Fantastic experience: Jackie has been such an awesome trainer for me as someone who is new to the gym and very intimidated by everything! She’s laidback, kind and motivating which makes showing up for myself easeful. I have a really busy, chaotic schedule in the summer and travel often. She’s been able to help me stay consistent even when on the go which has truly changed my life. I love how she speaks in our sessions and how gently she’s able to introduce conversations around movement, routine, nutrition etc. so that it’s never intimidating or judgemental. I feel so seen, supportive and safe working with her! Momentum has also been such a fun environment to be in. It’s obvious that the community here is all cheering each other on! It’s always clean, never crowded and feels luxe without any pretentiousness. I’m hooked!

Positive experience: Great staff and a nice space where you can come and go as you please 24/7. Smaller space that does have most things you would need, but it is sometimes hard to get the equipment you want if there are other members or it gets busy. Always clean and tidy and the staff are very responsive by email if they aren't on site to help.

Fantastic experience: I am no health guru but honestly I think this place provides an Outstanding Gym Experience I recently joined Momentum Fitness as the location is incredibly convenient being a short walk from my home. The facility is open 24/7, which is perfect for my unpredictable schedule! No matter what time of day, I can always get a workout in! One of the standout features for me is its cleanliness. The gym is always spotless, with well-maintained equipment everyone wipes down after use. It's clear that hygiene is a top priority. The atmosphere is welcoming to all ages and abilities. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, I think you'll feel comfortable and supported. I have found the trainers extremely helpful and approachable and one or two of them seem to be around most of the times I train. They are available to provide guidance, answer questions, and offer encouragement. Finally, as someone who does not take it all too seriously, it’s perhaps their friendly demeanour and willingness to chat a little (about pretty much anything!) that has made working out an experience thats become an almost daily habit.

Fantastic experience: This is a very clean boutique gym with all the essentials. I highly recommend this location in Dundas. In the off-hours (i.e. after 8 PM) you pretty much get the gym to yourself, which is perfect for the socially anxious/shy individuals. They've got treadmills (motor-powered and self-powered), rowers, bikes, Jacob's Ladder, Smith machine, bench press, free weights, TRX straps, upper and lower body machines, and more. When I say this gym is CLEAN, I really mean it. As someone who is easily disgusted and a germ-a-phobe, trust me when I say this place is *spotless* and well cared for. There are lockers for you to store your stuff, shoe cubbies, and washrooms. The place has cameras all over, so you feel safe. It is only accessible by a side door and elevator that requires card key access, so you don't have to worry about people being there that shouldn't be. Tyler, the owner, is also very nice. Price is comparable to Anytime Fitness down the street, but obviously Momentum Fitness is more modern, cleaner, and far better managed and cared for. If you're humming and hawing between the two, definitely choose Momentum. Momentum is also 24 hours, with parking right behind the building that is usually pretty empty after 8 PM and obviously free after 6PM. Highly recommend this place!!

I've been working with Taylor as my trainer for a while now, and he's made such a positive difference in my progress. Fantastic experience: I joined Momentum fitness over a year ago while working closely with a physiotherapist after suffering a torn Achilles. I was welcomed by Tyler and the staff and felt very comfortable from the moment I stepped in the doorway. I prefer smaller gyms, and the equipment was reliable, clean, and functional every time. Tyler was easy to communicate with and made himself available to address any issues or questions that I had. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Momentum Fitness. The facility is clean, has great equipment, and isn't crowded or overwhelming. Tyler is so knowledgeable and personable - he understands how busy people are and has great strategies for helping clients remove obstacles that could get in the way of consistent workouts/achieving your goals. He and the rest of the team at Momentum go above and beyond to make new clients feel welcome, and they build an excellent rapport with everyone who goes there. The customized workouts are amazing, and really consider the client as a whole (the physical and mental health goals you want to achieve, your current fitness level, the time commitment you can make, etc.) If you ever have questions or need a refresher on how to do an exercise, the staff at Momentum are always helpful. Even my husband, who isn't a fan of the vibe at most gyms, was so impressed that he also signed up.

Fantastic experience: Momentum was exactly what I didn't know I needed, just when I needed it most. Consistently clean and well stocked, with an owner that's genuinely concerned about the health and success of his members, it's everything one could hope for in a gym. The wide range of weights and machines never leaves me bored and the central location overlooking downtown Dundas reminds me of a Hallmark movie. I'm definitely grateful to have found this hidden gem of a facility.

Fantastic experience: Here is why I love Momentum fitness - the gym is clean and well-maintained. It has everything you need to achieve your fitness goals. The people and staff are unpretentious, non judgemental, and friendly. The staff, especially the owner Tyler, is super responsive (even on evenings and weekends) if you ever have any questions or concerns. It’s open 24 hrs so I can book times when I know there won’t be a lot of people in the gym. When there is little or no other people in the gym I can play my own workout video on my phone while I use the free weights or other equipment. And finally they have online classes every day of the week for people who are more comfortable working out at home for whatever reasons! Quite simply, it’s the best environment for training, working out and generally achieving your personal fitness goals!!!

Whether it be to chat about workouts or anything it’s always good , honest conversation , which is hard to find these days . I have used the George St. facility and found it clean and comfortably set up, the equipment in ready use, and most especially, the size allows one to 'do the work', without all the 'noise' and 'wandering' of other facilities. Staff has been most courteous and supportive. I would recommend those in the available area of George St. enjoy this opportunity to physically participate in it's offerings.

Fantastic experience: Momentum Fitness has been instrumental in helping me make constructive lifestyle changes and even during the pandemic. In the past year I have quit smoking, joined Momentum Fitness and taken advantage of online classes. Tyler and the other instructors are very motivating and encouraging and that has helped me stick to it!

Fantastic experience: I have been working out virtually with Momentum since January 2021 and it has been amazing. The 30 minute workouts are extremely motivating and no equipment is needed!! So convenient for me as I don't live in Hamilton but I can still workout with Tyler live on Zoom and through recorded workouts on YouTube!! I'm hooked!!!

Being able to connect virtually, especially during COVID has kept me active while adapting to my new work from home environment. The flexibly of being able to connect when it works for my schedule allows me the ability to jump in and get a fabulous 30 minute work out whenever it suits me! Kind of smallish, the George st location is bigger and more open. Friendly staff and coaches. Very little free weights but enough if you're open to new angles and approaches. You don't need heavy to get big.

As a 24 hour gym, it's super handy to just use your card to get access and workout when you want.
