It’s been 3 weeks so far and all I can say is Miguel has made me love the classes and always has me on check , making sure that my foot work and everything is on point. Definitely one of my favourite instructors in this city. Definitely hit him up for a one on one or try his classes you won’t be disappointed.

Expérience fantastique: HUF Boxing is a state-of-the-art, faith-based gym with a strong sense of community. From day one, owner Andrew has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. I did a session with Miguel, an excellent coach for sparring or competition, highly knowledgeable. The other coaches and fighters are open to providing valuable advice, tips from their ring expertise. All within my first two weeks here. In addition they offer classes for all skill levels, and everyone encourages and pushes each other. The staff are informative, upbeat, and eager to assist with any questions. Highly recommend!

From the very first moment i stepped in through those doors i knew this was the place for me and i needed to join. All the staff, the environment and even the people who are apart of this gym are all wonderful. Everyone is so welcoming, supportive and respectful. This place/staff has helped me more then they will ever know. They've helped me not just physically in bettering my health, they have also helped with my growth over all. Spiritually and mentally. I leave here always feeling so amazing and grateful. I HIGHLY recommend joining this beautiful place that uplifts every person who steps foot in it. I am new to boxing and have always wanted to try it out but never got around to it until now - HUF IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO START!!! I can’t express how wonderful everything has been and how inviting everyone is. I’ve been taking classes with Daniel instructing and not only is he super knowledgeable and encouraging, he is also extremely patient and will take the time to review movements and skills with you no matter many times it takes. Expérience négative: The message from the owner is false, huf's philosophy is completely opposite of that, full of drama and unstable immature people. These people can be dangerous, have gang ties, and I don't recommend them. If you have had a bad experience, which are many, I'm sure, don't be scared to give a review.

Expérience fantastique: Been going to HUF gym for a couple of months now. I started with no boxing experience and have been doing one on one sessions with Miguel F. He is an excellent coach. During each session he always pushes me to be better then the last time and go above and beyond what I’m comfortable with. Most importantly he takes the time to really watch what you’re doing and corrects you to make sure your technique/form is proper. During these past few months I’ve learned a lot about the sport and have improved significantly from when I first started. I look forward to learning more and continuing to improve.

I went to HUF for just over a year until I moved out of the city, I have to say this gym was one of the hardest things to let go. Expérience fantastique: I checked out HUF gym because I wanted to pick up boxing to improve my health. I signed up for some sessions with a personal trainer. And I enjoyed every session I had there. Every staff and member there made you feel welcome and taken care of like a family. They are so friendly and caring. The gym is well-equipped with lots of amazing stuff to work out with. A bit run-down, but work just fine. Highly recommended!!!

Expérience fantastique: In HUF Gym you get the Chance to train with real professionals. Not just in terms of the boxing classes, also when it comes to weight training. When you come there, everybody is nice and instantly helps you with the machines and stuff when you got questions. You gonna have a great time there. (Sorry for possible mistakes in my language ) :)

Expérience négative: I would not recommend anybody to sign up for a personal training class for a number of reasons it would be different if it wasn't so expensive but it was/is!! Especially since membership isnt included. I would recommend buying a punching bag off of kijij and buying a cd for boxing training and you will save a lot of money and get the same results. 1) when i first went to sign up and we talked about the pricing i was reluctant to pay more than imagined for 11 sessions and almost felt pressured to continue. 2) the first trainer i had was very hard to get a hold of and i had to message him up to three times in order to get a response back for him to only tell me hes busy with his own fight so he can no longer train me (so i don't understand why he was assigned to me if the gym knew he was busy and couldn't give me full attention). After this i felt discouraged and upset and like i was wasting my money and time 3) At least 2/3 arenas had huge holes in the middle of the floor boards which was a safety hazard and interfered with my training also most of the punching bags are held together by tape. The gym is good if you only pay for a membership and attend the classes definitely not for personal training i ended up not even finishing my last three sessions because i wanted the experience to end
