Negative experience: A lot of members don’t respect gym etiquette and not re-racking plates and returning dumbbells in the correct spot. It doesn’t look appealing when seeing this everyday. If you can lift it, you can put it back! Also, you want to make a call or text, do it in the main lobby area or to the side. Don’t sit on a machine for 20 minutes just to talk and text. Not everyone has time to go too a gym for two hours just to socialize and make phone calls/text.

Negative experience: Some members should really be banned, no courtesy at all, and god I can’t breathe with body odour that bad. Had to cancel my membership cuz it felt like a fish market.

Positive experience: Honestly not understanding the bad reviews - haven't had an issue at this gym yet. It gets busy during core hours (like all gyms), but since they're open 24/7 it's definitely possible to go during deader hours in the early morning or evening. The regular membership is an unbeatable price, and if you're not a hardcore gym-goer, it has all you need and more. Can't speak for the perks of the black card as I haven't tried it (honestly haven't needed to!). My one star missing is just for some of the equipment being a bit worn - definitely a few missing foam handles and squeaky machines. But for the price, c'est la vie!

Positive experience: I've been coming to the gym since September 2023. Since that time, I've noticed people without membership ask members to be let in or 2 people come in the same time. Considering this gym is cheap and has no commitment, there's no reason these people couldn't afford a membership. Recently, I have not seen a lot of this, thankfully. Coming here on a busy weekday evening, you will be hunting around for and tripping over weights/dumbells (see picture). It's usually a mess, especially the backroom. Members have a bad habit of not re-racking their weights, despite management's attempts to enforce it. The benefits to coming to this gym is the price and location, and it's open 24/7, but you get what you pay for. Otherwise, the Goodlife Fitness on Joseph Howl Drive is a better option.

Negative experience: In order to pay, they want your bank information. Something until today I've only ever had to provide to my employer. Umm, hard no. If the system was compromised, just imagine... and you have to input the info into a keyosk that's in a public space....seriously, is it me, or is this messed up? Went in to confirm there was no other way, and both staff members confirmed this to be the case and just tried to reassure me it's just like a direct deposit. Sorry, but no, I do not authorize anyone to go into my bank account and take money out but me. So I left. It's only now that I'm home looking through the website that I'm learning I can pay vis credit card if I pay for the year up front. IF I had been informed of that when I was there at the desk(twice), then F4L would have my money already. Now I'm home reading reviews thinking to myself......Probably going to invest a little more to go somewhere nicer.
Negative experience: Been here for years if I could give it zero I would. Was a great gym a few years ago. Now it’s overcrowded with insanely rude customers. Some customers smell so bad you physically need to leave. And MANY of the customers work out in groups of 5-9 and hold onto equipment for 2 hours. OH AND many of these customers think they’re at Golds Gym, two hand cable rowing 45lbs like it’s a 2024 Ford F150 then letting it smash down. Don’t waste your money spend the extra cash and maintain your sanity.

Negative experience: Facilities good but always busy from like 330 till 11 at night... The big problems I have is with the smell like no offense but it's so bad its hard to breath. People smashing weights I think the "dropping weights to hard alarm is a lie and people sitting the machines talkin on the phone... then when u ask them how meny sets they either tell you they don't speak English or make up a number multiple times now I go to the shoulder press machine and ask him and tells me he has 3 more and im able to finish my hour long work out and HES STILL THERE!!! This happends on multiple machines and if you get a day it doesn't happen thats considered a good day. Deffently changing my gym was picking this because it was close not worth it.

Negative experience: This location has gotten really bad over the last 2 years, especially in the spring and summer months when the flood of temporary residents come in. New comers from Brampton and India have issues following the rules. They don't clean up after themselves, wear deodorant ( it stinks!) They sneak their friends in through the door. They use this place as a mingling spot to hang out , or use the free internet to Skype. Walking all over the benches and equipment barefoot is also gross, and so is using the drinking fountain as your personal hand washing station. Very inconsiderate of others.These behaviours are out of control after staff leave. Management and staff are really good,but can only do so much when too many people with no respect ruin the place.

Fantastic experience: I haven't gone often yet, but as long as you give staff a moment, they'll come out and attend to you. Cleanliness doesnt seem to be a problem, but i wipe down my machines before and after. Unlike a certain other gym nearby (not the same company), you don't have men looking over at you. Most seem to just want to get their workouts done, not showing off. The hydromassage and tanning are absolute bonuses. Tanning salons charge wayyyy more.

Positive experience: Convenient location and hours. Although it is very small - and some machine locations are questionable like the back left corner where a weight machine is, no one would be able to spot for you there, kinda dangerous? The lady at the desk also told me she couldn't do upgrades on memberships for my partner when I know they can - she either didn't want to or didn't know how, who knows. Good pricing which is probably why people go here tbh.

Nah, so I've been to this gym for over a year now, recently it has been insane. I've seen so many guys walk out of the women's bathroom I could make a TikTok compilation out of it. Some areas just smell awful... and finally I have seen people break fit4less's policy with no issue. ONE OF THE BIGGEST ISSUE I had is that recently there was someone barefoot, walking on plates with his sweaty feet, didn't wipe the plates at all, while also having his shoes nearby.. I would be severely concerned about the hygiene issues that this poses. Fungal infections such as plantar warts is an easy risk, as well as bacterial infections such as Staphylococcus aureus. Not good at all.

Negative experience: Beginning my 2nd month. It's wild their payment systems work flawlessly to vacuum money from my account but the brand new card won't scan and won't allow me into the gym. Their staffed hours are so poor you can't get help. Not even any security inside some mornings. Paper towel is all constantly empty and never refilled so machines arent getting wiped down.. I've seen multiple cable machines out of order for over the entire month I've been there, and the free weights are constantly all over the floor (again there's no staff). The price is really the only good thing I can mention, but it doesn't do you any good when your card won't allow you access and there's no one to call for help except for a very narrow window. I'll be asking for a refund and moving to another gym when they actually have someone to answer a phone call.

Positive experience: The gym is crowded all times of the day. Without the black card membership the weightlifting area becomes extra small. New equipment. 2 squat racks. 3 bench presses. Lots of cardio machines. Plenty of free parking.

Negative experience: I'm a member of this gym from quebec. I have a membership that includes all gyms. I came here. My tag wouldn't work. They simply said 'we don't know why but the tag won't work here' instead of offering me a guest pass they just said I can't work out there. It worked out well because it went to fitness FX just down the street and it was PHENOMENAL. Fitnessfx is one of the best gyms I've been to. Much more welcoming staff and the equipment, size of the gym and about of weights are great. Highly recommend fitnessfx

Positive experience: Only have small lockers. Showers are very small and you can only use them during staffed hours, so if you prefer to workout early in the morning before going to work, forget about it (unless you wouldn't mind going to work sweaty and smelly). I guess you get what you pay for!
Negative experience: People here need to shower/use antiperspirant. The whole gym smells so bad, I couldn’t take it anymore. It literally smells like death. I cancelled and signed up at GoodLife.

Positive experience: Never answers the phone. Called multiple at difference times during the day, over the span of a week. Nothing.
Positive experience: Overall Gym is good, they have massage chairs, tanning room. It is open 24hr. It’s nice that mostly everyone cleans equipment/machine after use with paper towel. However, I am unhappy that gym floor, mats and machines are not clean!
Fantastic experience: Very clean and organized. Friendly staff and affordable prices and premium service. I love their massage begs which relax your muscles and help you to reduce muscle stiffness. Very spacious space and they have most of the new machines.

Negative experience: I love this gym so much but there needs to be signs up to remind people to wear deodorant because there’s no need for the way it smells sometimes.
Positive experience: I personally haven’t had any of the problems in other reviews of this place. I only come in to do cardio though so I can’t really review the weight track or other facilities. Everything you’d expect is in order, so this gym is the best choice for me because of its proximity to my office. This isn’t the gym’s fault but rather a warning to all customers of the businesses in the plaza: the parking lot can be basically a warzone. Be careful.

Negative experience: I havent joined this gym because of exactly what everyone has reviewed. Pictures showing how gross and unclean it is, and the 2 times i went in to discuss a membership the girl "Jade", with glasses was so unprofessional and unwelcoming. Not the gym for me. I would love to go because it is right down the street from me and the price is good, but i value my health and customer service experience more than a cheaper gym. I see the "owner" keeps replying to everyone stating to DM them and they are sorry for their experience, well, DO SOMETHING ABOUT ALL THE COMPLAINTS!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This is my fourth month at Fit4Less Clayton Park. I was actually shocked reading some of the other reviews. I haven’t had a bad experience yet. It’s reasonably priced. Some would say cheap. The equipment selection is decent. I haven’t had to wait long for a piece of equipment either. I’ve been early morning mid afternoon and late night. Afternoons are busy but that’s to be expected. I’ve always found the staff to be helpful and while working out there hasn’t been a day I haven’t observed them cleaning something. Overall a great experience for me.

Positive experience: I am really happy with all equipments but big concern is people are keep waisting time on machine keep scrolling there mobiles and other problem I notice yesterday there was 4 members they occupied 4 different leg machines but keep sitting on there seats and keep exchanging machines with each other I was waiting there for 15 to 20 minutes but they don’t understand what is the mean to follow the basic instructions line or queue! If people are not aware about for gym rules please atlest management have to guide them…

Positive experience: No option of 3.5 so giving 4 stars. I have been going here for almost 10 months. It is cheap and i have to interact with staff once or twice. It is also opened 365 days, be it Christmas or New Year. Downside is if a machine goes bad, it takes them more than week to get it fixed. Also few machines go bad frequently. No upgrades observed in last 10 months. Ample parking available and if you are into working out early morning or late evening, then this location is best for you.

Negative experience: The lady who wears the “Manager” tag here must be joking around as she is unprofessional and lazy. Takes months to hear back from anyone and when you do she has basically laughed in your face. If you have concerns or comments don’t talk to the manager here. You’re better off going to another gym.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a work out. Some other members can be annoying but that isn't an issue with the business itself. Update: I've been going a lot more frequently and I have been enjoying my time even more. Lots of options and no pressure to stay longer than you need or want to.

Negative experience: I am so unbelievably disappointed with my experience at this gym so far in my 5 months of going there. I’m paying for a gym that’s supposed to be and it’s closed due to “unsafe weather” rain. Charged for membership is Ohk but to cancel membership charges me $7.99 and also asked to froze my membership they said they didn’t froze membership I have to cancel it and charge will be $7.99 on top of my membership lol totally hilarious. Never recommend anyone, Thanks and I hope they see this.

Negative experience: This location gets a 1 star due to one staff member by the name of JADE (who has been negatively mentioned in several reviews- why is she still employed?) a woman with blonde hair and glasses, who again, seems to be notorious for her terrible attitude, lack of professionalism, and horrible manners. Hate to break it to you JADE, but when you’re working with people in a customer service based job, common courtesy and helpfulness is a must. I had an issue with my account and key cars that the manager was taking care of, but it was left at a standstill due to her being on vacation, which is when JADE unleashed her tirade and yelled at me, screaming that i should "stop talking so much," and she doesn't get paid to yell. Mind you, the only one yelling was her. She needs to be fired and due to this, this gym and company lost a 10+ year customer. DO BETTER.

Positive experience: Best factor is the price, 100%. Half the price of the next cheapest in the city, while also having a lot of locations. It isn't the cleanest, isn't the best maintained, doesn't have the most equipment, most locations don't have fountains, it's dark.... BUT it's cheap! And I would say in terms of bang-for-buck, is totally worth it.
Negative experience: Poor Management,very rude attitude, and the gym offers black card to use the top weights but in all other locations with regular card everything is accessible except massage and sauna, the washrooms are dirty machines are dusty no proper maintenance well hardly find any staff they are always inside the the room never to come out , Been a Black card member but sorry to say this location is not good compared to others , I love fit4less other locations

Positive experience: I was surprised about the gym. I went around 7pm and I was expecting to be packed and I was very wrong! The place is kind spacious with a variety of machines. The staff is a little bit rude, but I can understand! For the price of the gym, worth it!

Positive experience: Convenient location, all the staff seem pretty nice, although there is one staff member that seems to walk around with an " I dont want to be here attitude" and her huge headphones on her ears. News flash: you're at work, take the headphones off, part of your job is to talk to people.

Negative experience: Poor management. The staff like to gang up and bully other employees instead of addressing concerns to management. The gym is run by young adults (who act like children)… HR needs to step in and straighten things out as it is getting extremely out of hand. There is no need for a workplace to be divided and BULLYING to be occurring. I’ve never seen such a show at a fitness place before. Level of professionalism is a complete loss. Something needs to be done, serious matter of bullying we are talking about and nothing has been done about it. I would strongly encourage you to avoid this location at all costs.

Negative experience: Most of the stationary bikes and lifefitness bikes are broken here and the constant sound is annoying but that is what you get for what you pay which is $10 bi-weekly
Negative experience: The gym itself is decent, but some staff are pretty rude and the facility also seems to never get cleaned. Staff seems to only sweep or vacuum and not do much else especially when it comes to the cleanliness of the washrooms and showers. Staff was supposed to be here at 7:00am, it is now 8:30am and there is still no staff. Maybe due to Halloween which I can understand if you’re 15ish minutes late, but an hour and a half is ridiculous and they’re still not here!!! **UPDATE** It is now 8:55am and one staff member just showed up. The lady with blonde hair, slightly bigger and taller, I believe her name is Jayde or Jade (not sure if I spelt that correctly). Ridiculous to show up nearly 2 hours late to work. I’ve been told by other gym goers that this happens often as well Adding on It was freezing in the gym today and for some reason the showers were freezing as well even when I let the water run for a couple minutes.
Negative experience: I came in at 9:30pm and asked to use the massage chair. The girl with blonde hair and glasses is always very cold and rude to me. She very rudely said that all amenities close at 930. Every other location let you use the massage chairs until 10. Some of the staff are kind, but some are severely rude. Most of my friends and colleagues avoid this location and I'm starting to understand why. If you plan on joining to go to this location only, then I would reconsider unless you're fine with being treated very poorly. If the amenities really close at 930 then that's fine, but atleast be kind about it? I am always very nice in my approach so there's no reason for her to always be so hostile towards customers.

Negative experience: Great price for gym. But you cannot shower in the morning before 7am because no staff is there. Most people work at 8 am. How are people supposed to workout and shower then eat and make it to work it's really bad planning on their behalf.
Negative experience: Small, make sure u lock ur things or might get stolen. Ppl are dropping weight and staff not doing anything about it. Broken change room door not being fixed for over a month. The men’s bathroom is closed for few days, what are we supposed to do? Don’t know.

Negative experience: I have been a member at several fitt for less locations over the last 15 years and this one is easily the worst, only three changing rooms ( for one person at a time) is beyond rediculous, its also the smallest club I've ever been in.

Positive experience: Not bad, usually very busy. Especially the cables, good luck getting on them. Bathrooms are usually not very clean. Junk on the floor of the change rooms always, very annoying actually.just like every other fit4less, when a machine is under maintenance, it doesn't get fixed for months.
Positive experience: It was better during the limited staffed hours of Covid. Now the staffed hours start too late on weekdays meaning You can’t use massage chairs or tanning after my workout and get to the office on time. Why not 6am? You are a gym where one very popular time to workout on weekdays is before 7am. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Totally worth the money, their washrooms and changing room are very clean and they also have a lot of equipment around, which mean you have the option of doing other stuffs while waiting for the one you wanted.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Great price. A lot of negative reviews about staff at lacewood fit4less. Since day 1 of me joining the gym ,I've had nothing but friendly, helpful interactions with the staff there. Sometimes you get what you give!!!
Negative experience: Worst gym I ever joined in my life, no prior notification if they are going to close the gym for any holiday while other gyms in the city are open. You will find most of the time gym is closed and they don’t update on google if the gym closed. They are closed if there is rain, closed if there is snow, I guess one day they may close if sun is too bright. Never opened on time. I do not recommend this gym to anyone.
Negative experience: I’ve been going to the gym for the last 2 months. Every time I visit I notice several members walking around without masks on. There is zero enforcement by the staff that masks should be worn.
Negative experience: I am so unbelievably disappointed with my experience at this gym so far in my 5 months of going there. There is absolutely no communication with members whether or not the gym will be opened or closed. Not an announcement, email or voicemail nothing but a note on the door stating there closed due to unsafe weather. I’m paying for a gym that’s supposed to be 24/7 and it’s closed due to “unsafe weather” rain. The Staff and management are absolutely horrible I don’t know what there being payed to do but there definitely not doing it. Weights and equipment are very unorganized due to staff hangout in the back room and standing around playing on there phones. All the other gyms I’ve been at staff are constantly organizing, cleaning and enforcing there rules. The total opposite of this gym. Also they do not abide by public health’s official guidelines with capacity what so ever it seams like there completely oblivious. There’s a note stating that maximum 28 black card members are allowed upstairs at 1 time. Yesterday feb 3 2022 I was there and there had to be at least 50 people up there at one time. I didn’t see a single staff member in the 2 hours I was up there say anything and 90% of them didn’t have masks on at all. Anyone could get this place shut down in a heartbeat just takes a few pictures. So in my opinion they should get rid of all there current useless staff/management and look for more reliable and responsible staff that are willing to come in to work rain or shine to do there jobs properly and work the 24hr schedule. Then implement a way to notify your members when there is a day your closed. Thanks and I hope they see this.
Negative experience: Terrible with hours, only open until 6 on weekends when it’s a 24/7 hour gym… smh, closed today when it’s raining and all GoodLife’s are open. They close at their convenience without notice, the management should consider delayed openings or information pages of when they are closed for better communication, no Facebook , emails or a message on their phone number indicating they are closed and there is no tracking system on capacity limits half the time , gym is packed and more people coming in, very disappointed in my experience so far.
Positive experience: The only downside is that it can be pretty crowded. The people (members and staff) are friendly. I haven’t come across any obnoxious behaviour yet from members, and it’s a pretty non-judgemental environment.
Negative experience: Update : 2024 This gym has to put it simple has gone Ghetto. The only thing missing is the needles. The gym regularly has homeless residing inside the facility during the unstaffed hours. It has become a regular almost ritual for a multitude of groups walking around without footwear or shirts on chanting and screaming. Just wait !! Even little dances infront of the mirrors for your entertainment showing their oh so very big muscles. There is a constant array of weights and equipment not returned from these same dancing chanting gym members. If your lucky , the equipment isn't dragged across the entire facility and relocated for their convenience to use as furniture while they spend hours on phone calls or texting. Oh and we won't get started on the list of lovely scents that violate your nostrils that fog this facility non stop from non deodorant wearing members reeking havoc on the pure oxygen. 2022: As a paying member of Fit4less. I have the following outlook : Members pay to have access to the Club during their business hours as posted 6:00am-10:00pm. This morning the club did not open as scheduled due to a "staffing issues". This is unacceptable for a corporation of this size and revenue , ontop of that unacceptable based on the fact prior to COVID they had unstaffed hours which could of been implemented until staff arrived. Previous reviews of this business are so correct it is comforting knowing there are many others experiencing the same lack of professionalism , sanitation and overall member experience is horrible. This location has become a hang out spot for the local residents of the area as many other things are closed , expect groups of unmasked members chatting on machines, taking up valuable space ( Limited to 50% capacity ) and equipment from members that are there to use the gym for the purpose intended. If this review ontop of the others has not persuaded you to choose another fitness facility then you will learn very fast for yourself attending this " Club".
