Negative experience: This gym is ok for value and for equipment but the environment is off putting. It's a bunch of gym guys sitting on machines and not working out. Their conversations tend to be degrading to women sounds like they are all there for ego boosts from.each other than they are to actually work out. As a female I stopped going because I got tired of listening to guys brag about how many girls they were.going to hook up with that weekend or how many they did...

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming atmosphere. First time ever using a public gym and I feel amazingly comfortable here.

Negative experience: Machine's are clean on the regular. But the staff is something else, the girl with red strips in her hair stares me down during my workout's. I'm not sure why, she would always make this a weird place to work out. Never working also. The younger guy maybe 16 or 17 started to question me where I was my age...

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the gym here for over a year and it's a great experience, Open 24/7 is a real benefit and the place is kept very clean.

Positive experience: Love the place, love the fact that this is open 24 hours and can go anytime, especially since this is like very close to my house. The only thing that I would like to improve here is to install a water fountain just in case whenever someone forgets to bring any energy drink from home, so they could at least have water available at this location. Unless everything is great, they have lots of equipment.

Negative experience: Disgusting place. Lockers smell like someone died in them. The staff is rude and does not clean. There’s always no soap in the washrooms and the toilets are disgusting. The girl with the red hair strips needs intensive therapy session to fix her cheap attitude.

Positive experience: I haven't been to this place as of yet however I do want to join. But a big question for me is why is it an extra $1.15 a month up to 13.80 extra before tax of year if I choose to pay for a full year in advance. This makes absolutely no sense I believe if you're willing to pay for a full year upfront you should get a break maybe a little reduction in price, if anything it should be $13 cheaper not more expensive. if you don't get a break that's fine it should be exactly on par with 1399 per week this makes zero sense please Somebody explain the logic in this

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Better than a lot of Goodlifes. Truly 24/7, you can walk in any time and it will be clean and ready (except change rooms/bathrooms)

Negative experience: I enjoy my workouts at Fit4Less; the pricing is unbeatable. However, I encountered an issue with one staff member, Nicole. When I asked a simple question, her response was rude and unhelpful. Additionally, I've noticed she's often on her phone and not attentive to her duties. I hope she will see this and try and be a better worker in the future.

Negative experience: The self serve kiosk at the front doesn't accept cash, my normal gym was closed and the machine took my 20 dollars because I thought the receipt printer was a cash inserter lmao, very bad experience.

Fantastic experience: Really great equipment, very clean! Locked rooms don’t open till 7am but the showers and change rooms are awesome, again very clean !

I just want to share my bad experience with fit4less today at Newmarket I’m a single mom I have one daughter 7 years old I took her with me today to the gym she was sitting watching her YouTube doing nothing else I was running on the treadmill and 1 of the stuff came to me sorry but your daughter doesn’t have to be here she is not 16 years old as a single mom living in Newmarket working In Toronto and driving every day 2hrs when I can go to the gym and. where I can leave my daughter how much we are making to pay babysitting and to the gym and pay the gas etc…… when I went to ask the stuff why she can’t be here the only answer that she gave she is not 16 years why ??!! And when asked her the 3 rd time you know we don’t have insurance for her if something happened!!! I don’t think everybody can understand my situation and how much negative energy I got from them when they told me this in the middle of my running and I have music on my ears

Negative experience: No yoga mats at all and no weight machine in the gym ….

Negative experience: I'm pretty frustrated because I joined the gym under the premise that there would be dumbells up to 100 lbs, per the website. I purchased the membership only to find out that they only go up to 75 lbs. Although this might seem trivial to some, I have spent the last year working on achieving a certain level of strength that cannot be supported by this gym (although it should). When I went to cancel (the same day I purchased the membership) I was told that the refund could take a few weeks to process, depending on when the person working on it, gets to it. Terrible service. And that I get no email confirmation for the time being that the cancellation is being processed. Aside from being cat-fished by this gym, I now have to wait 2-3 weeks for the money that I paid immediately to them. This is very poor business practice and because of this, I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to anyone. Thank God I didn't purchase an annual membership --- because apparently those CANNOT be refunded. I'm at a loss for words over these insane practices. *note to public* Should my refund be processed in a timely manner (in a few days), I will update this review to reflect that occurence. *Update* The refund has been processed immediately (I did have to send a few emails, though) but nonetheless, it has been done. *To Fit4Less* Inconveniencing the public over a simple refund process is no way to promote confidence in doing business with you. Also, it is customary to provide an email record of the cancellation request to the account holder, at the time it was requested. *Update To fit4Less* Thank you for your attention to this matter. Perhaps empowering yourvery capable staff tp conduct refunds at the store level would help tp negate these sorts of issues in future.

Fantastic experience: Pretty good place for a more fiscal option as far as gyms go. Staff are nice enough to deal with. Plenty of parking available

Positive experience: Great place to workout. People are friendly, staff and members alike. Lots of options available. It can get busy in the evenings making it hard to do specific exercises but it's a 24 hour gym so if you can go a little earlier or later you almost never run into an issue.

Negative experience: Not to my liking. Ok if you want to go in and just do your own thing. Equipment seemed ok. We were looking for a personal trainer to get us started. One employer only that we saw and didn't seem that interested in adding to the clientelle.

Positive experience: Always clean, always feels safe, my wife has severe anxiety and hates gyms and she felt comfortable, washrooms could be a bit cleaner but other than that its a good gym for the price you pay. Has almost all weights and machines you could need

Negative experience: I'm pretty sure everyone appreciates a quick and easy announcement before locking down the locker rooms at 10pm!! Some people may not notice the sign or may forget to check the clock! Our wallets and driver's license was locked in over night till the next day!

Positive experience: Relatively clean gym and has most of the machines you need to have a great workout. Quite a bit more crowded due to the new years crowd but its expected and its great to see more people in the gym. Overall, really good for the price but could expand in size a bit more

Positive experience: Staff are always friendly, when you can find them at the desk. I find myself waiting 10-15 mins before a staff member assists me with my tan. The tanning bed is good! Gym is fairly clean, although it smells musty as soon as you enter the door to the stairwell.

Positive experience: It's good for a small Gym. I have been to bigger Fit 4 Less Gyms and they have a specific machine that Barrie doesn't have.

Positive experience: You’ll never find an excuse of skipping a session because your gym is closed! You can always find a couple of cardio equipment available!

Fantastic experience: This is a great location clean all the time only complaint is cell coverage is spotty in some areas of the gym.

Positive experience: No water fountain at this fit 4 less location, you must use the bathroom faucet. Equipment variety is good, has two squat racks which many other f4l locations lack.

Negative experience: Staff doesn't show up to open locker rooms and showers regularly, all day.

Negative experience: I suggest dont go there, as they have no wifi no water tank that are most important aspects of the gym even though gym is really congested, some machines are not working properly

Positive experience: Teenage boys stand around for hours taking up a squat rack and not using it. Wish something was done about that. A very busy gym. Good luck getting a squat rack or bench of any kind. Other than that it’s a decent gym, kept clean, good price. Would like a black card section only.

Positive experience: Thank you for finally getting rid of the red water bottle that's been sitting beside the garbage can for the past 3 weeks

Negative experience: The most disgusting gym I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s atrocious. Blood and urine when you lift the toilet seats, hair/dust/dirt stuck between the stretching area mats, the floor has so much dirt and grime. I suggest finding another gym. They don’t hire cleaning crews and expect the staff to clean, which they don’t. There is also no way to directly contact anyone. You get an email for the manager and an auto reply saying that they only check the inbox once a week because they’re focusing on customers and cleaning. lol yea right. What a joke. Avoid a staph infection and find another gym.

Fantastic experience: (CHANGE ROOM) The change rooms are nice and a left in a reasonable state of cleanliness. Bring a lock with you if you have a bag or a change of clothes so you can lock your locker. Change rooms are locked on the weekends (After 4pm.).Their are lockers on the gym floor as well to store your bag and any articles you might want to lock up. If you have a black card (This includes Tanning/Massage Chairs) No Tanning or Massage chairs on weekends after 4pm. (FACILITIES/ GYM) The gym itself is good though. Clients are exceptionally nice. Machines are kept very clean and well maintained (If its broken, its fixed within the week). It has everything you want in a gym. Employees that work there are nice and friendly. I wish the Gym had wifi. I’m happy to workout there.I would rate it 10/10 for being a small gym.

Fantastic experience: Came from your sister gym goodlife fitness to this one, and am super happy with everything about this gym, its affordable, the lady at the front was very welcoming, I believe her name was melody, she answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable entering the gym! I find going between 12-5pm is less busy and I pass the early morning and after dinner rush of people.

Positive experience: Clean and great space. It is situated inside the Superstore, which leads to a little confusion for beginners on their first day.

Negative experience: I had been calling them everyday for almost a month to cancel my membership and each time an employee tells me that they are going to leave a note and the manager is going to call me back. No phone call, email or anything. And each time I call back the employees say that there isn't any notes!?!? Their website crashes when ever you try to cancel it online. People don't need to nor have time to be harassing you for a simple call back. Very very VERY poor customer service. DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS LOCATION!

Positive experience: If your looking for cardio machines and wieght lifting equipment at a budget price this is the gym. No spinning or other classes here.

Fantastic experience: Great facility, lots of equipment, easy to move around. The women's change / washroom is really big and clean. You can easily get a good workout in at this gym. The staff may not always be standing out in the open but when you need them they come to the front right away and are very kind and helpful. (have gone at various of times and all the staff are great)

Positive experience: 1-Machines are down a bit more then what I like 2-No water fountain they make you buy water or fill up in the washroom But their staff makeup for it very nice people( most of them ) Also I have to say they are by far the cleanest gym I have ever seen 99% of people that they use the machines they clean up after themselves ( One of the main reasons that I quite L.A fitness )

Positive experience: Friendly helpful staff. Washrooms & changerooms are very clean. Lots of machines and weights. Would recommend staff pay closer attention to people not cleaning machines. I watch a lot ( too many!) Use a bike, treadmill, weight machine etc and just walk away after not cleaning their own sweat off.

Negative experience: So your telling me you have fancy hand dryers and message chairs but no fountain? Other locations have a water fountain what gives?

Negative experience: I lefty GoodLife because I could no longer workout after work. This location is right beside my work and open 24 hours. I was excited to work out before I start in the mornings since you have showers. I was extremely disappointed the first day I went because I couldn’t access the showers before 7 am. I start work at 6am. I called the gym later and was told it was something about liability. I’ve signed all the necessary forms and use dangerous equipment without supervision but I can’t have a simple shower. Why advertise a 24 hour gym with showers when you have limited access to the showers. I now have to cancel this membership since I can’t workout before I start in the mornings. A complete waste of money.

Positive experience: Website says come in and ask for a tour, pretty much let our staff show you how the equipment works. In reality you have to ring a doorbell that most people don't even know exists because it's in a weird spot, for a staff member to let you in. Then when you state that your clearly new, wanting to join and would like a tour and run down. You'll get the response "Feel free to walk around" and no he won't explain to you how the machines work or anything, so if you a very new to the gym life, pay more at another gym. It will be worth it. Horrible representation for what this gym is. The only good thing is that this gym is cheap. After my year is up I will be paying more to go to a non good life gym.

Negative experience: I've joined in North York location ,(dufferin/steeles)and facilities there are good ,.they have massage chairs ,hydromassage and tanning (,people hardly using it,) In this Gym on Davis there are 2 tanning rooms and none hydro massage. The staff in both locations are good and helpful.You got to bring a bed 100%.my black card includes it .TY.

Fantastic experience: I have the black card membership and this location has the best shower/change-room setting in all the fit4less I've been to. As a female, I feel safer since shower/change-room is completely separate from the male's. Wished all fit4less have this set-up.

Positive experience: So I have a fit4less black card which gives me access to all locations . That being said I will compare to other gyms and other locations. If you live in the area I would recommend this gym. You cannot beat the price and it has a good selection of equipment. Cons no cell service and staff seem preoccupied with socializing and frequently leave the door. This gym is 24 hours but be careful, if you leave something in the car you need to wait 30 mins before your card will allow you entry again. This gym is poorly set up compared to the other locations. Everything is really tight it makes it a little awkard to work out. Not a lot of mat or bench room as well.
