Expérience fantastique: The best ice in Alberta. We play every week and it’s almost always perfect. Also fieldhouse is in good shape (used for baseball & lacrosse) and running track and workout area upstairs are nice to have. Climbing wall (The Arch) is regularly used and seems to be a good time but I haven’t personally it. Additionally it’s connected to the swimming pool in town which is pretty cool. I’m a regular here.

Expérience négative: I watched someone piss and blow their nose in the showers, talk to some staff about it, and they said “ oh not my problem I’m about to be off, I literally don’t care.” I was so appalled.

Expérience négative: The fitness area is extremely dirty. There is one spray bottle with a dirty rag per 10 pieces of equipment. You have to go searching for the spray bottle every time you’re done with a machine. I have never seen an employee switch out the rags, ever.

Expérience positive: The rec centre honestly the most convenient gym/rec for anyone living in beaumont, however it does have some flaws like private bookings for the basketball court, indoor field and lack of gym equipment. Recently they have added a lot of new equipment which fixes part of the issue… would definitely hope they fix the basketball schedule which is constantly changing or unavailable due to private bookings. The staff is very kind and are always making small talk or efforts to provide the best service! I’d chose these guys over the private gyms in beaumont!

Expérience positive: Fairly nice facility with good stadiums seating for hockey. Very disappointed with the concession services. Every time we have come out to games for our junior team on either a Friday night or Saturday night the concession is either closed or closes during the game.

Expérience négative: This is an OK facility. The pool and hot tub are always shut down because kids poop and pee in the pool all the time the prices for everything is ridiculous and this should be free for people who live in Beaumont and pay the highest taxes in Alberta.

Expérience positive: Average facilities but generally nice because it’s not overcrowded. Inconsistent application of rules by lifeguards seemingly targeted, specifically when it comes to who needs to be within arms length of parents - was told my son, who is 6, can swim, and is wearing a lifejacket, can’t be in the kiddie pool without me. Then, glancing over, kids about the same age are jumping off the diving board unaccompanied. The few times I’d been before this was never an issue until the one time. Maybe the lifeguard was in a bad mood?

Expérience fantastique: Awesome place for families. We usually go for swimming. They have hot tub, sauna bath and a water slide. There are also ice skating rings, soccer and food courts.

Expérience négative: I was at the rec center August 10 in the morning. I was quietly reading my book when a woman approached me. She asked if I was a Christian and I said no. The look of shock on her face spoke volumes. She asked me 3 times what religion am I and I kept telling her that's personal and I'm trying to read my book. She kept harassing me until she finally walked away telling me that Jesus loves me. I moved to a different table to be sure I was out of her immediate view. I am upset and appalled that this person thinks she has the right to ask me personal questions. I expect a response to this review and at no point was there any security around to report this to.

Expérience fantastique: From what I seen, this is a very nice place to go for most of your outdoor indoor activity needs. I thought the pool was a little bit small. My children liked it though. We would have liked to have some things to play with. I think that is probably efficient but not very big for the growing town that they have.

Expérience fantastique: We had a great time at the center! We went swimming and absolutely loved the warm water pool — it was so relaxing and perfect for all ages. The facility was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We only paid around $25 for a family pack, which is very affordable for such a nice experience. The lifeguards were actively patrolling the pool the whole time, which made us feel really safe. It was quite busy in the evening, but the energy was fun and family-friendly. We had such a good time that we’ve decided to make it a regular visit now. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, there have been reported break-ins, which raises questions about the effectiveness of their security measures. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and ensures a safer environment for members."

Expérience positive: very nice place and stand are raised above the ice and players benches. needed a public bathroom on 2nd floor as you would have to go all the way downstairs by the pool to find a bathroom. morning Zamboni driver was great but afternoon guy missed spots all over the place.

Expérience négative: Very unhappy with the centre services. It's hard to get kids ready for swimming in the morning. There were no lessons on Easter weekend but they didn't feel any need to inform parents.a simple email should have been fine. And the front staff feels it's like that but they has no answer. Very unprofessional.

Expérience positive: Honestly very undecided about how many stars. I would give 5 stars for the awesome friendly, caring philipino front desk staff. I would give 1 star for the safety of the facility with regards to theft and 1 star for the availability of using the soccer field. Swimming staff in the past have been super awesome with watching over my children and being friendly and welcoming. Wish it was a salt water pool or anything else than the harsh chemicals due to my daughter’s eczema. She was swimming often but after skin would feel like it’s burning. I also think with such a big town a play land like terwilleger would have made sense.

Expérience négative: No swimming on weekends til 1 in the afternoon? That's terrible for kids! Close the pool down right after school until late evening for 6 kids to do private swim lessons. So ridiculous! Even the slide is shut down for no reason at all. Parents on there phones sitting sidelined, no clue whether their kid can swim or not. If they want private lessons go somewhere else but open up the public pool during daylight hours for kids

Expérience fantastique: Huge recreation center. Big pool with hot tub, steam room, sauna. Large fitness center, the machines are well used but perfectly functional. The facility is a bit older in design but offers plenty of options with a rock climbing wall, basketball court, turf soccer pitch, ice hockey rink, walking circuit and group fitness classes. Great for families and lots of communal spaces.

Expérience positive: Went there today to look for sports and activities- some key things they have are two ice hockey rings- pretty decent sized; Basketball courts, fitness area and a nice pool. We wanted to play badminton but there wasn’t any games on. They go by schedule so you would have to follow that in order to have a chance to play the sport. In my opinion they should have all sports at all times rather than switch up space from time to time. There weren’t many people which is a positive while comparing to Edmonton area rec centres. Single admission is cheaper however they offer no trial passes.

Expérience fantastique: I am a senior whose uses the gymnasium regularly. The gym is clean and well equipped. Maria is very diligent and excellent at her job. She is always walking around cleaning up. She always has a ready smile and is very pleasant.

Expérience fantastique: Went to the pool for my daily sauna session at the end of the night, only to leave realizing I forgot my water bottle. I came back 5 minutes later after realizing it was missing to see one of the lifeguards Ross protecting it with his life and on a journey to figure out where the missing water bottle belongs. God bless the brc lifeguards who are truly hero’s to all of society.

Expérience négative: June 09,2024 - This place is disgusting !! People pooping in the pool and they only shut it down for short time.. Why are these people not fined or ban?? Better question who are these freeks.

Expérience négative: Do not bring valuables to this rec centre. My partner locked his phone and wallet in one of the provided lockers in the pool change room where you enter your own code. While we were swimming someone who had a master key opened his locker and his cousins locker and stole both of their phones and wallets. After we told staff about the incident they shared that they were aware of frequent theft as an ongoing issue however are not telling people because they have signs posted stating “protect your locker code”. The issue was not that someone saw their locker codes, the issue is that someone has a master key. Shame on them for not warning people that use the facilities. We made a report to RCMP and will not be visiting this rec centre again.

Expérience négative: Putting the Beaumont Aquafit on blast for not dealing with a theft problem they have clearly had for years. My husband’s stuff was stolen out of a locked code locker at the Beaumont Aquafit last night while he took our kid to their swimming lessons. Would you feel safe taking your kids there ? Would you feel safe letting your kids attend a program there on their own ? Last night sure got me thinking twice about it. Best to bring your own lock to their change rooms as the code lockers they have can easily be broken into. It’s very sad how many people have had to deal with the situation we did. We won’t be back.

Expérience fantastique: I always love to visit the Beaumount rec center. The pool area is totally separate from non buying users. There is a small viewing area where you can watch from,but it's far away from dry sauna, wet sauna, hot tube.

Expérience positive: Nice pool, TERRIBLE instructor for swim lessons. They do not implement feedback nor are the instructors motivated to teach proper swim skills. The instructor just stares at the clock the entire time, starts class late and ends early. Will not be returning.

Expérience négative: Disappointing Security Measures at Beaumont Sports and Recreational Center I had a miserable experience at the Beaumont Sports and Recreational Center on February 17th, 2024, at 2030 hrs. After my workout, I was shocked to discover that my lock had been broken into, resulting in the theft of my wallet, keys, and clothes. To make matters worse, my vehicle and work equipment were also stolen. This incident highlights a severe security issue at the center. I highly recommend that everyone either invest in a good lock or take their belongings into the workout or pool area with them. It is evident that the Beaumont Sports and Recreational Center needs to urgently update its security policies, procedures, and physical barriers to prevent such incidents from occurring. The lack of security measures not only resulted in the loss of personal belongings but also had a significant impact on my daily life and work. The management needs to prioritize the safety and well-being of their members by implementing more robust security measures. I hope that my unfortunate experience serves as a wake-up call for the management of the Beaumont Sports and Recreational Center. I urge them to take immediate action to enhance security and provide a safe environment for all visitors.

Expérience positive: Facility and staff is great. But jeez is it difficult to enroll in any swimming classes. Long line-ups on the registration date and everything gets booked within hours. City needs to figure out a better way to do this

Expérience fantastique: Attentive staff, clean facilities, and amazing activities to choose from. My family and I visited the pool... awesome! There are 2 different style pools to choose from, plus a hot tub, steam room, and a sauna. All impeccably clean. There is also rock climbing, a workout gym, squash/racket ball, ice sports, and crafting clubs, just to name a few of the other activities available here. We love coming here!
