Expérience positive: I work about 50 hours a week Monday to Friday, sometimes more. The only days I have enough time to hit up the gym is on the weekends or holidays. That's unfortunately the time they close early. I'm really disappointed that they couldn't extend the weekend hours until 8 pm. Or at least have the gym open without staff on holidays. However, it is honestly a great environment, as well as friendly people. Kept my membership for those reasons. Anyone looking to join, I also need a gym partner... been a few months...

It is a small gym but everyone is there to get in a work out and not have issues each other. I highly recommend it!

Expérience fantastique: I have been coming to this gym for almost 15 years now and there is a reason I am still here. Everyone is so friendly! The atmosphere is like no other gym I have ever been to. I have tested out a few others in Airdrie and Calgary, and the vibe is not for me, no matter how new or fancy the equipment is. I am not here for a fashion show. I don’t understand the comments from everyone about personal training. There are people here that are friends at the gym and come and motivate eachother. Things like “come on you can do another rep! One more!” And I think that is great to see. I have never felt judged or creeped out here. People are great about wiping off their gym equipment. It’s $25 a month - It’s not a fancy $160 month gym membership with classes. It’s a fair price for those who just want a good space to work out. Workers are young and they are always doing cleaning, answering phones or signing people in. They are learning. And when they’re not, they sit in the back and take their break. Nothing wrong with that! Don’t know why all the hate, this gym has never let me down. Come and see for yourself.

Expérience négative: Rules clearly state the personal training is not allowed but every day around 6pm there is one guy there that is obviously providing training to a few people. This guy is always extremely loud and can be heard throughout the whole gym even with noise cancelling earbuds. Staff doesn’t seem to care a whole lot as they don’t even bother to leave their back room. Paper towel dispensers and sanitizer spray are constantly empty.

Expérience positive: It's ok, kind of small and the machines are a little outdated but it still gets the job done, and for $12.99 can't complain.

Expérience négative: Gym is too small and equipment is rarely available due to size of the gym and how many people are there, Change rooms are dirty 80% of the time, there is also a shorter heavy set woman that works there who is super rude.. she was the reason I cancelled my membership. I will go to planet fitness before I go back here.

Expérience positive: Everything seems ok, except if the gym open 24 hours is better and worth my money more, because I'm usually free middle of the night, also it is very strange to walk through superstore to the gym and looking at people shopping while working out, I wish I could come workout at 5am.

Expérience fantastique: This is a great location, since it’s smaller the staff are very active in keeping it clean and all the sanitizing papers stocked. Friendly greetings as you walk in and a polite goodbye is always nice. Keep in mind it’s on the smaller end for a gym, only thing I would want changed is if the gym could be open later on weekends as well.

Out of all locations that provide 24hrs, this location is placed in one of the worst possibilities/atmospheres. Located on the second floor of a Superstore. The hours of operation are limited. Not to mention on weekends, they close at 6pm but of coarse want full membership fees.

Cannot do deadlift because of wooden floor. There should be big washroom. I am canceling my membership because of these things. Sorry to leave u fit4less

It’s cramped and there is a wait for a lot of equipment most of the time. There is lots of space all over airdrie to make a nicer one like the other locations in Calgary

Expérience négative: Few things lacking in this gym unfortunately. Staff is great, no issues from them. This gym can utilize the space they have as they have more than enough to add in some extra machines and weights. Unfortunately the dumbbells at this gym only go to 75lbs??? Most gyms have dumbbells up to a 100lbs at least. I hear at other locations they have them in the black card section, why doesn't this gym have them? It's unfortunate when people are stuck at plateaus in their workout trying to get stronger, as well people like me have issues using a bar for bench pressing as it puts stress on the shoulders. Other than that this gym has what it needs, fixing equipment does take a bit because one guy service all gyms so there's that. Hopefully they bring in what other gyms have for the black card section and increase the dumbbells, no need for more than 2 pairs of 75lbs when you can have a set from 80 to 100lbs.

Expérience fantastique: Great place busy at night after work nice and dead during the day.

Expérience positive: It would be amazing if the men's change room had at least one shower. I was surprised to see that the gym offered women's shower, but not for men. It makes it hard to position a workout in the day without needing to go home and shower after a workout.

Expérience positive: Overall good. Staff are generally pretty friendly and helpful. Price is awesome, equipment is fine, but it would go a long way if there were men's showers. Sometimes I just work out at home instead because I don't want to go out into -25°C weather drenched in sweat.

Expérience fantastique: I love this gym so much. I was reluctant to getting back into working out but this places makes me so happy I did. The staff are always so nice and I never feel looked down on by anyone ( patrons or staff) I always see machines being cleaned after use and by staff throughout the day and at the end of the night. This place is so welcoming to everyone and you can tell people are there to workout and not just to stand around and judge people.

What kind of gym is that? Absolute joke. I'll be glad to go to an actual gym considering this one costs the same. $24/month PLUS an annual fee, no showers, I've seen better gyms in a single bay garage

Expérience fantastique: I've used fit4less in Marlborough mall (calgary) and it wasn't that great this gym is amazing! How could you go wrong, showers, locker room (clean), every piece of equipment, sauna, hydromassage, massage chairs, tanning. Man you can't beat the price for all of that its awesome that my sister can use my pass when im not. Love it!

I recently moved from Airdrie to Calgary, and after reading some reviews regarding transferring of the membership I was in a panic. I reached out to Airdrie and Chris informed me that because I was a black card member, I could use any Fit4Less across Canada. He also gave me information on some of the other clubs. Super Helpful, Very professional, and a GREAT learning experience. Thank you Chris!!

Expérience négative: The staff members are more concerned with draconianly enforcing a mask policy than addressing members dropping stacks of weight. (How illogical is it to put on a mask immediately after performing an exercise when your breathing heavy?!) No other competitors take a stance on masks as harshly as Fit4Less does. There is not enough equipment for the volume of people using the facility during peak times, and some machines are old and have noticeably not been maintained in a while. (Cable machines not lubricated, "extra" weight stacks rendered useless because they don't hold in place properly...) I digress... They are called Fit4Less for a reason. You get what you pay; You know what you sign up for. For these reasons I am considering moving my membership to Gold's or Anytime.

My only real complaint is that they kept withdrawing monthly payments for membership while they were closed for covid. It's only $10 per month so its not worth demanding a refund, but how can you charge for a service that you can't provide?

Expérience négative: I was harassed by a gym employee for not wearing a mask while I was exercising. She was very rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. Followed me around the gym, called her manager on me who I asked to speak with but was told she would not speak to me. They do not reply to emails and are hard to communicate with. Overall this gym lacks good equipment, staff are rude and obnoxious, and the gym itself is very poorly managed. This is the worst gym I have ever been a member at, I highly recommend going somewhere else such as Goodlife, Anytime Fitness, or Gensis Place.

Expérience négative: Black card members cannot share the membership on the same day, making the entire feature of sharing a profile with another person false advertising. Your local club can't do anything about it, so you would have to contact the main company. But they don't have a contact on the webpage. It's a circus, not a company.

Expérience négative: Have been a member for a few years and have never had any issues with the staff, since everyone was friendly and polite until recently, when I had a negative experience with the manager (Shabniz) who was argumentative and rude over nothing. I had to ask for assistance of another staff member and it was solved in a couple seconds. This is not kind of behaviour you expect from the manager, who should help the gym members rather than being unprofessional.

Expérience positive: Good gym, limited equipment , high quality equipment and clean. Members seem friendly and chatty in a non gymtimidating environment, everyone is welcome no matter your level of fitness or age. No personal trainers allowed which can make it difficult for those who are just becoming familiar with the gym. No group fitness. Tanning, massage beds available and free if you choose the appropriate membership. The cost of membership is very low and is affordable for everyone

Expérience fantastique: I always have a great experience here, but I really wanted to highlight the manager at this location, Shab. Shab is always cleaning machines, countertops, the shoe racks or tables. She is always doing something to improve the overall function, comfort and cleanliness of this gym. She is the first person who greeted me when I came to sign up and she really made me feel comfortable and welcome. She remains the same and always greets everyone that walks in the door with a smile. This gym is great but I personally think based on what I see going there multiple times a week, that Shab does a lot of work to make it this way.

Expérience négative: They are never here on time in the morning ever... always a group of people waiting to be let in at 7. As I stand here now at 7:08 there are 9 people waiting to go in. This gym has gone down hill drastically since I started at his gym years ago. Get this fixed or people are going to continue to switch. And you wonder why your revenue is in the toilet. EDIT: There is now 14 people here at 7:27 and I have left. Lots of people did the same.

I have issues with the tanning beds as they look a little old school but other than that I love this gym and so does my bank account!

Expérience négative: Main rule of good customer service is to at no point escalate issues with client and never treat client with superiority instead smile, be polite, listen and explain. Unfortunately this is not the rule that the manager of this location Shabniz Hirji goes by. My son is the club member for almost a year, due to circumstances he can't use his membership too often so we decided that we will upgrade his membership to black which would allow me to use it when he is unable. It took me 3 visits to the club to get the upgrade finally done. Apparently you need an email from the club's head office to proceed with changes to memberships. We got the email and I payed the difference. I was enjoying gym and amenities such as waterbed massage for about one week just to find out today that I am not allowed to do that because according to the contract amenities are only for the main card holders. The poster by the entry to the gym dose not clearly specify this. When I asked Shabniz for details on contract she said my son got it so he should know. Well not too many of us is reading gym contracts in details but this was not the point I was there and I was simply asking for clarification. She finally showed me the paragraph and I was okay with that. However, I mentioned that if this is the rule gym staff need to be train properly to inform clients to avid similar situation to mine in the future. Unfortunately manager Shabniz disagreed with me insisting that her staff is properly train and it was my fault because I was using my son's card. Making me feel like I was snicking in to the gym under my son's card when in fact I payed upgrade to be officially able using the gym. On top of that she told me that the card is not upgraded yet as the rule is that upgrade is validated between 3-15 days which means I am not allowed to use black card until is validated. So I payed I have receipt and I can't use what I payed for? Will then gym extend my pass for the time of upgrade processing? To summarizing all the above this was unpleasant experience so easily avoidable if only Shabniz would change her attitudes and simply said I am sorry I will make sure my staff is train properly and I would be happy to offer you a free massage today. The result would be I would became a Fit4Less member instead I cancelled my upgrade and choose different fitness club.

Expérience positive: You get what you pay for here. This is a converted womens-only GoodLife, so it has decent equipment leftover (although no squat rack). The gym has closed unexpectedly early several times (today a note posted on the door stating it would be closed all afternoon/evening, minimum 7 hours when I arrived), and once due to it snowing out. This is Alberta! I get emergencies happen. I'd love to see more consistency with hours, or at least a better system for alerting customers to closures (Facebook update?) so an unnecessary trek isn't made. Looks like other commenters feel the same pain. Don't take your pre-workout until you get to the door and see it open.

I got charged 25 dollars twice and then 34.62 again on the same day and when I call and ask for an explanation all they say is the manager is not here right now! 100% would not recommend

Expérience négative: I noticed every morning or noon some of entertainment tv are shut off. For me, that I don't use my cellphone for entertainmen when I am at the gym. It would be nice if it's all on. I agree with Bryan review This place has really gone down hill . The carpet was dusty and looks dirty and if you look down under the machine is full of dust even the edges of this place is full of dust.

Expérience négative: This place has really gone down hill since I signed up a few years ago :( Mold growing in the bathroom and lockers, washroom is rarely clean, locker rooms need some major TLC if you look around. Still love the staff and location but it’s gotten pretty gross in here!
