Expérience fantastique: Iron Fitness is an amazing facility which operates 24hrs 7 days a week. This provides me with the flexibility to go anytime without having to rush! The staff and management are phenomenal and always available to address any questions or concerns. The facility is clean and quite spacious with a ton of equipment. All the members are very friendly and super supportive whenever you need a spot. Membership pricing is very reasonable and would highly recommend this facility to anyone local!

Expérience fantastique: This gym is an amazing local small business gym that not only has that old school muscle man free weight feel but also welcomes the casual gym goer too. IMO, the gym should be supported for standing up to top down political pressures in past years while keeping the ongoing needs of their member’s health and wellness in mind! The owner is a great guy who resolved a billing/membership mishap personally for me. On the customer care front, they hit home runs there too! Excellent gym, very nice staff, and a 24 hour open option that cannot be beat as it is self-guided with a key fob on your schedule any time any day despite rain or snow. Gyms like this need to be kept alive because the big chain gyms were disgustingly cancelling memberships based on personal choices in the winter of 2021/2022 while this amazing gym treated everyone equally despite the choice they made with their bodies. No discrimination or segregation at Iron Fitness Markham. Definitely get a membership here if you live nearby! Thank you again J!

Expérience fantastique: So unlike the other gyms. This is a hardcore strenth traning gym. You can only smell the iron and the sweat. The atmosphere makes you push yourself to training. The price is good. And don't worry about the closing time. The gym even opened on power outage night.

Expérience fantastique: Iron Fitness has all the machines and weights, great for people working out at all kinds of fitness levels. I've been going here for around 8 years and still love it. The only complaint is that it might be a bit grungy for some folk, but I've grown accustomed to it.

The pressures that these people go through can upset them in their conduct with customers. But she is one person who I have always seen with a positive energy and always willing to go an extra mile to help. My interactions with her give me an overall positive feed on the gym. Expérience fantastique: This place is awesome. I've never been to a gym with such a good variety of strength and cardio equipment including numerous squat racks benches and lots of Dumbbells. Rates at this facility are extremely reasonable to make it even more attractive. If you live in the area and want a good option to lift weight, do cardio and get in shape check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Expérience fantastique: I found this gym while living nearby for a few months in Toronto and it was awesome! I am planning to move back to Toronto soon and am excited to renew my membership here. Being open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week was so convenient for my schedule and the rates were very reasonable. The equipment was all very new, clean, and I never found myself wishing they had more. It seems like a successful gym in terms of membership but I rarely found myself waiting for any equipment which was nice. Being able to watch like 3 TVs at once while jogging is something that I miss. Looking forward to coming back and I think well run businesses like this deserve props.

Expérience fantastique: Probably the best gym I've ever been to. Let me workout on my schedule with no staff bugging me, let me pay upfront cash a year at a time, clean showers, lots of power cages and platforms. The only thing I wish they had was more space for agility/stretching, but that's not worth docking a star from. I've never personally met the owner, but I appreciate him especially with his policies around the pandemic.

I moved to Markham a few months and a friend of mine suggested to look for a local gym and told me about Iron. I’m so happy with this gym. I love the fact that it’s also open 24/7! This gives me flexibility around my busy schedule and to drop in and workout whenever I can. Thanks for staying open for my mental, emotional and physical health! You guys rock! Can’t see myself at any other gym, but yours. Let me also add the fact the equipment is great, all works! All members are also very respectful of others and I love the fact it feels like home where I feel safe and respected.

Expérience fantastique: So happy that I signed up at this gym. The equipment selection and quality is good, the staff and patrons are kind, and you can drop in whenever you feel like it (24h gym). This gym is very much a no nonsense gym and I love it for that. They are also very serious about not discriminating against anyone for any reason, a rare thing in post-rona 2021, which I also love. People come to get a get a good workout in and focus on themselves. This place is everything a good gym should be.

Expérience fantastique: So I chose this place over the Cornell Community Centre gym because of four very important reasons: 1) It is slightly more reasonably priced 2) The folks here, both the staff and the people that work out here are very friendly and helpful. If you want to be all by yourself, you'll fit in. If you like a crew to work out with, you'll fit in 3) You can work out 24 hours a day here 4) No contracts, you can just do month to month from day one

The friendly staff and members, combined with the equipment and atmosphere, provided me with everything I need to feel at home. As a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter I have found Iron is the best outfitted facility in the area for me. Full disclosure: I now work here, and happily so :-)

Expérience positive: 24/7 fitness hours is fantastic. Lots of squat racks and free weights while maintaining a decent cardio section with treadmills, ellipticals and stairmasters. There isn't much space for stretching/yoga (a lot of gyms have dedicated studio rooms for these), but there are spots around the facility.

Expérience positive: My husband came in here with a close friend of ours to find a new gym to go to. We have a gym at home but sometimes you just got to go out and enjoy some work outs with strangers lOL. My husband is a great chatter and people love him so when they went in he just clicked with the manager there and he gave him some great promo/discount SHHHHH. It's funny because we were actually looking at this gym two years ago but they had a really really BAD female employee that just made us NOT want to enroll to this gym and we went to another one for a short while until our gym was completed at home. My husband spoke to the manager about her and he immediately remembered who he was talking about. He apologized for our past experience and said that he fired her because of her terrible attitude towards current and potential clients.

Expérience fantastique: Been going to Iron Fitness strength club for a year and previously before that on and off. This place has ruined a regular gym for me everyone is friendly it has everything you need, and when it comes to lifting you can feel the motivation and seriousness in the gym. Its awesome, i would deff recomend this place to anyone actually serious about lifting and to my knowledge they have top of the line personal trainers.

Rates are fair, staff are friendly, and other members generally do a good job of cleaning up and re-racking weights. Busiest times are usually in the evening (7-10 pm), but other than that I have found that I never had to wait over 10 minutes to use any equipment. Overall, this gym has an amazing atmosphere!

Expérience fantastique: what's good: you barely ever have to wait for equipment even when it gets busy, everyone's very nice and accomodating, no one complains about chalk usage/noise, 24/7 access, very motivating/inspiring environment as there are lots of serious/accomplished lifters who frequent this gym what could be better: wifi is inconsistent, the equipment could be replaced sooner (most of the stuff that was bad got replaced recently though), music is a little cringey sometimes. Also wish they still sold merch like they did in their first year of opening :(

Expérience négative: I spoke to a representative (Female) of the Gym in reference to joining, Her unwillingness to provide service was baffling, I asked about the contract rate for students and non students, as i am moving internationally and need a gym to frequent. Her responses included lip smacking and being generally rude, The gym looked like a solid contender for what im used to in the states though the price is considerably higher even with its lack of amenities. I have family and friends who i intend to train with and will have to put this gym as a strong NO until the customer service matches the equipment inside.

Expérience fantastique: I've been going to this gym for at least two years now. The rates are extremely reasonable and do not fluctuate at all. If you are dedicated to working out and getting fit this gym is for you. Everyone is friendly, and wait times for the three squat racks don't take too long. This gym is smaller than other gyms, but that's what makes it better. The community feels more tight knit, and more encouraging. In terms of activity and traffic, this gym gets crowded from 6PM to 9PM. Try to come earlier, or later. Whatever floats your boat.

Expérience fantastique: I did a free trial here and it was by far one of the best gyms I have ever been to. Helpful and friendly staff. The gym is clean with lots of equipment and benches. The free trial is for 3 days and you can use it any days and it doesn't have to be consecutive with no deposit. They have bumper plates and it is 24 hours. Highly recommended.

Expérience fantastique: A friend and I decided to visit this gym last week to check it out, and we were very impressed. This gym is the first ever that I've seen to offer new first time visitors a free 3-day workout card, which doesn't need to be used consecutively! The gym environment is very refreshing and has very good equipment, and also offers a deadlift platform, which most gyms commercial and private gyms don't have, as well as bumper plates! The gym is also very well cooled, not too hot and not too cold, with a nice garage door opened during hot weather to let the members experience a refreshing breeze. The only flaw that I could see was the changing room lockers, some were in rough shape, and it seemed a bit small. But that being said it doesn't take away from the workout experience at this gym. The gym is opened 24/7 for members, and has a good opening time frame for non-members as well. I enjoyed my experience here, there were no gimmicks or tricks to indulge themselves with putting money before the customer. I hope to come back here soon!
