Negative experience: Absolutely the worst customer service, the worst policy! I do not recommend this gym at all! I reached out to various different staff members in regards to my membership and over charges, not a single person was understanding or helpful! Never again!

Positive experience: I’ve been going to this location for over 10 years on and off. It’s got everything you need for a good workout. Definitely doesn’t have as big a variety of machines you’d find in a coed gym, but it gets the job done. My biggest complaint would be that it closes at 3 on weekends. I think these hours should be extended to at least 6pm.

Positive experience: I enjoy using this location for my workouts because of the proximity to my home and the hours of operation. I want to give a shout out to the associate who I have only seen on the weekends. She is always working, mopping the group fitness floor, tending to the bathrooms, vacuuming etc. She takes great pride with her work and she is very attentive and cheery to the members if they need anything. It gives a good impression to the members that some associates take pride in their work. There is another associate I also see, who unfortunately does nothing but sit at the front desk for hours at a time, doodling or watching videos and has to be told that the bathrooms need tending to or that the cleaning bottles are empty.... and she has not been receptive to this feedback! The managers have changed in the last few months. the previous manager was very professional and made herself available to the members. The manager now is also doing a GREAT job and is very approachable but maybe should be aware of what her associates are doing when she is not there! 5 stars to the hard working associates!!!

Positive experience: I really like the staff here and definitely recommend this gym. Is it huge? No. Does it have enough space to get in a good workout and also a studio? Yes. My only issue is that they don’t enforce people wiping down their equipment, and it’s especially bad during the summer when teens workout for free. People use 5 different machines within 5 minutes and don’t wipe any down; it’s certainly not every youth/teen doing it, but it’s quite a few. I wipe equipment down before using it, but it would be nice if they could kindly remind people to wipe the equipment down after using it if they see people not doing it, or when young people using the gym for free come in.

Positive experience: I wanted to give 1star if only it wasn’t for the other girls working here. There is this one particular associate her name is ‘Carly’ she is super disrespectful and not at all understanding or knowledgeable about the rules and love to argue. I have been in this club for idk how many years at this point but I have never come across an associate like her who is always on a power trip. I once went up to her to ask about the performance passes as I wanted to get some for my friends and I, and her response to that was “ call Co-ed location for that” I asked her again if she can just let me know about the details of the pass so that I can share that with my friends. But she just left the front desk and vanished. I came in the next day and asked the same question to another associate “Trish” she was super helpful and sweet. She helped me with the information and also helped me on how to get the passes. I remember another incident with this Carly girl, one day while I was working out I noticed that the garbage bins were completely full to a point that if I put something in it, it would just come out so I went up to her to let her know. She rolled her eyes at me and said just put it in the bin and started doing something on the computer and tried to pretend as if I was not there anymore. I hope you guys have some people who know how customer service works, or atleast have the patience and empathy towards the members.

Negative experience: I have had numerous of problems with this gym. My number one problem though is that they do not listen or respect members time schedule. I am always on a tight time schedule and the time that I spend at the gym is to workout, and not to be upsold or delayed. Last year, when I went in for a trial I had this one clerk spending 30 minutes with me trying to upsell me on a membership each day that I went in for that week. Even though I told her each time that I had 1 hour to work out. Today, I decided to come back to this location and I wanted to purchase a lock for the lockers. The clerks wanted me to scan my membership again after doing so the first time when I entered into the gym. When they scanned it they say that they are having problems with the membership and it looks like im not paying for a membership when in fact I am. After dealing with them for 3 minutes It was evident that they wanted to upsell me on something again and I had even told them I was on a tight schedule. I didn't even work out or get a lock. I immediately went to the Goodlife on Hunt Club and they provided me with a loaner lock. No additional money spent and no delay. The Hunt Club location has way better customer service.

Fantastic experience: This location is my to go Goodlife. Great location with firendly staff. It's certainly better maintained than regular Good life's. It's quite packed during the afternoon though.

Negative experience: Love the size of the gym and the free weight section, but the facilities are always broken. Currently the accessible washroom has been out of commission for ? Weeks, down to one hand hygiene sink and now the paper towel dispenser is broken. Leaving patrons to dry hands with paper towels that sit in a wet countertop. This gym would be a real attraction if they were more attentive responded in a timely manner to broken items.

Negative experience: although i’m paying for a normal membership just like everyone else my card did not work today and they wouldn’t let me in at 1:15? they told me that since i’m 17 i’m not allowed inside from 1:30 to 4 (unstaffed hours), which i would understand if i had been informed when i signed up, but that was not the case. so i told her i would like to cancel my membership and she said that i needed to give a 30 day notice and that i would keep getting billed?also was never informed about that when i signed up. worst goodlife location.

Negative experience: 0 stars. Scam alert: This gym stole my money. I asked for my membership to be cancelled and 5 months later or so I found a bill of $300 charged to my account. They scam you to steal your money and obviously the owner is happy about it. Let's not forget, the extra billing that happens sometimes during your billing cycle. I wonder who gets all that scam money. Obv they will always say, "the customer didn't UNDERSTAND" to make it right for them to steal your money. Anything built on deceit never lasts. I hope legal action shuts this place down.

Positive experience: Love this gym. It’s close to home, the staff is friendly, and has most of my equipment needs. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of five is because I wish it would have some more equipment (bigger variety of weight machines and dumbbells heavier than 50lbs).

Fantastic experience: The College Square Goodlife is good vibes always! Friendly staff and guests. Stepping into the gym makes me feel good, I feel comfortable, and am always greeted with a smile. Fantastic experience: The College Square Goodlife is a judgement free supportive club. The staff always greet me when I come in and when leaving. I am often reminded of openings in classes while on the treadmill in case I am interested, and I appreciate this gentle encouragement. This positive atmosphere leads to members encouraging each other as well. The community of happy members is because Liz always demonstrates teamwork.

We can confirm there are no 'hidden' charges as our pre-authorized memberships are no commitment (with only 30 days notice required for cancellation).

Fantastic experience: I would like to commend, Liz, the Manager of this Club, for the exceptional assistance she gave me recently. I had an issue with my membership and Liz helped me navigate my way through the issue. She is very professional, knows the business, and had all the time in the world to help me, with a smile on her face! And trust me, there were a few issues over a few weeks. Her customer service skills were obvious and she would not give up until the problem was solved. As a result, I have now made this Club my home Club thanks to Liz. I would also like to commend Raquel Theberge for all the help she gave me, with this issue early on. She tried working with Goodlife Head Office and showed incredible patience and persistence. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I am very happy to be a member of this Club !

Negative experience: It's completely terrible experience with this gym & especially their staff members. Staff members are very well trained to trap the customer for joining the membership however none of them has proper knowledge of standard procedure. I joined this gym before just 2 weeks. At the time of joining, staff member called Allison confirmed me that you can cancel membership within 10days with no cost & you will get refund. I cancelled membership just on 4th day of joining, which was done by Julia & she told me money is refunded to your account immediately. After 3 days, I again called & call was answered by Raquel who didn't had any clue on cancellation procedure & told me that Allison would give you call back. Nobody called me on second day, instead I had to call back. She informed me you have to visit gym with same credit card. I visited gym on same day & was told that it was already deposited in your account and We can't do anything from here but I didn't receive any money yet. Upon argument with Zainab, I was told by her that you are rude & don't behave in manners & other advices on how customers should behave. I think better than teaching customers how should they behave, train yourself & other staff members with standard procedure & customer service. It's very easy to say I understand your pain without going through it. When one customer is having multiple visits & calls with your gym with no resolution, how can you expect them to come to you in delightful mood & on top of all, teaching them how they should behave by telling that same things happens to me but I don't react in similar way is most ridiculous. WORST GYM, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. BIG NO...I am happy to cancel it.

Positive experience: a cozy place to workout
Positive experience: I start my exercise at 8pm and I finish at 8:50 I go to relax my body on the relaxing chair and the lady who works for the jym keeps looking at girls very weird and walks every day around the jym to tell the girls ‘We’re closing in 20min’ and then she comes back again and say we’re closing in 5 minutes she’s just in a rush to leave and she makes the girls not to enjoy their last minute work out. They should understand that we’re paying money to come and relax and have a good Exercise. I don’t recommend this jym once my contract finish I no more go to this jym.

Positive experience: This is a small, cramped location. I'm not a big fan of the layout. The group fitness room is a good size, and they have a decent schedule. There is no cycling studio or really any extra amenities that are of interest to me. They do have child-minding for those that need it and the location is convenient.
Negative experience: My experience was terrible with Goodlife! Before joining their club I mentioned that my budget was 500$ for 2016 and 500$ for 2017. They told me if I join their club in a "one year membership plan" they will be able to show 500$ in my 2016 receipt and transfer the excess of that to 2017. I trusted them and I joined the club. At the end of the year when I asked them for a receipt they said that was impossible!!! These guys simply deceived me... they just want to make people join their clubs for any price... I no longer trust these guys... If I had got a letter with the signature from the person who promised that it was possible to do that I would definitely follow the case from a legal way .
Fantastic experience: Goodlife college square is a great women's gym. It's small but has all the equipment needed and a decent layout. However, more attention could be spent on the changerooms because often they are dirty and lacking toilet paper, kleenex and paper towels. Please focus on this area more diligently and you will have a perfect gym.
