Tracy Moses and all the staff were exceptional. Conscientious and Professional. Always inquiring if we needed help with anything. The room was absolutely perfect and my guests were very comfortable. The food was also perfect. Thank you Sam. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to use the Country club for an event like this. Thank you so much!!

Expérience négative: Poor service at reception. If this is a member club, they let people wandering around their club. They are not doing a good job at the reception. As receptionist in hospitality industry, they don’t have the sense in how to serve customer, anticipate the needs and foresee outcome. Guess this club is hiring part time staff without proper training at all. Receptionists were talking to each other without looking around and monitoring the main entrance even though it’s now accessed with login card. Soooo disappointed to see a private member club is like this.

Expérience négative: I came to visit the facilities today Sunday 21 at around 1pm and the secretary Rachel provided the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I asked general questions about your tennis programs and her reply was “ I don’t know anything about that.” Since I came from far away I at least wanted to check out the tennis courts so I asked her where the tennis courts were and she failed to point me in their direction and instead said “I don’t want you walking around the facilities.” I didn’t want to wonder around the facilities. I wanted to check out the tennis courts from the viewers area. Before leaving the facility, I confronted her about her poor customer service and hostility towards me and the whole time she just avoided eye contact with me and proceeded working on her computer. She even laughed in my face along with the other girl who was also working at the desk. When I called her out on it she got up the desk and left me there talking. I firmly believe that this is not the first time she treats a customer like this and that she does not act like this with everyone, only with people of racial minorities, like myself. It is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and above all, racist for a staff member to treat a customer this way. Train your staff better, especially your front desk staff who are the face of the club. This was definitely not a good impression of the club. I definitely no longer want to register for your tennis programs. Professionalism aside, why are people so rude and racist nowadays? So unbelievably shocking.

Expérience négative: It was my daughter’s wedding. Paid top dollars for a party of 120 people. The venue was nice but forget about the food. Terrible service, pasta raw, skimpy salads, selected hors-d'oeuvres missing, poor cocktails service, appetizers came up short, terrible presentation of food, sweet table poor, bad quality, came up short! Shameful! We complained to the venue. No apologies, no refunds. I would not recommend this venue.

Expérience fantastique: I hosted a bridal shower for my daughter at RHCC yesterday and I wanted to express my gratitude for the amazing service we were given by the staff. Right from the time I sent an email to inquire about prices and availability, we were treated with the utmost respect. Tracy, the coordinator, was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. She responded to our questions quickly and offered great suggestions. The day of the event, all the staff on site were professional and helpful, particularly Lisa, Tracy, and Josie. The food was excellent and plentiful. All of our guests commented on how good the food was. The Georgian room was beautiful and bright. The event turned out perfectly and I would definitely use this venue again.

The layout is a bit strange situated as part of the sports complex and the ceremony was next to the pool and fountain so when it was a bit breezy I could feel the pool water blow over. Also, was funny seeing the pool boy watch the ceremony. However, the food was really good for a wedding banquet and service was very professional.

Expérience fantastique: I cannot say enough good things about this venue. I have enjoyed this venue as a guest, as a wedding planner, and as a bride. They are extremely professional and accommodating. Their food is delicious and their venue is beautiful. Most importantly, they have an honest business model. I have heard too many stories from fellow COVID brides that other venues are being greedy, unreasonable, and straight up ROBBING couples of their deposits and money. But all the staff, namely Tracy M, were nothing but kind, professional and AMAZING. Like I said, other big name venues have been committing straight up robbery to countless young couples and their families, I am very disappointed with how others are handling the pandemic. I will only recommend RHCC!

I know you may be contemplating because it is more expensive, however it is the value you get for the kids learning and fun. I truly hope that I can do the program this summer. Every time we drive by the building they get very excited and ask when they can go back to camp?! This past summer, even with covid, the staff made the girls feel welcome, and made me as a parent feel very safe and comfortable sending them. The girls have another summer of memories and cannot wait to o back!

Expérience fantastique: My kids have been going to RHCC Day Camp since they were toddlers. It is their home away from home. They love the activities, the people and the setting. My daughter has now been on staff for five years. This past summer 2020, they went above and beyond to make sure everyone at camp not only had a fun summer but a safe and healthy one as well.

Expérience positive: Had my senior prom there, decorations were nice and the balcony was great for taking pictures. We weren't allowed down into the pool area or gazebo to take pictures, and there are only 6 or so washroom stalls. Food is absolutely atrocious with dry chicken, steamed vegetables, undercooked rice and warm cheesecake.

Expérience fantastique: Attended this Country Club for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful. The wedding was held in a clearing a short way from the outside pool and patio. The staff was amazing. The patio area was well kept. The interior of the club is also beautiful. There were a variety of paintings and sculptures throughout. The ball room where the reception was held had a full wall of windows looking out over the grounds and a door that opened onto a pleasant porch. Overall, the event was phenomenal.

Expérience négative: They do a very nice job of putting on business meetings with lunches. Our group has held a number of lunch & learn seminars here over the years, but recently they began to add a bogus service charge on top of their room rental fee which just rubs me the wrong way. I always considered slipping on "cash grab" fees as underhanded and a dishonourable way of doing business and gouging customers. Furthermore, although it is generally accepted that a "service charge" is added to the price charged for food, people believe this money goes to the servers. At RHCC, they pocket this money so really it is just a further hidden upcharge to the prices they post for their meal services. Ethically questionable, definitely not above board.

Expérience positive: I hosted my wedding here in March 2018 and the venue was great except for the service from the wait staff. Particular servers gave attitude and when extra food (from guests that didn't show up) was not distributed among the rest of the guests from the same table. My guests with allergies were accommodated overall but some servers did not communicate clearly, so as for precaution, my guests had to always ask. The last thing you want is to cause a scene. Also, I was very disappointing that the extra food wasn't distributed among the rest of my guests when I've paid for it. Given that the service fee is built into the cost of your contract, 18% and taxed, I expected nothing but great service for my guests. Danielle was my coordinator for everything up to and the day of the wedding. It was easy communicating with her via email and she's very responsive. The hall is beautiful and it is surrounded by greenery. The location is perfect that it's not too far away. It is just off the Highway 407. I ordered the traditional 10 course Chinese menu for most guests. The vegetarians were delighted to find that they had just as many dishes as the regular menus in comparison to other Chinese restaurants or caterers.

Expérience négative: The pool had a problem with a dehumidifier twice this year and it's impossible to use it to due to high humidity. In the beginning of the year for 2-3 weeks and now it has been down for again for 1 week so far. They charge a very high fee for the membership but provide a horrible customer service giving their customers a run around. Michael Pasichny- Director sets a great example as well by providing zero incentive to remain a member of the club and clearly lacks customer service skills.
