Fantastic experience: Project Arete created a custom training plan for the Toronto Wolverines U12 Hockey team during an Ottawa Tournament. Though the Ottawa teams (with assistance from their local referees) scored more goals than the Toronto players did - the highlight was the training at the gym! Natalie and Kevin methodically went through warm ups, various introductions to training; both in practice and in theory inside and outside. The kids benefitted from their expertise, and the session definetly laid the groundwork and foundation for future fitness endeavours. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: To say that Natalie changed my life is not an overstatement. I started going to Project Arete when I was suffering from debilitating back pain that really reduced my movement and quality of life. Natalie very kindly and effectively supported me with modifications in the group classes, allowing me to train around my injury while also feeling part of the group atmosphere that is so, so wonderful about this gym. Thanks to Natalie's care and attention, I was able to work on my strength and mobility to resolve the back pain to the point where 3 months later, I was doing the full workouts with everyone else, felt at ease in my body for the first time in several months and was able to get back to doing things I love again like biking and sports. I can hardly believe the transformation and am grateful each day when I get out of bed with the ability to move my body! What Natalie has created at the gym, both in terms of physical space and the supportive community, is truly special and I can't recommend it enough! Check it out!

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Natalie for a little over 4 months and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience so far. I really appreciate Natalie's flexibility with the training program (I mostly train at home but go to the gym for in-person sessions), personalized approach to the training, availability to answer questions, motivation and advice in my fitness journey. Fantastic experience: Carp’s hidden gem! Over the years, I’ve had a few personal trainers and I’d have to say that Natalie is by far the best I’ve had. The workouts are always different, challenging and fun. Natalie’s super motivating and just overall awesome to train with. My dad and I are both very happy with working with her! We both highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: First and foremost, Natalie is amazing! I came across Project Arete when my level of fitness was at an all time low. After 8 weeks, I’m energized, motivated and excited for my next class. Natalie is knowledgeable, patient and makes you want to succeed. Fantastic experience: As a former national team athlete I have high expectations when it comes to trainer knowledge, workout plans and group dynamics. Project Arete has been the best workout I've had since retiring from my sport. The small group atmosphere is motivating because everyone challenges themselves to do their best and encourages each other to do the same. I love showing up and not having to think about or plan my workout. Most of all I love that Natalie has a good sense of what each person is capable of and pushes us to our own individual limits within the group setting. Thank you Project Arete for this amazing service!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Natalie at Project Arete since early 2021. It is hard to express how valuable this has been for me. Not only have I gotten stronger and more fit, it has made me happier and more mentally strong. Natalie is an incredible trainer. Her programming has impressively taken me through the early stages of building a good base, through an injury, and now on to some higher goals. The workouts are challenging but not painful, they are rewarding and Natalie is always fun, positive and encouraging. She has an eye for form and I feel confident I am learning from the best. The gym has everything you need, and the community is great! I would highly recommend Project Arete!
Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this gym to anybody, of any fitness level! Natalie approaches each fitness session with a positive and energetic attitude, which is contagious. She motivates and encourages you to push pass what you think your limits are. Natalie's varies the workouts for each session so it's never the same, making it fun and wanting you to come back. I have personally seen growth and results from her program.
Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic gym! Natalie has an enthusiastic and uplifting attitude, encouraging me at every turn to work my hardest. I love that our classes were geared towards achieving my personal goals with workouts tailored to my max ability on any given day. She is super engaged and attentive, watching my form and correcting mistakes as I train, teaching me to build more awareness of my own form over time. Before I started training with Natalie my posture was poor, my strength was low and I wasn’t getting a proper diet. Overtime this led to a daily feeling of lethargy that I only realized was there once it had disappeared after I started training! Now with a more active lifestyle I have a lot more energy, my posture has improved drastically, and I am eating a proper diet based on a nutrition plan Natalie helped me put together. Overall, I can’t speak highly enough of Natalie as a personal trainer. I would especially recommend her to someone looking for a trainer who can provide nutrition advice alongside custom tailored workouts.
Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough about this gym and experience with their online classes. The classes are targeted to individual level (not at all intimidating) with continual ‘check-ins’ to ensure you are being supported in your goals and growth. It has been fantastic for my busy work/life schedule. I love working out daily with the morning group of women, it is empowering and a great start to everyday.
Fantastic experience: I have been doing daily workouts for a few months now, and I am LOVING it!! These quick 30 minute sessions easily fit into my day and I noticed a difference in my strength, endurance and body tone within the first month! I have increased energy, motivation, and this has been a huge stress release for me. The very best part of these sessions is how one-on-one Natalie makes each member feel. If I am ever falling out of proper form or she sees I am not doing a movement correctly, Natalie takes the time to go over everything and makes sure I am comfortable and understand everything before moving on. Her patience and positive outlook are so motivating and keeps me looking forward to working out with her again the following day!! I would highly recommend Project Acrete to EVERYONE, and for every fitness level!!
Fantastic experience: Natalie has been personal training me in the online space for the last 10 months. Her workouts are empowering and impactful and I have been able to stick with them due to a combination of results + her incredible teaching style. I highly recommend her gym!
