Fantastic experience: I have been to so many different gyms, movati, crunch, planet fitness. You name it. This was easily my favourite gym, it’s more private so you aren’t waiting for machines to be open, they are open 24/7 so I could go whenever I wanted, very clean machines and inside as well. I even had 2 separate personal trainers here and both of them were fantastic, you build great relationships with the staff and very comfortable atmosphere. I couldn’t say enough good things about this gym!

Back room for hitting a bag, skipping, rope work, stretching etc. Some classes are also available. 3 individual washrooms with showers available. Gym was always clean. Never too overly busy and nice people. Most have good gym etiquette. Perfect for the average gym-goer. Gets my 5 star review for certain. Dr Brad

Fantastic experience: Good size and clean facility. Washrooms and showers are also nice and kept clean regularly. Has plenty of good quality machines and weights. The gym is never overly packed and you will rarely need to wait for a machine.

Fantastic experience: The facility is very well-maintained and meets the needs and desires of any gym-goer. I've had the pleasure of observing the upgrades that this gym has undertaken as far as decor, supplemental equipment including wooden boards for deadlifters, and such. I sincerely acknowledge this as it signifies the willingness to continue doing more for us members. I have even had my own inconveniences in the past with drastically misbehaving members, where staff were fortunately capable of responding quite rapidly. There is also some appreciation for the fact that the boxing spirit is very much present In the gym, with equipment that satisfies those athletes as well. Overall, it's great, and I wish to see more and more improvement over time. I also have tremendous gratitude for the one cleaning worker (super friendly) I typically see who visibly maintains the gym in a diligent fashion. It's coming along well Vive! - Yousef A. J.

Negative experience: Horrible customer experience. Despite multiple attempts to communicate transparently, the staff at the Fairview location overcharged me and treated me incredibly disrespectfully. Rude and apathetic. It’s a pity as the facility itself served its purpose. But the rudeness of the staff (Atik?), made me feel like a moneybag vs customer. update (4/11): since my original post and clear instructions to CANCEL my membership, I’ve since been charged $330+ by the gym. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable and I hope that I don’t have to go through the same experience as some of the other folks on this thread. Will update review and engage community leaders as this saga plays out …

Fantastic experience: The gym is really good and it is not crowded. There is always people who can advise and help you out. Customer service is really good too.

Negative experience: UPDATE: changing my 1 star to a 2 as HQ contacted me to hear more about my experience. They gave me a refund of the last month of my membership after countless times asking for one from the manager from this location. They advised more safety measure will be implemented. Simply changing my star rating for transparency and so they stop trying to contact me and guilt me into taking this review down. If you’re a woman this gym won’t feel the safest from experience, staff are unprofessional in handling situations when it comes to protecting gym members from other members who make them feel uncomfortable, when reported they immediately assumed it was a specific ethnicity who made me feel uncomfortable which was incorrect and very bold of them to ask if they were a specific skin colour. Do yourself a favour and find a better gym that values safety and security of all members!

Positive experience: ’ve been coming to this place for over a year now. Great equipment with great atmosphere. I was comfortable using the shower because I see how it is maintained well. But recently, the washrooms are not cleaned properly. There are molds forming on the soap pump and other corners of the shower are. I hope the management would take an action and properly conduct maintenance on washrooms for sanitary purposes.

Fantastic experience: This location is great, always clean and well kept. The 24 hour access is awesome for late night workouts. Can't recommend this place enough, definitely worth stopping by to check out if you're looking to join a gym in the area.

Positive experience: Going downhill since ownership change recently. Smells like sewage, no staff during the day, water filter never changed, no more towels. Great location so please fix so we can get back to enjoying again. **Update: since last post, installed new lights, filter is changed, no more sewage smell, bathrooms are decent, and absolutely playlists once in awhile.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for about a year now and I still love it! its a nice small gym but has everything you need. There are some classes throughout the week and the staff are amazing!! I had a situation where my airpod case fell into the Stairmaster (i know it was very surprised) but Karl took the machine apart and got it for me!!! i am very grateful :)

Negative experience: Please maintain your machines regularly. Half of the machines have loose seats and two benches are very wobbly. I have found these problems at least three weeks and the problem still there. Updated: May 7th, 2023 Very poor managed facility, went on Sunday morning at 10am, swiped my card and the door not open, another member with me has the same problem, call the phone nobody answered. Long bar missing over a month and still not back to the gym. Me and my friends about to leave this gym.

Positive experience: Been a member of this gym since January 2022. It's a smaller gym and most of the morning crew are there to just focus and do their work out which is great. It's well-equipped with all the free weights and most of the machines you need. Reasonable rates.

Fantastic experience: Amazing 24 hour gym, clean with every machine you could possibly need. Great welcoming environment with helpful staff. Only thing that could possibly make it better is if they had a sauna, but not a big deal as they have everything else.

Fantastic experience: I've recently switched over to Vive after years of trying out Crunch, LA, and Movati but I have never felt more comfortable and at home than at this gym. This gym is clean, it has great equipment, and has so many accessories for members to use, that I've never seen any other gym offer. The fact that it's 24 hours is a huge benefit as well. I got my membership started with Sara and she's absolutely fabulous. I've never been able to chat with trainers at other gyms but she made me feel like I was apart of the family from day one. When new equipment was brought in, she took the time to show me the ins and outs so I wouldn't feel awkward doing it by myself. There is not a single person at Vive that hasn't made me feel at home, I'm incredibly thankful to find this place to escape to!

Out of the three gym memberships I have, vive is honestly my favourite one. The vibe is awesome, people and the owner Tom are great, the whole aesthetic of the gym itself is spot on. Especially the fact they’re open 24 hours is a big plus for me. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: Excellent location, friendly owners and staff. Never a shortage of towels, sanitizers and stuff. Bathrooms/change rooms are always clean. Main office at the location has an open doors policy which is much appreciated. Finally, this gym takes on-premise security very seriously which is much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: It's not often that I take the time out to write a review, but this place definitely deserves one. Vive Fitness was an absolute lifesaver during this pandemic - a gym that truly went out of it's way to accommodate it's members during these trying times. Tom and Ava are absolutely lovely as gym owners and genuinely care about the wellbeing of their members - something that is an absolute rarity with big commercial gyms (trust me been part of a fair few). The gym itself is clean, well maintained and has a great balance between a bodybuilding(dumbbells, a machine for each body-part) and a crossfit gym (Monkey bars, punching bag, battle ropes, trap bar, sandbags, weighted sled etc.) At a price that is reasonable, and with Tom and Ava's personable touch being a part of Vive is just a great overall experience.

Staff and owners are kind and friendly, are very personable and make you feel comfortable. I love that personal feel, I dislike being a "number" at big box gyms. Fantastic experience: Vive Fitness Fairview is one of the best gyms I've had the pleasure to work out at in all my years of lifting. Eva, Patrick, and the entire staff make you feel like family. They take the utmost care of the equipment and maintain it to the highest of standards. What I also love is that they constantly check in with members to make sure they're satisfied. It's important to have a good ambience and atmosphere at a gym, and this gym makes me feel right at home. If you live in Burlington or surrounding areas, I would highly recommend going here!
