Positive experience: Staff here after 330 are lazy , just sit in the back office and customer are going out too find the staff in their office. Need to have a proper boss present to ensure all staff are working and not on their phones in the back the entire time.. floors to clean , equipment to wipe and restack weights etc..

Positive experience: Lots of treadmills, bikes, and elliptical but very limited on weights. Can be very difficult to get a space to use the weights.

Fantastic experience: Workers are really nice here I often see them cleaning (unlike the Kingsway location I’ve never seen any worker clean anything). They have lots of cardio machines and a large space. My only remark would be that I wish they had more machines for glutes. They only have leg press and hip abduction. The other location has 4-5 machines for glutes. Also the hydro massage area is really nice it’s tucked away in the dark.

I heard your sales pitch a number of months ago to a new client, you told them a fountain is about to be installed. Since you opened years ago you have been selling we are about to install a fountain. Can you finally do it? Let's get a firm commitment. When?

Fantastic experience: It's time to do me. I enjoy this no judgment zone. Lots of machines. Clean. Membership is cheap. I love this place

Negative experience: I took the membership last night,and did my workout this morning, unfortunately my experience was awful. Nobody wipes the equipments after using them,gym was stinky and I believe the management must install some air freshener. Lots of hairs on the mats, unhygienic washroom. Finally I have decided to cancel my membership.

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if that was an option. Do not go here or waste your money on Fit4Less. They do not provide a safe experience. Two months after I started visiting this low-budget gym, I was in the middle of a treadmill speed workout at 10mph and the treadmill completely shut down instantly. It threw me on my back, resulting in a concussion and compression fracture of my L2 vertebrae. I missed 6 weeks of work and went through all my health benefits in less than 8 weeks doing extensive rehab but still have back pain more than 2 years later. On top of that, I have been getting the runaround from this organization and no compensation despite filing a claim and providing all the details they asked for. They do not deserve your business and they do not run a safe well-maintained establishment. They left this "maintenance in progress" sign on that treadmill for months and didn't repair it. I don't see a way to respond to the owner about contacting them via social channels, but I have tried reaching out twice and heard nothing. I will try again--and you can reach me via email or the contact info that I'm sure you have in your system. I have asked the Crawford representative I talked to about my claim to refer me to her supervisor, as she is very slow and unresponsive.

Fantastic experience: Excellent call service

Negative experience: It must feel like home, every morning there's atleast 2 to 4 homeless sleeping in the entrance. Maybe planet fitness is better.

Negative experience: Gyn is decent. Constantly dirty. Broken equipment. No water fountains or music. When you bring it up to the staff they almost laugh it off and tell you to use the bathroom sink to fill up the water. I mean you get what you pay for I guess but the no water thing is a health and safety thing. Make sure to bring lots of your own as even their vending machine is broken.

Fantastic experience: Clean and very helpful and knowledgeable employees. I've been going here since 2018 and would never go anywhere else!

Negative experience: Change your advertising information… No Wifi or water fountains… Also, to many high school students And staff are completely oblivious and need to be better trained on customer service

Positive experience: A KEVIN accused me for hogging the cable machine for no less then a breath and not realizing that there were 2-3 more open

Negative experience: Cancelled my gym membership in may at the kiosk, they continued to charge me. Called to have the funds reversed and to cancel my account, they said as I don’t have a receipt of cancellation that the kiosk didn’t offer me, they can’t do anything but cancel my account now. Asked for the name of the person I was speaking to in case my account was once again not cancelled so I could have a reference point to who I spoke to to have it cancelled and the girl refused to give me a name

Positive experience: Has everything you could need in a gym. Not the cleanest as cleaning is mostly left up to the general public, massage chairs stink and could use some maintenance. Staff is great, very friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: My son had a membership there and got called out of town for work the day b4 he had to be in BC . He tried calling to cancel his membership as now he will be inBC for months and was informed on two different occasions when calling to try and cancel that he could not cancel over the phone only in person. My Mom went into the gym personally on his behalf and the manager was very helpful at that time and said staff misinformed my son he could have cancelled over the phone. She was nice and accommodating and cancelled the membership , but staff need to be trained better as my son ended up paying for Two more months of a membership that he could have avoided if staff were more knowledgeable at the admin part or their jobs.

Negative experience: Okay gym, but incredibly misleading membership purchasing process. No matter what you select, you are forced to pay for the entire year in one lump sum. When I asked the employee, he seemed to have no clue if I would get refunded or not from my "commitment free" membership, if cancelled.

Positive experience: The gym is great on its own. Staff clean frequently and there is good equipment. The problem is there are only a few of the popular machines (bench press and cables). The BIGGEST PROBLEM is the groups of people working out and taking up these popular machines for an hour while they talk, despite there being a hang out section. I'd love to see staff and management put in some signs of no more than two people at a piece of equipment at a time. Or handle people standing by machines and talking for a half an hour.

They don’t help you fulfill the contract at the beginning and even when you call in and cancel the account they don’t even bother to tell you that they will still take 2 more payments as part of the “ 30 day cancellation fee” They don’t even help anyone fulfill the contract to sign up. I’m telling you, this place is a joke so save your money and go somewhere else where they actually care about their members. Positive experience: You won't find a better price, but it's missing a lot of typical gym essentials. No showers, wifi, or even water fountains. Absolutely bare bones gym that has the equipment if that's all you need.

Positive experience: Pros; Great price Lots of machines Tanning Hydro beds Massage chairs 24/7 Cons; They seem to have a weekend staffing problem. Been there a few times when they're supposed to be staffed and no one is there so you cannot use any of your black card extras.

Negative experience: Customer service needs an overhaul. Staff was apathetic and unhelpful when debit machines were down.

Positive experience: Great for the location. Always cardio machines available. Small weight room. The black card is a great deal. Seems like there's frequently no staff at the counter but the staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are some staff members who are rude or don't know what they are doing. Also very strange that there is no water fountain in the building.

Positive experience: This gym is definetly a good deal! The basic membership is less than 15$/month and can be canceld flexible. Still, I can't ignore the fact that it's not completely clean and there a no showers (-1☆). Furthermore, advertising with open hours 24/7 and then closing on Saturdays and Sundays by 6pm is a big disappoitment (-1☆). Even though they claim it is due covid 6pm is way too early! The training opportunities are pretty good for the price. All in all something between 3 and 4 stars but I'd rather say 3 stars. If the open hours had be changed back I would give 4.

Positive experience: I have been going to this gym for a month now and it is pretty great for the price that it is. The gym rate is what really attracted me in the first place. Very affordable. Its close to home, has most of what you need as gym equipment goes. It would be nice to see some kettlebells and especially some water fountains but other than that, a great gym all around

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym for the price. Maybe not for for hardcore bodybuilding or pro attletes. I have a black card because I can use the gym in Lloydminster where I work 50% of the time. Otherwise, basic membership would be enough

Positive experience: breaking every Covid restrictions by having over capacity to work out

Negative experience: I joined the gym because it was open 24 hours but its not I cannot even cancel the membership. I understand that the vaccine proof must be shown to staff, present only in morning, but there can be ways to upload the vaccine card on our online accounts and only those fobs work who had uploaded the vaccine card. I work whole day and only have night to do workout so it never works for me.

Positive experience: Their sign says 24 hours but they only open from 6 to 10. Whereas, other gyms are still 24 hours. Covid is just an excuse they can link our vaccination proof with the card so that vaccinated people can come anytime. I used to like this gym but this 6-10 time made it difficult for me to come to workout.

Positive experience: Nice gym, for the plan they offer with no commitment it's a good deal. Plus not much traffic in the morning and it's the only gym in Capilano so much convent location. They fixed up their broken tvs which is a bonus but should remove the false advertising for 24/7. Otherwise great location

Fantastic experience: Anyone that complains that Fit4Less doesn't have the amenities of something like LA needs to go pound sand. Its $10 a month, of course its not going to have everything a $120 gym does. You're given everything you need and more. Its $10 a month. You really can't beat that.

Negative experience: Couldn’t cancel during COVID so I forgot about it. I switched over too GoodLife (who owns Fit4Less). I call to cancel my membership and then since my one year anniversary fell within 30 days of that phone call I was charged an annual cleaning fee of $50. When I cancelled on the phone they didn’t say anything about fees or 30 days, they just said okay thanks. They refuse to refund my fee. The irony in this l cleaning fee is that the gym is never clean. Before people sign up here they should know that there is no water fountains, one squat rack and that if you show up at 5 am and your card doesn’t scan properly, it will read “duplicate scan” and you won’t be able to get in, so you got out of bed and drove there for no reason. All in all not a great experience.

Positive experience: I wish there were staff available throughout the day so that Black card members can enjoy the features in early morning as well.

Positive experience: Would benefit from another overhead press machine and one more pec/rear delt machine. Edit: Changing my review to 3 instead of 4 stars after seeing the Fit4Less in Red Deer. Wow. They have newer, better machines as well as ones that don't even exist in any Edmonton location.

Fantastic experience: The gym itself is pretty straightforward. They don't have those stupid "Fitness Assessments" that would coerce you into taking personal training. You get exactly what you pay for. The most basic things in a gym such as change rooms, complete equipments, massage chairs, tanning beds, lockers, and washrooms are all in quality condition. The staff particularly in the Capilano location are incredible. They're just chill and make people welcome. They don't get all up in people's faces or hover on the gym goers. The ambiance of the gym isn't intimidating either and its great for all levels of fitness (that I've achieved so far anyways). It's a budget gym. People that come here aren't people that want to waste their money, maybe with the exception of a few flirting teens lol, but overall, no one gets up in other people's business.

Positive experience: Basic gym, lots of cardio machines but somewhat limited on lifting space.

Negative experience: Always ice cold in the gym at all times, people cheating the door and passing the card behind them to the next person, 2 people coming into the swinging door at once, 1 person scanning their card then opening the handicap door for the next person to sneak on. The gym is always extremely cold to the point where it is impossible to work out without wearing winter clothes

Negative experience: Very disappointed in how they have dealt with us as customers, I couldn't cancel last year, and I've emailed them, called them, and they have taken double payments out, for who knows why. Worst customer service.

Positive experience: UPDATE: Fix all the broken TVs and get some real wipes for the equipment. Slightly less than Decent gym. It would be nice if they had showers and softer benches. I'm very glad they're open again and not worried about masks too much. Besides, those that are worried about masks should stay in their caves waiting for the next ice age.

Negative experience: We are all navigating through this together, making sure we keep our mask, respect distancing and make appointments to do our workouts, but hey arriving five minutes before 8 am for my appointment (when gym is supposed to open ) and no one here, all people waiting on the parking lot, it’s 845 now no signs of this place opening, I didn’t cancel my membership through all this times when I didn’t even step in the gym to support a local business in my community so bare minimum is commit to have the place staffed and open when is supposed to for your clients to work out.

Negative experience: Attended this place on March 3rd was totally harassed by the one staff member was yelled at for not understanding the time blocks Denver has refused the staff members name totally non-professional customer service an aggressive and hostile

Negative experience: I dont know why but everytime i come some nights there is this staff who just works on that day i think her name is aliya she always fights with a member. this happened last night. I usually go twice a day to workout and in the morning i see the staff cleaning all the time i think one of them is the manager also. They’re doing a great job cleaning but in the evening aliya and other staff keeps on chatting so loud. They should prioritize cleaning instead of talking all the time. I’ve been going here for years and i’ve never seen the gym this clean since the new manager handled the club. i used to see staff eating by the front desk or using their phones but now its very rare to happen.

Positive experience: The gym is great. Great equipment. However low rating because the staff is not walking around making sure people are distancing (which the are not) and making sure masks are worn. I had a few individuals that had no mask and would workout with free weights right beside me. My mask stayed on the entire time there.

Positive experience: Nice Gym, lots of equipment . The weight area is a little cramped. but the cardio and machines are decently spaced etc. The staff are friendly. The gym is super clean. Decent gym for your $.

Fantastic experience: I sometimes use my friends Black card membership to workout here and i noticed that they really prioritize cleaning especially now. I usually go to my other gym just a few miles away and honestly there’s a difference with how they sanitize everything! All of their sanitizing station is filled and checked out time to time which is good! on my other gym i think only 3 times a day they do deep cleaning and that’s it. The manager is so nice and the other staff too. I’m the kind of person who never smiles at you but can’t help ones the staff says hi or bye to me lol!

Negative experience: Gyms are supposed to be a place where people go to feel better, but how was I supposed to focus on my cardio and feel better while watching two men beat each other up and break tables on each others heads on wrestlemania on the two TVs in front of me??? After asking an associate to change the change, I was informed they are set corporately. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: For what it charges, it's absolutely excellent! No, it doesn't have a pool or any of the fancy big expensive gym bells and whistles, but it has pretty much all of the equipment you could need for most workouts and it's dirt cheap. Plenty of free weights and machines for whatever style you prefer. Lots of different cardio machines and a, big enough, mat area for stretching and whatnot. Staffed until 10 p.m. but open 24 hours. I do tend to go very late in the evening so it is never busy. It does seem like it might get a little crowded during busy times because it's not exactly the biggest place but I can't really say and maybe it's fine.
