Fantastic experience: It’s been a while since l had been back - 5 yrs as things change - but l must say my first interaction and follow up with the day time staff friendly, helpful , welcoming and issues dealt with as promised and after a positive session of Donna’s flowing Pilates class it ended with unexpected cheerful meet up with Dave. Good atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Just moved to this town about a month ago and was looking for a Gym to workout at. Found the mill and it is exactly what I was looking for..clean, friendly staff and friendly members made it an enjoyable experience (even with all the openings and closing of the pandemic). I would recommend.

Negative experience: Nice atmosphere but pricy

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym I have ever belonged to!!! The staff are like family, the equipment new/clean and everything actually works! The overall environment is motivating and pleasant without any of the wildlife you may encounter in big box gyms. Not to mention the location right in the heart of one of the most scenic areas in Southern Ontario. Try it out you wont be disappointed!

Negative experience: The manager and front desk are rude, unfriendly, dismissive and judgemental of the clients. If the staff spends less time gossiping of their clients and more time helping it may be of some improvement. Is this the direction of the new ownership?

Negative experience: RFM is under new ownership who (we had thought) understand its biggest asset are RFM’s members, themselves. UPDATE: Regrettably, we must change our review. It just reached a point where after many years loyal membership, too many negative experiences made us feel our membership was not valued. Thanks for the response, but to be clear, our (more than one person) concerns had nothing to do with "policies and procedures implemented since the onset of the global pandemic ... put into place with collective members safety being paramount."

Negative experience: I give it zero stars due to the rudeness and the disgusting behaviour regarding comments that old witch makes about the paying members - the owner needs to know about his staff and what A Holes they are

Fantastic experience: Riverdale Fitness Mill is a fantastic space and a refreshing break from the franchise gyms. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. My personal trainer Alan is truly incredible, skilled and dedicated to my well being.The equipment is exceptional, the gym is clean and tidy, the multiple fitness classes are small enough that the instructors provide individual attention. The staff are always welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Love the atmosphere this gym offers. If you don’t like the craziness of big franchise gyms then you’ll enjoy working out at Riverdale.

Fantastic experience: Riverdale usually has well maiantined equipment and great facilities that are always top notch for cleanliness. Staff is always welcoming and hospitable. The overall atmosphere is much more comfortable than a large franchise gym, and there is. Reason why as Student, I always sign up there in the summers off of school when I am back. Would definitely recommend it, and there are several Accommodations available when/if needed...all you have to do is ask, and the staff are genuinely willing tonasist you in any way they can, whether it be answering questions or giving you a spot! The atmosphere overall that they have created is what makes Riverdale so unique and why they have been in business so long; despite the impersonal corporate chains. Definitely recommend using The Riverdals Fitness Mill, especially coming from a standpoint of someone who is an experienced certified personal trainer as well as a certified strength and conditioning coach.

Positive experience: The gym definitely needs some equipment upgrades. They need to increase staff hours aswell, they close way too early. Giving the fact that this gym is so expsensive they need to make accomdations for their members/clinets and increase hours on weekdays and weekends. Not a bad place though. Staff is friendly, its very clean.

Negative experience: Whoever wrote “price can’t be beat” must be someone on the inside of riverdale fitness because their prices are the highest of all locals gyms in the area. Additionally these other gyms that are offering better flexibLe memberships packages at a a lower price are 24 hours , riverdale is not . Riverdale closes early almost everyday especially on weekends! So unless you have a lot of free time be prepared to work around their schedule and probably miss some workouts!!! (The equipment is also average and they have limited supply so when it does get busy prepare to wait) Some pros about Riverdale- the gym is quite clean and the Members are friendly , the staff is also very friendly besides one shorter older lady with blonde short hair who can be quite rude and nasty when you catch her on an off day. Not sure if she is the owner but she should still engage is polite customer servicne to her customers regardless of her status!! (ESP when you’re gonna charge what you do for memberships!!!! )

Positive experience: Pretty building, facilities are nice and clean, some good equipment but others are poorly maintained. When I've approached management, or the front desk staff,about replacing / repairing broken equipment they were dismissive and rather rude. For $75/month, I'd expect the equipment to be functional, or at least replaced/repaired in a timely manner. Also, and while they do have a variety of classes to partake in, they are primarily geared towards the older (re: senior) crowd and not well-suited to younger folks or those looking for a real workout or challenge. The yoga class is basically just stretching and laying down and the spin class barely gets my heart rate up (bad music selection, if any is played at all) as the pace is very slow. Ideally, I'd give a 2.5 star rating, if possible.
