Fantastic experience: I had surgery for a partial knee replacement with Dr. Snider. When it was time for therapy I met Brandon. He has been so helpful, patient and knowledgeable with helping me progress in my recovery. Always on time with a smile and a great attitude. I appreciate him enormously. The girls at the front desk are friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Dr. Costa and the team at Acumen Clinic. They all have been extremely accommodating, and professional in the total knee replacement I required. This surgery would have been a two year process in B.C medical system. I was fortunate to have the consult in Vancouver, and surgery, in Calgary with in a 4-1/2 week period. I am presently 17 days post surgery, walking with a cane, with little discomfort, and increasing mobility .I will certainly go this route with my other knee as soon as time permits. Fantastic experience: I had AC shoulder reconstruction surgery after an injury playing soccer. Dr. Jesse was awesome in diagnosing the issue and taking me through the steps of the surgery, from the procedure itself to the different stages of recovery. The surgery went very well and I was left with minimal scarring. Brandon helped me with the recovery portion post surgery and got me out of the sling in under 6 weeks, after 11 weeks I was back lifting weights and on the road to full fitness. I couldn't have imagined having this surgery anywhere else and feel I made the right decision for my future health.

Fantastic experience: Finding the right fit of athlete therapist, trainer, surgeon, support team is challenging. Our son sublexed his shoulder in sport and we quickly got him to a physio therapist that had great reviews, and then after a few weeks, he was cleared to return to sport, he sublexed his shoulder a 2nd time and we returned again and saw a different therapist which was better and clearer guidance. After a 3rd and 4th sublexations and 7 specialists we finally met with the Acumen team. The Acumen team was thorough from Dr. Jesse the surgeon and he explained in detail the MRI results, options and risks, then we planned a physio rehabilitation with the Acumen Team with Whitney (Athletic therapist), Mike (strength and conditioning specialist) with an elite baseball focus, and also received support from other team members including Brandon, Shannon, and Alex. This was the right “Team” / fit for us because of how thorough they were at all times, the trust that was built, and how they worked as a team versus individuals. It seemed they cared more for the client than anything individual always made us feel that we were getting the absolute best of support. In addition, we had clear results, guidance for what to work on and a plan. I could easily ramble on about how the experiences have been best through the Acumen Team vs all the other specialists; however, for us it was communication, expertise, trust, plan, and relationship.

Fantastic experience: All four of our multi sport teenage daughters have been to Brandon for knee issues and a high ankle sprain injury. The girls felt completely at ease, and he did a great job at explaining the injury they had, as well as demonstrating the physio plan they needed to do and the mechanics behind each exercise. he also stressed the importance of doing it consistently and properly to ensure that they could resume their activities as soon as possible. He was great with my teenage girls! Brandon’s wealth of knowledge is top notch, and he takes the time to educate his patients which is a huge bonus. He’s personable and truly cares about his patients. Our family won’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Amazing! Let me tell you, I've had a shoulder injury for the past ten years and have struggled to figure out what's wrong. In just one appointment, the team had their suspicions which was quickly confirmed by some imaging they had requested to be done. Dr.S did my surgery which went very smoothly (worth every penny spent). And my recovery and rehabilitation with the team is going just as well. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to work with you in which ever way they can. I have honestly never felt better

Fantastic experience: I want to share how it exceptional the Acumen clinic is in the south (130th area)! A very professional and exceptional team of sports therapists BUT they go above and beyond treating just sports related ailments! I had a muscle/nerve related issue (not even close to sports related) that no other clinician was able to treat and Dr. Brian Boisvert resolved my issue in just two treatments of ART and dry needling. I cannot convey the relief I felt after months of discomfort and I am so grateful. Please think outside the box of usual massage therapy and physio if you are not getting successful results. Beyond impressed!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Boisvert, or Brian with the magic hands, is a blessing. Whether I have irritated my piriformis with heavy deadlifts, or have tension in my quads from too much cycling, he undoes the worst of it and makes sure I leave with stretches and ways of prevention going forward. No matter what mystery body ailment I bring him, we work together to get me going again as soon as reasonably possible. He has also supported major surgery recovery, for both myself, and my best friend. I have recommended him to those I love because of my absolute trust in his professionalism, knowledge and care. He will teach you as much or as little as you want to know about taking care of your body, and actively supports whatever activity journey you are on. 10 ⭐

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brian is a fantastic chiropractor, I would recommend him to everyone. I also appreciate that the clinic has an attached gym so he could actually show me the excersizes that he recommended I do.

Fantastic experience: The Acumen Performance team has been very helpful with my recovery this off season. I have been working with their athletic therapists to help me rehab my shoulder and regain my range of motion post surgery while their team of strength coaches has been helping me through my off season strength program.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Whitney for several years now for my random sports injuries. She is very thorough knowledgeable and can explain exactly what is going on and how to get better. If you need help with an injury don’t hesitate to go see her right away!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Brandon for several years. He recently moved to this clinic and is excellent to work with. He is always on time for appointments, takes his time to assess my injuries and educates me on the injury. He is a wealth of knowledge. The clinic is very clean and modern. The check in process is all automated and makes it super convenient to book, or pay for appointments.

Fantastic experience: Had a pec tendon rupture August 2022. A gp and two orthos misdiagnosed as a partial muscle tear despite an mri and it being clearly detached to me. Saw Jesse. Was in 12 days later in December. Surgery went well. Recovery has also gone very well. They were incredibly interested and supportive. Best money I’ve ever spent.

Fantastic experience: I initially came to Acumen to improve my strength & fitness. I was so fortunate to connect with Whitney Dikoume. She took the time to listen to where I was at and devised challenging, safe workouts to help me work towards my goals. Along the way it became apparent that I had some issues that were limiting me. Whitney suggested she could bring in Dr. Brian Boisvert who might be able to help. Brian also patiently listened to me, came up with a treatment plan and then collaborated with Whitney to ensure everything would work together. Brian will often come into the gym after my treatments to discuss with Whitney what he thinks is going on and ensure the treatment & workout are supportive of each other. The collaboration & connection between these 2 is incredible. I feel very fortunate to be able to work with Whitney & Brian and would highly recommend both of them!

Fantastic experience: The trainers and therapists run nothing less than a 5 star operation at acumen clinic . They not only helped me recover from my scaphoid wrist surgery but also make significant gains in my strength and conditioning which is vital for my performance as a professional athlete . They also easily set up my mother , who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis in several areas of her body , with a stellar program that helped her get back to moving with less pain! Dustin was who I worked with the most and was not only an elite trainer but also a great guy to be around ! Highly recommend acumen clinic to those looking for rehab , recovery , strength and conditioning , or all of the above .

Fantastic experience: I regularly see Acumen’s chiropractor, Dr. Brian Boisvert, for ALL my aches and pains. Not only does he work wonders on my back but he has significantly reduced my hip pain that tends to flair up monthly. I struggle with migraines as well and Dr. Brian has reduced their frequency and intensity substantially. I would highly recommend him anytime you need a little grease in your gears. Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say. I'm a hockey goalie, I genuinely didn't believe that I could be helped. My knee hurt for weeks after every game and has been that way for years. I heard about Acumen in the dressing room and decided I had nothing to lose.
