Expérience négative: Nice clean facility overall. My personal training experience couple months ago was awful and I’ve been too anxious to go back(completely my problem). Goals have to specially be appearance related. Helping depression, better balance and stability from a car accident wasn’t a good enough goal and I was asked “isn’t there an upcoming event you would like to look better for?” I walked away and my sessions were booked anyways. Called multiple times to try and resolve anything. No response. Asked to switch trainers, told to reach out to the trainer I had. Finally sent a Karen email I felt horrible about which was responded to promptly. Manager was respectful and I did get a partial refund but it was an experience that still bothers me and with new year sign ups, I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone else.

Expérience positive: Well-maintained. Great location. My one issue is that it I’ve spoken to a few of the staff and when I tell them I came from Planet Fitness their collective response is “well, you’ve definitely upgraded” which is an elitist mentality I don’t subscribe to and put a bad taste in my mouth to purchase personal training through them.

Expérience négative: Not worth it!!! You will have to pay for parking ( parkade) if you are in the building for more than 2 hours. I have a membership with goodlife in the refinery district. I wanted to try to location since it's closer to my place. The customer service lady told me that I could park in the parkade & grab a ticket which will be valided once im done so that I don't have to pay for parking. Got to the gym I asked Saurav ( the front desk guy) he said yes, I just have to scan it when done. After my session, Ifrad (another front desk guy) validated the ticket & I left. Get to the gate, the ticket was not opening the gate, i push the help button , the parkade guy comes and tell me that the ticket is only valid for 2 hours.I go back upstairs & ask Ifrad and he says oh sorry there is nothing we can do. I was never informed of that and had to pay $7 to leave the parkade. NEVER AGAIN!! NOT WORTH IT!!! Employee not trained .

I came in for a workout, but instead of exercising, I had to wait while the trainer finished working with other clients. I tried several times to start my workout, but the trainer stopped me, saying that I had to wait because it was his job. While I was standing and waiting, the equipment I needed was not even being used. As a result, I ended up standing around, waiting for the second client to finish their session. This approach is unacceptable. I hope the situation will be addressed, as I expect to receive quality service for the money I pay.

Expérience négative: I just cancel my Goodlife membership without the notice by debit account cancellation. Of course I will notice them after no payment. This company has poor reputation. Garbage company.

Expérience négative: Very BAD service - I cancelled my membership on April. As per one month notice rule they will continue to take Money for May. So one month you have give them money for nothing. Not at all customer friendly. You cannot immediately cancel the membership incase of unforseen circumstances. - For me they continued to charge money on June also by stating they forgot to cancel. It is from your debit card and you won't notice it very easily. Not at all professional. I lost my trust with the management. I was forced to cancel my debit card because of this.

Expérience positive: It’s a great gym for local Winnipeg office workers perhaps. As a visitor of the city, I found the surroundings of the building quite sketchy; I rode a bicycle to the location and was advised to park it in an underground, caged bike rack, which the staff helpfully accommodated

Expérience fantastique: I'm in love with this gym. It is so clean, there are so many machines and the staff are so friendly one of them even called me boss. The showers have private stalls and the soap is not cheap quality. (Even conditioner) if you think about it you even save 20 bucks a month on soap so it evens out (not even comparable to the previous gym)

It's been almost a year since I started my fitness journey here, and it has been absolutely life-changing (and I don't use these words very lightly!). Also, don't sleep on the classes they offer - they're amazing! The vibe of the place itself is very welcoming, friendly, and very clean. But I believe it's the people themselves that makes this place so great. Just to name a few: Hanya, Matty, Charisse, Nichole, Adi, Janice, Ashley - thank you guys for all the encouragements and the positive energies you bring to your work! Expérience négative: Went to this location with 2 friends looking at memberships. We wanted to try it out for 1 day to see how we like it. Online they offer 3 day passes for free. They denied us the free pass and wanted a 26$ drop in. What a rip. Went to Brickhouse instead and will be getting a membership there instead

Expérience négative: I wanted to see how this gym works and took advantage of the free training. After I registered, they gave me an invitation. I came with my family and with my invitation - they told me that I could not work out in this gym and had to go somewhere outside the city (to another gym ) simply, well, in other words, they insulted me! I do not recommend this club, it treats people differently, there is discrimination. I do not recommend this fitness club.And that you would like to know more that they walked and then laughed at us for not letting us in.

Expérience négative: The amount of times this gym has changed their operating hours is frustrating and quite honestly just confusing at this point. You have to check Google everytime you want to attend this facility just incase the opening hours have changed again.

Expérience négative: The gym is fine and the desk staff in the evening is generally helpful and nice. The morning staff has a really rude girl. What kills this gym though are the personal trainers. They often sit on machines while they’re training others. It takes up space, especially during the peak hours. Otherwise the change rooms are usually clean. And the actual facility is well kept.

Expérience positive: Friendly staff. I honestly thought with the remodel and moving to a new location we would have got the amenities closer to what Refinery has. Also the hours suck and there isn't a gym in downtown winnipeg I can go to after 5 pm. I'm a retailer worker and would love to be able to go after retail hours on a weekend.

Expérience fantastique: I picked up the supplies for the World Police and Fire Games this evening. Very well organized venue.
Expérience positive: Clean facility and the equipment is in good condition. Lots of space and natural lighting. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they close earlier then the other locations.
Expérience négative: Two guys in dirty clothes in sneakers enter the sauna and train in the sauna, after which they go to the gym and continue training. PLease pay attention to this.
Expérience fantastique: My husband and I come here often and we love it! Staff are always friendly and welcoming. And the facility is always very clean. They have plenty of equipment and space so you can do your own thing.

Expérience négative: Of all the GoodLife gyms that I’ve gone to, this is the worst. The staff are particularly abhorrent. The facilities are nice, but not nice enough to make up for the people who are somehow employed here. Shocking behaviour really.
Expérience positive: The gym is great and clean but the girl who opens in the morning Lizzi I believe never shows up. I hope the mangers find a replacement It isn't the first time or the second time maybe 100th time.

They refused to give her a complimentary day pass because she was a member 6 years ago in Ontario. Talk about short-sighted management. They tried to charge her almost $30 for a day pass. Money first, members second.
Expérience négative: Unfortunately I have a bad experience with GOODLIFE. I became a member at this branch.Their SERVICE are very POOR. After more than five times asking for a trainer but each time they delayed with an excuse, but they never did it (when I applied for a membership in a first day the one who helped me said you have two hours of free training). Another problem is they never mentioned that I have to let them know 30 days before leaving ( cancellation notice) AND they never said WE WILL CHARGE YOU FOR AMOUNT OF $72 for those 30 days. The funny thing is I went to Goodlife today and asked the manager why you charged me $72? Why you didn't give me information about that, when I canceled or registered? “Every day I cancel one or more people and I’m sure that I give everybody the full info,” she said… what kind of gym is that if every day one or more than one people cancel them membership Guess what? Everybody can help you to be membership but when it comes to cancellation the only one that can help you for that is the manager and they put you in a waiting list "she (the manager) will call you as soon as possible"
Expérience fantastique: I truly appreciate my workout at this branch. The staff is really caring and mindful which makes my experience joyful. I have seen a drastic progress with the leadership of Cherise and the new team's effort. Absolutely love diversity among the staff and their knowledge and willingness to help. Expérience fantastique: I've seen comments adressing a lack of inclusivity regarding LGBT+ members, but in my experience at this gym, staff was telling EVERYONE to social distance when it was enforced. All around the staff was incredibly kind and the equipment is great for a smaller gym. 10/10 would recommended.
Expérience positive: We are not members, yet. We are a 2 person membership looking for a gym. My 3 stars are simply to reflect a neutral position. That said, after reading the reviews for the facility I am not even going to visit. There are multiple, legitimate concerns that are simply being ignored. I saw a reply to a covid issue and an lgbtq issue (good for you on addressing these) but they were by FAR the exceptions to the subject of most complaints. If ownership/mgmt is not concerned about standard service complaints enough to reply to them, I see no reason to give them consideration for patronage.

Expérience fantastique: Today I had a personal training session with Mattie, and I just wanted to say thank you and kudos to the good job that he did! He had a great deal of workout expertise which helped me correct my form in major exercises like squats, bench press and deadlift. It was a very informative session and he addressed all my concerns about my fitness goals. Thank you.

Expérience positive: One of the better Goodlifes in the city due to it not being super busy. Would be 5 stars if parking was free with membership and if the Saturday/Sunday hours were a little later - atleast 7/8pm.
Expérience fantastique: Huge space. Lots of different cardio machines. Spacious locker room with showers. It is never crowded. Two circuits and lots of free weights and machines. sled push area with two TRXs. Large cushioned stretching area.

Expérience fantastique: So i want to update my review. This has become my go to gym. It was crazy times when they opened and everyone was under stress. The staff are super friendly. The gym is always clean and machines are always in working order. I always feel great leaving with a really positive vibe from the gym. Happy to say that I appreciate the people here and am glad to have a great gym so close to home. The gym is new so of course is nice but the staff constantly disappoint when compared to other locations. They are inconsistent in enforcement of covid regulations often spending hours all together at the desk when sanitary devices are empty and the gym is a mess. Covid rules are not followed by staff or personal trainers and staff will randomly walk around and tell a couple people to distance unless they find some friends then they will stop and chat ignoring the rules they want others to abide by. I only go to this gym still because it is close and has underground parking, very disappointed by this goodlife. Definitely not the "goodlife" experience I feel at other locations.

Despite other pairs working out they only asked us to step away. Take your business elsewhere the management and team is not friendly and only micro manage. Worst GoodLife location in Winnipeg.

The staff say hello to me by name every morning, more members are starting to come through the doors as more people are starting to work again. The gym is always spotless. This is my gym, I feel at home here. I will recommend this place to anyone who asks!

Expérience fantastique: This gym is clean and well air conditioned - gym staff periodically wipes down the equipment due to COVID-19. There is a nice array of good equipment including weight lifting equipment (several squat racks and three complete cable machines, for example) and a number of cardio machines. Fewer pieces of equipment are available at this time, but that is due to Covid, and completely out of the hands of the gym’s management (looking forward to saunas being available for use!). The space is well lit, air conditioned, newly renovated, and reasonably spacious. If you prefer a quiet gym, attendance is low at the beginning of the work day, seeing as the gym is largely frequented by those working in the nearby office buildings (peak times are around the lunch hour and around 4:30/5:00pm). The staff is courteous and always willing to help. I love this gym!!!
Expérience négative: Members of staff harassing clients (selectively) for working out at 8, not 10 feet away from each other. At the same time the same staff are chatting among themselves at arm's length and walking around with the prospective clients 2 feet away. Will try to avoid the 330 Main club as much as possible, other Goodlife branches are way more customer-friendly.
