Expérience positive: I joined LA Fitness in Aurora just over a year ago, and like with any gym, the staff makes all the difference. The team here is fantastic, they’re always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you. Teisha(corrected), in particular, stands out. Her warm smile and positive energy brighten everyone’s day. One time, I injured myself and wasn’t feeling great, and she immediately noticed something was off. She came over, asked if I was okay, and offered help. That kind of caring attitude is exactly what makes this place special.

Expérience négative: I signed up for the gym about 3 month ago. Upon signing the contract I was told that 1 hour of fitness assessment, coaching or whatever help I needed (exact words) is included in the contract. I was only using treadmill and pool until now. Yesterday I asked to book the session to show me around the lifting machines in the gym as I am not very familiar with the equipment. Today I got a phone call and Michael M. (Aurora location) and he told me that showing me how machines function is considered private coaching and it is not free. Well, I am not sure why I should continue my membership if I cannot even use the gym to the full potential.

Expérience négative: It is with immense frustration and disappointment that I write to express my absolute dismay with the personal training management at LA Fitness Aurora. This experience has been nothing short of a betrayal of trust, reflecting poorly on both your staff and management processes. In June 2024, I signed a contract for personal training sessions three times per week. However, my trainer repeatedly canceled sessions, and I was assured these would be credited to my account. Despite my persistent follow-ups, this promise was not fulfilled. After extensive communication with Mike, the personal training manager, I was informed the sessions couldn’t be added because the VP, Braendon, was on vacation. This excuse is unacceptable. A company of your size should never let an executive’s vacation paralyze your ability to fulfill basic contractual obligations. As if this wasn’t enough, when I decided to cancel my contract due to this abysmal experience, I was told I had to pay 50% of the remaining balance as stated in the contract. This is not justifiable. If LA Fitness cannot deliver the services promised, why am I being held to a contract that your company has already breached? The imbalance here is staggering: the client is penalized for holding up their end, while LA Fitness gets away with negligence. This ordeal has been exhausting physically, financially, and emotionally. I signed up for personal training to invest in my health, but instead, I’ve been left feeling deceived and helpless. The ultimate insult came when I requested to speak with the VP directly after his vacation and was told that “he doesn’t talk to members.” What kind of business treats its clients with such dismissiveness? To add salt to the wound, I was told by your staff that my situation “sucks” and there’s “nothing that can be done.” Let me make one thing clear: this is not just a “situation.” This is an egregious failure in customer service, professionalism, and accountability. I would not recommend personal training at LA Fitness to anyone, let alone my worst enemy. I demand immediate action to resolve this matter. This includes: 1. A full refund for the sessions I was unable to attend. 2. A formal apology from management acknowledging the mishandling of my case. Until these actions are taken, I will ensure that my experience is made public across all platforms available to me. The public deserves to know the kind of mismanagement and disregard LA Fitness demonstrates toward its paying members. It’s time for LA Fitness to decide whether it values its members or only their money.

He is so helpful and knowledgeable. He will also take the time to sit down with you and go over your fitness goals and give you all the answers you need instead of researching for hours.

Expérience négative: Don't bother coming in anytime after 3 pm as there will be 10 guys waiting to use a single machine. Otherwise a decent gym with ok amenities.

Expérience négative: so I’m going to be completely honest with this review the people who work here are lovely everyone from the cleaning staff to the personal trainers in the front staff and managers everybody’s very cordial and polite. It’s fun to work out at this gym for that reason. my reasoning behind such a low score is that the condition of the gym is depleting. a lot of times the cardio equipment is not 100% functioning with broken buttons and skipping belts. for stuff to be fixed, it takes forever. cable machines are often broken and take quite a while to fix cable machine. Accessories are almost nonexistent many time. Many times the Wi-Fi is not working properly. It’s just one thing after another and it’s not the club level staff that are the problem. I think that head office has to do a better job providing the club with the proper resources To ensure that equipment is being kept up-to-date and repaired at all times And when stuff does break down, it doesn’t take months to get fixed.

Expérience fantastique: Well what can I say. Nearly 50 and I needed to get fit after being a slug for a year. Hamed is AWESOME! I was a little intimidated going in as it’s a man heavy gym (there is a ladies only room too!). Michael signed me up and paired me with Hamed who is a Master Trainer. He’s patient and requiring and kind but pushes me to sweat all the liquid out of my body! He understands what I want to achieve. I would not be pushing myself without him. I’m 14 weeks in to my journey and if I can do it anyone can!

Expérience fantastique: I joined LA Fitness Aurora after COVID (Was previously with Goodlife). Much bigger facility with pool, spa, and LOTS of equipment! Even in very busy times, you don't have to wait very long for a particular piece of equipment. Membership also lets you bring a friend to work out with you. That said, I suggest you try to avoid the "after school rush" Lastly, I've overheard many others say that the Aurora location is nicer (cleaner, working equipment, etc.) than some of the other LA Fitness locations that are relatively close by.
