow changes, but I feel their superficiality. Once reopening after COVID I had questions about how quickly things were returning to "normal" (less time between classes, multiple classes starting at the same time, and their hands off policy if someone is injured-- I found out through digging that if someone falls and is injured they will not touch ANYONE and only call 911...). My mental illness was brought up and none of my questions were directly answered. I do not recommend entering the studio at this time.

Expérience positive: Great place for a Stagette. Had a lot of fun. I just wish the entire hour and a half had been used for dancing. (It's great to allow time to play at the end, but I think a half hour was too much.)

If you've never done pole before, you should really give it a try! The studio has tons of space and wonderful rooms. I honestly recommend this place to everyone. They offer interesting drop in classes, and their monthly courses are fantastic with a good pace. Keep it up guys!
