Expérience fantastique: It would be an understatement to say that my life has been changed for the better because of my experience at Kilian Academy. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu at Kilian Academy is so much more than just physical skill, as the lessons encourage athletes to build upon their mental strength, discipline, self-confidence, and the ability to build strong relationships with other athletes. Coach Abrie Kilian is an incredible individual, who has built an outstanding academy centered around self-improvement. His focus is in implementing jiu-jitsu as more than just a sport, but as a way of life. And in doing so, his coaching exceeds far beyond the mats. Abrie Kilian is one of the most kind, patient, genuine people I have ever met, and he has challenged me to better myself in every way. He is unparalleled in knowledge and an apparent love for what he does, incredibly adept in helping teach valuable life lessons, and always good for a friendly, intriguing conversation. Every day since I first found the Academy has been a journey in building confidence and self-worth, guided by Coach Killian and his everlasting positive light. Thanks for everything, Coach. Every one of Kilian Academy’s athletes are incredibly welcoming and encouraging to new athletes, building a unique community of support and camaraderie, the likes of which I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Expérience fantastique: I try to visit this academy every time I am staying in the area. The place is very welcoming and have a great atmosphere thanks to Abrie Kilian and everyone involved. It has a generous matt space and clean and comfortable facilities. BJJ is a great sport for everyone regardless of age or gender, and I have been doing it for a long time. In my opinion the BJJ program here is excellent. It follows a curriculum which will provide the beginners with breadth and advanced players with depth of techniques. Abrie is an active competitor and experienced coach, with detailed knowledge of the art and with tools to help his students accomplish their goals through BJJ, whatever those goals are.

All of the staff have an extensive knowledge of their areas of expertise, they are highly dedicated to help you succeed with your goals and personal growth. My son is 5 and he loves being a part of this community. If you are looking for a life changing experience don’t look further, this is the place for you. Expérience fantastique: Kilian academy is fantastic! Abrie is an amazing coach. The academy and its students train hard. Ranking higher and higher at each tournament. The environment of being around everyone is friendly and encouraging. They are willing to learn and teach others. We've watched two blue belt demos so far this fall which have been great demonstrations of the talent that is at this academy and what can be taught. As a spectator everyone is willing to answer any questions. We have many friends who attend jiu-jitsu classes regularly and some that are going to start soon. There isn't alot in this area, so if you're looking this is the place to go! It's clean, welcoming and exactly the place you want to be. There is also kick boxing classes and zumba classes! Check it out!

Expérience fantastique: Kilian Academy is a great, positive place for kids and adults to be each week. Both my children are in the Jiu-Jitsu classes and they love them. The instructor encourages self-control, self-respect, respect for others and so much more. The Zumba and Zumba Strong classes are great as well! Expérience fantastique: If it were possible I would give Kilian Academy a 6/5 stars. I was in town for the summer and wanted to keep training when possible and it was one of the most accepting environments I've ever been apart of. It is hard to describe what makes their establishment so special because there are so many good things. Their facilities are beautiful, clean and host one of the largest if not the largest mats in the area, they have full changerooms, weights ,cardio and crossfit equipment. The group of people I met and trained with here I will always hold in high regard. They are some of the most kind and fun people I have trained with (off the matts, this isn't cake baking class after all).I would be doing a disservice if I didn't mention that I was only there for a little while and they pulled me aside and asked what i wanted to work on and develop a game plan for me. That is above and beyond what I expected given that I was only going to be there for a short time. They challenged me to improve on my game and I will forever hear in the back of my mind " you are being to nice Sean" and "put an exclamation point on it" while I continue my Jiu--Jitsu journey. We are so happy we came by the Kilian Acadamy and Coch Abrie, from the day we showed up everyone here has brought us in and made us feel at home and part of the team, my son (13Years) trains in Dubai at one of the top jujitsu organizations in the world and the Kilian Acadamy has matched this in so many way and even in more for his competition preperation training.This is seriously a world class organizations. So far this summer we have done 2 tournaments and recieved Gold in both, with 2 more to go before we retur and could not have done it without coach Abrie and the Kilian Acadamy. No other club has a coach like Abrie who makes a connection with every athlete, both child and adult. Expérience fantastique: My 8 year old son needed an outlet for his energy. He LOVES his class. He has greatly increased in his strength and balance in other areas since attending (improved tree climbing, yoga etc). I have been pleasantly surprised at the changes in his manners and respectful behavior as well.

Expérience fantastique: My husband signed up for Jiu Jitsu at Kilian Academy a few months ago and couldn’t stop talking about how amazing his experience was. So we signed up our two children for Jiu Jitsu with them as well. Every day the kids ask to go, they enjoy being there so much. Abrie is amazing with the kids, he makes it fun yet educational. The kids learn to be respectful and responsible. They have learned more about themselves and what they can achieve, the sky is the limit. I have been doing Zumba through Kilian academy. Rochagne is so positive and supportive, she always has a smile. She makes being there a blast, it’s like being at a party every time. The atmosphere at Kilian Academy is so peaceful and positive some days it’s hard to leave and other days your counting down for your next class. I HIGHLY recommend Kilian Academy!!

Expérience fantastique: My personal experience training at Kilian Academy was that training goes beyond learning technical moves and gaining physical fitness. I remember entering the gym full of stress, sometimes angry and heavily burned out. I left the academy light as a feather, gas tank completely empty and at peace. My ability to remain calm in stressful environments improved. My ability to think on my feet dramatically increased. My coach/sensei (@Abrie Kilian) had the ability to gracefully push you way beyond your limits. I really owe it all to sensei (@Abrie Kilian). Yet he is no doormat either, as I have witnessed and greatly admire his peaceful confidence and assertiveness when necessary. He is a fascinating blend of characteristics and skills. Not only a BJJ coach - Abrie is also a life coach. Sometimes, the wisdom he shares with us following a group meditation is my favourite moment of class. In such a short time I have learned so much, not just about Jiu Jitsu, but about what it takes to be good person all around. When I first met Abrie Kilian, his personality alone made me want to join. He has a great way with people and his personality just draws you in and brings out the best in people. He speaks very clearly and slowly when he is instructing and shows you multiple times how to safely and accurately preform a certain technique.
