Positive experience: Went to gmy 5am and it was closed always issue with this place from water fountain not working for 3 month to not enough hot water when shower washroom are dirty machine are broken time to look for a new gmy ps I must say while fountain was broken they did give free bottle water

Positive experience: Edit: This issue has now been rectified so rating is changed Once again today June 29th the staff don't show up to open the doors. There are a group of us early users who have been waiting since 5am. It is now 6:30am and still no one has arrived. This is a issue lately, the staff being 30-45 minutes late no apologise to us the paying customers. This happened previously on : * Thursday June 27th - 30 minutes late * June 23rd- 45 minutes late * June 22nd- 20 minutes late I sure wish I could arrive to work late, laugh about it and then leave my work unattended as I go to timmies like they did on Thursday. The gym I previously raved about is no longer being managed well. I already had to make complaints and a Google review within the last few weeks to get the staff to fill the paper towel dispensers (deleted once issue was resolved), the water machine is still broken months later. I'm unsure if management is aware of how incompetent there morning staff are and that they are late, then sit in the office the whole morning filling nothing, or they just find it acceptable.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym people there are there to work out they do not care what you are doing or how you look

Negative experience: The guys that are on the front desk are awesome, owners don’t do a good job managing this gym at all. Constantly members are complaining about broken down equipement, some machines can we broke for 4-6 months at a time, always atleast 4+ machines broken at all times. The biggest issue is there is no air conditioning, already the gym is 76+ degrees and soars beyond 80 when the warm weather hits.

Negative experience: Theres a guy called Mark with steroid muscles. He thinks he's the best body builder but in reality is a softie who doesn't clean up the benches after he's done. Mark stop injecting and start cleaning buddy

Fantastic experience: Planet Fitness in Welland, Ontario is by far THE BEST gym experience I’ve had over the years. Drake (the manager) is absolutely perfect & has built such a great staff. Everyone is always so ready to give a helping-hand with their vast knowledge of the facility. Very accommodating too. I’m part of “The Morning Crew” as I do refer to it (prior to 7am arrival), & even the clients are definitely just as fun as they. I started out about 2 weeks back now in my journey to a rehabilitation process (bed-ridden with overlapping medical conditions since August 2023), & I don’t feel silly or unwelcome whatsoever. In fact, quite the opposite. Clean & Tidy facilities, in working order, great music, & once again, have THE BEST staff ever. Thanks Team @ Planet Fitness Welland. You seriously rock!! :) :D

Fantastic experience: Fix your water refill station plz :) Also; To the people complaining about not being able to make noise, this is not that type of gym where you throw down your weights. That’s been their motto from the start…

Negative experience: The only water refill station has been broken for 3 months

Negative experience: The good (Welland gym location) 1. The massage chairs in the back room are really nice! 2. I’ve never seen it crowed The bad (Welland gym location) 1. They discourage noise (i.e., clanking weights and grunts of exertion) 2. Cleaning by the members is inconsistent at best 3. Too many weight machines and not enough free weights and mirrors 4. Far too many cardio machines! Every time I was there, 95-99% of them were unused The bad (Planet Fitness) 1. Men are not women, thus men should not be allowed in the women’s change and or restrooms. This is elementary stuff and Plant Fitness revoking a woman’s membership because she didn’t want a man inside her change room is backwards and idiotic.

Fantastic experience: Clean. Friendly and inviting. Had a day pass to try it out and it did not disappoint. If your looking for a true judgement free gym this is your place

Negative experience: Got a temporary membership while my home was going through renovations. When I was ready to cancel, I couldn't cancel through the app or website and couldn't go to the gym as I was Ill. When I was able to go (Feb 29), I asked the employee if I'd still be charged the $55 maintenance fee. He said no, and that if I was I should go back to get a refund. I was charged anyways and when I went back the staff apologized and said they would work on it. Nothing happened. I went back again and they apologized and left a note and text message for their manager. Still nothing happened. I went back again - and again, they apologized and said they would get the manager to look into it. The manager tried calling me at work the next day just to say I wasn't getting it because I was supposed to cancel by Feb 25th (which I couldn't do). So his own employees don't even understand the company they work for, and he just kept ignoring me and wasting my time over it. Very poor leadership. It is nonsense enough that you can't cancel over the app or website. It is worse that the employees don't even know how to handle membership cancellations. There are better gym options in Welland, for the same price with more equipment. I do not see value in anyone getting a membership here when the gym on Lincoln Street has better, more capable staff and a lot more bang for your buck.

Fantastic experience: I am fairly new to this gym but am really enjoying my visits here. The gym is super clean and organized, has friendly staff and lots of equipment.

Negative experience: DON'T GO THERE ! This gym is for thieves, someone went into my husband's jacket pocket and stole his truck keys. Went to the parking lot and found the truck, rummaged through and found his wallet in glove box. Took the wallet and truck keys and left the truck. Staff didn't do anything, they wouldn't even look through their camera footage. .

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE! Someone went into my jacket pocket and stole my truck keys. Then found my truck and stole my wallet out of glove box. Staff did nothing they wouldn't even check the camera's. This ghetto gym is a joke

Fantastic experience: Spacious and clean, the lockers and bathrooms are nice. The black card spa is pretty cool with massage chairs too.

Fantastic experience: Gym is clean and very well maintained. Price is very reasonable and got great selection of workout equipments. Just wish that it would go back to 24hr gym for the convenience of access. 10pm close is little early for me. Even midnight close would be better. But overall great gym. Hopefully more ppl sign up to increase its hours

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Planet Fitness in Welland for a week, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The gym has exceeded my expectations in every way. When I stepped in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff and clean, well-maintained facilities. One thing I appreciate about Planet Fitness in Welland is the ample parking space available. It’s a relief to know that I won’t have to circle for ages to find a spot. Additionally, even during the busiest times, I’ve never had trouble finding a machine or equipment. The variety of machines and equipment they have ensures that everyone can have a productive workout session. Overall, Planet Fitness in Welland is the perfect place to achieve your fitness goals. The atmosphere is motivating, the facilities are excellent, and the staff is always ready to assist you. I highly recommend this gym to anyone seeking a convenient and practical fitness experience. Positive experience: I'd give a better rating but seeing as they are no longer 24 hours it's not ideal. Staff is friendly. Fairly clean. Nice equipment. I will be looking for another gym due to the hours changed. A 1 week notice seemed a bit short notice. A 5-10pm gym. Other than that I liked this place.

But anyone that feels they might have been wronged by a fellow patron or staff, just take your complaint higher. Morally if you are right with your complaint.. they will make it right. Clean facility and always a lovely interior.

Fantastic experience: An amazing place to get the most out of your workout. It's CLEAN and I love the purple colours. The branding on the walls is very encouraging and uplifting motivational words. Love working out here! It's affordable, CLEAN, and the equipment is great. The washrooms are super clean!!! Stainless steel sinks, and a nice-looking changeroom with extraordinary lockers and benches. Very impressive, and you don't have to pay a crazy amount of money. Affordable options. Positive experience: It's not a bad place to exercise. However, if you are looking for more free weight options, then it's not a place for you. Most of the time, you feel comfortable working out knowing that there's no meat head's walking around intimidating the less fortunate. But, of course, there is still one or two . Also, planet fitness is kept clean by their super friendly staff. I absolutely love the massage chairs and the water massage beds.

Fantastic experience: I started with Planet Fitness March 2022. The staff is very friendly, very welcoming, just a great, positive environment. The guests here at the gym are also so friendly. It starts with that warm welcoming when you first walk in, sets the high vibes for everyone. The gym and machines are always clean. Love that! Fantastic experience: Great environment. I lost one of my AirPods under a treadmill & had two employees help me out! They really went above and beyond to help me find it with no hesitation. One of them even took a couple pieces off the treadmill to get to it! Thank you!

Negative experience: I've been going to this gym for over two years now, it has great equipment and usually amazing staff. Ever since Jen with the bright hair started working there, I've noticed a downfall especially with customer service. I recently renewed my membership while she was working, and when I came in with my roommate she didn't even acknowledge us. Than when we asked for help, she was very rude & came off aggressive as if we were a bother to her. She than got frustrated, and told us to just sign in for the night. Than when we tried to pay for drinks, she told us the debit machine doesn't work and to just keep the drinks at no cost. It felt like she didn't want to be bothered with us at all, and it was more important to give away free drinks to get rid of us. She never greets us when we come in, and she chooses who to greet & not greet. Today I came in, and went to scan my membership as I usually do. She proceeded to yell infront of other members, saying that we need to use the other scanner. She rolled her eyes, and started talking about myself & roommate to the other gym members at the front desk. Than we proceeded to walk away, and we asked her politely what the problem was and she started raising her voice calling my roommate aggressive for asking a simple question. She than yelled across the gym that we need to leave, if we're going to continue to be aggressive with her which we were not. We than ignored her hostile behaviour, and started our workout. After coming out of the spa area, my roommate asked her politely to please not raise her voice at us next time, as we come to the gym to de-stress. She than proceeded to call my roommate passive aggressive, and stated that asking her to please not act that way again was extremely passive aggressive behaviour. I was there the whole time, and nothing about it was aggressive expect for her own behaviour. It seems to me she has this bad attitude problem, and she likes to label other people as the bad guy so she can have her own back. It was extremely disgusting, that we just ended up leaving and walking out. I've never in my life been treated this poorly, her attitude is the most vile thing I've ever seen.

Negative experience: The gym itself is well maintained and clean. I had no issues with that. I am having severe issues getting money back from overpayments, and being charged a second annual fee. I lowered my membership to the basic, and whoever at the counter, even though I signed the terminals, didn't complete it properly, for two months I was overcharged. I went back in, the plan was lowered, and I was promised a cheque from the office in Puerto Rico over 4 weeks ago and still nothing. I was then charged a second annual fee even though I paid this in January and I checked and this fee is only charged once a year. I called, upset, and the manager was supposed to call back, and did not. I am out $70 from this gym and I feel like I'm never going to see this money. This poor experience with the financial aspect is enough for me to walk away from a membership.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would! Not only has this planet fitness gone into our bank account unauthorized not once but twice after my husband medically suspended the account for 3 months, they have been rude and deceitful to us. A Promise of refunds for our out of pocket to cover charges as well as bank charges has NEVER happened! Umi has lied to us and is now avoiding all calls, and when we call we are spoken to with attitude unbecoming a professional "Judgement Free" establishment. If you value your hard earned money STAY AWAY from here.

Positive experience: Ever been to a planet dedicated solely to fitness and everything comes second? Well planet fitness isn't that place either. Whole Lotta staring and theres no powerlifting section. Where's the real bench press? This a gym for the non serious and cardio base. It's not bad overall though, well maintained and plenty of other equipment options if you're not tryina be a juice head.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE my Welland P.F. Staff is amazing. Helpful and seems genuinely glad to see me. The place is spotless, even the shower. Black card is worth the extra money. So nice to have a tan or massage before you hit the shower. I'm 60 years old and have never felt intimidated or out of place. Join , you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in the door I have been impressed with this gym. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, it is a bright, clean space that has all of the equipment you need. I greatly enjoy the spa area, the tanning beds are phenomenal and I love the hydro massage chairs. It feels like an oasis whenever I go in there after my workout. I made the switch from another gym and can't say enough good things about this gym. I have brought friends with me and they are excited for more locations to be opening up.

Fantastic experience: best gym in Welland. Amy helped me sign up. She was so friendly and informative and for the record she has amazing eyes just saying. Love the atmosphere. No lunkheads who can't be bothered like at some gyms . The staff is very friendly.

Fantastic experience: I went into today and wanted to sign up for a membership and I was taken care by Amy and she was the sweetest person ever, she was very friendly and very much informative on how the gym works and the machines and even for the spa. She made me feel like I made the right decision by signing up for this gym, thank you Amy!

Positive experience: Really great facility, we are visiting family and are incredibly pleased to see that there was a new planet fitness that opened not far from Fenwick! They managed to do a lot in a small space and the staff were very friendly. The equipment is modern and we were impressed by the touchless paper towel dispensers (and quality paper towels- we are easily impressed). The place was spotless and the equipment is well-maintained. Awesome to be able to choose the music you like while working as well! The only downside is there were some d-bags working out that didn’t wipe down any of the machines used, were very loud and obnoxious while lifting and didn’t wear masks while strutting around- it would have been nice to see this addressed. Also, be careful when you get a drink, I ended up with a shower and it tasted like metal but it was nice to have a working water fountain.
