Information about Z5 Courts - Mississauga
Z5 Courts offer court rentals on a first come first serve basis for sports such as basketball and volleyball, among others. Our facility also houses sports-themed parties, training and development programs, leagues and tournaments, and many more. Z5 Courts is a first class multi-sports indoor facility that provides athletes of all levels a comfortable, professional playing environment. With over 13,500 square feet of playing surface, we have plenty of room to accommodate private groups to a much larger scale, tournaments and league hosting.
We realize how everyone has their own unique schedule, therefore, we strive to accommodate special requests on a case by case basis – please contact us.
Yes, there are lockers and they are free to use. Quantities are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis. Lockers are to be emptied by the user at end of day, otherwise, lockers that are left locked will be cut open and belonging are put away.
Drop-ins are paid per person by e-transfer, or in person by debit/credit card at the facility. Drop-in times varies, are played at specific courts and timeslots, with a cap of number of registrants. Drop-in schedules are posted on our website’s home page and Instagram.
Boots, leather shoes, spikes shoes, and outdoor shoes with soles exposed to exterior elements (ie. snow, mud, etc.) are not permitted to be used within the courts. A change to a pair of runners or any rubber soled, non marking athletic shoes are allowed.
Food and drinks are not allowed on the actual playing area of the courts, they are only allowed in the seating/spectating area. Garbage and recycling bins are available in the area. If trash is not thrown properly, Z5 Courts have the rights to ban food consumption to specific personnel and groups.

Positive experience: Whenever we have pickup games for basketball our goto spot has been Z5 courts for the past 7 years. Great environment to get some indoor games in, I’m sure the facility can be booked for other sports like volleyball but, from what I’ve seen and experienced basketball is a staple for runs at z5. The only downside with this place is the air circulation, like many others have said one industrial fan per court won’t cut it. Especially during the summer where it gets very humid and sweaty. I recommend maybe opening some windows or having some AC running, there could even be a cooling station. Another thing Id like to point out is to have more washrooms and water fountains, seeing this place as a sports court facility more of the above need to be added to accommodate all the people on the court. Usually there are lines for the washrooms on busy days and I am pretty sure there isn’t even a water fountain at the place. TLDR; Great indoor space, needs more air circulation, washrooms and at least 2-3 water fountains.

Positive experience: Way too hot. Easily 10 degrees hotter than outside. Volleyball court is ok but not a lot of room around it to serve properly
Positive experience: Z5 Courts has become our go-to place for volleyball fun, and it never disappoints! The rented courts are always well-maintained, providing the perfect surface for some intense games. Whether we're playing with friends or participating in league matches, the experience is fantastic. The atmosphere is filled with excitement and camaraderie, making it an ideal spot to bond and enjoy the sport we love. The only downside we've noticed is the lack of air conditioning, which can be a bit uncomfortable during scorching summer days. However, the sheer joy we get from playing at Z5 Courts easily outweighs this minor inconvenience. We'll keep returning for more unforgettable volleyball moments!
Positive experience: Good basketball court however, there is no air circulation. The plug in fans do not produce enough air flow to cycle/cool the air. The temperature we were playing in was 28⁰C. For adults and younger adults, some of us can manage however, the younger children should not be suffering in this. Maybe installing fans that work on the ceiling can help with ventilation.
Fantastic experience: Nice basketball courts. Only thing I'd look for improvement is that other groups need to pass through the court you rented to get to their side (far end) as we got interrupted a few times

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience, booking on catch corner was very easy. One of the employees was very chill, brought in a 12 inch speaker and played it as loud as it could go. Floors has lots of grip, very little dust. Only thing I noticed is the rims are 11’ doesn’t seem like 10. Definitely coming back
Negative experience: I’ve booked with Z5 Mississauga many times in the past and have given them good business. This one time I unfortunately booked a wrong time for a booked volleyball court 12-2am by accident and was supposed to book 12-2pm. I asked management for a refund for the mistake and was shot down. I sent an email to the establishment over a week ago with no reply as well. I get that it was a mistake on my end but other establishments that I’ve booked with immediately refunded me for the same error. Just overall horrible customer service.

Negative experience: Z5 is the worst court experience I’ve had. I had to literally chase a bunch of children and their families off the court even though it was already 10 mins into my rental. When I told the lady at the front desk she very rudely told me they aren’t disrupting me because we haven’t started playing?! I shouldn’t have to start playing for people to get off the court i’m renting. She then tried to convince me that the rental only includes one side of the bleachers and that it’s ok for the people from the rental before me to loiter on those bleachers. Very bad customer service.
Fantastic experience: My son's one of the favorite court for his volleyball practice! They have couple of difrent team preparation sports choices!

Negative experience: Horrible! We’ve played at many different facilities and this one is by far the worst! The staff are rude. The net wasn’t even regulation height. We walked in and the place was empty and the staff rudely told us to wait by the front door until exactly our time. They booted us off the benches even though no one was there. 5 minutes before our start time we made our way to the court we were assigned to and were told that we have to wait until our exact start time and to go back to the front, meanwhile another group arrived and were allowed to warm up 10 minutes before their start time. I’ve never experienced this level of rudeness and lack of customer service at any of the other courts. When we asked the net to be put to regulation, we were rudely told to play with it the way it is. There are way better courts out there. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place!
Negative experience: Fortunately for this establishment there isn't an option for zero stars. From the beginning there was an issue with the staff being quite rude. We requested the rim to be at regulation height, and was told to 'use it the way it is'. Are you kidding me, we're paying money it's not free. Staff rating is zero, facilities zero. I would definitely not recommend, good riddance.
Negative experience: Today we had booked the courts for a hour. We got there no one was on the courts so we asked polite if we could warm up before we started. Really rudely the employees told us we had to wait until our time. Then when we got to the court, we had asked if the net could be raised. Again, we were told rudely use it how it is. Might I suggest whomever is responsible for training it's employees, might I suggest them to be retrained. We had a terrible experience, and 100 percent we won't be booking again.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service experience. Email told me that if I've booked I've done the waiver. People kept fighting me on it in the front saying that it isn't sufficient. Either clear up the contents of the email or keep the staff aligned. Staff were really rude when i didn't understand why it wasn't sufficient saying i was "wasting my time" with clear attitude.

The waiver for the booking system is different from the waiver that is required for Z5 Courts. Therefore, we ask everyone to sign the waiver upon entry, including the person who booked. Negative experience: Staff waste your time during walking in. Even after giving them the vaccination requirements, they'll still want you to give them the documents THEY want to see. I am vaccinated and have my passport. They still want to see a passport with a QR code, otherwise they'll give you a hard time. Only ID im left to give to them is my S.I.N number. After our time being wasted, they come 5-10 minutes before our booking ends to tell us to leave so they can clean up and save their time. I love to play basketball here and never complained about the courts, but the staff handles situations like highschool kids and have no respect. I think it would be a better place when the owner realizes these "kids" handle situations poorly and making the business look bad. I would definitely recommend Kings Court Sismet, they're down the street and never give you any hard time.

Negative experience: Not good for volleyball i booked for an hour but it took 10 min to check in there and after 50 min the guy came and said your time is over because they’ve to clean benches

As per the government of Ontario Covid-19 mandates, Z5 Courts is obligated to check for proof of vaccination as well as ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility. This is to help minimize the spread of Covid-19. With regards to the check in, the mandatory waiver can be completed online prior to arrival. These conditions were all outlined at time of booking.
Fantastic experience: Great Venice!!
Positive experience: This is a great place to play volleyball or basketball at a great price. What’s annoying is paying for a full hour near closing time, to just be stopped 5 minutes early. Just a minor annoyance, but we should really get the full hour. Will change to 5 star if this happens.

Positive experience: Decent option for indoor team sports. Play volleyball here on weekends. Only downside is it can get hot. Air circulation can be improved but overall satisfied.

Positive experience: This court is actually great and captures the spirit of pick up basketball. However, I sustained a reasonably bad knee injury . When I asked for some ice the staff was not very accommodating simply stating “they had run out of ice due to a lot of injuries that day”… I feel the responsible thing to do would be to have ice on hand at all times . I’ll chop it up to a one off, but this is definitely something to improve on .

Negative experience: Double Rim, don't book it not worth it for basketball. They force you to wear a mask. While they are not wearing one while entering the gym. Personally I will not be going there again. Until they get single basketball rims.
Hi. We do not own double rims, you must have had us confused with other facilities. Also, masks are mandatory in all indoor spaces, this is mandated by ontario. Have a good day.
Fantastic experience: The gyms are kinda hot and small however, the floor is always clean and I never find myself wiping my shoes down or slipping. The staff are also very nice and welcoming. Overall just a great experience (in my opinion).
Negative experience: Unfortunately I have to give this place a 1 star due to the fact that they have no ac. At first I thought that maybe the place can’t have ac due to its size or whatever the reason may be. But then we were told that the owners/management choose not to have ac. I don’t even know how they’re allowed to operate without ac, the last few times I was there I thought I was going to have a heat stroke, it’s not safe what so ever and something definitely needs to happen! Unacceptable.
Positive experience: Nice courts but it gets really hot in there. Air circulation seems pretty poor. They have large fans blowing constantly to help but they are very loud and it becomes difficult to hear the coaches during practice

Positive experience: They have multiple indoor courts for basketball, indoor soccer, hand ball, volleyball, badminton etc. The courts are maintained and the protocols for covid-19 are followed. Staff are cooperative. Lots of parking available. On the corner of Dixie and Simcoe Blvd, location is next to highway and in neighborhood of lots of food places.

Fantastic experience: Facility is clean. Staff are great. However, staff are not enforcing their own COVID-19 protocols. This disclosure wasn't followed by the people renting the court next to us. 10 MAXIMUM PLAYERS ALLOWED ON THIS COURT AT ALL TIMES, WITH 5 ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANTS ON THE BENCH. Bench participants required to social distance, with masks on. There were more than 10 players on the court. There are way more than 5 additional participants (parents) on the bench which most of them were not wearing mask. I'm not doing this to give you a bad review. But I just want you to realize and remind you that the safety of everyone is your top priority as what it indicated in your FB page but that is not what I have witnessed today. Please review your safety protocol.
